A quick and easy plotting guide
My muse(s): Rosselyn Ravenblade
Do I know your muse(s): yes | no | a little | tell me about your muse

Pre-established relationships? yes | no | depends on the relationship
Possible relationships: friends | classmate | co-worker | roommate | family, real or adopted | dating or blind date | married | friends with benefits | unrequited love | lending a hand | teacher - student | rivals | allies | partner-in-crime | enemies | protecter - guarded | business partners | spy - infiltrated | manipulator - manipulated | star-crossed | first meeting | other
I’m in the mood for: fluff | angst | horror | romance | humor | crime | hurt / comfort | action | supernatural | slice of life | crack | dark threads | light threads | any genre | multi-para | shorter para | one-line | any length | plotted threads | unplotted threads | other
Feel free to: message me ooc | message me ic | tell me your ideas | write a starter | answer one of my opens | send a meme | reblog this with your preferences - let’s find common interests!
I’m pretty open with seeing Rosselyn interact with a variety of characters! Im pretty flexible, but I prefer plots and character relationships to grow on their own from interaction with people I haven't written with before. I learn best about characters when I personally write with them.
I am open to pre-established relationships on a very basic level, such as a character knowing someone previously from somewhere to help us jump start on writing together. The one thing I would like to keep in mind here is that I can be slow on responding to things, and I prefer only writing on one thread at a time between Rp partners, if we have multiple characters we would like to introduce.
Thanks for the interest, @risrielthron.!

Selise entered her office at dawn. The time granted her a few hours of solitude before employees or patients were expected; nothing like insomnia to help get more work done. She paused by Cherysa’s desk and deposited a crisply wrapped gift box on top of the stack of medical books. No brilliant ideas had miraculously come to her, so she opted for Risri’s suggestion of high end embroidery threads. The young woman did a good job holding down the fort, or so she had been told.
A chill from walking the streets lingered with her, so she drew her coat around herself before taking a seat at her desk. Unlocking the side drawer, she pulled free the appointment book and stack of correspondence that had been filed for her in her absence. The next two weeks were booked solid. Among the regulars were a few names she didn’t recognize, written in Cherysa’s hand. Selise set the book aside.
A quick thumb through the stack of letters had her separating out the handwriting and return addresses she recognized to a pile on the far side of her desk. Those that were unfamiliar were the ones she opened and read through. Among the new herbalism and alchemy vendors asking for meetings was a request for a medical speaker, the topic to be presented was something she wasn’t at all interested in, and the most recent bill for the supplies Chery ordered for the Stormwind refugee camp. Nothing out of the ordinary. She tapped a finger against the edge of the desk and then pulled her book and the unopened stack of letters front and center.

Turnabout is fairplay but let's shake it up a little: 📷 for @cherysaamberstill - Bonnie Wright (older not the child version) and if you really want to chat about Risri - Erica Cerra
The Mistress has sent out her contacts to seek ‘potential business partners’. Ones who could be assimilated to the Collective’s coffers. Such a directive found her now in holding of several photos, and she was the first. ‘Cherysa Amberstill, seamstress, sister to Jazi’. All things come full circle. Her sister was too far our of reach, but this one? Perhaps not..
This next face, she knew. Claimed outside one of many formal gatherings the reporter was forced to prattle to in efforts to keep her paper to task. Dedicated, at the least. She was beginning to stir as a nuisance, but even so, her usefulness could be denied. Her left hand stood ready on the order to see her to an unfortunate accident. But for now, she was still an asset if vicariously.

Parade in Stormwind Spreads Winter’s Veil Cheer
By Cherysa Amberstill
In an effort to spread a little Winter’s Veil Cheer a group of druids and Worgen gathered and presented a colorful display of Great Father Winter and his sleigh. The group traveled from Goldshire into Stormwind where they wished all in earshot a Merry Winter’s Veil!

In honor of Battle for Azeroth, I thought this was appropriate. (It was mostly Lled and Percy that I pictured then the others sort of happened, Whoops!)

