Charmy's Army - The Comic Strip By Davy Jones 

Today’s comic of the day is a series by the name of Charmy’s Army. The series was created by Davy Jones and follows a troop of army ants and a monkey. Charmy’s Army follows characters Charmen “Charmy” Packy, who is the leader of his group with a dynamic personality. Francine “Frenchy” French the lovable airhead with  a twisted and vivid imagination. Weaver Wood who is the most level-headed out of the group. And then there is Flimp the Chimp, who, as the name the suggests, is a monkey in an army platoon full of ants.

 Reading the series as well as the character bios one thing is clear, Davy Jones has a lot of respect for classic comic strips such as Garfield and Calvin And Hobbes. I also wouldn’t be surprised at all to find out that Davy Jones served in the military at some point in his life. He shows a lot of respect towards the army while at the same time maintaining a light-hearted feel although out the series. 

Davy Jones is also a really yak anger artist and sells parody covers featuring the cast of Charmy’s Army So if you, want to purchase some of his artwork check out his store!
