do you know if there are any homestuck fangames? i know there are fancomics

There are some Homestuck fangames you can find through here. These include mods or rom hacks for games like Gmod, Minecraft, and more. Other ones I recommend would be Befriendus, Homestuck Strife Project, Fantroll Creator, The Genesis Project that's available on Steam, A young man stands in his bedroom, and Cheatstuck. If you can host your own server, then give it a try for Sburb Online. There's also romhacks like Sburbmon or Hyper Sburb World. For Friday Night Funkin fans, here's Sunday Night Stridin', unfinished Homestuck mod from BBPanzu, and Sburban Showtime. If you know any fangames that need attention or are working on it, let me know.

I know you played Hollow Knight and everyone played deltarune so I can't give automatic easy answers.

If you're talking "games I can buy", Disco Elysium is something I've been having fun with, and everyone generally (rightly) agrees that it's GotY material. You can also become one of an elite class of people by reading the last sentence of my description and playing every Purrfect Apawcalypse game right now immediately go go go.

As far as "games I don't have to buy because they are free". Cheatstuck is a Homestuck fanventure in RPG form, and I had a lot of fun playing it. I also had fun playing Abdogtion until it ripped my heart out. And Halloween has passed but if you haven't played it yet, Gnarled Hag is a very short but well-constructed horror experience. Also I looked through my itch.io list of saved games to refresh myself and remembered that 6 Feet Under and Deepest Sword (now on Steam!) are fun platforming games.

If you're looking for something specific I can provide more aid but these are what come off the top of my head when asked "you hear about video games".

oh hey, if you end up downloading that Cheatstuck game and haven't already played through it, if you've got a decent enough android phone you could try playing it on Joiplay, an RPG maker emulator.

Been checking out RPGMAKER Homestuck fangames and just finished my playthrough of @cheatstuck-official's act 1, which was pretty well put together and already works as a short game on its own.

So sharing some screenshots I took (mostly of the troll section, though the game starts you off with introducing the humans a good chunk is spent on Alternia and is where the rpg elements start before you get into sburb):

Yes Sans Undertale is in your party

Yes that is a key plot point and not (just) for the memes

Yes it somehow still works
