I like creative mind projects. This became one of them.
Alright let’s set the basics of this ‘show’. The Xavier Institute, situated in Salem, Westchester, is run by Charles Xavier. A professor, doctor, and world renowned author and scientist. However he possesses a secret, a discovery he made on his travels abroad: mutants. He has returned home and opened a school for those said mutants, and we follow his ‘first class’.
Our main characters, at least for season one, would be the og five. Scott, Jean, Warren, Bobby, and Hank. And guess what? The school actually is a school. They take classes taught by Charles, and do superhero stuff on the side. Here is their everyday clothes:
Tumblr media
Think the vibes of X-men Evolution. The show would focus on the dual life of the kids, but would also focus on them being kids. The trouble they get into, the antics they get up to. The drama that comes with being a teenager. Additional clothes(on colder days)
Tumblr media
So what is everyone’s backstory?
Scott Summers Scott has a very similar life to the one we know. Parents dead in a plane ‘accident’ and him being separated from his brother in the foster care system. He goes from house to house until his mutation manifests. In which he is thrown into a few bad situations regarding his foster parent using him for his powers, before being found by Charles. Scott was the first student to live on campus, but by far not the first student, however he sees Scott as a father(even if Charles doesn’t see him as his son). He is a mix of the cautious and rather reserved. He’s malnourished body earned him the nickname Slim, but don’t let the meek act fool you. He is sarcastic as you could imagine and has a very strong moral code. He will make a good leader.
Jean Grey Jean’s telekinesis came to her when she was young. Charles has been a constant figure in her life since then, almost taking on what she might call an ‘uncle’ role. He has been working with her for years, and was the first to know when her telepathy manifested, at the death of her best friend. To Charles, she was his first student, and the closest thing he feels he has to a kid. She joins the team last, the premier episode being about her moving into the mansion. She is feisty and spirited. The most reckless of the five, but also oddly balanced in responsibly. She knows she’s powerful and she fears it.
Warren Worthington III Warren’s wings did not grow in until he was away at boarding school. Lucky for him, he could hide them well at first by dropping all the sports he played. Warren used to play the part of an upstuck rich kid very well, but that never was him. When his wings fully came in, he spent the nights saving people from muggers and robbers. He realized it felt good to do something his parents would never do. When Charles offered him a place at the school he toke it, and has been learning to move past his rich ego, however some habits are hard to break. Warren still loves posh language and loves the fact that he is the richest among his friends, but also has a genuine want to help others.
Bobby Drake Bobby always knew he was different. He was gay. Something he found very hard to hide. That was until he found out he was a mutant, something he could hide behind. Bobby’s manifestion consisted of him freezing his entire room and himself, in a very Elsa manner. His parents were outraged, which caused Bobby to realize he could never come out to his parents. Charles came and wiped his parents mind, making everything easier, but Bobby still has the secret he has told no one. A secret he still hasn’t fully realized himself. Bobby hides his self loathing and anxieties behind bad jokes that he hops will be funny. As the youngest on the team, he often deals with the need to prove himself.
Hank McCoy Hank was good at hiding. His physical mutation made him very ape like in appearance, but if he stood the right way, played his card rights, and knew the right people, he could make everyone look past it. He was a genius, but hid behind a football jock exterior, an explanation for his body that made people look past him. Hank joined the school under the belief that he would not need to pretend anymore, and so he let go of his football alter ego. He prefers his academic side and is interested in pursuing the world of knowledge. He has a very academic way of speaking, but oddly really understands human emotion. He pushes himself hard and loves any and every form of learning.
In this show, the X-men was created by Charles as a way to get the public ready for the announcement of mutants, but they become so much more. Charles originally thinks that if the public can see super-powered people helping the world, they will be less likely to attack those people. He designs his perfect team, and even designs their suits.
Tumblr media
The team….likes them….kinda
Within the first season, mutants would be exposed to the public and the X-men’s fight focus on the fight of oppression and proving they can be good. Teased in the final moments of season one, Scott will reveal the x-costumes he has designed for everyone. These would be the suits worn from then on forward, representing a switch from being Xavier’s X-men to the X-men that fight for mutant kind.
Tumblr media
Additionally we would have lots of very weird love triangles!! Hank is not apart of it, because he very easily finds Vera who becomes his girlfriend. Bobby has a crush on Scott however. He plans to go to the grave with this fact. Warren and Scott both like Jean. Maybe they like each other….who knows? Jean on the other hand has no care in the world for romance at the moment and misses every interaction.
Some of the prominent names that would show up in the first season is of course Magneto. Magneto would be the battle for the first episode, and then there for the reveal of mutants, and then the final battle. He is the big overarching ‘villian’. Other villains would consist of classic 60’s villains such as Vanisher and the rest of the brotherhood. However Scarlet Witch and QuickSilver would not appear till season 2.
Additionally Xavier has a divorcee(that’s not Erik shocker) that is Moria McTaggert. I love the idea of them being bitter exes that have tea with each other and talk shit. Moria is mainly a doctor in Scotland, but would make appearances when one of the kids get to injured. Additionally she has ties to the CIA and aides Charles that way.
Some Pjs and fancy references
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Nonetheless, let me know if you want more. I have lots of ideas regarding this and would love to drill on and on again

If I write this fanfic, will you read it?
Lilandra Neramani, the third and youngest heir of Shi'ar International and Multinational Company, has never had a life of her own. Her whole life is an empty luxury full of people with fake smiles and hidden intentions. Even her parents see her as just another achievement. Without any real love and purpose in her life, she finds himself crying on the edge of a bridge on a rainy night. But what she doesn't know is that life might show it's love to her in the form of a wheelchair-bound professor. The one who shows her the first bit of kindness after eternity.
