Ch 212: That Butler, Going South
Please respect the spoons (time and energy) and money I invested into this post. Do not use my content without credit.
16 pages including the cover.
Basically, the chapter covers Sebastian and Ciel traveling by train to Brighton, discussing the servants’ missions as Ciel enjoys breakfast in the dining car.
(Remember that all the missions are happening simultaneously more or less, so Ciel doesn’t know how successful or not they all were.)
It’s actually quite brilliant of Yana and her team to time things like this. This chapter is a great way for fans who may have lapsed during the servant arcs to catch up again, or even for new fans lured in by the anime to get a taste of the manga.
It’s also interesting to see a how a some of the scenes mirror panels/moments from previous arcs.
For example, the shot of Sebastian and Ciel on the train together is akin to the end of the circus arc. (And admire how much her art has improved!)
Later, we get a (shocking, to me, anyway) shot of Sebastian sitting at the table with Ciel as equals, reminiscent of when they ironed out the details of the contract.
The chapter begins with the two of them on the train in their first class compartment, en route to Brighton from Reading.
Sebastian, ever the conscientious butler, notices the time and mentions breakfast, but Ciel is cautious: they’re fugitives, after all. Sebastian points out that most people wouldn’t expect a criminal to be casually taking a meal in the dining car. Seeing his point (and since Ciel is driven by his stomach lol), they go to have breakfast together.
They then discuss the servants’ missions and what they expect. For example, Ciel brings up the point that Lau can only be trusted so far, and he is the one who first brought their attention to the whole mess back in the Campania arc with Karstein Hospital. And he is a mafia boss.
But, both of them acknowledge that Bard is the smartest and most capable of the four servants (Bard, Mey, Finny, Snake), and that he managed to make it to the UK all the way from America alone. Plus, he’s trustworthy. Ciel points out that’s precisely why he paired them up. (Seeing them compliment my man 😭😭… Take that, Bard haters!)
They also discuss the mission Ran Mao and Mey are undergoing and ofc Snake and Finny. (I’m sorry but I’m tired and I don’t care as much about the other servants as Bard so I’m… not going into detail on their pages. Maybe tomorrow if I have time and spoons I’ll make an add-on to this going over those pages.)
This panel is one of my fave moments in the chapter… it translates more or less like this:
Mey: For our lord
Bard: With pride
Snake: With my life on the line
Finny: I do the assigned work and see it through to the end
Despite initially being wary of leaving their compartment, when Sebastian suggests they leave the dining car, Ciel wants to stay and stretch his legs. It’s only a few hours to Brighton by train.
Looks like next week we’ll start the arc in earnest and maybe learn how they plan to infiltrate the hotel.
Please respect the spoons (time and energy) and money I invested into this post. Do not use my content without credit.
Note: The last panel is actually Ciel speaking, so apologies for that error in translation.

Darth Maul's ambitious plan to leverage the chaos from the aftermath of the Clone Wars has led to suffering of refugees and the forgotten inhabitants in the Galactic Underworld is a calculated strategy to build power and influence from the shadows of Coruscant. Here’s how he could orchestrate the operation with Dryden Vos and Crimson Dawn:
Step 1: Establishing the Humanitarian Front
1.1. Employing the service of Dryden Vos:
Maul has Dryden Vos, a cunning and ruthless leader of Crimson Dawn, to manage the operation. Vos’s experience with the criminal underworld allows him to navigate the complex networks of power and resources.
1.2. Creating a Cover Story:
To gain the trust of the public and the underworld, Vos crafts a narrative that Crimson Dawn is a humanitarian organization aimed at alleviating the suffering caused by the Clone Wars. This includes distributing food, medicine, and financial aid to refugees in the Undercity.
Step 2: Mobilizing Resources
2.1. Gathering Supplies:
Crimson Dawn uses its vast resources to acquire supplies through both legal and illegal means. This could involve negotiating with sympathetic suppliers, stealing from warehouses, or even using bounty hunters to procure goods.
2.2. Distributing Aid:
Vos sets up distribution points throughout the Undercity, staffed by Crimson Dawn operatives disguised as charity workers. This provides a façade of legitimacy and allows for the gathering of intelligence on local populations and potential recruits.
Step 3: Building a Network of Support
3.1. Community Engagement:
Crimson Dawn engages with local leaders and influential figures in the Undercity, providing aid in exchange for loyalty and support. By positioning themselves as benefactors, they begin to build a network of allies among the downtrodden.
