I Can Help
Vampire!San and Pet!reader
Loud coughs wracked your frail frame as you got out of bed and tried to make yourself presentable to see your master this morning.
You found it difficult to breathe and every so often you had to expectorate, coughing up distasteful greenish yellow phlegm that added to your already sick feeling.
After trying to make your appearance decent in your eyes you went in to your master's room. San was speaking on the phone with someone when you walked into the room.
He glanced at you and smiled, causing you to feel slightly dizzy at the brilliance of his dimpled smile. You watched him eye you hopefully and tap his lap as if hoping that you would catch on to his wishes, and instinctively you went to him, settling into his lap and listening in to the conversation that he was having with the person on the phone.
Another wet cough rattled your chest and you held your hand over your mouth to stifle any other sounds that were likely to leak from your mouth. San furrowed his eyebrows and ended the call, turning to you with a worried face.
"Are you sick, princess?" He asked while rubbing his hand down your back in comforting movements that eased some of the discomfort in your chest.
"Uh..." You wasn't certain how to respond since you didn't want to appear weak to him. San listened as you coughed again, unwittingly confirming his suspicions that you were indeed sick.
"Let me help you, Y/N." His cold knuckles slowly brushed against your cheek in feathery, repetitive motions, prompting you to relax into his touch and he smiled cheerily at the way you accepted his attention.
You allowed him to lift you in his arms and lie you down in his bed, running his hand across your sweaty forehead and kissing your hair lightly after covering you with care with the comforter that was on his bed before leaving you alone.
The feverish sensation worsened as you waited for your master to return, which led you to feel disoriented and weak. You had been San's pet for a few days, having been taken into his home and adopted after he had found you freezing in the cold outdoors and you were adjusting quickly to the new life in his home.
Your master returned with a container that he had undoubtedly purchased at a restaurant.
"Is that... for me master?" Your eyes widened in surprise, cautiously taking the warm bowl from him because inside of your heart you were afraid to jump to conclusions that San had went out of his way for you.
"It's just for you," The vampire smiled warmly while he helped you sit upright in bed, allowing you to rest your weight against the headboard of his bed.
"Thank you, master." You spoke softly, inhaling the aromatic soup that he had brought for you.
Gingerly you raised the spoon to your mouth and began to eat the savory soup that was filled with vegetables and protein that would be necessary and beneficial for you to become healthier.
"I want you to get better." San replied, settling in next to you while you ate.
"How is it?" He asked softly, touching your hair and nestling into you.
"It's delicious..." You smiled, stating the truth in spite of almost feeling too sick at your stomach to eat.
"Is there anything else that you would want? Something to drink?" San was still learning how to care for you and he wanted to make certain that you wouldn't lack of anything that you may need.
"Can I please have orange juice?" You requested in a hushed tone.
"Of course, angel. I'll be right back with it." He leaned in and kissed the tip of your nose sweetly and disappeared before you knew it.
Your cough returned to remind you that you were still sick in spite of the pleasant buzz that infiltrated your body and you suddenly realized that somehow you had forgotten how miserable you felt as long as your master was with you.
The vampire quickly returned with a glass of orange juice as promised. You gratuitously took it from him and drank the sweet fluid from the glass, being unaware of the satisfied smile that spread across San's features.
"Thank you, all of it was very delicious." You smiled shyly as you gave the empty dishes back to your master, who readily held his hands out for the objects.
"What's important is your health, Y/N. I want you to grow stronger and be happy." He replied thoughtfully while setting the dishes on the bedside table.
You watched him as a strong sense of fatigue came over you. Silently you hoped that he would stay with you for a little bit, though you didn't feel entitled to his time but you still wanted to experience his affection.
San seemed to pick up on your desire, lingering with you and watching your actions curiously while you struggled to try to make yourself comfortable.
"I can help." He promptly helped to adjust your position in the bed, giving you a comforting hug after you were situated into a more relaxed position, lying flat on your back and doing your best to breathe.
"Relax and concentrate on getting better, princess." The vampire planted a loving kiss to your cheek.
You gazed back up at him with weak, yet dreamy eyes, wondering why he was being so nice to you but you wasn't about to complain.
He threaded his fingers in your hair, soothing you to the point of nearly forgetting that you were stuffed up and ready to empty the contents of your stomach at any given time.