I really want to write the love story between Charles and Lilandra. Mostly because I like them a lot and then because no one else has done this before. But I'm a bit hesitant. This is my first fanfic.
A Modern AU and without powers.
Supporting characters: Erik Lehnsher, Logan Howlett, Scott Summers, Jean Gray, Warren Worthington, Hank McCoy, Bobby Drake, Ororo Monroe, Anna Marie, Raven Darkholm, Cain Marco, remy lebeau. (The X-Men are all foster children of Charles, Erik and Logan and Raven are ride and die friends, Cain and Cassandra are.... siblings being siblings)

MCKAY-HOLBROOK 1961
"By a ceremony performed Saturday evening, June 24th, by Rev. Charles O’Connell at 234 Washington St, Columbus, Indiana, Miss Lynn Joy Holbrook and Mr. Warren Don Mckay, were married. The bride wore an ivory dress with lace throughout. The groom wore two-toned ivory white and midnight blue trousers in compliments to the bouquet. The bride and groom will be celebrating at the groom's family home with few guests."
Hard-working hands have dried as they sift through delicate and aged papers. History is inked in the newspaper for all to bear witness. No one would care about the small print; they would flip to the next page, where more important articles awaited them in long paragraphs. Times changing, big events yet to come for readers or receiving a summarized version of what's already passed. But to him, this tiny article was everything. He stood on a rotted bridge above treacherous waters, planks falling away with every moment spent in the unknown. Never knowing where to turn until taking that leap of faith, only to have the wood crack and send him back toward safety. Now, he had names. Names to give the faces that smiled on splotchy brown paper, unaware they were being photographed in the courthouse. Hopper was closer than he had ever been—the end of this bridge in sight, where a new world awaited him.
"Mr. and Mrs. Eugene and Ruth Mckay are the parents of a son born Monday, April 5th, 1937, at The Birthing Center at Columbus Regional Hospital."
There’s a small stack dedicated to the boy. Birth, achievements, and changes in life, including his marriage to Lynn. His parents had been proud enough to pay for small spots in the paper, putting their only child on a pedestal for all to see. A man dedicated to education, pursuing a career on that very path despite the low pay. You could see him smiling in front of the class as he tutored young minds. The very school he worked for earning a place in the local paper for high praise. However, a darker turn awaits at the end for the boy named Warren. His father, Eugene, dies of a sudden heart attack in 1964 while working in the factories. A large funeral is held for a gone man, seemingly well-loved and dearly missed. Jim can barely make out the faces in the crowd—a shorter woman with a tissue concealing her face—while her son and daughter-in-law stand just beside the grieving widow. Everything seems to go silent after that. There are no more reports; safe for the one article to come years later, the couple already long gone from their quiet home. His wife offers even less help, though it’s intriguing enough.
"Lynn Joy Holbrook, born Monday, February 21st, 1938, at Trinity Health Birth Center, in Grand Rapids, Michigan."
There’s no mention of her parents or explanation as to why she wound up in Indiana. There were no achievements or events in her family name until her sister, Beverley Holbrook, makes a declaration of her disappearance in 1958. It’s a plea for her safe return, should she have been taken away. She was unaware that her baby sister was building a new life in a different state, and no one bothered to seek closure for the hole she left behind. There are no mentions of a child being born, though evidence in a stolen Polaroid proves otherwise— - keeping the joy to themselves, with purpose. He sees more of her in their faces—nearly identical to the woman with few features gifted by a father. It’s a deep and tangled web of mystery, eating away at his mind as the spiders crawl along for a feast. When and where did Ian Reid or Dr. Brenner come into play? Warren had no siblings to entrust his daughter to, and Beverly remained behind in Michigan with her husband, Mick— most likely even unaware there had been a niece to dote upon. And right now, he wasn’t about to show up on a stranger's doorstep with good news, handing the girl over and leaving unknowing of her fate. But he did need to do something.
The paperwork is abandoned in his truck, locked up with only one key to get in or out. It had become the safest place to keep prying eyes away from his research, no matter if it involved her or not. Steve had said things would get worse with secrecy and lies, but Hopper can’t stomach the look in her eyes when he strips away the only life she had ever known. Parents she may or may not remember, and how she wound up beneath someone else's roof. His heart is already racing with anticipation from what he’s about to do, fingers tight and trembling around a file until it crinkles. He sits in silence at their small table, elbows hoisted up with fingers tangling in his mess of hair as he stares down at the bold, printed words at the top of the paper.
Temporary Guardianship Agreement
It’s not been discussed—not even a whisper. Autumn had said he needed to figure something out, and this was it. Legally, she still needed someone to shelter and guide her. Someone to make sure schoolwork was done and keep her far from a rebellious path. He pictures the fear in her face as she’s carted away once again, forcing her to surrender to the foster care system. She’ll bounce around. Back and forth between families until she falls numb to abandonment, receiving little love and unable to give it back. The word would have become foreign. Then, she’ll turn eighteen and be cast out into the wilderness. Wolves either devour her whole as she moves on unsteady feet, or she takes the pain to become part of the pack. Unrecognizable to not only others that once knew her but to herself. Hopper had been there when she needed him, and he would be damned if he left her now.
He can hear the roar of an engine in the distance—slow-moving tires as they creep up onto the cabin. In such a quiet place, it’s enough to pull him back into reality. He checks his watch, and the time reads 3:46 p.m. School had just gotten out, and with strict orders to come straight back to the cabin, the timing matches. Just like the day before. Only this time, there’s no comfort in her return—only dread. She’s racing up the steps, eager to be freed of the cold winds, and sit right by the fireplace, homework in hand. But she spots his disheveled state, slowly easing off her coat with a weary look in her eye.
