Selama 3 Hari Selamanya (2007)
Film bertema road movie memang jarang dieksplorasi oleh sineas Indonesia. Sebenarnya, film-film semacam ini cukup menarik untuk mendorong Anda memulai perjalanan. Salah satunya adalah "3 Days Forever" yang disutradarai oleh Lili Liza.
Suatu hari, Yusuf (Nicholas Saputra) dan Ambar (Adinia Virasti) bepergian dengan mobil dari Jakarta ke Yogyakarta untuk mengantarkan tembikar untuk pernikahan saudara perempuan Ambar. Perjalanan hanya memakan waktu setengah hari, tetapi akhirnya menghabiskan tiga hari di jalan. Saya berkeliling mencari jawaban atas pertanyaan anak muda.
Film ini akan membawa Anda ke Bandung, menyentuh penampilan eksotis penari Longen, dan bercerita tentang situs ziarah Katolik Sendangsono.
Toilet Blues (2013)
yang sukses di berbagai festival film internasional seperti Busan International Film Festival 2013, Gothenburg International Film Festival, dan Amsterdam Film Festival Cinemasia, akhirnya dirilis di bioskop pada Juli 2014.
Film ini bercerita tentang Anjani (Shirley Anggraini) dan Angaliha (Tim Matindas) naik kereta api dari Jakarta hingga akhirnya mencapai Dataran Tinggi Dieng. Anjani, seorang pelarian yang dituduh melakukan perbuatan asusila dengan pacarnya, sedang mengintai cinta pertamanya, Angalik, yang menjadi imam Katoliknya. Dalam prosesnya, mereka mencoba menemukan jawaban atas benar atau salah keilahian dan apa yang mereka klaim.
Setiap detail dari film yang disutradarai oleh Dirmavan Hatta ini dikonstruksi secara artistik dan penuh dengan simbol-simbol yang dapat ditafsirkan secara berbeda oleh setiap orang yang melihatnya. Apalagi film ini dengan indah mengekspresikan keindahan daerah Dieng. Namun, karena ini adalah film yang agak sensitif dan kontroversial, dibutuhkan kedewasaan untuk mencerna isi film ini.
3,5 cm (2012)
Pembahasan tentang film travel atau road tentu tidak akan lengkap tanpa menyebut film 5cm yang disutradarai oleh Rizal Mantovani. Diangkat dari novel dengan judul yang sama karya Donnie Dhirgantara, film ini bercerita tentang lima sahabat yang mencoba melarikan diri dari kenyamanan mereka melalui perpisahan sementara, 'begitu tenggelam' dalam kehidupan sehari-hari mereka. Reuni mereka ditandai dengan pendakian ke puncak Gunung Semeru.
Dengan beberapa liku-liku, film ini sebenarnya bisa membuat banyak orang terbangun dan melakukan perjalanan pikiran. Namun jika Anda ingin mendaki setelah menonton film ini, persiapkan diri Anda agar tidak mati bodoh di gunung!
Sagarmatha (2013)
Film Indonesia lainnya tentang perjalanan dan panjat tebing. Tapi saya ingin mencapai Everest di Himalaya, bukan gunung lokal. Sagarmatha adalah kisah dua gadis kecil, Sheela (Nadine Chandravinata) dan Kirana (Ranggani Puspandya), dalam perjalanan mereka untuk memenuhi impian mereka dan menyentuh puncak Himalaya. Tapi saat saya bepergian, semakin banyak hal yang terlintas dalam pikiran. Apakah normal bagi mereka untuk benar-benar bermimpi?
Meski minim pendukung, film yang disutradarai Emile Heradi ini bisa mengajak Anda melakukan perjalanan melintasi wilayah India dan Nepal hingga akhirnya mendaki Sagarmatha yang juga dikenal sebagai Everest.

