Anyways I REFUSE to cave to shame because of the way people stereotype bisexuals. Or to take responsibility for the horrible actions of some bisexuals. It's unacceptable to act like all bisexuals are male oriented and ignore the existance of female oriented bisexuals. It just is. I'm done trying to make excuses for this shit.

One thing I love about reading essays and listening to podcasts from other people leaving social justice culture, and changing my understanding of how I view it myself, is refusing to be a doormat. Having self respect. Not getting so wrapped up in identitarian essentialism that you start to have a view of yourself that isn't grounded in truth. We can have solidarity against social problems and want to be a part of solving some of them without partaking in this kind of disservice to ourselves.