3.2. Recruitment of Disenfranchised Individuals:
As the humanitarian efforts continue, Crimson Dawn identifies individuals with skills, such as former soldiers, mechanics, and navigators, who are desperate for work and a sense of purpose. These individuals are offered roles within Crimson Dawn, often with promises of wealth and protection.
Step 4: Covert Military Training
4.1. Training Recruits:
Under the guise of providing vocational training, Crimson Dawn begins to train these recruits in combat and guerrilla tactics. This training is conducted in secret, ensuring that the recruits remain loyal to Maul’s larger goals.
4.2. Establishing Cells:
The recruits are organized into small cells that can operate independently within the Undercity. This decentralized structure allows for flexibility and deniability, making it harder for the Republic or Jedi to trace these activities back to Maul.
Step 5: Strategic Operations
5.1. Sabotage and Disruption:
As the network of recruits grows, Maul directs them to conduct sabotage operations against Republic supply lines and infrastructure, further destabilizing the situation on Coruscant and inciting unrest among the populace.
5.2. Building Public Sentiment:
Crimson Dawn uses propaganda to portray the Jedi and the Republic as oppressors, framing their actions as a necessary rebellion against a corrupt system. This narrative can draw more individuals to their cause.
Step 6: The Endgame
6.1. Coordinating a Large-Scale Uprising:
With a significant force built from the ranks of the disenfranchised, Maul plans a coordinated uprising within the Undercity. This would catch the Republic off guard, leading to chaos that could spread to the surface levels of Coruscant.
6.2. Sacking Coruscant:
The ultimate goal is to create enough unrest and chaos to launch a full-scale attack on key locations within Coruscant, allowing Crimson Dawn to seize control and establish a new order under Maul’s leadership.
Conclusion
Through this multi-faceted strategy, Maul aims to exploit the vulnerabilities exposed by the Clone Wars, using humanitarian efforts as a cover for building a loyal army. By manipulating the suffering of the populace and positioning Crimson Dawn as their savior, Maul seeks not only to gain power but to position himself as a formidable force in the galaxy, ready to strike against the Jedi and the Republic at the opportune moment.

November, 2017. Thanks to public interest in its youngest members, the Armorican royal family is riding high on a wave of unprecedented popularity. Support for the monarchy is at all-time high, but life under the microscope could push them to the limit…
Previous | Chapter Start | Beginning | Chapter 4
Crown Princess Rosalind asks her father, Andre, King of the Armoricans for permission to propose to her girlfriend, Mary Yokoyama. Andre accedes to the match, and an elated Rosalind carries her joy into a meeting with her best friend/professional underling Theo Adams (who is also her younger brother's ex). From Theo, Rosalind learns that she is the subject of a new book by famed royal journalist Kristina Greene.
Meanwhile, Prince Frederick and his girlfriend Lady Emily are staying in Uspana and aiding in preparations for the Armorican's upcoming state visit. Emily is eager to become engaged, but Freddy is distracted by his frustrations with his family, particularly his younger brother, Prince Jacques.
Jacques has pulled out of the trip last-minute, but his wife, Vivienne, Duchess of Laye is still attending. He berates her for her clothing choices as she prepares with the trip, and the argument culminates in an incidence of physical violence, the first in their marriage.
Things are similarly strained between Andre and Queen Elise. Andre is planning to use the Uspanian trip to spend time with his mistress, Leonor Reyes, a princess of Uspana. Elise delivers an ultimatum: if Andre does not end his relationship with Leonor, she will file for divorce. Shaken but unable to defend his actions, Andre spends the night alone.
After arriving in Uspana, Vivi strikes up a conversation with the charming Julian Reyes, grandson of the formidable Queen Beatriz of Uspana. While Julian's uncle, Crown Prince Arnaut, scolds him for engaging in a dangerous flirtation with a married woman, Andre meets with Beatriz who suggests that he abdicate.
That night, the families convene for a formal state dinner, followed by a dance. Freddy and Emily share a tender moment on the dance floor while Vivi and Julián dance and flirt, deepening their attraction. Andre attempts to council Rosalind about the seriousness of her position and her relationship with Mary, but she grow suspicious when he begins to speak regretfully of the mistakes he has made in his relationship with her mother.
