This is a powerful read written with kindness, which I found particularly moving. Having been raised within this closed, backward tradition, I worry how other queers will respond if they haven’t been indoctrinated from birth in the same way so many evangelical youth are. Read it right to the end, it’s moving, it’s devastating to read as a queer who was once there, and it’s hopeful. Now, more than ever, we need strong, powerful voices in journalism telling our stories. Good reading.

They just started their blog in hopes of creating a safe place for Christians of all orientations. (As always, I'm willing to talk/support everyone as well.)