You felt that you would get well soon as long as your master was with you. San watched your lashes flutter close, indicating that you were about to get some rest and he made up his mind to stay with you so that he would be there for you when you woke up.

When the Sun Begins to Fall
Hello everyone, the first chapter of my first AWAE fic is now up on AO3! I am very excited to share it all with you(: special thanks @royalcordelia for being an absolute gem and editing it for me! Enjoy!
https://archiveofourown.org/works/21255530/chapters/50608787
Chapter One
“...And that things are not so ill with you and me as they might h-have been, is half owing to the number who li-lived faithfully a hidden life, and rest in un- unvisited tombs."
“Wonderful job Emily, much improved.” Anne Shirley rested her hand on the young girls shoulder, squeezing it in reassurance. Emily smiled and handed the beloved Miss Shirley back her copy of Middlemarch before making her way back to her seat. Anne decided to do the same, feeling slightly drained after having a cold the last few days. She detested sitting during class, but occasionally she felt the need to make an exception.
Behind her desk, she folded her hands and stared at the twenty children sitting before her.
“Now class, I know you are all anxious to go about your weekend, but...” She paused for a moment to let out a chesty cough into her sleeve. “Excuse me. But I would like for all of you to practice your texts for at least an hour each day, and then write a small paragraph about what you have read to be turned in on Monday.”
Groans erupted from her students as she felt another cough rising in her throat. She understood their frustration, as she was ready to go home herself. Over the last couple of days, she had been finding it harder and harder to make herself rise from her bed in the morning. Every muscle in her body seemed to be working against her and the pains she had in her lungs have made enjoying the morning walks impossible. She coughed into her handkerchief, managing to clear her throat enough to talk, “Now now, I understand your frustrations, however, think of all the wonderful places you can travel within,” she coughed once more, this time harder. She could not seem to get the phlegm out of her throat and it was most aggravating.
After one additional cough, phlegm loosened and made its way up. She looked down and what she thought would be a ball of gunk, was actually a tiny red dot. For a moment, the dot gave her pause but she was soon brought back when a student cleared their throat. Shoving the rag in her apron, she smiled up at her students. “Ah, yes, sorry. I believe I am getting a cold. Class, you are free to go, enjoy the world around you.”
Without hesitation, everyone began bustling about the room, gathering their items and talking about their weekend plans. Anne observed for a moment before she turned on her heels, heading to her office. Shutting the door behind her, she pulled handkerchief out of her pocket and brushed her fingers against the dot. Blood?
“No,” she whispered, “perhaps it's something I ate.” Although she said it with surety, she wasn’t convinced. Ever since she was young she has had an overactive imagination and the places her mind were going right now were plenty. None of them were good either.
A knuckle tapped against the door causing Anne to jump and drop the rag. “Come in,” she yelled as she bent down to grab it. She must have stood up too quickly because instantly the room was spinning and she felt as if she could faint. Bracing herself against her desk as she tried to regain her composure, the door opened to reveal Minnie May Barry, who over the last few years, she had truly grown into a beautiful young lady. Her mouse brown hair fell in gentle ringlets and her doe brown eyes sparkled even on the darkest day, the only girl who could possibly be prettier than her in Avonlea would be Diana. When Anne was a girl, should would have given anything to look like either of the Barry girls.
“Anne?”
“Minnie May, I’m Miss Shirley during school,” Anne mumbled as she rubbed her forehead. The room was still dancing around her, causing her to use extra effort just to focus on standing upright. She felt that if she didn’t sit immediately, she would surely faint.
“Well schools not in session now, so you’re Anne,” Minnie May retorted. Normally Anne would scold her, telling her to stop acting smart with her but she couldn’t find the energy. She pulled out her desk chair and attempted to sit gracefully but somehow she missed the chair and landed on the floor with a plop. Minnie May raced towards her and grabbed her arm, attempting to pull her up. “Are you alright, Anne!?”
Embarrassed, Anne accepted her help and pulled herself up into the chair. “Oh yes, I am fine. Just a little dizzy is all. I must have accidently laced my corset to tightly this morning.” Minnie May did look assured so Anne plastered the best smile she could muster. “What did you need, dear?”
Minnie May hesitated for a brief moment before she spoke. “Diana is coming home tomorrow from Paris. Mama wanted me to ask if you were still bringing your famous apple pie.”