“Hi,” she greets in an uncertain tone, testing the waters before she dares to inch closer. The officer can’t even bring himself to reply, only nodding in acknowledgment of her arrival. The discomfort is hard to miss. “What’s-whats up?”
His body shifts then. Arms crossing over the table as he leans into it, obscuring the paperwork between them. “Nothing,” he sighs out. “Just, uh, just a long day.” It wasn’t entirely a lie, but something remained hidden nonetheless, and Autumn seems to notice.
She mouths an “Okay” as she continues to wade through shallow waters, not yet confident enough to swim and meet him at the depths. But the girl looks at him as she fusses over her bag, trying to appear casual, but the raging waves are difficult to ignore. She braces for impact. “Are you sure?” Blue eyes look up to her again, and he wears a forced smile. Nothing like what she had seen on their shopping spree, and certainly not similar to the one he wore next to Joyce. She teeters around it, sensing danger far worse than blackened waters. “What’s that you got there?” His attention is snapping back down to the papers, his heart racing, and leaving him too sick to speak. “Important cop business?” She’s trying to lighten the mood. Hoping to ease the wrath of Poseidon so that they may be spared.
“Uh, no, actually,” his words come out soft, and pained. There is no liferaft to be seen as he dives headfirst, accepting what’s to come. “It’s our business.” He pulls back to reveal the file, though she’s still too far away to know what it all means. A hand lazily gestures towards the chair just across from him, asking for her to sit.
She elects to let him drown. Arms crossed with a head held high to avoid the rising tides. “I’ll stand, thanks.”
Her stubborn attitude has an open hand tighten into a fist, a heavy sigh of defeat falling from his chest. Would he ever be ready for this? “Look, uh,” the words are building up in his throat, creating a blockade he has to either choke down or spew across the table for another breath. “Your dad’s been gone for a while.” The girl’s weight shifts from one leg to the other, her tongue pressed to the inside of her cheek. “Y’know, eventually his absence will get brought up. The school making phone calls, but never hearing anything back. Not showing up for parent-teacher conferences.”
“What’s your point?” She bites back. Somehow he can sense that she already knows what’s just over the horizon, yet she can’t bring herself to voice it out loud.
“My point is… I don’t want t’see you wind up in some stranger’s house.” She’s chewing at her lip anxiously, a deep, unsteady breath filling her lungs, preparing for what awaits her as the level threatens to rise above her.
“Don’t want to? Or can’t?” She questions.
The quiet cabin is suddenly flipped by the loud squeak of a chair sliding across the wood. His haste in closing their distance is almost alarming, leaving her to flinch but keep a steady gaze on him. “Look, kid, this ain’t no walk in the park. This isn’t your two-story, white picket fence home. It’s cramped, and isolated, and maybe you feel out of place. But that man is still out there, and if there’s the slimmest chance that I can protect you here, I’m going t’take it. So, no, I don’t want to.” Her focus hasn’t broken, though the lines of his face begin to blur. Wrinkles of stress and sleepless eyes blend together in a haze. The pleading in his tone is all she needs. Drinking in his ache, while her own heart slowly dies. “If you want t’risk it, you have t’tell me. But I can’t protect you out there.”
A shaken breath falls, unaware she had been holding it hostage. Without another word being spared between the two, cautious steps carry her away from Hopper and towards the table. Autumn is far too fearful to get too close, merely leaning in as if the paper would somehow wound her. She blinks frantically to clear her sight, letting fresh tears fall as she reads the title in bold. She’s grateful but can’t ignore the heartbreak, growing necrotic inside and withering away with a gust of wind. In a fury, her coat is pulled back into her arms—keys still in hand as she rushes past him. “I need t’go.”
“Autumn-”
“Hopper,” she warns with a fiery look in her eyes, a pointed finger held between the two. The girl seems unaware of the flickering lights from within, though he can’t help but look around the small room in worry. “I-I need t’go. I just need t’breathe.”
He towers before her with fists at his sides, fighting back the instinct to pull her back into safety. “Where will you go?” Glossy eyes flicker around the room in thought, before Jonathan’s name fumbles out of her mouth in a lie. Hopper is reluctant to let her go, but with Joyce there to watch out for her where he couldn’t, he ultimately agrees. Just before she’s gone from the threshold, he manages to slip the walkie-talkie in her hold. It was a miracle that she even allowed him that peace of mind. “If anything happens on the way.”
Autumn hardly remembers the drive as she escapes into the evening. Her thoughts spiral, distracting enough to nearly end in a fender-bender. The aggravated voice of the driver ahead manages to spike already high stress levels, and she elects to seek shelter somewhere nearby while the storm settles. A quiet diner—one she’s all too familiar with from previous visits. It’s just before dinner, and she knows this peace won’t last long, so she’s quick to grab a seat and plant herself there until her ass is numb and her legs forget to work. Long after a slowly enjoyed meal, despite the unsettling nausea. In her haste, she's abandoned homework at the cabin and is left to the lonesome of her mind. Thoughts were screaming loud enough to drown out the chitchat around her or the clank of silverware. It renders her frozen in time—dissociated as vacant eyes stare down at a half-eaten meal of sandwich and fries. The tsunami has followed her out of that cabin, crashing into her and leaving her bones to ache. Autumn is logical; she’s aware this won’t kill her, but it’s the journey out of harm's way she struggles to cope with. Her father was out there and very much alive. Possibly even far from Hawkin’s. Another state entirely. She digs away at the flesh of her lip, picturing his lies as he dresses himself in a lab coat with no car oil or grease to dirty his skin. Not the blue-collar lifestyle he claimed to live. She was more than just logical; she was goddamn gullible.
