Special Delivery: An Encounter Unlike Any Other
Here is the short story I wrote in conjunction with my music instrumental inspired by the raffle prized I received from @KennyNaga on twitter. Naga!Kenny belongs to @ask-nagakennyâ Fuzz belongs to me @fuzzrawmuseâ
Okay, where do I begin?...Oh right! Introductions
My name is Fuzz. I am a wolf-feline hybrid. A musician (well, a guitar noise-generator more so) and troublemaker based in northeast of the grand olâ US-of-A.Â
I had decided to try to get a cheap holiday flight to the mid-west by mailing myself from the east coast in a wooden crate and packing peanuts. Turns out you get what you pay for. The plane carrying postage was this old cargo unit from a bygone era scooped up for pennies on the on dollar. The vessel was on the brink of falling apart in mid-flight, and it did⊠the cargo hatch snapped, door popped open and I was falling out of the sky right. Two thoughts popped into my head:Â
welp, so much for the free trip to ChicagoÂ
andÂ
AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!Â
The longer in free fall my heart sank further. Had my eyes closed for the whole eternity as I was bracing for impact, until WHOMP! CRACK! BWOSH! THUD! ââŠwait, Iâm still alive?â Despite being rattled around and scratched up, I had survived the crash landing.  Dazed and bemused, I pried open the box and found myself in some tropical jungle area alone only with my trusty guitar and cheap flip phone with a cracked display. âIâm not going to last long out here, especially now that Iâve brought attention myself to any potential predatorsâ little did I know that would be the exact thing that would happen, but by what?Â
I left the rubble behind, anxiously to find reception to make a distress call so wouldnât get eaten alive. After wandering aimless for hours (Iâd lost count after the first), I couldnât for the life of me find signal. Not good. Instead, I found a skyscraper-like tree with an enormous trunk and innumerable array of branches. With my feet nearly about to fall off, I decided I needed to take a breather. Hopelessness was setting in:Â
How am I going to get outta here?...Â
Too tired to move my legs and on the verge of nervous breakdown. I sat at the base of the big tree, guitar in my hands, plucking away at the strings just trying to calm my nerves. Struggling to find the right notes just to ease the growing tension, knowing nightfall was fast approaching and that I was in unfamiliar zone.Â
I was so engrossed in the music that I didnât realize that I was sending vibrations through the tree all the way to the top⊠then suddenly I heard a deep male voice from above me.Â
âWell, I didnât know there would be a concert this eveningâÂ
I jolted up from the based. âW-who said that?!â I was not alone as I thought⊠âL-lookâ I stammered, âI-I-I wasnât trying to cause a racket, I just made a f-few wrong turns and just-âÂ
âRacket? What you were playing sounded pretty good to meâ The voice interjected.Â
âwait, really?â
Who was this? It sounded like some aristocratic I wouldâve run into down in Georgia, but there was a warm, welcoming quality when he spoke that made me feel more at ease. For all Iâve known, this guy could be trying to sell me snake oil out in the jungle.Â
âWould love to have up here to hear more your musssic~âÂ
Weird, that sounded like hissi-
Before I could finish that thought, a long snake tail had descended from the tree and wrapped firmly around my waist.
âw-WOaH!!â barely keep hold of my six-string as I was hoisted up into the tree. The anxiety creeping back in. Oh, dear Neptune, what have I gotten myself into? âŠAnd yet the ascent was not forceful, whatever had abducted me had me secure in its coils and was lifting me steadily without rapid momentum.  I couldnât tell if this was an elaborate trap from a mastermind predator or a benevolent invitation from an eccentric host. Amid the inner turmoil of uncertainty, the higher I was lifted I was able to see sunset over the whole tropical jungle. For a moment, it was serine and peacefulâŠ
Then I was about to see who or what had plucked me from the jungle floor as I was brought through the foliage up onto the thickest branch. There to greet me was something I couldnât have imagine being realâŠÂ
âApologies for not properly introducing myselfâ
One half a broad muscular human with long flowing copper locks, pronounced nose and chin. The other, gigantic serpent.Â
âMy name is Kennyâ the naga said while gently setting me down onto the tree branch.Â
âF-Fuzzâ I stammered, in awe and âdear in headlightâ terror âmy n-name is Fuzz.â
âWell nice to meet you face to faceâ Kenny said with a friendly smile as he extended his arm out to shake my hand.Â
âSo what brings you here?â he asked as I shook his hand.