Anne silently cursed herself for feeling ill. Oh, why this weekend of all weekends? The one I am supposed to reunite with my bosom friend after she has been away for so long. Of all the unlucky things in my life, this is the worst so far. “Of course I will be there,” she managed utter before she went into a fit of rough, dry coughs. Somehow this fit felt worse than before, it made her head pound. She looked in her tea pot hoping she had a little left but was left feeling disappointed to find it empty. Minnie May, understanding what was needed, pulled a jar of milk out of her lunch pail, gesturing it towards her. Grateful, Anne took the jar and poured it into her cup. In between coughs, she sipped slowly as Minnie May looked on. It felt cool on her throat and her coughing began to cease.“Thank you.”
Minnie May nodded, concern crossing her face as she took the jar back from Anne. “Are you sure you’re alright?”
“Oh yes, just a cold. A good night of rest and I will be right as rain in the morning.” Anne smiled brightly taking her young friend’s hand within her own. “Now run along and let your mother know that of course I am bringing my pie, and I am anxiously awaiting tea time.” A smile danced on Minnie May’s lips as she turned and skipped out towards the front of the room, where she had a large group of friends awaiting her arrival. Anne looked on, letting her smile fall into a gaze of nostalgia. How she missed walking home with Diana after classes, seeing her bosom friend daily and recanting stories of adventure and wonder.
She turned towards her desk, momentarily forgetting the sharp pain in her temples and pulled out the half heart locket that she shared with Diana. The locket now shared the chain with a small silver key that looks as if it came straight from a fairy tale. Her hand reached to the top of her desk, where a locked drawer held her greatest treasures. Slowly she unlocked the drawer and began pulling out each item carefully. On top, lay Matthew’s “Most Unusual” ribbon from the county fair mere months before he passed. She held it close for a moment, thinking how proud he was of that radish and how they ate the entire vegetable over the course of the following week. She chuckled, she hasn’t been able to stomach radish ever since. A cough escaped her lips as she pulled out the blue ribbon Diana had worn almost everyday of their friendship. She had been bestowed it not long before Di had left for Paris, asking her to always keep it close. She decided she would bring it tomorrow for tea, to show she had indeed kept her promise.
Next she pulled her copy of Jane Eyre given to her by Aunt Josephine for her sixteenth birthday. Inside of that held the portrait that Cole had penned of her so many years ago, along with flowers she had pressed from various occasions. A carnation from Matthews funeral, a daisy from Mary’s garden, dandelions from the first flower crown Dellie had made for her, and a wildflower picked by Gilbert while they walked the White Way of Delight after receiving their scores from the Queen's entrance exam.
At the thought of the curly haired friend she had cared for so deeply, the pain in her chest worsened. She scolded herself. Push away those thoughts Anne, he is happy, you are happy. But she was lying to herself, as she had been everyday for the last two years. Even she, who had never had any issue with describing her feelings, struggled to find words to describe how much she missed her friend and academic rival.
Before she could stop herself, she reached into the back corner of the drawer, pulling out a pocket dictionary and a bundle of letters. She ran her fingers along the spine of the book, that had begun to tear on the edges due to constant use. “So you can beat me fair and square,” she whispered, opening up the cover out of habit. She never did get to truly beat him. The last time they competed was at the Queens entrance exams, which they both ended up in first place and became dual recipients of the prize money. It should have made her angry but when he came to Green Gables to tell her the news, they both hugged without any indication of malice.
A smile danced on her lips once more as she turned her eyes to the letters, all of them from one sender. She pulled out the top letter, which was clearly much older than the rest due to its dark yellow hue. The envelope was falling apart from the letter coming out so often although now she didn’t have to read it to know its contents. It had been memorized for years. Her smile widened when suddenly she felt something rising in her throat. One, two coughs escaped her lips before she sputtered out crimson liquid on the envelope. She dropped the envelope in horror, only now realizing it felt like someone was poking an ice pick into her skull.
Well that’s not good… Quickly she began putting her items back in their designated spot, when she turned her attention back to the envelope on the floor. Slowly, not wanting to make the room start spinning again, she bent down to pick it up and laid it gently on the desk, not wanting it to drip onto any of her other treasures. She pulled the key from the drawer and placed it gently around her neck, deciding it was finally time to attempt standing. It took longer than it would usually but eventually she was standing on her own two feet without support. She fastened her shawl around her shoulders, it was warm for a september afternoon but she felt slightly chilled.