Andre and Leonor retreat to his room and have an intimate moment while Rosalind calls Mary, who is in Aducia, tracking down Freddy's ex-girlfriend Kelly Farrier and her young son, Arthur Farrier. Having illicitly secured a DNA sample for a paternity test, Mary is due to join the rest of the Armoricans in Uspana.
The next day, Freddy has a meeting with Theo. The two tour the museum exhibit he worked to create and rekindle their friendship, ending on a playful, affectionate note. Mary, meanwhile, is ambushed by the paparazzi at the airport -- someone has leaked news of her relationship with Rosalind and the sordid details of her first marriage, which ended with the mysterious disappearance of her still-missing husband. Pursued by the press, she flees to the safety of Nakawe palace, where she takes refuge with Rosalind. The two agree to an engagement but decide that they must find a "bigger story" to bury the scandalous story about Mary's past. The couple meet with Freddy and Emily, urging him to propose to divert media attention away from themselves. Freddy is reluctant, but ultimately decides to propose after a heart-to-heart with his father. Emily accepts, and the couple announce their engagement to the delight of the nation.
Mary and Rosalind attend their first public event as a confirmed couple, but most of the media focus remains on Freddy and Emily. Leonor persuades Andre not to veto the couple's relationship. After a false start, Vivi and Julián act on their attraction and have sex in her hotel suite.
The next morning is the Armoricans' final day in Uspana. Leonor and Andre part on a melancholy note, unsure when they will see one another again.
After returning to Armorica, Theo ends her relationship with line cook Rob Lewis. He goes to a bar to drown his sorrows and drunkenly agrees to an interview with Kristina Greene. Vivi returns to her marital home, and reconciles with Jacques. Andre returns home to Elise and informs her of his decision to end their marriage.
In the epilogue, Rosalind and Mary break into Kelly's apartment. DNA testing has confirmed that Arthur is Freddy's son, and the two break into her apartment to coerce her into signing an NDA and accepting a large annuity in exchange for her silence.

Since the big day, Jennifer has moved in with Gianni and Grayson and Olivia bought a home together.
Gianni learns one night that his father's sentencing hearing is soon. Grayson visits a favorite restaurant of Olivia's which could be closing soon.
Diana and her aged up crew attend her best friend, Alexandra's wedding. At bedtime, it is revealed that Diana is pregnant again.
Rose is also aged up and attending SimDonia Prepatory where she is looking up having a crush on a friend when her friend Aoki interrupts her. The two girls head to lunch together.
Bria and Emmitt are seen talking to their lawyer about KBE where they suggest turning the business into a nonprofit that she can be a patron of. They seem confident in their plan. At that time, they remember they have a meeting to attend at Willington Palace with the Queen.
Ella is in her college townhouse at BUS where she is seen reminiscing about prom. She remembers getting ready, Luka asking her, and the girls and their dates taking photos at the Palace. They enjoy a night in Paris themed Prom where Ella and Luka are crowned Prom King and Queen. During their dance, Luka begins questioning their relationship and he offends her to the point that she pushes him away causing Eric (who attended with his friend, McKenzie) to intervene.
Ella storms out of Prom and is followed by Eric who consoles her and helps her realize that it's time to breakup with Luka.
Ella is interrupted by Kali who is ready to go to college orientation, but Ella remembers she also has to get to the meeting at the Palace with The Queen.
At Willington Palace, Diana has gathered Ian, Sarah, Beckett, Elena, Spencer, Elizabeth, Emmitt, Bria and Ella in a drawing room. Gerhard and Lydia are also in attendance. Diana begins to tell everyone about the illness in her family which they have been secretly testing to find a cure. She tells them about the new treatment and that they are on their way to a cure.
Bria is upset that the Palace hasn't informed them and instead secretly tested on them especially her children. Lydia is mad that Bria didn't address Diana properly. Diana lets Bria know that this had to remain a secret to protect the royal family. Bria does not accept this and expresses that she thinks Diana cares more about the monarchy than the people in it. Spencer tries to help calm Bria but is unsuccessful. Bria demands her kids' records, says she will seek outside counsel, and leaves barring her children from being apart of the institution.
After the meeting, Lydia tells Diana how out of line Bria was with how she spoke to Diana as her Queen. Diana feels defeated. Lydia says she will take care of the kinks while Diana focused on the cure. She can trust her to do so.