âOh um, well IâŠâ So I told the naga how I ended up here. He listened with interest as I detailed the series of events, made me feel less anxious the more I talked.            Â
âGood heavens!â Kenny exclaimed âSo that was the loud crash I heard earlier today. That seems like lot of effort for a not-so pleasant trip, hope you arenât too hurt.â Most of my times in peril, people would assume the worst of me and actively avoid me. I would have to shrug it off and move on. So, it was really weird that to hear genuine concern from a creature that dwarfs me in size, not knowing for certain if would become his next meal.Â
âYeah,â I sheepishly replied trying to play it off my turbulent journey, âI have been through worse, all in the name of rock nâ roll, haha.âÂ
As I dryly laughed, I felt the adrenaline wore off, and I was beginning to feel the soreness all over my body.Â
âYou must be exhausted after such a long day,â Kenny remarked as he saw me rubbing my neck.Â
âI mean,-â I tried to interject but I had to relent ââŠyeah, itâs been kinda of stressful day to put it lightly.â
âPerhaps I could help alleviate you stressssss, Fuzz?â He proposed
âH-how?â I asked nervously trying to save face, not knowing what was to happen next.
âAre you some kind of hypnotist?â I asked half-jokingly. I saw a mischievous grin form across Kennyâs expression âWellâŠâ he said âI have somewhat of an expertise when it comes to hypnosisâ
I felt the blood drain from my face, I knew it. I was done for. I was going to be put under and swallowed whole. âWell itâs b-been a niiiiice visit,â I said, shakily getting up from the branch âbut I really must go.â As I tried to make my escape, I glanced down realizing that I was up a good a hundred feet from the ground. Vertigo nearly made me fall off, so I looked back up to see Kenny still deviously smiling back at me. This I exactly where this naga wanted me for easy picking. I closed my eyes in fear with my back against the tree.
âW-w-wait!â I pleaded, with my eyes shut firmly holding onto my guitar for dear life, âdonât eat me, please! Iâm just fur and bones.âÂ
I was bracing for the strike⊠nothing happened. There was a pause, then a deep chuckle from Kenny
âEat you?â he said, âIâm not going to do that, I wouldnât get to hear your music again.â
âThen what are you going to do with me?â I asked tensely.Â
âI just want to help,â Kenny said tenderly, as he gently took the guitar out of my hands. Now with my arms covering my eyes still unsure of what was going to happen. I felt his hands caress my face, which slightly surprised me but strangely didnât oppose. Lord what is coming over me?
âYou deserve to get some resssssstâ he said into my ear, sending shivers up my spine.
 âHow s-s-so?â I stuttered.
âLet me look at youâ Kennyâs voice drenched in honey âso you can sssee what I have to offer.â
Cautiously, I lowered my arms and slowly opened my right eye to see Kenny right in front of me, but now his eyes were now blooming rings of blue, yellow, orange, green, blue, yellow, orange, green, blue, yellow⊠I was caught in his gaze each passing second. Unsure of what was exactly happening, I felt each color washing over my worried mind with a calming warmth and coolness. As the rings grew stronger in my head (blue, yellow, orange, greenâŠ) the tension in my neck and shoulders began to wane. I start to feel something at my legs. Something slowly wrapping around my body steadily coiling from up my waist to my chest. Kenny was forming rings of colors in my head and rings of coils of his long tail around my body.Â
âLooks like youâre starting to ssssee,â his voice echoing a deep tranquility into me, âhowâs about we get both eyes, if you pleassssse.â
At this point, I slightly dazed smile forming along the edges of my face.  I was a mumbling, repeating back a few odd words, syllables, noises back whilst in my trance-like state. Feeling his coils encapsulate my body            âhngg, mmh,â I replied âKe-Kenny, it feels so good, so goââ before I could finish, Kennethâs tail completed wrapping around my collarbone and easing over the last trace of my neck. Giving one last tender squeeze around my whole body, opening my left eye exposing it to the rest of Kennyâs hypnotic gaze, sending my mind into intense bliss. With both eyes reflecting the ever-changing colors of Kennyâs and his scaley tender touch, I had succumbed to his sensual embrace over my whole being. He spoke gently into my ear as my eyes slowly began to shut