Stepping out of her office, she locked the door behind her and made her way through the center aisle, using each desk as additional support, stopping for only a brief moment at the fourth one back. She would use the excuse that she needed to catch her breath but she always found herself drawn to the desk her old rival used to sit at. It sat empty every day, none of her students chose to sit at it, but she felt a more powerful force at work. Like they were saying that spot belonged to Gilbert and to him alone.
Another cough pulled her gaze from desk. She made her way to the door as another rose in her throat only this time it was joined by a metallic taste. A taste she had become used to all too quickly. She managed to pull her handkerchief out just as the blood rose in her throat. The spot was larger this time but not as much as she had brought up in her office, which she was grateful for. Shoving it back in her apron, she fished the schoolhouse key from the other pocket. Around her, images began to blur. She managed to get the key into the lock on the fourth attempt.
“Auntie!” A sweet voice called from behind her seconds before arms tackled her legs with a bear hug. Anne braced herself against the wall and began to see stars.
“Oh, hello Dellie!” she said as cheerfully as she could manage. The dizziness was worsening now but in truth, she was happy to see the little girl who had brought so much joy into her life over the last three years.
“Careful Dellie, you don’t want to knock Queen Anne over now, do ya?” Sebastion called from a little farther down the path, carrying a basket in one hand. He greeted her with a toothy grin and Dellie released her legs, opting to hold Anne’s hand in one of her own, and her father’s in the other. Anne looked down to see the the basket filled to the brim with gorgeous red apples.
“Oh, those must be the apples for the pie,” Anne smiled softly, unsure if she could manage more. She of all people loved conversation but today, she was willing the conversation to end soon. All she wanted at the moment was a cup of tea and one of Marilla’s quilts draped over her lap.
“Yes they are. Freshly picked today, especially for you, by Miss Delphine Lacroix,” As he said her name, he poked Dellie’s cheek, sending her into a fit of giggles. He joined in her laughter and poked her again. Anne wished she could join in their joy, but something was feeling very wrong at that moment. Her face suddenly felt flush and the world around her spun so quickly, she felt she was going to puke. “Sorry for bringing them here, but you know how much she loves seeing the school…” he stopped suddenly, his eyes finally reaching her face. His smile dropped instantly and looked at her with great concern. “Anne, are you alright?”
Before she knew what was happening, her knees gave way and she fell forward, ripping her hand away from Dellies.
“ANNE!” Bash caught her with ease, throwing the apples on the ground. Dellie stood stock still for the first time in her life.
“Bash,” Anne whispered, “I think I am in need of assistance getting ho-” she was interrupted by the worst coughing fit she had all day. Everything hurt, her lungs were on fire, her head felt like it was going to come off of her shoulders, and the world continued to spin.
“Auntie?” Dellie had begun to cry. Anne wish for nothing more to reach out and wrap Dellie up in her arms, tell her that she was okay but her body betrayed her. Her body felt like Atlas holding up the sky. She was tired. So incredibly tired. I just need to rest my eyes...just for a few moments... The last thing she remembered before falling asleep was Bash picking up Dellie, throwing her onto his back before he picked up Anne, and began running to Green Gables.

COVID19 FAQ/CLARIFICATION
(From Singapore's Ministry of Health: https://www.moh.gov.sg/covid-19/faqs)
[Relevant as of 27 March 2020]
Introduction
Hello everyone. Firstly I would like to inform you that I am from Singapore, and we are fighting alongside everyone against the Corona virus. Secondly, all the information I present will be taken directly from my country's government and the link has been provided above as I am not a medical student. Thirdly, please do take this pandemic seriously as it is NOT a laughing matter, and I hope that you keep calm and positive througout this situation.
What are Coronaviruses?
Coronaviruses (CoV) are a large family of viruses causing illnesses ranging from the common cold to pneumonia (a more severe lung infection). A new coronavirus strain has been identified in Wuhan, China. Coronavirus Disease 19 (COVID-19) has caused cases of severe pneumonia in China and cases have been exported to other countries and cities.
How does COVID-19 spread?
There is human-to-human transmission of COVID-19. For now, the evidence suggests spread is mostly via droplets. The virus is carried within droplets emitted from an infected person over a short distance, such as when the person coughs or sneezes. If these droplets come into contact with the eyes, nose or mouth of another person, directly or indirectly through hands that have come into contact with these droplets, the other person may become infected. Members of public are advised to remain vigilant and observe good personal hygiene practices.