She conjures up an image of that man at his side. A sickening smile on his face as the screams of children rang out in her mind. He calls himself a stranger, but somehow, she knows it’s more than that.
There’s a commotion just next to her as the empty stool is filled, her body reacting on impulse to escape, though settling once she registers the new company. Heather sits with a duffle bag slung across the counter, a smile quickly vanishing into a look of concern. “You look like shit.”
A relieved sigh falls through, eyes now studying the mirror just across, almost anticipating to find that man in the reflection. “Thanks.”
“No,” the girl blurts out, now frustrated with herself. “I-I didn’t mean like that. I just meant-”
“I know what you meant.” Autumn humors, the faintest smile at the corner of her lips. “I do look like shit.” They fall into a brief silence. Autumn finds comfort in having someone familiar nearby, while Heather mentally kicks herself, lost on how to continue. “Aren’t you,” Autumn begins, now twirling the base of a tall glass across the surface. “Aren’t you supposed t’be, I don’t know, fighting monsters with Eddie?”
The girl at her side makes a face, her eyes narrowed. “I don’t just play Dungeons and Dragons, y’know. I have things.” Autumn spares a look of doubt, a single brow raised to lure out the truth. “Besides, everyone’s busy.” She mumbles, almost too embarrassed to admit that if it were any other day, she would have been at the game table. There’s a huff of amusement, and focus is redirected to stir the milkshake. Heather seems to notice how her smile doesn’t reach her eyes. “What’s wrong? Aside from your questionable taste in drinks in winter.”
Finally, the joy shifts and appears more sincere. Though she doesn’t take the playful bait laid out for her. “Just-just shit. Family shit.”
Heather holds out a hand for pause, a look of genuine sympathy in her eyes. “Say no more. I’m familiar with ‘family shit.” Somehow, Autumn doubts that.
Heather begins flipping through the plastic menu, humming to herself, and Autumn can’t help but wonder if she’s set up for the long haul. Ready to dine with a friend. “So, are we running away from family shit?”
The girl snorts, finding her appetite with a distracted mind, helping herself to room-temperature fries and a slow-melting drink. She mumbles around the straw,
“Nowhere t’run to.”
Heather scoffs at her pessimism, waving a hand in her direction. “There’s plenty t’run to. Chicago? Maybe go swim with some sharks in Florida? That’ll get your mind off it.”
“Sounds like you’ve thought some things through.”
Their eyes meet, and the girl wears a small smile. The menu is folded back up and pushed to the side. “Doesn’t everyone think about traveling? Seeing more than just Hawkins, even if it’s temporary.” The teen locks eyes with the waitress, and a silent conversation is had, nodding in acknowledgment before she dips into the back, the door swinging as she leaves. “We talked about making it big in the cities. Big cities. Like New York, or something.” Autumn can see the way her focus flickers out. A light in her eyes shifts and sways as she dances through a future of wants and desires. All before she plummets back to reality. “Can’t leave my mom behind, though. Plus, I’m not gettin’ very far on a bike.”
Her face contorts in amusement, just at the edge of laughter. “Mom doesn’t want t’move t’New York?”
“My mom? She’d have a heart attack.”
They linger in the moment. Hearts suddenly warmed and troubles were forgotten—at least forgotten enough to enjoy the company. Heather swivels impatiently on the stool, her eyes locked on the metal door that remains still. The shouts of the cooks and the waitress were heard booming just beyond the wall. “You got plans tonight?”
“Other than plotting my escape into the big beyond? Not really.”
Heather nods along in understanding, her tongue clicking against the roof of her mouth. “I’m waiting for my mom’s food. I was going t’head home and, I don’t know, probably get up t’no good. You want t’come?”
Autumn isn’t sure if she means it. Whether they’ll wind up with red and blue lights flashing at their backs, or if it’s as simple as watching a movie. But she’s desperate, and takes the offer with an eager, “Abso-fucking-lutely.”