 âSsssee you in the morningâŠâ
I awoke to a calm morning atop in the jungle, snug in coil cocoon. It was the best sleep I had in a while.Â
âAh, good morning, Fuzzâ Kenny said, âdid you sleep well?âÂ
âMhmm?â I sleepily hummed âyou could say that.â
He and I both chuckled, then Kenny offered to fetch some fruit for breakfast before. I happily accepted as I stretched my arms from out of his coils to go and offered to help Kenny. Â As we went scrounging, Kenny proposed to drop me off by a jungle expedition he saw just north of here to get me back home
âYou know,â I replied âI wouldnât mind staying for another day. After all, I still owe you a proper concert for the hospitality you gaveâ
Kenny smiled âThat can be arranged~â he said as he gave a warm grin back to me.Â
I wouldâve stayed longer, but I had to get back to my stomping grounds. I recorded as much of music I remember hearing during that fateful day, itâs still a little blurry in details, but the feelings I had are all there.Â
One day Iâll have to make a return trip to this jungle, minus the crash landing. Iâm sure Iâd be able to find Kenny again, I know just what to play to get his attention. If he doesnât mind me as a repeat guest. Somehow, I think thatâs exactly what he wants⊠Â

Just saw your post abt mike in the south and I'm excited bc that's where I live and there's not a lot of fics there so thanks for that first and foremost <3
Secondly, I wanted to give you some little ideas of places he he could do when he's there(if he has money/none
(also I live in NC and interact with the SC, GA, and FL area, tho I haven't been to Atlanta yet.)
Places to go
-Savannah Georgia is one of the most beautiful places in the south I've ever been, it has sad history but some of the buildings there are hundreds of years old! Huge tourist attraction and
There are a lot of cool old towns and shops in NC that I've seen, I live close to an old town center that has a lot of cool shops that would be fun to browse with friends or alone.
of course there are the big attractions like Carowinds, Nascar, Disney etc. In this area tho Im having a hard time imagining he gets around to those, plus they are just more fun with friends.
Sports are cool too, I love the small baseball stadiums that you can hang out at, and tickets are usually pretty cheap in my area.
Additions
Idk if you live in this area too, (if so, hi fellow southerner, đ) but I figured I would drop some of the popular hotels/motels in the area to aid research if you wanted to do that.
-holiday inn
-hilton
-marriot(I'm pretty sure this might just be popular in NC tho, idk I asked around people said this one a lot)
I'm really excited to read your fic and I hope you don't mind this ask đ
just wanted to offer up some info Incase you wanted/needed it. Feel free to ignore.
Anon, this was so sweet so thank you a billion for that, I meant to respond earlier but something you said gave me an idea and I had to go write it down, thanks for helping already & your info is definitely appreciated lmao <3
I hope to have a first chapter up soon, I donât know exactly how long theyâre going to be, but if itâs on the longer side, it might be a bit more of a wait. Just whatever works, I guess.
Anyway, I hope itâs fun to read and meets expectations! Itâs definitely fun to write :)

Seven Safety & Energy Efficiency Tips for Trick or Treaters Visiting Your Home
New Post has been published on https://www.georgiagassavings.com/blog/seven-safety-energy-efficiency-tips-for-trick-or-treaters-visiting-your-home/
Seven Safety & Energy Efficiency Tips for Trick or Treaters Visiting Your Home
Safe and Energy Efficient Halloween Decorating Tips
Worried about summoning forth an expensive energy bill from your spooky Halloween decorations? Our tips help keep your home display safe for trick or treaters and energy efficient for your pocketbook..
Halloween decorations can be one of the most fun things about fall. Whether you lean towards giant skeletons and jump scares or cutesy pumpkins and fall flowers, there are important tips to follow to keep the fun safe. This is especially true if you welcome trick or treaters to the house on the 31st. For all our Georgia gas customers, we have some great energy efficiency tips, too. Donât worry, you donât have to go to the graveyard to dig up these tips; weâve done all the work for you.