What are the symptoms of COVID-19?
The symptoms of COVID-19 infection are similar to that of regular pneumonia. Typical symptoms include fever, cough and shortness of breath.
What is the treatment for COVID-19?
Supportive treatment is provided based on the patient’s clinical condition. No proven specific treatment or anti-viral drug for COVID-19 is currently available.
Is the disease deadly? How is it compared to SARS?
The situation is evolving and many characteristics of the virus and how it may affect people are still unclear. However, current information suggests COVID-19 can cause severe disease and death in 2% to 3% of people with the infection, especially among the elderly and those people with underlying health problems or compromised immune systems.
Who should wear a mask? What kind of mask should I wear?
For the general public who are not having any symptoms at all and are well, there is no requirement to wear a mask.
As a good hygiene measure, people who are not well and have respiratory symptoms should wear a mask so that they do not spread any infection to other people. Anyone who has symptoms should see a doctor as soon as possible, to make sure that they remain well.
In the case of COVID-19, we know that the infection is spread through droplets. Wearing a mask will protect other people when someone with respiratory symptoms coughs or sneezes, as the mask would trap those droplets and prevent those droplets from spreading and disseminating.
As such, a surgical mask is sufficient for this case and fulfils the important function of preventing a spread if worn properly. The mask should be changed if it gets soiled or stained.
Why do healthcare professionals use an N95 mask and don full personal protective equipment (PPE), including goggles, then?
When dealing with infectious diseases, healthcare workers are required to wear the personal protective equipment (PPE), including N95 and goggles, as they are in close contact with patients and their bodily fluids.
As such, the PPE is needed to create a barrier between healthcare workers and the infectious agents from the patients, and to reduce the risk of transmitting micro-organisms from healthcare workers to patient(s).
How long is the incubation period? If somebody travels to cities with confirmed cases, how many days of no-symptoms after the travel, will he/she then be considered clean and disease-free?
Data from cases in China suggests that the incubation period is around 14 days.
Therefore, travellers are advised to monitor their health closely for at least 2 weeks upon return to [home country]. You are advised to seek medical attention promptly if you feel unwell, and to also inform your doctor of your travel history.
Summary for COVID-19 FAQ
I have compiled the FAQ to be useful to an international audience so if you are a fellow Singaporean please head to the website and remain updated as often as possible. If you are NOT from Singapore, you may still check the link for relevant general information if it helps. Please note the relevancy of this information and stay up to date with the latest news.
COVID-19 Personal Experiences FAQ
(Circulated among Singaporean Citizens)
Introduction
I have compiled a list of relevant information that fellow Singaporeans have been sharing among themselves. I hope people would take the time to read these anecdotes to understand the gravity of the situation, and that it may help in your understanding of this virus. Please do also take the information with a pinch of salt as they have not been confirmed/checked by any authority.
Annecdote from a Singaporean Patient's Family
"Make no mistake. When loved ones are removed from your home by ambulance because the virus has hit them hard, you are not going to be able to follow them there, sit by their hospital bed and hold their hand. You are not going to be able to pop in at 7.00 pm for visiting hours. They are going to have no one other than exhausted and brave hospital staff to see them through days or weeks of barely breathing through a ventilator until they either die or recover. They are not going to be well enough to text you.
You are not going to be able to phone the ward to check in on them regularly (staff will be too busy for that). During that time, they will be completely alone, while you sit at home waiting to hear whether they have made it through.
Imagine that person is someone you love dearly. Because it's going to be a reality for many in the coming weeks.
And if that person in hospital happens to be you, going through that ordeal completely alone, it would be nothing less than terrifying.
Please stay home and only go out if absolutely necessary. Social distancing is imperative right now for your family and mine."

If you feel all these, please go to the nearest Hospital's for testing and medication. There is no need to be afraid of having checked on what is being felt to avoid the loss of life for no reason.
Summary
I would like to emphasise that this information is NOT checked by authorities so please do not panic unnecessarily. Please do not spread panic or quote this information without citing its lack of source. Remain calm, and please direct yourself to the nearest hospital/clinic if you are unwell. If that is unavailable to you in your country/state and you are sick, please socially distance yourself at home until the medical team's/hospitals call you in.
