“Respect isn’t given, it’s earned” Is such a dumb fucking idea considering if we go off that principle nobody has earned your respect when you first meet them, but society get’s upset if you act on that, despite using the same saying to force people to put up with unfair treatment from their supposed “superiors” who in all honesty probably haven’t done anything to deserve respect any more than anyone else.