In today’s enterprise landscape, navigating the rippling waves of an ever-dynamic digital seascape is like climbing an elusive social ladder. Businesses, firms and manufacturers in Great Britain, are no exception. On this labyrinthine journey, one tool companies must wield with efficacy is online reputation management (ORM), honed to perfection. Armed with this tool, they propel growth, sustain and safeguard their unique reputation – a formidable gem in their crown. This gives rise to the pertinence of the statement: ‘your reputation is as good as your last search result.’ Just as Charles Dickens coined, “In a word, I was too cowardly to do what I knew to be right", British manufacturers often shy away from confronting the harsh reality of online reputation's clout. ORM is not a ‘nice to have’ marketing tactic; it is indeed the sword and shield of your digital stronghold, a 'must-have.' So, let’s dive into the depths to mine the wisdom on ORM for British manufacturers. **The Fuel for Growth: Online Reputation Management** In the digital age where news, whether good, bad, or ugly, travels faster than Concord, British manufacturers must control the wheel of their digital reputation by steering it with accuracy precision. It’s more than just a battle for positive reviews; it’s a war waged for digital truth. The key is not to avoid or contain crises but to master and manage them. ORM in British manufacturing equips companies to do just that. Sustainable growth is ignited when digital platforms become the bedrock for fostering customer trust, real-time engagements and improvisation. ORM nurtures this ecosystem by curating a rich manufactory narrative that resonates with the audience and sets the stage for enhanced brand engagement. **The Guardian of Reputation: ORM** Business magnate Warren Buffet once profoundly said, “It takes 20 years to build a reputation and five minutes to ruin it.” The same axiom rings true in the realm of British Manufacturing. A 2016 BrightLocal survey shed some light on this notion. It revealed that 84% of people trust online reviews as much as personal recommendations, meaning the unsaid word and unexpressed emotion online carries significant ramifications for your reputation. ORM exists to defend it. ORM helps keep manufacturers in the loop about online conversations, equipping them with the knowledge to anticipate customer responses and painstakingly sculpt their brand image. In essence, secure reputation = secured business value. **Connecting the Dots: ORM & British Manufacturing** The common thread tying British manufacturers to ORM is the shared value of quality and trust. Furthermore, the British audience savours stories crafted from authenticity and passion—precisely what ORM facilitates. An expertly executed ORM plan mines positive feedback, addresses concerns, and amplifies customer voices. Consequently, it evokes trust in the digital space, benchmarking the brand as reliable, approachable and directly tied to Britishness. In short, ORM is the digital avatar of the age-old British street-corner grocer who knows each customer by name. Remember, ORM isn't a one-size-fits-all game. What worked for your comrade might not work for you. Therefore, the quest for perfect ORM should start with understanding your brand, business and audience’s unique nuances. **In Conclusion: Carry Your Digital Sword and Shield High** Today is the day you start investing in ORM - your ticket to fortifying your brand in the British manufacturing industry. Remember, reputation can make or break your business. It's not about if you should venture into ORM, but when and how decisively you do. As Winston Churchill said, “Success is not final. Failure is not fatal. It's the courage to keep going that counts." And indeed, ORM is the beacon of courage on your digital journey. Case Study: British Manufacturer Boosts Reputation & Sees Growth With Effective Online Reputation Management A premier British manufacturing firm, Manufacturing UK Ltd, experienced a challenging period in 2017.
Negative press coverage and dwindling sales threatened their industry standing. To combat this, they turned to proactive online reputation management (ORM), transforming their brand image online, fuelling unprecedented growth and proving the real-world impact of ORM strategies. Identifying the Issues & Setting Goals Manufacturing UK Ltd was contending with denigrating reviews, outdated information, and a lack of recent positive press— all readily accessible via a quick Google search. They sought an ORM team's expertise, with the primary goals being to enhance their positive online presence, neutralize negative reviews, empower their social media presence, improve their SEO rankings, and ultimately, boost their financial performance. Stage 1: Online Presence Audit & Crafting a Tailored ORM Strategy Understanding the present state of their online reputation was critical. The ORM team mapped the company's digital footprint, noting positive and negative impacts, and submitted an exhaustive report outlining the pertinent issues and suggesting solutions. The custom ORM strategy involved establishing a more robust digital presence, managing negative reviews, refining SEO, and developing an engaging social media presence. Stage 2: Reinforcing Positive Presence & Managing Reviews Manufacturing UK Ltd lacked a substantial positive online presence, which the team sought to mend. The company website was revamped, a blog was initiated featuring industry innovations and expert commentary, and client testimonials were curated to spotlight positive experiences. Notably, they didn't ignore negative reviews. Instead, they addressed them professionally and proactively, seeking resolution where possible. Their candidness in acknowledging mistakes, paired with the drive to amend errors, resonated with customers. Stage 3: Leveraging SEO & Actively Engaging on Social Media The team executed SEO optimization tactics, like keyword mapping and backlinking, to boost the new positive content's visibility. This also helped to manage the visibility of negative reviews or outdated information. On social media, Manufacturing UK Ltd portrayed a refreshed corporate image. They regularly shared company updates, industry news, and blog posts to maintain client engagement and promote transparency. Results: ORM Fuels Growth & Sustains Reputation Post this ORM initiative, Manufacturing UK Ltd saw a significant rebuild in its online reputation. Their search results now majorly showcase their new blog content, client testimonials, and instructional videos, while negative content is less visible. Notably, their engagement on social media channels quadrupled, resulting in bolstered client relationships. This ORM strategy positively impacted their sales, with a recorded growth rate increase of 25% post-intervention. Conclusion: ORM as a Growth Strategy for British Manufacturers This case study underscores the importance of ORM for British manufacturers. It proves that negative online presence, if tackled strategically, can be turned around to fuel growth and sustain reputation. Manufacturing UK Ltd's journey teaches that ORM is not just a damage control strategy, but a growth catalyst. By addressing negative reviews, enhancing SEO, upgrading online presence, and engaging meaningfully on social media, companies can not only repair their reputation but drive their growth beyond expectations. "Unlock the potential of your British manufacturing business today! Don't let your online reputation hinder growth. Read our expert insights and learn how to fuel your company's expansion! Click here to start managing your reputation effectively!" Kickstart Your Digital Journey Today! "The UK manufacturing sector contributes 10% of the gross value and employs 2.7 million people. In an industry where 70% of business comes from existing customers and reputation is integral, effective Online Reputation Management (ORM) is critical to not just growth, but survival for British manufacturers.

Title: Hoskinson Backs Deaton’s Bid Against Warren with Maximum Donation
In a notable display of support for the crypto community, Charles Hoskinson, the founder of Cardano (ADA) and a prominent figure in the blockchain space, has thrown his weight behind John Deaton's campaign against Senator Elizabeth Warren, offering a maximum donation to bolster Deaton's bid. This move underscores the growing momentum behind efforts to advocate for regulatory clarity and fair treatment of cryptocurrencies in the United States.