In an undisclosed location, a secret meeting is taking place in a dark mysterious place filled with candles and religious statues. Masked men and women meet to discuss a plan in motion. One dark-haired member says she has the Queens trust, and the next phase of the plan can commence.

I need tips on how to study/revise for chemistry, especially physical chemistry.
Dear anon, I don't know whether you meant boards or competitive exams, so I covered for both since it is based on common ground anyway.
So👇
There is no other way that we could do well in physical chemistry except practice. A LOT.
What I understand about this dilemma (that I too have at this point, not fully solved) is that by the time you do at least 15 questions on a topic, you can get a grasp on the important formulae/which topics the questions hail from.
Mole concept : limiting reagent, M, m, w/w or w/v% (this particular option is not that frequent), reactions with stoichiometry coinciding with chemical kinetics, electrochemistry and metallurgy
Atomic Structure : which spectral series is in which region of the spectrum, sums with ratio of wavelengths (largest, smallest, comparison of different series), emission and absorption spectra, parts correlating to the physics part of energy levels and radius of hydrogen-like species
Gaseous state : GRAHAM'S LAW OF DIFFUSION (I cannot stress this enough, do it), the Cv and Cp values for Mono, Di and Polyatomic gases which connects thermo in Chem as well as Physics, mean free path proportionalities
Thermo (unit) : everything. All the laws, equations and graphs. adiabatic, isothermal, isochoric, my head and my tongue. Do every numerical in thermo. It's a weak point for a lot of us and we, right now, have the time to make it... Well, a not weak point.
Equilibrium : learn all the formulae and before you learn the formulae visualise/logically understand how something is happening. Log tables, roots, figure out some way to make decimal operations easier. A lot of sums from this one tpo because it isn't that connected to physics like thermo or electrochemistry
Redox : Make a trick for recognising which one is oxidation and which one is reduction. Balancing reactions must be practiced.
Solid state : Repetitive revision of the lattice examples is the only way we can remember them. Muscle memory can serve us well here. Make charts or stick it up on your wall to look at it every few days if that works for you. The rest are formulae and 4-5 numbers to be remembered. Density sums, chemical formula sums, voids sums <- practice
Solutions : formulae, how you get van't hoff factor for a compound, association and dissociation which is linked with electrochemistry molar conductivity part
Electrochemistry : formulae, graphs, molar conductivity sums, kohlrausch's law sums, electrolyte difference/spotting (will help in equilibrium), the cathode and anode of cells (this rarely comes)
Chemical Kinetics : some zero and first order reaction examples (will connect to radioactivity in nuclei chapter), half life formulae, and the 75% and 99% concentration formulae too (these 2 are not there in the tbk but it makes life easier in both phy and chem), all the graphs (should be able to read them even if they are messed around with or changed a bit)
Surface Chemistry : gold number sums, coagulation power and value orders in sols, recognising positive and negative sols, purification methods, electrophoresis definition (you'd be surprised how many times this came), helm holtz double layer theory, tindal's effect (connects a bit to optics, but vaguely), micelles (connects to bot biomolecules and cell unit). This chapter is very theoretical so keep revising stuff you don't get at first glance
Now briefly about Inorganic and Organic Chemistry:
Inorganic : write all the orders and the logics behind it. Some trends are weird so remember them with some trick (keep the tricks to the minimum in inorganic btw, it messes with your brain otherwise). That's as far as I've gotten with inorganic myself, but we can still work on it. If you have any advice regarding this, please do share.
Organic : understand the mechanism behind any reactions. Not just the way it's given in the textbook, but try to connect all organic chapters to each other. Practice a lot of questions, the direct ones as well as the weird ones. Organic does not have any tricks, it just requires practice and that can be done if we understand how each reaction goes about and why we do it.
Hope this helps you with Physical Chemistry and the like🤗 Thank you for approaching me with this so I could think out loud
Have a nice productive day!

The Story Of The Four Monkeys - Part Four
The funny thing about the matter is that this Plight Tree, which the Third Monkey destroyed more than once, is the biological mother of the Three Tushan Sisters (Honghong, Yaya, and Rongrong), which she gave birth to them later. The Three Tushan Sisters were born from the Plight Tree as fox spirits with folded ears, unlike the rest of the fox spirits with regular ears. The first sister, Tushan Honghong, has tremendous physical strength and hands that nullify all magical and extraordinary powers and abilities. The second sister, Tushan Yaya, the nine-tailed sky fox, has the ability of ice that can reach the highest stages of freezing. The third sister, Tushan Rongrong, has the mentality of extraordinary intelligence, wisdom, and strategic planning. She is the master of disguise and deception and the one with the palms of forgetfulness that makes everyone who receives them forget their own memories….

