Here are some headcanons I shared with the Dislyte Pairings Discord server! It's about Bi Tao and how he'd be with cats! DISCLAIMER: As of the making of this post, Bi Tao is still not playable and "Way of Mastery" was the most recent story event to come out! If canonical information releases in the future that contradicts what's in this post, please don't get mad at me, this was just for fun! There are also some headcanons about my self ship polycule ChuSeaTao (Chu Yao x Me x Bi Tao) so please be aware of that! I will not tolerate rude comments about the ship: if you don't like it, DNI Anyways, headcanons are below the cut!

-Bi Tao takes care of many stray cats of all breeds and ages! Working with the Shadow Decree (or whatever he's doing most of the time) wouldn't give him the flexibility to officially adopt, but he views those cats as if they're his own children. They mean the world to him!

-He will ABSOLUTELY choose the cats over people. You're allergic? You're not welcome in his home. You need him to leave his home and go somewhere with you? If one of the cats are on his lap or sleeping on him, he isn't moving an inch. The cats don't like you? Womp womp, he won't either. -He would get super protective of them, and he worries about them whenever he's not home! In a world full of espers, miramons, and miralces, there's lots of violence and anything could be dangerous for kitties 😭

-He'd trust Chu Yao to look after them, but NOT for long periods of time 😅He's aware that the shaman is hyperfocused on his goals and the Chaos Miracle, and he also knows that he cares little about lives that he considers to be beneath him. But he also knows Chu Yao is responsible, and he'll make sure the cats are fed and safe at the very least. At least the shaman has standards👍 And let's be honest, the cats MIGHT grow on him with time. Even Chu Yao wouldn't be 100% immune to kitty love

-Bi Tao definitely had cats as a kid! He's very experienced on how to handle them, how to tell if they want to be touched or not, and general wellbeing stuff, like health signs to look out for so he knows when to get them medical attention. -He loves all breeds, including hairless ones! He would defend them to the death if someone were to insult their appearance (no fr why do people hate hairless cats so much THEY'RE REGULAR CATS, DON'T BE MEAN!) 😭

-Meowing and other noises they make don't bother him! If anything, he's happy some of the kitties are vocal and want to be heard by him. It's one of the few things that can instantly put a smile on his face, which is normally almost impossible to do! here's the ship stuff I mentioned earlier:

-Me/my oc would spoil those cats ROTTEN, they're precious babies! They're the first ones getting little smooches and cuddles whenever I come home from places like college! Chu Yao, Bi Tao, wait your turns, your gf is busy with the kids 😂

-All 3 of us are not fond of cat litter, but it's a responsibility we need to take care of! We'll take turns cleaning, and we make sure to remind each other as well

-Me/my oc would constantly buy and make toys for the cats to play with! (I did irl with my sister's cat, he loves a pom pom toy I got him and he plays with it constantly!)

-The kitties would join the 3 of us on the couch or on the bed whenever we all relax together! They'd nap and enjoy the attention
