This was an idea I had while the group had to deal with that absolute BASTARD Gin.  Gin tried to blow them up by using some bombs, but Yakuma(being the super mommy that he is) shielded his family, taking most of the damage.  He did the same in the final battle against Gin in volume 20. Yakuma explained away his super-healing abilities as stress(he was in stress for FIVE volumes) and his body acting according to his will, but I SWEAR it was the treasure on his hand that helped him out.  When he healed the group(that were all basically sliced IN HALF), he screamed and they were instantly healed and bandaged. He most likely took in their pain as well. TnT

I wanted to make a comic of poor Uzume reverting to his past personality of fearing everyone for the thought of being hurt or beaten.  Of course, super-mommy Yakuma comes to the rescue!!   Or, 'Sissy', thanks to Utsuho calling Yakuma a sister-in-law... XD   This was inspired by the moment in which Uzume obtained temporary amnesia from a hard strike to his head in volume 19.   It ended when Choza took the killing blow meant for the enemy(in volume 20). Choza knew Uzume would regret it when he came to, so he decided to help him himself.

Choza's father killed his mother. He was an abusive scumbag, so Choza was happy that he was paying for his crime.  However, it was custom in Choza's village to mark the children of criminals, so that everyone will know how much of a monster Choza is, even though he did nothing wrong.  

He was pretty much a walking target for people's hatred until he became able to fight back and his hair grew to cover his eyes.   Pretty messed up, isn't it?  =(

It's in volume 20 of the manga when Uzume got hit in the head and lost his memory for a bit. He reverted back to his old ways of fighting viciously and desiring to kill his enemies.  Choza, knowing he would regret killing someone after his vow of not killing anymore, went to him and took the killing blow meant for the enemy. It was a very emotional scene and I am so pissed that this isn't an anime yet, but that's a rant for another time...   I wanted to make a comic of Yakuma(the doctor AKA Best Mommy) helping him get his memory back a different way. XD

It's more Yakuma fanart!(is anyone surprised, really? XD ) 

I really wanted to do a drawing featuring all Yakuma's nicknames that people give him.  His tanuki friend, Tsukumo, calls him by his first name: Koshiro. ^_^

The baby tanuki, Pochi, calls him mom(Pochi's real mom passed away not long before), because Utsuho calls Yakuma a mother-in-law, since he's so nagging and overprotective.   Uzume calls him Sissy, because he mistakenly heard Utsuho call Yakuma a sister-in-law. Yakuma hated it at first, but now he doesn't care. XD   Choza calls him Doc, because Yakuma is a doctor. It was better than the first nickname he gave him: Sawbones. XD   And of course the nickname that Utsuho calls Yakuma is: Horse. I guess because earlier in the series, Utsuho demanded a piggyback ride(pretty much forced himself on Yakuma's back) above some deep mud that was in their way. The name stuck I suppose. XD   Yakuma likes all of his nicknames except Horse, of course. XD

I feel like the Kanassa(Frieza Planet 419) Aliens in TeamFourStar because as soon as Panel 4 came up in volume 19, I said: "I CAN SEE THE FUTURE!!" :O 

Well, the future of the English release, anyway... XD 

This is my version of Yakuma breaking down because of all the stress he's under. He has to make sure his family stays alive against their powerful foes.   He IS basically the person that's kept the group together. =3  Poor guy just doesn't want his family to die.

This is my personal headcanon of what happens when Choza gets a head injury(while he's still conscious, anyway) and Yakuma needs to fix him up. This is my ship, but you can view it as family love, too. ^u^ 

Choza can't let people see his full face, because of all the trauma he's been dealt.  His father killed his mother, and even though his father paid for it, it was custom in Choza's village to mark the children of criminals, making the poor child a walking target for people's hatred.  He's made progress by getting used to a few people seeing it, but he's still got a ways to go before he shows his face to the world.

I made some Itsuwaribito fanart recently, because even though I’ve finished the series and 10/10 will always read again, THIS SCENE always fucks me over. What’s worse is that I was about to start my shift at work when I first read it. Long story short, Uzume(the shorter one) got hit in the head, making him revert to his old killing ways. Choza, not wanting Uzume to hate himself for breaking his vow of not killing anymore, put himself in front of the enemy, taking the killing blow.