John Deaton, a prominent attorney and crypto advocate, recently announced his candidacy for the U.S. Senate seat currently held by Senator Elizabeth Warren, who has been a vocal critic of cryptocurrencies and has called for stricter regulations on digital assets. Deaton's campaign aims to champion the interests of the crypto community and push for policies that foster innovation and growth in the burgeoning industry.
Charles Hoskinson's decision to make a maximum donation to Deaton's campaign underscores his commitment to advocating for the rights and interests of the crypto community. As the founder of Cardano, one of the leading blockchain platforms, and a respected voice in the industry, Hoskinson's endorsement carries significant weight and signals a unified effort within the crypto community to influence policy decisions at the highest levels of government.
The backing of Deaton's campaign by Hoskinson and other prominent figures in the crypto space reflects growing concerns within the industry regarding the regulatory uncertainty and hostility towards cryptocurrencies exhibited by some policymakers. With the crypto market facing increased scrutiny and regulatory challenges, stakeholders are rallying behind candidates like Deaton who are committed to representing their interests and promoting a favorable regulatory environment for digital assets.
Moreover, Hoskinson's support for Deaton's bid against Senator Warren is seen as a direct response to Warren's anti-crypto stance and her calls for stringent regulations that could stifle innovation and hinder the growth of the industry. By throwing his support behind Deaton, Hoskinson aims to send a clear message that the crypto community will not stand idly by while policymakers advocate for policies that threaten the future of digital assets.
Deaton's candidacy represents a unique opportunity for the crypto community to make its voice heard in the halls of power and shape the regulatory landscape for cryptocurrencies in the United States. With the backing of influential figures like Charles Hoskinson, Deaton's campaign has gained significant momentum and is poised to become a focal point in the ongoing debate over crypto regulation and policy.
In conclusion, Charles Hoskinson's maximum donation to John Deaton's campaign against Senator Elizabeth Warren underscores the growing unity and determination within the crypto community to advocate for fair treatment and regulatory clarity. As the industry continues to mature and gain mainstream acceptance, stakeholders are increasingly mobilizing to influence policymakers and ensure that cryptocurrencies are afforded the opportunity to thrive and innovate in a supportive regulatory environment. John Deaton's candidacy represents a significant step towards achieving this goal and shaping the future of the crypto industry in the United States.

"King" (1978, Part I) was an NBC made-for-television movie about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr life written and directed by Abby Mann. The film stars Paul Winfield and Cicely Tyson as Martin and Coretta Scott King, respectively. Both actors were already successful in their careers from the 1972 film "Sounder," so they already had the chemistry necessary to pull off this task. NBC released the miniseries ten years after the assassination of Dr. King, so the tragedy was a reminder for many people when the series aired. Not only that, but many people involved with Dr. King were still active in his legacy. The film did ignite some controversy from several angles. In general, Dr. King involved himself in so many different things at high levels that it would be impossible to nail down all the details of how situations unfolded and, more so, how he responded from an emotional and psychological perspective. According to the Courier-Post, Saturday, February 11, 1978, in an article by Jerry Buck (The Associated Press), civil rights leaders said that Mann portrayed Kings as "cowardly and frightened." However, Mann countered by saying, "the film may have flaws, but showing him as a coward isn't one of them. He may be afraid, but that makes him all the more courageous." Additional criticism included the treatment of Dr. King by former FBI director J. Edger Hoover who attempted to discredit King. There are many actors in this miniseries, so it can be challenging to keep up with everyone, but many familiar faces play significant roles. But in part one, Howard E. Rollins stars in his second film playing King's aid, Andrew Young. Part one is an intense drama. Everyone does an excellent job of bringing the life surrounding Dr. King in a way that will touch people emotionally. However, as mentioned earlier, some details and facts may need to be included or corrected, especially considering more than ten years are required to research the life of Dr. King. But, for educational purposes, this film did well, and I recommend it for viewing. Director: Abby Mann Writer: Abby Mann Starring Paul Winfield, Cicely Tyson, Ernie Hudson, Howard E. Goulston Street Grafitti
After the murders of Elizabeth Stride (Dutfield's Yard, Berner Street, Whitechapel) and Catherine Eddowes (Mitre Square, City of London) in the early morning hours of 30 September 1888, police searched the area near the crime scenes in an effort to locate a suspect, witnesses or evidence.
Catherine Eddowes' murder
Catherine Eddowes was last seen alive at 1.35 a.m. by three witnesses, Joseph Lawende, Joseph Hyam Levy and Harry Harris, who had just left a club on Duke Street. She was standing talking with a man at the entrance to Church Passage, which led south-west from Duke Street to Mitre Square along the south wall of the Great Synagogue of London. Only Lawende could furnish a description of the man, whom he described as a fair-moustached man wearing a navy jacket, peaked cloth cap, and red scarf. Chief Inspector Donald Swanson intimated in his report that Lawende’s identification of the woman as Eddowes was doubtful. He wrote that Lawende had said that some clothing of the deceased’s that he was shown resembled that of the woman he saw—“which was black … that was the extent of his identity [sic]”. A patrolling policeman, PC James Harvey, walked down Church Passage from Duke Street very shortly afterwards but his beat took him back down Church Passage to Duke Street, without entering the square. Eddowes, then an unidentified victim, was found by policeman PC Edward Watkins, who said that he entered the square at 1:44 a.m, having previously been there at 1:30 a.m.
