There is something delicious about Chef Beau Mac's Ham and Jam Sliders. They are made with savory ham and beef patties and a sweet and sour raspberry jam and Dijon mustard sauce. You can have these sliders at any party or just eat them as a tasty snack.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 1/2 lb ground ham. 1/4 cup raspberry jam. 1/4 cup Dijon mustard. 1/4 cup mayonnaise. 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese. 12 slider buns. Salt and pepper to taste. Lettuce leaves optional. Tomato slices optional. Pickles optional.
Instructions: In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef and ground ham. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Form the mixture into 12 small patties. Preheat your grill or stovetop griddle over medium-high heat. Grill the patties for about 3-4 minutes per side or until they reach your desired level of doneness. While the patties are cooking, prepare the sauce by mixing the raspberry jam, Dijon mustard, and mayonnaise in a small bowl. Set aside. During the last minute of grilling, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and cover with a lid to melt the cheese. Slice the slider buns in half and lightly toast them on the grill or in a toaster oven. To assemble the sliders, spread the jam-mustard-mayo sauce on the bottom half of each bun. Place a cooked patty on top of the sauce, and add optional lettuce, tomato slices, and pickles if desired. Top with the other half of the bun. Serve Chef Beau Mac's Ham and Jam Sliders hot, and enjoy!