Elwynn Troubles: Kobolds, Murlocs and Gnolls
Chery took a sip from her tea as she flipped the page to continue her namesake’s journey. It was dated several days later but continued from the first entry. The entry seemed to be several pages long and a photograph was tucked within the pages.
We left in the wee hours of the morning. Dawn had barely greeted Northshire Abbey as we started down the road into Elwynn towards Goldshire. Now many stories float around the kingdoms about the crossroad town. So many travelers make their way to this bustling town. We found ourselves greeted by the locals with cheerful countenances. Even more so when later we found ourselves having to stay for more than the delivery of the message.
But that leads to my writing here. It has been a busy few days. First, our missive delivered to the town marshal ended up with his recruiting my merry band to further aid throughout Elwynn. It seemed the semi-intelligent creatures of the forests were making themselves more than a pest and causing trouble throughout the area.
One of our first tasks, however, was to visit two of the more prosperous farms to discover why shipments to Goldshire were delayed. It seemed a bit beneath our attention but the Marshal was at his wits ends trying to communicate with the two. Our group set out to Stonefield Farm, where we discovered the trouble was related to a small feud between the two families. After some back and forth between Stonefield and Maclure Vineyards, our noblewoman was able to get the two talking, albeit grudgingly, and deliveries rescheduled to start the next day.
Upon our return to Goldshire that afternoon, we were then sent on a more arduous journey. Rumors of Kolbolds infesting several of Elwynn’s mines were needing to be confirmed. The Marshal did not want to invest troops to rout the creatures unless it was true and so our task was set. Visit each of the mines and scout out which were actually infested. As a group we decided to set out the next morning and so we set about securing rooms at the inn for the four of us. The tavern room that evening proved to be eye opening and lent truth to some of the stories I had heard about Goldshire.
Once again daybreak saw us traversing through the woods of Elwynn. It took us several hours to visit each of the mines but a disturbing fact remained. In each instance the area was overrun by kobolds. It was a task to keep the swordsman from rushing in to clear them by himself. But we managed to keep to our mission and only had to dispatch a few of the creatures who saw the group investigating.
The Marshal was not happy with our report but he dispatched missives to his commanders to see the kobolds removed from the mines. We thought our tasks complete and were about to head our seperate way when a merchant came to the Marshal to complain about murlocs attacking travelers just up the road from the town. The Marshal looked distraught over his thinning supply of troops and gave us a pleading look. And so we set out once more to investigate and make the road safe for travel once more.
Our swordsman and paladin were able to test their fighting prowess against the wily creatures soon enough. They were riled up as murlocs get at times. Long have the fishy creatures plagued Elwynn’s water ways. But this time they seemed especially angry. Their cries could be heard way before found them. Several murlocs were harassing another caravan headed toward Redridge Mountains. We made quick work of the pests but were left wondering why they had ventured away from their lake homes. We followed a trail of puddles back to the lake to find what was once their village torn apart. Evidence of locals trying to rid the area of the murlocs could be seen all around. We decided to report the action to the Marshal though we hated to add to his burden of protecting Elwynn.
Our report to the Marshal was met with exasperation, he asked us to deliver a message out to Westbrook Garrison to request a unit of troops to come help with this new issue. All of us agreed, even the noblewoman who wished to head to Westfall after. The late afternoon was mild and despite the grim reason for our travel we were in good spirits. Having bonded over our adventures thus far, we joked playfully with each other. Perhaps it was this reason that we were easily ambushed by men in red bandanas. It seemed word had spread of our rout of the bandit captain and they wanted revenge. It was a tough fight but we were able to subdue all of the criminals. With our prisoners in tow, we finished our journey to the Garrison, more wary of the road.
Turning over our captives to a surprised commander along with the request from the Marshal, we asked for accommodation for the evening not wanting to return to Goldshire in the dark. The Light works in mysterious ways. Our being at the Garrison proved to be a boon to the commander in charge.
With our prowess in capturing the bandits, he asked if we could help with capturing a Gnoll leader. It seemed a band of gnolls had taken over the woods near the Garrison and with the request for more soldiers to Goldshire the commander feared they would be ill prepared for an attack by the creatures. We agreed to assist and set out with some soldiers from the Garrison. We were soon met with heavy resistance from the gnolls. They were most aggressive and worked in unison to attack our small force. We cleared camp after camp as we progressed deeper into the woods. At last we came upon what could only be called a command camp. There we fought hard against several waves before we were able to capture the leader as he attempted to run away.
Victory achieved we returned to the garrison with our prisoner and weary troops. We were met with a missive from the Marshal to return to Goldshire and once again we traversed the road back to town. Happily it was uneventful and returned to receive a commendation, a request to journey to Sentinel Hill to aid the commander there, and a feast in our honor. So here I write before we leave once more in the morning. Perhaps we need a name for this band of misfits.
Tucked in between the pages of the entry was a worn and faded photograph.

