I have a headache that I think is caused by lack of caffeine and/or lack of food, and I have told myself that I can get a spicy chimkin sando for lunch today, but that requires getting out from under the cat and putting clothes on… much like my other plans of “reading a book” and “making more cookies (and going to the grocery store for ingredients)” and “playing video games” and “get a chai from Dutch bros” do too

Why can’t I just order my sando online and magically teleport it here while it’s still hot and tasty

I don’t understand why stories set in the far future are like “and here we have the food part of our worldbuilding where everyone eats Calorie Packets that you squeeze out of tubes and nothing else because it has every possible nutrient needed for human survival despite being grey paste” because it’s selling the idea that advances in technology would kneecap human creativity and desire for unique and impactful sensations when it would almost certainly be the opposite do you know. How wild and crazy future fast food could get. Most of the burgers we have NOWADAYS are so complicated and flavor-packed that it makes me feel sick to imagine eating them

hi shelly ty for the ask! cheese fountain is a future instalment in my victorious-inspired series! it's based on this one victorious episode where there's a cheese fountain, hence the file name lol. it'll introduce a relationship between two characters, and two others will be jealous because of them… i know who the characters are lol but it's super spoilery so i'm being cryptic. here's a cheesy snippet:

"A fountain." Alex reaches out as if he wants to poke it, but pulls his hand back at the last second. "Of cheese." "Yep." Reggie grins. "It's like fondue, but then cooler." "That can't be sanitary," Alex mutters. Luke offers him a piece of bread on a stick. It's covered in thick yellow cheese. Julie has to admit it doesn't look all that appetizing, but it smells amazing. She's not entirely sure why there's a cheese fountain at a school dance, but she's not complaining. At her previous school, they had to share three bowls of crisps with hundreds of students. This is certainly an improvement.
