Going on a small hiatus!!

I should have said it earlier but I thought I would be able to keep up with the writing.

To keep things short, I have some important exams this month so I won't be able to focus on writing. Once I am done with them at the end of the month I should be able to relax.

I might or might not work on some requests but it all depends on how burned out I feel.

ooh sure and thanks for asking! my journey started a little over a year ago, when i realized i wanted to actively understand the (sub-less) bsd stage plays and the new manga chapters - little did i know the picky watcher in me would be consuming lots of different jp content after bsd...

personally i've always loved venturing into unknown language territory, so when bsd and the need for MORE bsd happened i took learning jp as a new challenge! *insert overconfident sunglasses emoji*

as to how... well. i was lucky enough to stumble upon wanikani right away, then a few yt channels with neatly explained grammar made me realise it's not as hard as i thought! the fact that i was finding new interests in the meanwhile served as both the means and the purpose of it all. anime, shows, even jpop lately - which is a shocker bc i never really cared about artists before - there's just... this innate quality to jp media that makes it so, SO enjoyable that i find myself wanting to learn more because i don't want to miss out on the fun. even if there are subtitles or translations, it's always best to know the original meaning :D also. i love kanji.

right now i'm still using wk along with marumori, but more often than not i just look up words or grammar points that i don't understand (oh and. i listen to and watch almost exclusively jp stuff. the Phase got me good). hopefully i'll get to n3 level soon but there's still plenty to learn 👀

Imi place cum unii oameni se plang de felul in care f multe seriale contemporane au un limbaj f steril de parca toate personajele au mers la terapie, iar majoritatea conflictelor se simt nenaturale sau pur si simplu plictisitoare, in timp ce in filmele romanesti daca nu e macar o scena cu un conflict care apare din senin si care nu are mare legatura cu conflictul principal ceva lipseste

Schimbam canalele TV și am aterizat pe RomânicaTV, care anunțau on "adunare spectaculoasă la mormântul lui Ceaușescu". Erau EFECTIV 9 pensionari cu mutre de bețivi și steaguri PCR, în frunte cu aia care o juca pe nutritionista Nikitei la Mondenii.