Concluding Statement
I understand that for some of you information, medical facilities/equipment, and perhaps even basic necessities (such as food/water/shelter) are unavailable, seeing as I am interacting with an international audience. However, I would like to implore you to stay calm while you treat this matter with the utmost seriousness. This is because anxiety among the people would only cause prices in goods to sky rocket, and you will only endanger people when the market starts bidding wars for things such as equipment and medicine.
So please, firstly do not conduct mass-purchase of anything unnecessarily as it would only result in an inflation in prices for important goods. An example would be chloroquine which is NOT a cure for COVID-19, as mass purchase will place/is placing people suffering from lupis and arthritis at a disadvantage. These patients need that medication, unlike some of us who don't even know if it works against COVID-19.
Seccondly, please do not treat social distancing as a joke. Lives are at stake, and this means any form of contact with the virus will infect your immune system. While travelling overseas might seem fun due to the low priced flight tickets or because of spring break, this virus will infect you and your loved ones if you do not take the necessary precaution. This means sharing of food, untensils, clothes et cetera should be avoided to prevent the virus from infecting others and yourself. Some of you might want to die, but others don't so please, mind their consent if you can't be bothered with yours.
Thirdly, (I do apologise if I sound distinctly more annoyed as I type this, seeing how humanity consistently tries my patience) the corona virus is not an excuse for you to be racist or classist. I repeat: the corona virus is not an excuse for you to be racist or classist. While the COVID-19 virus did originate from China, it is not the 'chinese virus' and it was not borne from skin tones or genetics. It was instead born from the unlucky evolution of bacteria/germs that China so happened to win said lottery for.
This is the country that is developing and making the ventilators you need to stay alive. This is the country that has developed a new technique to keep you breathing/blood circulating if you are unable to do so. This is the country that gave the world 42 days to prepare for an enslaught of cases. They have no reason to help you: the virus was not made by them and you are not their citizen. But they are helping, and the least you can do is to be kind. (And if anyone would like to argue I'd like to quote Wu Chuanpu of supply chain Vedeng on ventilators that "the expansion of the production line is very time-consuming and resources-intensive," and "also involves personnel training. It is too cumbersome.")
So please, do not judge, do not be prejudiced and for the love of god be kind. The world is suffering, and people are dying. This is not the time to be fooling around or placing other things as your priority, whether it be your job, your fun, or your god damn xenophobia.
The priority is containment and survival.
To rebuild humanity you need humanity to exist in the first place. Stop being stupid, selfish and a damn ass hole about it. The virus isn't picky about its victims. It isn't going to care how much money you have, what your skin colour is, or what your age is. We have to work together and fight the common enemy. So stop taking sides and pick this one, the one where everybody wins. Don't be a fucking wuss cowering in the face of this virus. Mankind is resourceful, you are resourceful! Focus on what you can do and not what you can't! Take action, even if it seems small, because the small ones definitely count.
Keep yourself safe, signal boost this for people in need of information, and let's fight hard! Cause I'm definitely welcoming 2021 with all you people on this weird blue site.
Hugs and kisses from the fucking little red dot in Asia bitches ♡

Is there a good homeopathy treatment for Chronic bronchitis? A long-lasting inflammation and swelling of the bronchi are known as chronic bronchitis. The airways narrow as a result of increased mucus output and inflammation of the tissue lining the bronchi in bronchitis. This results in a recognizable cough. Many people find that their cough itself aggravates their disease and makes it worse. Up to 95% of instances of acute bronchitis are brought on by viral infection, with environmental irritants accounting for the majority of the remaining cases. The influenza, parainfluenza, and common cold viruses are the most prevalent viral causes. Unfortunately, antibiotics are frequently administered for acute viral bronchitis (up to 70% of the time), making this one of the most common instances of antibiotic abuse. Unfortunately, once an episode of acute bronchitis starts, there isn't much that can be done to halt it. The most typical course of action is to let the inflammation naturally go down, which will also get rid of the coughing and other symptoms. In very severe cases, a physician might recommend medications that limit coughing, reduce mucus production, and open airways. However, many of these medications have unpleasant side effects. In such cases, many lines of treatments can be undergone to provide relief from the discomfort. However, homeopathy is one of the best treatments for chronic & acute bronchitis which would involve fast relief and quick comfort. Homeopathy treats at the complete