I noticed another parallel to the Children's Adventure in the latest WBN episode, and I decided to put far too much effort into making it everybody else's problem.

The new Children's Adventure interlude : how cute, Eursulon thinks the goldfish are fish or pure gold! How whimsical! Suvi catches a koi and Eursulon names it Ame! Adorable!

I'm gonna draw all the babies but I had to draw Suvi as a kid first! A Black girl with big eyes and flowers in her hair who has to be good just really resonates with me

i'm extremely late to worlds beyond number but i'm just now nearing the end of the children's adventure and it's so great how committed to being friends and developing their relationships and stories all the players are. i mean i knew they were amazing but this is really next level. so bittersweet and touching already.

I recently started re-listening to the "Children's Adventure" episodes from WBN to relax and fall asleep at night. Here's what I've found.

Pro: Brennan's soft narration and Taylor's soundtrack are incredibly soothing, like sleeping beside a crackling fire...

Con: Being jolted wide awake an hour later by Aabria and Erika screaming at something that Brennan's just narrated

i'm working on writing something and just re-reading parts of the transcript of the last ep of the children's adventure has me misty-eyed 🥺

Listening to multiple DnD Podcasts is such a jarring experience from one to the next. One moment you're exploring the woods in childlike wonder, next you're learning the faction of princesses are a murder-suicide cult, then you meet up with your childhood bestie only to find they and your grandmother have a Miyazaki curse, then the DisneyParks blogger is telegraphing that they are a hostage while someone in the background whimpers unintelligibly

Working on the actual 'The Wizard the Witch and the Wild One" animation I've been intending to make(the other one was just a fun thing I noticed and decided to animate as well). This one will be a full scene. I may want to make Ame's nest a bit messier before I actually finalize the video.

I don't know how long it'll take, it may be a couple weeks, it might be just one. Hard to say.