Analyzing Chapters: Wheel of Time
Book 7: A Crown of Swords
As of Chapter 12, 11:34
The book is really continuing to highlight the idea that the Aes Sedai in Rand’s presence really fucked up, and Egwene is seen as more of a puppet to her fellow Sisters despite being raised Amirilyn. So far, we see Rand is extremely tense regarding the random bundle of sisters that have made camp in Caihrienen, the Aiel’s continued distaste and distrust of the sisters, and Egwene having to play multiple sides at once. It also continues to convey the tension that is to come between Egwene and Rand, especially considering Rand is demanding fealty from the Aes Sedai and Egwene is steadfast in that the sisters are loyal to no one but the tower itself. As a result, the book has been hard to put down, and it will be interesting to see it play out.

Chapter 2 Summary
Destino was in their bed, sleeping and the heard the voice of someone mentioning how they were on of the six. Destino wakes but does not see anyone. They try to get back to sleep. It's incredibly disjointed so they awaken, grumpy.
Some Pokémon mention a higher being who is trying to contact them through the nightmares they've been getting but Destino shakes it off. Afterwards, they put on a suit they've been saving for a special occasion because another Pokémon shows off theirs. A Pokémon can been seen at the entrance of Destino's bedroom door.
When mentioned to Destino, the Pokémon kicks them to the ground with a crack. Destino struggles but this Pokémon is clearly stronger than they are. When asked, the Pokémon calls herself Theif. She appears to be a Blaziken. She says she's here to talk but Destino doesn't believe her. After a group of Pokémon gather to Destino's side, the Blaziken says she only wanted to knock Destino out as she figured it'd be easier to drag them to Arkaedia. Destino is confused by what she meant and then says the surface.
Theif mentions the surface world to the other Pokémon as well as places such as Terrestria, Naaturo and Whimsain and mentions she's come from a tunnel to the surface. Destino doesn't believe her so she mentions how their parents know about this. Destino becomes defensive at the implication that their parents have lied to them. Even with other Pokémon saying it too, they are in denial, getting angry with everyone.
Theif speaks of the the fact that Destino and 5 others need to stop a threat coming to destroy the world and they will need to head to the surface but is stuck on how to get them up their safely as Destino does not have any way to disguise themselves.
Destino's parents, Queen Karma and King Nox burst into the room, royal bodyguards Roy and Hershel following along. Theif surrenders and is taken down to the dungeon. Nox mentions how disappointed he is that the Bisharps failed at their duty. Queen Karma hugs Destino and comments on how wonderful it is that Destino is safe. She begins to get angry at the surrounding Pokémon but Destino convinces her that they've had them trained to fight for them. Queen Karma heads out, thanking everyone while leaving. Afterwards, Destino feels too angry to answer anymore questions.
Everyone else heads towards the dungeon and overhears a conversation between Queen Karma, King Nox and the Blaziken they have trapped. It appears they already know the Blaziken based on the way they speak about her. Theif mentions the prophecy and Queen Karma refuses to let the Blaziken take Destino to the surface. Queen Karma and King Nox then head to the surface to talk to King Flint about what has happened.
When questioned, Theif explains that Terrestria and the Underdark have the same mural and that the prophecy is linked to this. The prophecy mentions all of the Pokémon needed for the prophecy as a sentence.
-The one with the wings of an angel
-The one that is strong despite weakness
-The one with the kind-hearted soul
-The one with struggles to overcome
-The one with the strength of a storm
-The one enveloped in white
The Blaziken says this is roughly the wording she remembers.
She mentions that Terrestria and the Underdark have had good relations for a long while. When asked a out Destino's role in the prophecy, she mentions a pokemon who has saved the world multiple times because she knows about threats waiting to happen, so that's why she trusts that Destino is the one to save the world. She also mentions about the 4 kingdoms on the surface: Terrestria (ruled by King Flint), Mechania (ruled by King Bolt and King Spark), Naaturo (ruled by Queen Pollen) and Whimsain (ruled by Queen Melody and King Regis). She mentions how all of the eldest royal children are 22 years old.
When asked about her arms, Theif says she was born without them.
