Drama CD translation: Period  Cube  ~Torikago no Amadeus~ Arcadia Saikyou Ketteisen!
Tumblr media
Once again, thanks to @ghostbunnies for commissioning me to translate this! This drama CD is a special tokuten that comes with the game Period Cube ~Torikago no Amadeus~ if you ordered it from the Animate store.
Translation under the cut!
Period Cube ~Shackles of Amadeus~ Special Drama CD
Arcadia’s strongest decisive match!!!
 -Wind blows, footsteps-
Astrum: I’ve finally reached the location. The journey was quite trying for a quest this level. -rustle- Even so, this is the most complex cave I’ve ever seen. There are a number of pathways connected to this wide space too… -Wind blows, footsteps- Hmm? Human footsteps? Is it other players? -foosteps draw closer- !! You!
Radius: Someone already beat us to it, huh? Why are you here?
Zain: What’s the matter, Radius? Was there someone?
Radius: Yeah, someone troublesome.
Zain: Ah, Astrum! You also came!
Astrum: It’s you, Zain? What an unexpected sight to see you two travelling in tandem.
Radius: It’s also rare for you, isn’t it? You’re always dragging your minions along with you. Are you alone today?
01:34
Astrum: Watch your mouth. My subordinates are resting at the passage entrance. Everyone endured a lot of injuries to reach here.
Radius: Troubles increase when you surround yourself with weaklings. Wouldn’t it have been much easier to come by yourself?
Astrum: How pitiful, to be unable to comprehend the value of comrades who trust each other and the strength of unity. Unfortunately, I do not have enough free time to entertain the likes of you. I do not care what you came for, but I would prefer you refrain from getting in our way.
Radius: That’s my line. You are the one who shouldn’t be hampering my quest.
Astrum: Quest, you say?
Zain: Yeah, Radius came here for a special quest.
Astrum: Could it be the quest to get rid of the boss monster in this cave?
Radius: Yeah. Don’t tell me you’re here for it too.
Astrum: Indeed I am. Having the quest I accepted overlap with a demon’s is fairly insulting, but unfortunately for you, there will be no chances for you to take the stage. Even if you accepted the same quest, we, who reached this point first, are the ones who get precedence.
Radius: Don’t just decide on your own. Once the boss pops out, it shouldn’t be a problem who defeats it. Besides, since you don’t have Zain accompanying you, it’s impossible for you to clear the quest.
Astrum: What do you mean?
03:04
Radius: There should’ve been “Zain is accompanying you” among the clearing conditions.
Astrum: The quest we accepted didn’t have such a condition. How foolish of you to try to confuse me with such cheap nonsense.
Radius: Zain, what does this mean?
Zain: Who knows…I don’t understand. It’s possible that the contents of a special quest are different depending on whether it’s accepted by the Angels or the Demons.
Astrum: Anyway, I do not intend to hand over the quest to you.
Radius: That’s the same for me too. I’m busy with my work in the real world. I want a lot of time when I return there next time.
Astrum: How uncouth of you to bring up the real world in such a situation. –mutters in different speech style- Besides, I’m also busy. I must attend the next exam, and while it’s impossible, if somehow I end up having to repeat a year I won’t be able to show my face to anyone.
Zain: I don’t really get it, but the two of you are pretty busy, aren’t you? -warning sound- Eh? This sound is…
-roar-
Astrum: The quest boss!
Radius: -tuts- We aren’t done talking yet, but there’s no helping it! Now that things have come to this, I’ll just take down the boss with brute force!
Astrum: Very well. I, with the Divine Blade, and You, with Shadow’s Edge-let’s settle which one of us is stronger! And only the truly strong would be worthy of being beside the Almighty Amadeus.
Zain: The last part was irrelevant to the current situation.
04:40
Radius: I have no interest in a match with you, but it’d be a pain to have you hanging around in the future. I’ll take this chance to make it clear which one of us is stronger! Zain, go hide by the rocks.
Zain: Okay, got it. Well then, best of luck to you both! -runs off-
-heavy footsteps, roar-
Astrum: Hmph, trying to challenge me? I’ll make you regret it.
