Here's another batch of Spaceverse art, this time including some older pieces from before we officially started the RP. This batch includes characters on the Vault, where the whole RP started, and some other Interstellar Police (ISP) characters not previously included in past posts.
In order, we have: Ramiro, Tracey, Jia Mei, Josefa with Martim, then some sketches that predate this RP, including a past picture of Jose and Martim, Martim solo, then Bogdan, Rayen, Samora, Philippe, Ace, Mei, Gemma, Ruth, Josefa, Petra, then Petra again, her son Nikki, Ace, Mark, Jax, Rigo, Grace (not adapted yet), Boyd (not adapted yet), Jin Sidao (not part of the ISP, but a major criminal) and Tony one of his lieutenants.
All of these older sketches but Jose still need Spaceverse AU sketches, but these were worth archiving for reference. One difference for example will be that Philippe is part ice Fae/oighear in Spaceverse, in addition to his fox shifter heritage, so whenever I draw him a new portrait, he'll have pointed Fae ears.
Jax belongs to Cookie and I need to adapt a different character to fill the role I have set up for him. Mark belongs to Sakume (and needs a new sketch of his cyborg self.) The rest of these characters belong to me.

ive made gifs with downloaded files but I've never done it with from a DVD before and want to learn how. do you know how or have any tutorials on hand for how to do that?
Hi there!! So making a gif from a DVD isn't all too different from making one from a download file. You need to be able to insert the DVD into your computer. Then you can either make frames from the DVD itself or clip it and use those videos. Just like you would from a download file!
Here are a couple of posts I found that you can refer to for help :)

Hope that helps!

Nailers' Desruisseaux Named Warrior Hockey ECHL Player of the Month
Tumblr media
The ECHL has announced that Wheeling Nailers forward Cédric Desruisseaux has been named the Warrior Hockey ECHL Player of the Month for October. Desruisseaux, 23, got his third professional season started with a phenomenal road trip, as he collected multiple points in all three of Wheeling's contests to help the club to a 2-1-0 record. On Opening Night, Cédric snapped a 1-1 tie in the first period, then added another goal as well as an assist, as the Nailers defeated the Cincinnati Cyclones, 4-1. Then, on October 27th, the Warwick, Québec native posted a four-point game with one goal and three assists, as Wheeling cruised past the Kalamazoo Wings, 7-2 on orange ice. His goal tied the contest at two, following a successful 1:57 penalty kill of a 5-on-3. Finally, Desruisseaux dished out two assists on October 28th against the Fort Wayne Komets. Cédric concluded October with three goals, six assists, and nine points in three games. This is Desruisseaux's third season with the Nailers, as he was originally acquired in a trade with the Trois-Rivières Lions in March of 2022. Cédric recorded seven points in 11 regular season games at the end of that year, then added a pair of assists in seven playoff clashes. Last season, Desruisseaux led Wheeling in all offensive categories with 30 goals 29 assists, and 59 points, and was one of three players to appear in all 72 regular season games. His second point on Saturday was the 100th of his 128-game professional career between Wheeling, Trois-Rivières, and the AHL's Laval Rocket. The ECHL Player of the Month first got awarded during the 1996-97 season, and Desruisseaux is the sixth Wheeling player to win the award. The previous five winners were Steve Gibson (March, 1997), Brendon Hodge (April, 2006), Tommy Goebel (October, 2008), Ben Street (December, 2010), and Cam Brown (December, 2018). Cédric Desruisseaux and the Wheeling Nailers will begin their home season on Saturday night at 7:10, when they play the first of two games this weekend against the Reading Royals. Opening Night will feature Mad Chad Taylor - the chainsaw juggler, as well as a magnetic schedule giveaway, and the debut of Nail Ale by Big Timber Brewing. Season memberships and other terrific ticket plans for the 2023-24 season are available now by calling (304) 234-GOAL. The Wheeling Nailers, considered one of the top things to do in Wheeling, West Virginia, provide affordable family entertainment for fans throughout the Ohio Valley. Read the full article

Steven Turek of the DieCast Movie Podcast joins the Decades of Horror Classic Era Grue Crew for this episode and, in fact, picked the topic of discussion, Horrors of the Black Museum, an American-British production distributed by American International Pictures and Anglo-Amalgamated Film Distributors. As Steven points out, even though the film is blatantly billed in the U.S. as containing Hypno-Vista, there is nary an example of hypnosis in the story. For Steven, this Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde mashup is all about inventive kills with a few gadgets thrown in for good measure.
Daphne points out that Horrors of the Black Museum is part of what has been called Anglo-Amalgamated’s Sadian trilogy along with Circus of Horrors (1960) and Peeping Tom (1960). From her point of view, it’s a fun film and she most enjoys Michael Gough’s arrogant character and the incredible kills.
Michael Gough’s scenery-chewing performance is what stands out for Chad in Horrors of the Black Museum. It’s an example of good acting coupled with a zany story with seemingly arbitrary twists and insane kills. Jeff agrees with Chad’s appraisal of Gough’s performance. For him, Horrors of the Black Museum is not a great movie, but it sure is fun watching Michael Gough chewing accompanied by the unique kills, the first of which takes place within the first three minutes of the movie.
Now, about that HypnoVista thing. A thirteen-minute prologue was added to the U.S. release by the folks at AIP as a Castle-esque gimmick. It featured hypnotist Emile Franchele and obliquely introduces the HypnoVista concept. Most streaming sources do not include this prologue, but it can be viewed here: Hypno-Vista intro of Horrors of the Black Museum  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LWgU1lJHB4k
At the time of this writing, Horrors of the Black Museum is available to stream from the Classic Horror Movie Channel, Wicked Horror TV, and Tubi.
Be sure to check out our very own Whitney Collazo and Daphne Monary-Ernsdorff as they join Steven and Alistair Hughes for a discussion of Hammer’s Vampire Lovers (1970) on Diecast Movie Podcast episode 125/Hammerama 7. Steve also conducts a very interesting interview of Whitney on episode 118.
Gruesome Magazine’s Decades of Horror: The Classic Era records a new episode every two weeks. Up next in their very flexible schedule is one chosen by guest host and special effects artist Dirk Rogers: Matango (Attack of the Mushroom People, 1963). Get ready for some body horror from Toho and Ishirô Honda!
Please let them know how they’re doing! They want to hear from you – the coolest, grooviest fans: leave them a message or leave a comment on the Gruesome Magazine YouTube channel, the site, or email the Decades of Horror: The Classic Era podcast hosts at [email protected]
