Actor Christian Oliver from Speed Racer and his daughters perish in an aircraft accident.

According to investigators, German actor Christian Oliver and his two daughters perished in a Caribbean plane crash.

the actor, who starred in the movies Speed Racer and Valkyrie, departed Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) on Thursday and was travelling to St Lucia.

"Moments after taking off, the aircraft experienced difficulties and plummeted into the ocean," said investigators. along with his daughters Madita, 10, and Annik, 12, the actor, real name Christian Klepser, 51, was also killed.

Robert Sachs, an American, who was the plane's owner and pilot, perished as well.

According to a statement from the Royal SVG Police Force, local divers and fishermen from Paget Farm on the little island of Bequia arrived at the scene to offer assistance.

All four victims were retrieved "from the aircraft/sea" by the SVG Coast Guard, who also responded. See mor..

Post-mortem examinations will be conducted in the upcoming days when they are taken to St. Vincent. in a statement, Klepser's representatives stated that their "thoughts and prayers are with him, his two daughters, and his family. It is still unknown what caused the crash.