Even while Metropolitan police investigated the crime scene on Berner street, constables from the City Police were called to the horrifying display in Mitre Square. City Detective Constable Daniel Halse was over by St Botolph's Church when he learnt of the murder at just before 2am. Hurrying to Mitre Square, he gave instructions to the constables present to head off and search the neighbourhood. He and Detective Constable Edward Marriott led canvassing of the area for clues and suspects. DC Halse then set off to make his own search, heading first for Middlesex Street, from which he turned into Wentworth Street, where he stopped to question two men he encountered, both of whom gave him a satisfactory account of their movements, and so he allowed them to continue on their way.
He then passed through Goulston Street at around 2.20am where, having found nothing out of the ordinary, he doubled back and returned to Mitre Square. On arrival, he discovered that the body had been taken to the mortuary in Golden Lane, so he made his way there and, on arrival, he was informed that a fragment of the woman's apron had, apparently, been taken away by her killer.
Discovery
At about 2:55~3 a.m. of September 30th, 1888, Constable Alfred Long of the Metropolitan Police Force found a blood-stained fragment of Catherine’s apron lying in the passage of the doorway leading to Flats 108 and 119, Model Dwellings, Goulston Street, Whitechapel. Above it on the wall was a graffito in white chalk. He copied the words from the wall into his pocket book. After calling a constable (PC 190H) from the adjoining beat, Long made a search of the staircases but found no trace of blood or persons.
He proceeded to Commercial Street Police Station and reported the discovery of the apron and writing to the Inspector on duty who accompanied him back to Goulston Street. After inspecting the scene, they went to Leman Street Police Station where the Inspector handed over the portion of Eddowes' apron to Dr. George Bagster Phillips. PC Long had, in fact, walked past the same doorway at 2.20am, at more or less the same time that Daniel Halse had also passed through Goulston Street, and, like Halse, he had seen nothing out of the ordinary. Indeed, he was emphatic that he would, most certainly, have noticed had the piece of apron been there then and he was, therefore, sure that it hadn't been. Long was unable to say whether the graffito had been there at that time. Neither could he form any opinion as to whether the writing was recent.
The exact position of the writing is still uncertain. It is not clear as to whether it was on the left or right hand side of the doorway, or where it was positioned exactly in relation to the discarded piece of apron, save that it was 'above it'. According to DC Halse of the city of London Police the writing was on 'the black facia of the wall' and appeared to have been written recently. Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir Charles Warren stated that "the writing was on the jamb of the open archway or doorway visible to anybody in the street..." Chief Inspector Swanson described the writing as being "upon the wall of a common stairs", also claiming that it was blurred. Police Superintendent Thomas Arnold's report suggests that the writing was at shoulder height.

Versions
There are at least 5 different versions of what was written in the graffito:
PC Long told at an inquest that it read ”The Juwes are the men that Will not be Blamed for nothing“. A copy according with Long’s version of the message was attached to a report from Sir Charles Warren to the Home Office (pictured above).
DC Halse arrived short time later, and took down a different version: “The Juwes are not the men who will be blamed for nothing”.
City Surveyor Frederick William Foster recorded a third version: “The Juws are not the men To be blamed for nothing”.
Superintendent Thomas Arnold, who visited the scene and saw the writing, wrote it in his report of 6 November (posted also below) as "The Juews are the men that will not be blamed for nothing".
A summary report on the writing by Chief Inspector Swanson rendered it as “The Jewes are not the men to be blamed for nothing”. However, it is uncertain if Swanson ever saw the writing.

Removal
Soon, officers of the Metropolitan Police were gathering around the doorway and were gazing at the graffito with feelings of great trepidation.
At the time, Whitechapel was home to a growing number of Jewish immigrants from all over Europe. They were viewed with suspicion because of their often socialist political views, as well as from plain old racial prejudice. A notorious murder case had recently taken place in the neighborhood perpetrated by a Jewish man named Israel Lipski, and his name had turned into a slur against Jewish people. Religious tensions were already high, and there had already been many near-riots. Mindful of the strong feelings of anti-Semitism that had surfaced in the area, and realizing that Wentworth Model Dwellings not only stood in a largely Jewish locality, but was also inhabited almost exclusively by Jews, the Metropolitan Police began to fear that if the message was left, it could lead to a resurgence of racial unrest in the district and the consequences could be dire.
While the Goulston Street graffito was found in Metropolitan Police territory, the apron piece was from a victim killed in the City of London, which has a separate police force. Arnold ordered a man to be standing by with a sponge to erase the writing, while he consulted Commissioner Warren. Covering it in order to allow time for a photographer to arrive or removing a portion of it were considered, but Arnold and Warren (who personally attended the scene) considered this to be too dangerous.
The removal of the writing was a contoversial action, in spite of the fact that Inspector James McWilliam, head of the City Police Detective Department, had given an immediate order for it to be photographed. The Metropolitan Police pointed out that that would mean waiting until it was light, by which time gentile purchasers would be arriving in their thousands to purchase from the Jewish stallholders at the Petticoat Lane and Goulston Street Sunday markets. Since there was no way of keeping it hidden from these crowds, the Metropolitan Police were convinced the result might be a full scale riot against the Jews.
Some officers disagreed with Arnold and Warren's decision, especially those representing the City of London Police, like DC Halse, who thought the writing constituted part of a crime scene, but it was wiped from the wall at 5:30 a.m. Even Sir Robert Anderson said that the removal of such an important potential clue was an act of crass stupidity.
