What happens when you merge the designs of the Ford Mustang and Ford GT? You create the GTT, a Mustang-based mashup.

Zero to 60 Designs will unveil its polarizing half-Mustang, half-GT creation at SEMA next week. The automotive centaur of sorts is capable of producing more than 800 hp, above the 600-plus-hp rating of the GT supercar. It features a supercharger from ProCharger, a Magnaflow dual exhaust, and a special Eibach Pro-Street-S suspension. The company also enlisted the help of SCT Performance to program the GTT for optimal performance. Along with the obvious Ford GT-aping design elements, other visual upgrades include tinted windows, HRE Performance P204 Brushed Titanium Wheels wrapped with Pirelli P-Zero tires, measuring 22x9.5 up front and 22x11 in the rear.

The face behind the GTT is Kenny Pfitzer, the founder of Zero to 60 Designs and a 20-year automotive design veteran responsible for projects like the Ford Bronco Concept. He has also worked as a creative mind for West Coast Customs and Chip Foose before deciding to form his own company in January 2016.

Overhaulin is an American car reality series that originally ran for five seasons between 2004-2008 on TLC, and aired its sixth season premiere in 2012 on Velocity and Discovery - after a lengthy four-year break. While collecting parts for a prior Z/28 Camaro project, Chip Foose stumbled across a rare 302ci engine out of a 1967 Z/28. “This opportunity is allowing me to be creative in a different fashion,” Foose said. Chip Foose is an American automobile designer, artist, and former star of the reality television series, Overahulin. The Round Six Podcast takes you deep inside of SEMA Show 2018 with in-depth first looks at feature vehicles like Fooses 1967 C/28.The artwork will also be used in the show’s marketing material to help reflect each segment of the industry. Chip Foose has been named as the new official artist of the SEMA Show, with the legendary car builder to create original pieces of art that will be woven into signage throughout the Las Vegas Convention Center.

SEMA 2017: Chip Foose’s Deuce running a Blown H&H Flathead

The customer always comes first is always the best policy when it comes to running a successful business, and its an adage that even the best in the business adhere to.

In early 2016 STREET RODDER reported, “For the 2016 SEMA show Chip Foose is building a 1932 Ford five-window coupe that goes totally against the grain of the forward-looking and extremely clean designs Chip has spent the last 30 years becoming known for. Chip told STREET RODDER this car will be a surprise to a lot of people who know him for a particular style of car because so much effort is being made to bring it back to its original, pristine, stock form, and then hot-rod it like back in the day. Imagine what a brand-new 1932 Ford coupe would look like only days after it rolled off the showroom floor and into a state-of-the-art, old-time speed shop, and that’s the car Chip is currently building.

And everything was on track for Chip’s ’32 to make it to SEMA for 2016 and then the Huntington Beach, California shop became beyond busy. There was the prototype build of the Brookville ’32 Ford Phanton for its 2016 SEMA debut and Wes Rydell’s Madam X had to be there, plus a few more commitments, so the little ’32 Ford coupe was moved to the back burner, but the key elements were already in place.

One of the first things Chip undertook to restore the ’32 early last year was getting the engine build underway. Chip ground and smoothed the flathead’s block `a la Art Chrisman and then personally delivered it to H&H Flatheads in La Crescenta, California. As it happened H&H’s owner Mike Hermann had Chip’s engine on a test stand while we were visiting H&H, so we got a chance to hear the SCoT-blown Flattie run.
