1. What’s your favorite Christmas song?

Okayyyy so I used to sing Mariah Carey’s „All I want for Christmas is you“ every year out loud with my classmate. We would literally walk through the hallways in our school and piss of everyone with our singing. Ohhhhhh and Melanie Thornton‘s „Wonderful Dream“ is burned into my memory all the way back to being a little kid. My mom loved that song, she played it everyday around Christmas and told me about the singer. She died in a plane crash around Christmas (allegedly). That’s possibly also how i developed my fear of flying, by hearing this story each year. 🫠😂

2. What holiday movie do you have to watch during the season?

Definitely „Kevin Home Alone“ a classic in my world. That movie gets watched each year I swear. 😅

I have nothing to show except this star lamp I bought some time ago ⭐️😇

I'm not very big on Christmas (what with being a devout atheist and all). Some (my bff) might argue I'm something of a Grinch. But for you two, I'll happily play 🧡

1. What’s your favorite Christmas song?

That's an easy one, actually: Carol of the Bells. I love how the lyrics are all "merry christmas" and "bring out the cheer" and the music sounds like a downright threat. A perfect in-my-heart-it's-Halloween-every-day Christmas song!

No way I'm spending Christmas at the cathedral, though, heehee.

2. What holiday movie do you have to watch during the season?

Same as you @evolnoomym, it's Home Alone! This movie is the only thing that can unGrinch me! And you didn't ask, but I always watch Willow on NYE (yes, I stay in on NYE).

1. Christmas is always tough for me, so my favorite song always has been "Have yourself a merry little Christmas", preferably by Frank Sinatra. But I also love "Driving home for Christmas" by Chris Rea. And a German song, we visited the castle where it was composed in the 16th century: "Es ist ein Ros entsprungen" (How dare you ask me such a question? I listened to to over 10k songs this year, I can't just simply choose one for Christmas? 😭)

2. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation (my Dad used to watch it when I was a kid and now it's just pure nostalgia and cozy goofyness for me.)

3. Christmas is chaos this year and we don't have our tree up yet (in Germany the tree often gets decorated on December 23rd or 24th...) so enjoy last year's tree from my parents.

1. What's your favorite Christmas song?

Ooh gosh. O Holy Night in lots of different versions, probably. I love the NSync Christmas album (90s fangirls rise up!), Punk Goes Christmas, some of my favorite bands have Christmas albums, Vocal Few, The Rocket Summer.

2. What holiday movie do you have to watch during the season?

White Christmas. (is this movie really SEVENTY YEARS OLD this year?) This one became a favorite when my life was in flux and childhood holiday traditions were being upended, I spent some time with another family and this was one of theirs and I just loved it! It has all the old fashioned silliness for nostalgia but it's still beautiful. Elf is another favorite, depending on who I'm with Die Hard is usually a must-watch, in a similar vibe I feel like the new Netflix series Black Doves will be on the list now, too. I often restart LOTR and the Harry Potter series for a winter rewatch around the holidays, too.

I don't have a picture, but my tree is so sad this year 🤣 I have a 3 foot fake tree on a coffee table in front of a window... the box of ornaments is next to it, but the only two ornaments on it so far are triathlon and running themed 🙃 Instead here's a memory from the a day in Chicago visiting the Christkindl market... I love Christmas lights in a city.

Kurt put a pointed finger to Blaine’s chin and raised it slightly, exposing the full length of his neck. “You look delicious,” Kurt said, his eyes widening hungrily, irises colouring red and pupils turning into slits. He wasn’t hiding his desire for Blaine in the slightest.

Blaine swallowed and felt heat rising in his cheeks. He tilted his head back further for the vampire, not quite able to determine how much of his actions were completely voluntary.

“Blushing, are you? Cute. I haven’t blushed in over 400 years,” Kurt flirted darkly. “Looks good on you. Very appetising, so nice and full.”

Kurt was talking about his blood, Blaine knew. The blood he was gonna draw from him any minute now. With his teeth. Straight from his neck. Blaine’s breath hitched. “You can… you can drink from me now, if you wan’t.”

“Oh sweetheart, not yet.” Kurt winked. He floated around Blaine and settled behind him, his lips grazing the skin below his ear. “I like to prepare my food before eat. Get it nice and hot, you know?” He trailed his fingers lightly over Blaine’s body as he floated around him again. “Maybe it would taste even better stuffed. What do you think?”

“I...” Blaine felt his blood rush in his ears. He nodded. “Stuffing sounds good.”

“Excellent.”