Superintendent Arnold, in his report of 6 November 1888 to the Home Office, he claimed, that with the strong feeling against the Jews that already existed, the message might have become the means of causing a riot:
"I beg to report that on the morning of the 30th Sept. last, my attention was called to some writing on the wall of the entrance to some dwellings at No. 108 Goulston Street, Whitechapel which consisted of the following words: "The Juews are not [the word 'not' being deleted] the men that will not be blamed for nothing", and knowing in consequence of suspicion having fallen upon a Jew named 'John Pizer' alias 'Leather Apron' having committed a murder in Hanbury Street a short time previously [Annie Chapman], a strong feeling existed against the Jews generally, and as the Building upon which the writing was found was situated in the midst of a locality inhabited principally by that Sect, I was apprehensive that if the writing were left it would be the means of causing a riot and therefore considered it desirable that it should be removed having in view the fact that it was in such a position that it would have been rubbed by persons passing in & out of the Building. Had only a portion of the writing been removed the context would have remained. An Inspector was present by my directions with a sponge for the purpose of removing the writing when the Commissioner arrived on the scene".
Sir Charles Warren's report of the same day is on similar lines:
" ...it was just getting light, the public would be in the streets in a few minutes, in a neighbourhood very much crowded by Jewish vendors and Christian Purchasers from all parts of London...The writing was on the jamb of the open archway or doorway visible to anybody in the street and could not be covered up without danger of the covering been torn off at once. A discussion took place whether the writing could be left covered up or otherwise or whether any portion of it could be left for an hour until it could be photographed; but after taking into consideration the excited state of the population in London generally at the time, the strong feeling which had been excited against the Jews, and the fact that in a short time there would be a large concourse of the people in the streets, and having before me the Report that if it was left there the house was likely to be wrecked (in which from my own observation I entirely concurred) I considered it desirable to obliterate the writing at once, having taken a copy of which I enclose a duplicate.
After having been to the scene of the murder, I went on to the City Police Office and informed the Chief Superintendant of the reason why the writing had been obliterated.
I may mention that so great was the feeling with regard to the Jews that on the 13th ulto. the Acting Chief Rabbi wrote to me on the subject of the spelling of the word "Jewes" on account of a newspaper asserting that this was Jewish spelling in the Yiddish dialect. He added "in the present state of excitement it is dangerous to the safety of the poor Jews in the East [End] to allow such an assertion to remain uncontradicted. My community keenly appreciates your humane and vigilant action during this critical time.
It may be realised therefore if the safety of the Jews in Whitechapel could be considered to be jeopardised 13 days after the murder by the question of the spelling of the word Jews, what might have happened to the Jews in that quarter had that writing been left intact.
I do not hesitate myself to say that if that writing had been left there would have have been an onslaught upon the Jews, property would have been wrecked, and lives would probably have been lost; and I was much gratified with the prompitude with which Superintendent Arnold was prepared to act in the matter if I had not been there."
Investigation
The police interviewed all the residents of 108–119 Goulston Street, but were unable to trace either the writer of the graffito or the murderer.
The journey from Mitre Square, where Catherine was murdered, to Goulston Street, where her blood stained piece of apron was found, takes a little under ten minutes at a brisk pace. DC Halse had walked it in twenty or so minutes, and he was on the look out for suspicious looking characters, and had even stopped to question the two men he had encountered en route.
There are, admittedly, several possible routes that the murderer could have taken, but they can all be done at a rapid pace in around ten minutes or less.
If Long and Halse were correct in their assertion that the portion of apron hadn't been there at 2.20am, then the murderer had loitered in the area for anywhere between 35 minutes and an hour, during which time the police were fanning out into the area to search for him, and were stopping and questioning any man they met.
Walter Dew, a detective constable in Whitechapel, tended to think that the writing was irrelevant and unconnected to Catherine's murder, whereas Chief Inspector Henry Moore and Sir Robert Anderson, both from Scotland Yard, thought that the graffito was the work of the murderer. Contemporary police concluded that the text was a semi-literate attack on the area's Jewish population.
Mitre Square had three connecting streets: Church Passage to the north-east, Mitre Street to the south-west, and St James’s Place to the north-west. As in their beats PC Watkins saw no-one from Mitre Street, and PC Harvey saw no-one from Church Passage, the murderer must have left the square northwards through St James’s Place towards Goulston Street. Goulston Street was within a quarter of an hour’s walk from Mitre Square.

Theories
To this day, there is no consensus on whether or not the graffito is relevant to the murders. Some modern researchers believe that the apron fragment’s proximity to the graffito was coincidental and it was randomly discarded rather than being placed near it. If, as some writers contend, the apron fragment was cut away by the murderer(s) to use to wipe his hands, he could have discarded it near the body immediately after it had served that purpose, or he could have wiped his hands on it without needing to remove it.
According to historian Philip Sugden there are at least three permissible interpretations of the graffiti: "All three are feasible, not one capable of proof." The first is that the writing was not the work of the murderer at all: the apron piece was dropped near the writing either incidentally or by design. The second would be to "take the murderer at his word"—a Jew incriminating himself and his people. The third interpretation was, according to Sugden, the one most favoured at the Scotland Yard and by "Old Jewry": The chalk message was a deliberate subterfuge, designed to incriminate the Jews and throw the police off the track of the real murderer.
Author and former homicide detective Trevor Marriott has raised another possibility (2005): the piece of apron may not necessarily have been dropped by the murderer on his way back to the East End from Mitre Square. The victim herself might have used it as a sanitary towel, and dropped it on her way from the East End to Mitre Square. Although Caterine’s cause of death was Haemorrhage due to severance of the left common carotid artery, thus her heart wouldn’t have stopped beating by the time he cut her throat and so he wouldn’t have avoided the arterial spurt that would have resulted in him becoming heavily bloodstained when he cut the carotid artery.