3 Best Safety Tips for Your Spooky Decorations
Just like shopping for Georgia gas companies, it always pays to be careful. If you go all out with spooky decorations, thereâs a chance you get so caught up in the fun, you forget about some essential safety concerns. Letâs run down three ways to keep things safe for you and the trick or treaters.
Lights. Add some lights to your pathway. This helps trick or treaters easily see their way. Plus, with the days growing shorter, this keeps you safer, too. Bonus tip: if you take the kids out for Halloween, bring a couple flashlights!
Reflective tape. This is a great tool to bring some extra attention to steps along your pathway, up to your door, and even for uneven cracks along the driveway and elsewhere. Bonus tip: stick some reflective tape to the back of jackets, costumes, and candy buckets for extra visibility.
Outdoor extension cords. If your decorations rely on electricity, make sure you only use extension cords rated for outdoor use. Also, follow instructions to be sure you donât plug too much into one cord. Finally, never run cords across pathways where they become a tripping hazard.
4 Best Energy Efficiency Tricks for Halloween Decorations
In addition to being safe with your spooky outdoor dĂ©cor, letâs also save you a bit of money!
Go solar. Pathway luminaries and other outdoor decorations are available with solar power so you wonât be consuming any extra electricity and running up your energy bills.
LED. Upgrade your fun holiday lights and regular outdoor lightbulbs with LEDs. Energy Star products can be up to 75% more efficient and last 25 times longer than incandescent bulbs, according to the Department of Energy.
Timers. Anything you plug in should also have a timer, so it isnât running longer than is practical. If you donât want to spend money on timers, set alarms on your phone to remind yourself to turn decorations on and off.
Heat. Even if youâre expecting a chilly Halloween night, donât blast the heat. Because youâre opening the door frequently, youâll be wasting a lot of energy. Instead, turn the heat down, choose a cozy costume, and fully close your door between trick or treaters. Up the efficiency with new weather stripping around the front door!
(Trick or) Treat Yourself to a Cheap Gas Rate
In addition to the efficiency tips above, a great way to lower energy costs is with a new gas plan. Rates are cheap right now! Furthermore, snagging a sweet natural gas plan with a fixed rate today sets you up to shop in the fall shoulder months for years to come. Shop and compare plans now at https://www.georgiagassavings.com. Â

Looking for Affordable Limo Services in Atlanta Georgia?
Limousine services are frequently thought of as being expensive and opulent. Nonetheless, it is possible to locate affordable limo services in atlanta ga without compromising on quality. It takes some planning and investigation to locate inexpensive limo services. To save money, shop around, reserve in advance, select the best vehicle, and get recommendations. Think about hiring a local service and bargaining with the limousine company, too. By keeping these pointers in mind, you can locate a trustworthy and affordable atlanta georgia limo service that meets your needs and budget. Visit our website today to book Limo services at the best prices.
These pointers will assist you in locating affordable limo services in Atlanta GA:
1. Compare Prices: Compare costs as a starting point for locating cheap limo providers. Compare the costs charged by several limo services in your neighbourhood. Search for businesses that provide competitive pricing as well as exclusive offers or discounts.
2. Book in Advance: You can save money by making your limo service reservations in advance. For early reservations, several limo companies provide discounts. Also, making a reservation in advance allows you more opportunities to shop around and discover the cheapest price.
3. Avoid Peak Seasons and Times: Holidays and weekends often have higher prices because they are peak times. Try to steer clear of scheduling a limo during these periods. Alternatively, think about making reservations on weekdays or during the shoulder season.
4. Choose the Right Vehicle: The cost of the limo service may vary depending on the type of car you select. An extended limousine will cost more than a saloon because it is bigger and has more features. Consider getting a smaller vehicle to save money if you don't need a big one.
5. Ask for Recommendations: Ask your friends, family, and co-workers for referrals. They might be aware of a trustworthy and reasonably priced limo service in your neighbourhood. To obtain a sense of the level of service offered by various limo companies, you may also read internet reviews and testimonials.
6. Negotiate: Negotiate with the limo business without hesitation. If you enquire, they could be ready to give you a discount or a unique package. Also, be specific about your preferences and financial constraints. They might be able to offer solutions that are within your price range.
7. Use a Local Limo Service: You may be able to save money by hiring a nearby limo service. Because local businesses frequently have smaller overhead expenses than larger ones, customers may pay less for goods and services.
