Growing up wasn't perfect, my parent's relationship DEFINITELY isn't, but coming home is always like the biggest bear hug. My mom doesn't get rid of much so it's always... Like there's a basket in the laundry room from 1986 😂 but it's held up! The mugs, the table, the collies lol. It's warmth and family and too much sugar and card games. I know not everyone gets this and it makes me more thankful than I can say.

#there are always going to be things - my mom has so much stuff thats sentimental that we'll all have to go through someday #at some point this weekend my parents will probably argue and make things awkward #Christmas day there'll be 16-18 of us in this house #but like the boys keep asking when they can make the cookies they make every year with my mom #and then they'll go deliver to the neighbors and for some reason that's more exciting than doing it at our house #sorry just sentimental shit #but i need to do work now
