Thought I'd share this, since just helped a friend solve this...but if anyone is experience their dash out of chronological order even though you have 'following' pinned. Be sure to also turn off the old 'buttons' in your dash setting. They supposedly 'don't work' anymore...but apparently do? But yeah, spread this if you want for anyone having chronological dash issues.