Destino heads down into the dungeon and spots all of the Pokémon they've spoken to are talking to the Blaziken. They sarcastically say they're hurt by everyone's betrayal. Lots of Pokémon try to convince them to go to the surface to save the world but they don't believe what's been said. They aren't taking it with seriousness. Theif notices that they seem scared however and are appearing to not care to hide this fact. Theif tells Destino about the relationship between the two kingdoms.
After a Pokémon talks to Destino sternly, this makes them let some feelings slip out that they didn't want to let anyone else know about. They accidently reveal that they once made a mistake that cost them a friend's life. This is why they don't want to take responsibility for anything, in fear ofmaming another mistake like the one before. This makes them feel down. A few pokemon talk to them and they anger a Kyogre with their lack of self-realisation.
After some more conversations, Destino is finally convinced to do something about the prophecy. The Blaziken reveals that her name is Hope and she is the next in line for the throne of Terrestria. She tells Destino the tunnel is in their parent's bedroom and they head up to find it. Looking in a couple of places, they eventually find a button in the wall and push it. Doors swing open to reveal a tunnel which seems to match the tunnel the Pokémon came through when they first came down.
Destino says they're going to go to a Pokémon who can help them with a disguise called Mistress Mirage. Felix also tags along and Destino tells them everything that has happened.
They head to the Underdark's forest and find one of the Zoruas that live with Mistress Mirage. His name is Rhith. After some threats, Rhith takes Destino to Mistress Mirage, a Zoroark and Weavile hybrid. Mistress Mirage mentions that she knows the Pokémon Destino is with are from the surface and she has eyes watching them. They both talk about their relationship with each other, Destino breaking up with Mistress Mirage because she tried to poison them.
Felix speaks with Rhith, mentioning the prophecy and how he feels about Destino.
Mistress Mirage mentions that Pokémon have different abilities depending on their types. Dark types can create illusions, poison types can identify, distribute and cute poisons and ghost types can do what you would expect a ghost to do.
It seems when around Mistress Mirage, Mews and Mewtwos cannot ask any questions because some strange beings prevent them from doing so, sending them back to their own worlds with weird effects happening to them.
When Destino asks for a full body illusion, Mistress Mirage says she will give them the means to transform their body if they kill the prince of the fairy kingdom, Kader. Destino struggles with this idea because they hate having to kill anyone but they also hate the fairy types for trapping their subject down in the Underdark for about 1000 years. Destino questions how she even knows about the prince of Whimsain when no other Pokémon knows that information. She says she disguises herself as one of the Bisharps and listens in to Destino's parents. Destino eventually agrees to her terms and a deal is struck.
Mistress Mirage explains that every Pokémon has a core and that core contains energy. That energy is used to use moves and abilities but is also used for Pokémon type abilities and what she will be doing is amplifying how much energy Destino can use so they are able to use the illusion ability. She starts the process and Destino faints from the sheer power they were given. Felix becomes incredible worried. Destino's body goes through the illusion process and they become a Leafeon. They hate this.
They decide on the name Viridis. When another Pokémon uses their aura abilities on Mistress Mirage, it is revealed she has power far beyond anyone's belief. She mentions that if they use their ability a lot, they will use more energy which means they may become tired, potentially loosing the ability to transform. Afterwards she teaches Destino how to transform back. After a while of practice, Destino finally gets the hang of using their illusion ability, even if they are quite slow.
Destino heads off back to the castle, Felix asking why they agreed to killing that easily. Destino says that they want to get back to relaxing as soon as possible so didn't want to waste time by arguing against it, even if they do hate the idea.
Mistress Mirage speaks with Rhith, saying she has known Destino is a part of the prophecy from the moment they were born. She then transforms into Destino and says that she can begin her plan.
End of chapter 2.

yeah i always have to skim through the previous chapter to try jogging my memory. But that also means if there was any important foreshadowing in a chapter before the previous chapter, i don't remember it :/ (and let's be honest, you can still miss important things with skimming )
that's why in the multi-chapter fic im writing, I have a section full of chapter summaries, that have like, a one to two paragraph description of each chapter? I've never seen anyone do it before in any fics i've read (although who knows, maybe i'm not the first to think it up), but i don't know why more people do it? It's great for remembering what's happened in previous chapters when you read a new one (especially since i'm shit at updating).
but i also did it for anyone who skips a chapter due to a trigger warning. So many fics have tws at the beginning of chapters, but never an alternate description of what happened in case you need to skip it? Like, you either have to push through and read the chapter and hope you don't get triggered by the content, or skip it and hope nothing too important happened in the chapter. Anyways.