Radius: Shadow’s Edge!
-screech-
Astrum: You rascal! Are you trying to steal a march on me?!
Radius: The fight started the moment we declared we’re going to fight it! Or were you expecting a starting signal?
Astrum: Curse you! -unsheathes sword- With this Divine Blade of Light, I will be the victor!
-clang, monster roars-
Zain: Work had, both of you!
-smash, smash, smash-
Astrum: You expect to catch me with such dull movements?
-footsteps-
Radius: Oi, you’re in my way!
-jumps and hits, monster roars-
Astrum: You too, don’t get in my way! Haaa!
-jumps and hits, monster roars, footsteps-
Astrum: Tougher than I thought!
Zain: You two! At this rate, time will run out without you having cleared the quest!
06:00
Astrum: That is impossible as long as I’m here!
-cuts off monster’s body part-
Radius: I won’t make such a mistake either!
-hits, monster’s body cracks, roars-
Zain: Ah, be careful!
-smash-
Radius: This is the last strike!
Astrum: Eat this! Divide Blade!
Radius and Astrum: Haaa!
-double synchronized hit, monster roars, collapses-
Zain: Amazing! You did it at the same time!
-monster disappears, wind blows-
Astrum: Did we do it?
Radius: Hmph! It was more bite than bark.
-Zain runs up to the others, pants-
Zain: The two of you were amazing! I didn’t expect you to cooperate to defeat it!
Radius: We didn’t cooperate. Our timings just matched by chance.
Astrum: I could’ve easily won on my own. It’s like he got leftovers from my win.
Radius: Listen, you-
-system chime-
Zain: Congratulations! You two have completed the mission.
07:18
Radius: Both of us completed it?
Astrum: This man and I- which one of us won?
Zain: Hmm…Both of you worked hard and were amazing. Plus you cooperated towards the end.
Radius and Astrum: We didn’t.
Zain: See, you’re perfectly in sync. Both of you are in the same position. Both of you won.
Astrum: It can’t be helped. We’ll have to defer our match to a later date. Be prepared to settle things the next time we meet.
Radius: I don’t want to be part of a match like that, ever. It’s only a bother with nothing to gain.
Astrum: You scoundrel…
-the area lights up-
Zain: Ah, this light is-
Radius: Sheesh. -clang- With this I can finally go back to the real world.
Astrum: Wait, you! -clang- Are you trying to run away from the match with me?
Radius: Even without such forced matches, we can settle things by clearing the Ark.
08:14
Astrum: Hmph. That’s also true. -clang- Very well. We, the Clarius, will clear the Ark and explicitly prove that we are the best in Arcadia.
Radius: Do whatever you want. See ya.
-disappears-
Zain: Both of you, bye bye! -sigh- They returned to the original world. How nice, they have places to return to. I’m the only one without a place to return to. –zoom sound- Hmm? -footsteps- A teleportation portal? There was one here? Oh well, with this I can go back outside.
That’s right! I should go visit her. She’ll definitely be happy if I tell her about today. Mmm…I see! I get it now. By her side is my place to return to.

Robert Case CEO - Medical Devices - 3 Trends in Healthcare Technology that are Upgrading the Industry
3 Trends in Healthcare Technology that are Upgrading the Industry
Healthcare technology is undergoing exciting upgrades all the time and several trends in the industry are spelling out better health options for everyone. It is becoming easier for healthcare providers to offer solutions that are built around meeting patient needs because of advances in mobile integrated technology, miniaturization of complex machines, and the increasing accessibility of digital data.
A study from IMS Health reports that there are over 165,000 mobile health consumer applications, and that number is growing all the time. Because patients have more opportunities to participate and track their own wellness, the health care industry is under pressure to innovate and include patient needs in the process.
Growing Number of Mobile Healthcare Devices
Most consumers have grown accustomed to various devices that support health and fitness. Countless fitness trackers, sleep apps, and IoT integrations are making it possible to monitor your health everywhere you go.