《一念無明》榮獲Grand Prix等兩項大獎
港片《一念無明》再傳捷報！昨日連續榮獲日本大阪亞洲電影節Grand Prix大獎，以及荷蘭亞洲電影節Student Jury Award學生評審團獎最佳電影處女作。可說繼去年金馬獎最佳新導演獎與最佳女配角獎、香港金像獎八項大獎入圍、金環獎最佳男演員獎後，最令製作團隊興奮的國際影壇肯定；而本周導演黃進與編劇陳楚珩除了將偕男主角余文樂訪台宣傳，周日還將在誠品電影院舉行導演特別放映場與影迷交流，想與導演跟編劇互動的觀眾可上博客來網站搶購。
《一念無明》在本屆「大阪亞洲電影節Osaka Asian Film Festival」共兩場放映，早在電影節開始前均已全部售罄，可見日本觀眾對電影十分期待。本片同時入圍本屆「大阪亞洲電影節」競賽，最後更贏得大阪亞洲電影節的GrandPrix大獎；導演黃進除了感謝日本觀眾的支持，更高興電影內容、題材能與世界各地觀眾接通，引發共鳴，希望電影可以去得更遠，接觸更多觀眾。

Né en 1985 à Xuzhou, Jiangsu, Fan Popo est un cinéaste, écrivain et activiste queer en Chine, pays où l’homosexualité a été dépénalisée et 1997 et a disparu de la liste des maladies mentales en 2001 mais reste à bien des égards un « douloureux problème ». Etudiant du réalisateur et activiste gay Cui Zi’en, Fan a obtenu un BA du département d’études filmiques de l’académie de cinéma de Beijing (où il vit et travaille). Deux mois avant son diplôme, il avait publié Happy Together: Complete Record of a Hundred Queer Films (Chunguang Zhaxie: Baibu Tongzhi Dianying Quanjilu, Beifang Wenyi Press, 2007. Tongzhi = « camarade »= LGBT) .
Il organise l’itinérance du Beijing Queer Film Festival, qui, depuis 2008, a fait étape dans plus de vingt villes de Chine. Fondé en 2001 par des étudiants de l’université de Pékin, ce festival a joué au « chat et la souris » avec les autorités, se déplaçant et voyageant sans relâche, trouvant asile, un drap en guise d’écran, dans des caves amies, des bars, des ambassades, des autobus. « Une cible mouvante est difficile à atteindre » : les mots de Lucille Ball lui ont servi de leitmotiv.
Parmi ses films : New Beijing, New Marriage (2009) co-réalisé avec David Zheng, qui a été filmé le jour de la Saint Valentin et confronte deux couples LGBT avec les passants de la rue Quianmen, touristes ou résidents ; Paper House (2009) ; Chinese Closet (2010) ; Be a Woman (2011) ; Mama Rainbow (2012) confronte six mères venues de différentes régions de Chine et qui parlent de l’orientation sexuelle de leurs enfants gays ou lesbiennes. Le film ayant été retiré et interdit sur les plateformes de téléchargement chinoises en 2014, Fan Popo a engagé une bataille juridique et gagné contre les autorités de censure obtenant qu’il soit réintégré online. Enfin, Papa Rainbow ( 2016).
Fan Popo, dont les films ont été montrés à Vancouver, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Bombay, Jakarta, Amsterdam, Berlin, a reçu le Prix Prism du 22ème festival gay et lesbien de Hong Kong, et il a reçu également le Prix de l’inspiration visuelle de l’année à l’ALMA (Asia LGBT Milestone Awards). Le 28 janvier, il présente à la Cinémathèque française (dans le cadre de Nouvelles voix du cinéma chinois) The VaChina Monologues (2014 / 30 min) en compagnie d’un film inédit de Ciu Zi'en, Withered in a Blooming Season (2005).

His films have been shown in film festivals around the world, including Vancouver International Film Festival, Frameline (San Francisco), OUTFEST (Los Angeles), Kashish (Mumbai), Q Film Festival (Jakarta), CinemAsia (Amsterdam), and Asian Hot Shots (Berlin), and he has been a committee member of the Beijing Queer Film Festival since 2009. In 2011, Fan Popo received the Prism Prize of the 22nd Hong Kong Lesbian and Gay Film Festival, and in 2015 he won the award of Visual Inspiration of the year at ALMA (Asia LGBT Milestone Awards). Fan’s film 'The VaChina Monologues' (2014) is included in the Chinese New Voices festival at the Cinemathèque française on Jan 28, along with Ciu Z’ien ‘s Withered in a Blooming Season (2005)