(sorry that was a lot i tend to go off on tangents)
Me whenever I get a fanfic update more than three days after reading the previous chapter, trying to remember wtf the story was about:

Despite the pomp and grandeur of Prince Jacques and Vivi’s televised wedding, rumors persist about the couple’s troubled relationship. As the newly-minted Duchess of Laye, Vivi throws herself into charitable work while Jacques tries therapy at his mother’s urging.
Meanwhile, Crown Princess Rosalind enjoys her status as a press favorite while Prince Freddy attempts to clean up his image by collaborating on a joint Armorican-Uspanian project with Leonor Reyes (@nexility-sims). His enthusiasm for the project is somewhat dampened when he realizes that his father, Andre, King of the Armoricans, has been having an affair with Leonor.
Previous | Chapter Start | Beginning | 1994
A devastated Freddy is comforted by Emily, his personal assistant. The two have been growing ever-closer since they began working together—by design, it turns out. Emily has been scheming to get closer to Freddy, who is expected to marry sooner rather than later, and Emily intends to present herself as the ideal candidate for royal marriage. Despite her ulterior motives, she has been developing genuine feelings for him, complicating her plans.
In May, Jacques and Vivi embark on a royal tour, visiting five countries: Ilvalian, Nalore, (@atreanroyals), Illyria (@the-lancasters) Orillia (@theroyalthrones), and Aducia (@ardeney-sims). While in Illyria, Vivi befriends two members of the Illyrian royal family, Margaret Lancaster and Charles Lancaster. In their final tour stop, Jacques and Vivi have a chance encounter with Kelly Farrier, an ex-girlfriend of Freddy’s. Kelly is carrying a baby, who may or not be Freddy’s, but she disappears before they can make contact.
After consulting with Rosalind and her girlfriend Mary, Jacques and Vivi agree to keep the baby’s existence a secret until Mary is able to track Kelly down and get her to agree to a paternity test.
Cheerfully ignorant of the fact that he may have fathered a child with his ex-girlfriend, Freddy and Emily begin dating. After just six weeks together, Freddy and Emily’s relationship is made public by Rosalind, who exposes them in order to keep her own relationship with Mary a secret, because Mary is still legally married, although her husband has been missing for several years.
At the same time that Freddy, Emily, Mary, and Rosalind are discussing their response to the “leak,” Vivi runs into Charles Lancaster for a second time at a wedding reception. The pair flirt with one another but are interrupted before they can act on their mutual attraction.
The next day, Elise, Queen of the Armoricans, meets with Claudia Gianelli, the woman in charge of Jacques and Vivi’s household. Now revealed as a spy for Elise, the two discuss the Layes’ unhappy marriage before Elise returns to the palace to confront her own unhappy marriage with Andre.
A few days later, Rosalind is confronted by Theo Adams, a friend of Rosalind’s who briefly dated Freddy. Theo, a lawyer, had been working on a case against the Armorican government until Rosalind sabotaged her career by planting an exaggerated, negative story about her. To appease Theo, Rosalind offers her a job within the royal household.

Chapter 12 Summary
READ THE CHAPTER HERE OR READ THE SUMMARY BELOW
In Chapter 12, we follow all of our characters as we lead up to the wedding of the century!
In the beginning of the chapter, we find Diana getting back into horse riding, Gianni and Jennifer getting closer, and Olivia and Grayson excited to be engaged.
No one, of course, more excited than Bria who has already started planning but makes sure to try and include the couple. Ella tries to get used to the new royal dress code. While out with friends, Jennifer is questioned about their relationship status.
After meeting with Olivia, Bria, Olivia's mom, Grayson and Olivia meet to start discussing wedding planning in depth. They decide on Creeksbrey Palace as the venue.
Diana reconnects with her best friend, Arabella, and they worry about their absent friend, Alexandra, who hasn't been seen much since her relationship with Alex Goth Jr.
In a meeting with her Monarchy Advisor, Diana also wants to reconnect with Bria (who's enjoying her new joint office with Emmitt) by giving her son a title upon his marriage. Bria refuses it and sees it as a sign of control from Diana.
