no need to acknowledge but wanted to let you know that i bought your first book on Monday afternoon and just finished the third this morning, forgoing regular sleep and (some) family responsibilities. i’ve been on a hades/persephone kick lately and your series was the third i’ve read this month and by far my favourite. i’m deeply obsessed with and in awe of the tightly woven threads of the world you’ve created. the moment that stays with me the most is aidon’s heartbroken “i was finally happy” in the throne room. even if there’s no more, and i hope there will be, i’m so glad to have read these!
Oh wow!! I love hearing this.
And I distinctly remember the day I wrote that scene. I had a good long cry afterwards.
I absolutely have plans for more books but creating time to write with life as it is, is the challenge right now. Currently working on The Ineffable Seeds, the fourth story in the series that will heavily feature Dionysos and Ariadne.
Also working on a stand alone book, The Selkie and Mrs. Cawley, set at the end of the 18th century.

Hi!! I finished my 3rd, or 4th lol, re-read of The Good Counselor last night, and, once again, I cried like a baby. The whole Zagreus situation, their arguments, and Hades visiting Persephone in her dreams to release her just broke my heart. But then you put it back together, as you always do🥰, with that ending and them having the twins. I love your take on this myth so much, and your writing is superb! I can't wait to read The Ineffable Seeds. Do you have a rough estimate of when it will be released? Thank you😊😊😊
Wooo I wish I did! Thank you so much!!
I was really worried when I put out The Good Counselor because, like, people are showing up for the smut and staying for the plot? but this book was HEAVY on plot and with the major theme being LOSS in all its forms, I thought I really might lose people with this one.
It took a lot out of me for me to write The Good Counselor and there was an oddly superstitious part of me that didn’t want to write a few integral parts of the book while I was pregnant.
After a long battle with PPD that had the side effect of putting a stop to my writing for a couple years, then the busyness that comes with being a parent, I finally was able to finish the manuscript in mid-2021.
Rounds of edits, marketing 🤢 and the like and I got it into people’s hands on the Spring Equinox of 2022, a full six years after I published Destroyer of Light.
It was a hard book to write. Emotionally taxing for reasons I don’t like to discuss too often.
So I have been working on a few non-series projects since then, one of which is The Selkie and Mrs. Cawley, about a 18th century girl who makes a deal with a 900 year old selkie to pose as her husband and save her island from a landowner.
It’s a lot lighter than TGC. Before I dove into the deep with The Ineffable Seeds, which will revolve around the consequences of TGC and Dionysos’s self awakening, and Makaria and Melinoe’s journeys through early adulthood, I needed a palate cleanser.
I’m at 85% with The Selkie, and hope to complete the manuscript after the kiddo starts back to school.