I haven’t met someone yet that I would want to spend my life with.” ► Are you happy ➔ “Oh yes! I am very happy.” the hand went up to push back a lock of hair, “I mean life is good, I have a good job, I have a lovely niece, yes I’m happy.” as if she was trying to convince herself. ► Are you angry? ➔ “Rarely. My sister, she gets angry easily. But I’m the calm one.” ► Are your parents still married ➔ The excitement fell from the redhead’s face and she looked away. “They are dead.” The gaze came back to see the interviewer looking acceptably sorry.

I went to see Jazi and Tess. Lots of hugs.” ► Have you ever had a secret admirer? ➔ "Maybe? In school someone used to leave me flowers outside my house. I don’t know who it was, but it stopped before I went to the Abbey.” ► Have you ever broken your own heart? ➔ "Broke my own heart? Is that possible?”

I love my niece.” She dropped to a conspiratorial whisper, “I even love my sister’s husband Dunn.” ► Would you say you have a “messed up life”? ➔ “No, thankfully not.” ► Have you ever ran away from home? ➔ “No, I would never.” ► Have you ever gotten kicked out ?➔ "I am a good girl, why would I get kicked out?”

31 Days of May - Day 3 & 4
Days 1-10: Motivation & Behaviour
What does your character need?
What are your character’s recurring feelings?
Her needs are simple, though she might not admit to all of them:
to learn
to find comfort
to socialize
to be loved
Her desire to learn, stems from childhood. Right now she’s meeting that need by apprenticing with Selise. Her need to socialize has her going to the pubs to eat rather than staying home. Comfort is in the little things she has around her apartment that remind her of her family. Her heart is open, and for the most part she knows she is loved by her sister. She wants to find a love like her parents and Jazi with Dunn.
Her usual state is happy, though sometimes doubt and sadness creep in. But the cheerful demeanor is her most recurring feeling. She believes she is capable and smart enough to handle what Selise has thrown at her to learn. Satisfaction also is a recurring theme as she retains the knowledge she’s been studying.

31 Days of May - Day 1
Days 1-10: Motivation & Behaviour
What does your character think they want?
“AAGH!” followed by the sound of a book slamming against the wall broke the silence of the afternoon. “It’s too hard. All these pieces and parts.”
Cherysa pouted on the floor of her apartment surrounded by books and notes. She’d been trying to test herself on the names of bones and missed more than half. Moments passed as she huffed to herself.
Finally, a long sigh was let out and the red-head moved across the room to retrieve the book she’d tossed. Checking that it was still intact, she set it back in the pile and stretched tall.
Moving to her small kitchen, she started making coffee. While the water was boiling, Chery pulled the makings for a sandwich from her cabinets. Soon she was carrying her plate and mug of coffee back to the space on the floor. With a sigh, she sat back among the papers and books. A sip from her mug had her pulling her notes closer. A bite of the sandwich and she was reviewing the bones once more.
She wanted to do this, she’d told Selise because she wanted to give back. And she did. But she wanted to not be helpless, too.