Bria coordinates a dress fitting and engagement photos. Grayson and Olivia start planning by choosing their bridal parties. While asking Gianni to be his best man, he sparks a conversation between Gianni and Jennifer. In the end, they decide to be official! They host a Spooky Day party at Gianni's house where he meets her brother.
They hang out the next day at Jennifer's house where Gianni invites Jennifer to the wedding. Jennifer decides that she wants to take their relationship to the next level and the couple woohoo.
Ella and her friends talk about Prom specifically dates. Ella is reluctantly going with Luka, of course. Eric reveals that he's going with his friend. Chanel asks some guy in their gym class while Victoria worries if her crush will ask her.
Arabella finds their friend, Alexandra. Her parents had her put in rehab after her partying spiraled after her relationship with Alex Goth Jr. She's doing better and even met someone.
Gerhard is preparing for the Victory Games, his first large solo project where countries compete in sports for charity. Shortly after the games, Diana gives birth to a baby girl, Princess Mia. The couple celebrate with a quick vacation to Simovia with Spencer and Elizabeth. They also celebrate their birthdays.
Gianni meets Jennifer's family and reveals some of his past with women. The dinner goes well. Gianni asks Bria if he can bring a plus one to the wedding finally revealing his girlfriend to his all-knowing mother. Jennifer is nervous about meeting his royal family but he reassures her. The family loves her upon their arrival.
Family starts to pour in as we get closer to the big day. Many events to be had. Esther hosts the bridal shower at her home. Bria flies everyone out to Sulani for a spa bachorette party where Grayson's Simerican cousins convince Olivia to go out.
Grayson is nervous about his mysterious bachelor party plans from Gianni. Olivia enjoys a fun night out at a nightclub with her friends and Grayson's family. Surprisingly, Gianni takes the men camping. Gianni and Grayson have a heart to heart. On their last night, Gustavo calls Grayson from jail so congratulate him and apologize for being a bad dad.
The museum where the couple first officially met is where the rehearsal dinner is held. Donovan shows up to the party uninvited to apologize to his Olivia. She accepts only is he apologizes to Grayson which he does. Emmitt gives a heartwarming toast.
The ladies get ready in Bria's closet while the men get ready in the family room. Bria leaves heartfelt letter to both Olivia and Grayson. The guest list is intimate and has many high-profile people. The bridal party included close friends and family. The couple exchanged beautiful vow then celebrated the happy union with their guests at the reception.
Gianni met with an old friend, Nick Wilkinson, who he hadn't seen since he was an embarrassed teen as Nick's movie premiere. They had a heart to heart. Soon after, Gianni ended the night telling Jennifer he loved her which she returned!
After the beautiful event, the family left and the happy couple went to their Selvadoradian honeymoon leaving Bria and Emmitt to reflect on their kids growing up.

Silent Rage (My Heart Is A Chainsaw chapter 7 summary)
So the sheriff and Jade kind of have this father-daughter relationship. Overall, kind of sad because Jade’s dad is an alcoholic (girl, same). Sheriff Hardy found Jade’s notebook, and it has all of the essays for Mr. Holmes but it's also Jade’s personal diary. Jade is really nervous about Sheriff Hardy having that notebook, but Jade was able to sweet talk Sheriff Hardy and he gives back the notebook. After Sheriff Hardy gave Jade the stern dad talk, Sheriff Hardy drops Jade off. When Jade walks in, her dad notices a cop car dropped Jade off, and he tells her if she keeps bringing the cops near his home he will kick her out. Even when Jade was trying to explain to her dad that Sheriff Hardy dropped her off he wasn’t taking ANY of it. Jade storms off and Jade’s mind wanders off and she starts to think Letha is going to be the hero of this “story”.
Then it cuts back to the essay for Mr. Holmes, and she is explaining what happened at “camp blood”. The person she interviews is the number one father figure in her life currently Sheriff Hardy, and he explains what happens. So the actual camp is called Winnemucca, and Sheriff Hardy went to that camp when he was 11. A series of murders happen at the camp a boy dies with a wasp nest in his mouth while facing down in the water, a girl is pushed in a meat grinder, and a girl is EATEN BY OTHER CAMPERS. As for the last one, Sheriff Hardy saw this one, but he didn’t call for help or anything because he needed to pee. Also, Sheriff Hardy kinda implies that this other guy is actually Jade’s dad because she looks like him. Overall this is what I got from the chapter.
