Luo Shu is such a strong woman. She works so hard to change her fate, even though she encounters some difficulties along the way.

We really really need more characters like that.

This drama does not pull its punches.

For once, for once we have a "courtesan" FL who has to confront being made to trade her body. Yes, she ultimately avoids it (the whole story is driven by the fact that she agrees to be the inspector's mole in exchange for his getting her her freedom before she's made to sell her virginity) but the fact that the drama goes there, that this is an issue and a threat, none of that "I just dance heehee haha" nonsense - I love that.