The health care industry has been working to adopt its own arsenal of mobile solutions to help reduce costs while improving the quality of care. Dave Willis, co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer of Clarius Mobile Health, a mobile ultrasound provider, shares how mobile solutions can resolve cost issues for hospitals. "Medical devices are often prohibitively expensive, meaning a hospital may only be able to purchase one unit if they have a tight budget. That also means that only one physician can use that device at any given moment." Mobile devices, on the other hand, often cost much less and provide similar if not the same degree of quality that older, more expensive machines do.
By increasing the number of devices accessible to physicians, mobile medical devices improve patient care and reduce costs. Mobile apps, like UpToDate and Isabel, are also making it possible to decrease the amount of time it takes a doctor to give a patient a sound diagnosis. Hospital adaptations to existing personal health devices, like wearable fitness trackers, have the potential to improve the state of patient care. Imagine a physician wants to track a patient's cardiovascular health and events while they are away from the hospital. With a wearable designed to do just that, the amount of data a physician has at their disposal increases significantly.
The Rise of VR as a Digital Healthcare Platform
The mobile and wearable ecosystems have given patients more access to health data than ever before possible. Whether it's online patient-facing information websites like WebMD or platforms that allow you to interact with physicians in real time, the digital healthcare segment is growing rapidly.
With so many exciting applications, it is no surprise that Virtual Reality is entering the digital health space, with countless firms racing to establish platforms that are easy to use for both doctors and patients.
Dr. Albert Rizzo, a physician at USC, shares, "It has not been the theory or research that has held back clinical VR, rather the availability, adoption, and costs that have limited its widespread use." With the advent of standardized VR hardware and software, these costs will decrease and allow medical professionals to develop new applications for its use
Limelight on Healthcare Technology Investments
More and more investors and celebrities are getting involved in healthcare innovation. Most people are used to celebrity endorsed diets or special vitamins, but this new wave of investment is much more innovation-driven.
Some of them are even starting their own health-driven companies. Arianna Huffington recently announced her entry into the corporate wellness sector with a venture called Thrive Global. Other heavyweights like Mark Cuban have begun to make significant investments in the development of healthcare technology.
Perhaps lesser known in the entertainment world, but no less significant, Peter Thiel has invested heavily in anti-aging research. Quoted in a release from the MIT Technology Review, Thiel shared that he invested because the field is, "structurally underexplored."
All of these trends spell out a future for healthcare tech that is more mobile, better integrated, and much more accessible to a larger segment of patients. Upgrades in hardware and the number of investors in the space will continue to drive innovation that improves the entire industry.
"Technology developments are improving patient care and driving down costs," says Willis. "The industry's integration of smaller devices and modern patient communication platforms will increase the effectiveness of medical professionals."

PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE VIEWING
Anyone remember Dino Time? It was a movie in 2012 that was supposed to come out, but then just didn't. Here's the trailer that was aired before several of the animated films that came out that year.
It was supposed to be distributed by Clarius entertainment, but never came out, except for in Australia, where it got horrible reviews (Not surprisingly).
I saw this trailer when I went to the sing-a-long showing of Frozen. For some reason, it reminded me a lot of Dino Time. Turns out it's distributed by the same company.
Curious, I checked the website. I had done a little research on Dino Time out of curiosity when it didn't come out, however all I found was a few recognizable actors that were apparently in it, and a bland as crap website. Not this time, though. The website had obviously gotten a total re-haul, because it looked eons better than the website I had gone to back in 2012. What's more is that Dino Time isn't even listed on the website, just this movie.
When you look at the page of listed films, I want you to also take a look at the cast listed. Thought you saw wrong? Let me give y'all a better look:
Tumblr media
That's right, They got Martin Short, Dan Aykroyd, motherfucking PATRICK STEWART, and many other well-known actors!
The Wikipedia page for this movie says it was budgeted at 70 Million, and I can see where all the money went! How did such a small, unknown company get a cast like that???
I can say without a doubt that this is the most interesting movie coming out this year (If it even comes out at all), not because of the plot, or the (Might I say rather cheap looking) animation, but by the strange history behind it. We may never know what happened to Dino Time, hell, it's very possible that this one will vanish without a trace as well, but if it doesn't I'm going to see this movie, if only to see if it gives me some sort of understanding of the strange nature of Clarius Entertainment.
