CHAOTIK OHHH MY GOSH I AM BLOWN AWAY

I can't believe this, it's so beautiful. The composite of the team and Y/n is stunning and I adore how smoothly it flows from one side to the other, letting the 'mons have their little places but keeping the vigilante and Hydreigon front and center! I'm trying to not cry over how beautiful they gather around the soothe bell. It's so sweet and I'm melting over this entirely!!! It's also a treat to see so many Pokemon in their different sizes and shapes together as a team ♥

OH! And I am obsessed with rendering and textures and lighting. I love that the warehouse gives this feeling of gloomy darkness but the light and the team all gathered underneath it promises that everything will be okay. The little glow and sparkles to the soothe bell hanging from Hydreigon's neck are such a lovely effect.

I also love the little forehead touch between Y/N and Hydreigon. You can immediately see how close their bond is and the love they share as he wears the soothe bell. Absol looking up with a gaze of awe is beautiful, and his fur is so well down and wonderfully shaded. I've been staring at Milotic's tail for the last 3 minutes and I'm obsessed with the shine and how beautifully you captured the pattern. Ah, Banette is adorable with her pose and how close she is to Scoliopede! Ogling how Scolipede's shell and colors work under the lighting and how gorgeous he's done! Corviknight's is done so perfectly, from his pose to his eyes, ohhh I love the different textures of feathers and metal!

I've read your drabble several times and I love it dearly. I love how it captures the struggle and their current situation of figuring things out and dealing with the harshness of the past. The last little bit about bells and ribbons is *mwah* Perfection!

“Hydreigon is struggling.

Today marks the second time he has snapped at one of his own team members in so many days. He has never gone too far, and any minor scuffles end before you can even intervene, but you can see it in his eyes.

The frustration.

The anger.

Guilt sinks in your heart like a needle as you are reminded you are the one that put those in him, just as they were placed into you. It's what you grew up with. What you both grew up with. What any training you both did was based on. It made you unstoppable, but now more than ever you can see how it has hurt you.

You hate that it hurts him too.

He's trying.

You know he is.

A certain level of aggression is natural in his species. It was thoroughly encouraged and intensified as he grew. As he evolved. But so did your bond. It brings a lump to your throat when you realize that he values the latter the most. When you see him trying to hold back, to reign in, to use less force.

He trusts you.

He has tried his best to follow this new path you settled on. This path so different from all he knows. From everything you have asked from him.

You couldn't call yourself a trainer if you didn't in good conscience do everything you can to help him.

And so here you are.

You beckon him closer and easily slide the ribbon of the soothe bell around his neck. Your first gift to him that is untouched by the wealth of the Aftons.

He seems a bit confused, but when the soft chime echoes inside the old warehouse that has become your temporary refuge, his eyes slide close for a moment. Some of the tension that has been ever present in him these last couple of days melts away. You bump your forehead against his, just like you used to do when he was a small Deino, and softly smile as your whole team comes closer.

When Hydreigon open his eyes again, everyone is gathered.

They are also concerned about their teammate. They seem to sense the significance of the bell, going by how they all curiously regard it.

It's nothing but a small help, but you hope it will make things easier until he can get used to this new routine.

Ha.

You wish they made these for people as well.

You can't stop your smile from turning into a mischievous one.

It’s finally done! A while ago @naffeclipse answered an ask about pokemon teams for the Sleuth Jesters main cast and some of the choices made my pokemon loving self go absolutely insane, so I decided to draw the teams! First off is the vigilante’s team! :D