individual. It means that homoeopathy treatment for chronic bronchitis focuses on the patient as a whole person, not just his disease. The homoeopathy medications are chosen after a thorough examination and case analysis, which covers the patient's medical history, physical and mental constitution, family history, presenting symptoms, underlying disease, and possible causal variables, among other things. In the treatment of chronic illnesses, a miasmatic propensity (predisposition/susceptibility) is frequently considered. Types of Bronchitis: Acute or chronic bronchitis can be categorized into two categories. This classification is based on how long the symptoms have been present. When bronchitis only lasts a short while or clears up within a few days, it is referred to as acute bronchitis. When bronchitis persists for an extended period of time or is present the majority of the time each year, it is referred to as chronic. Common Symptoms of chronic bronchitis: There are many signs and symptoms of chronic bronchitis: • Persistent cough producing yellow, white, or green phlegm (for at least three months of the year, and for more than two consecutive years). • Sometimes wheezing, sometimes breathlessness. • Shortness of breath aggravated by exertion or mild activity • Frequent respiratory infections that worsen symptoms • Wheezing • Fatigue • Ankle, foot, and leg swelling that affects both sides • Headaches Homeopathy Treatment for Chronic Bronchitis: Homeopathy is very effective in the treatment of bronchitis. In reality, it is the most promising medical technique for treating chronic bronchitis. Bronchitis can be treated with homeopathic remedies, which are both effective and safe. Homeopathy prevents the excess mucus secretion and also relieves the cough symptoms gradually. The tendency of some person to get the acute infection very frequently. That tendency can be altered by homeopathy treatment as homeopathy works at immune level. Once this susceptibility get improve the person will not be affected by frequent bronchial infection further. In our Multicare homeopathy online treatment center peoples suffering from chronic bronchitis have been benefitted using our advanced homeopathic treatment packages. We apply the most scientific and research based homeopathy treatment package for bronchitis that gives a long-standing improvement to the health ailment. Pneumonia: Types, Causes, Symptoms, Diagnosis and Treatment Pneumonia is an infection of lung. Person from any age group can be affected by it but condition may be fatal for infant, senior adults and person with low immunity or ill conditions due to other health disease. Pneumonia is a serious lung infection that can be deadly. It can affect people of all ages, but is most common in young children and the elderly. There are several different types of pneumonia, each with its own causes and symptoms. The diagnosis and treatment of pneumonia can vary depending on the type involved. With early recognition and proper treatment, most cases of pneumonia can be cured. However, it is important to seek medical attention if you experience any of the symptoms associated with this infection. What is pneumonia? Pneumonia is medical condition of lungs where air space of lungs is replaced by pus, blood cell and mucous which causes difficulty in breathing. It is an infection of lung or a part of lung. It can affect one lung or both or only one lobe. Symptoms are cough, sputum production, fever, chills, chest pain while coughing and wheezing during pneumonia attack due to airflow obstruction by thickened secretions and inflammation and fluid accumulation in the alveoli (air sacs) also known as consolidation. Pneumonia may be caused by virus called influenza viruses, bacteria such as Mycoplasma pneumoniae, Chlamydia pneumoniae, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Staphylococcus pneumoniae, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Pseudomonas pneumoniae or Haemophilus influenzae. It seriously affects older adults, children and people with other existing medical conditions such as diabetes, respiratory problems and heart disease. People who smoke also have high risk of pneumonia attack than non-smokers and smokers can develop pneumonia in particular areas like in the mouth and it is called aspiration pneumonia which causes pneumonia in infants. Symptoms of pneumonia: Initial symptoms of the disease always resemble with common cold or flu. As the infection progress to deeper tissues of lung, pneumonia symptoms become very specific like: Cough: Pneumonia cough is green white blood mix sputum (phlegm). Fever: Pneumonia fever fluctuates from high to moderate but it never goes below from 101F. As the condition worsens, fever can be high as 104F with chills and rigors. Difficulty in breathing: Fast breathing or difficulty in breathing is always present in this disease. Whistling sound in breath is classical symptoms of chest congestion. It is caused by resonance from air due to less space in lungs. Chest pain: Chest pain is always there in this condition. Pain would be worse with deep inhalation. This is known as pleuritic pain. Dusky or purple or blue discoloration: Blue discoloration of lips, hands and legs are important sign in children and infant. Discoloration is generally not found in adult and if found it indicates very serious condition of patient. Nausea and vomiting Headache Diarrhoea Muscle pain Joint pain Confusion What cause pneumonia: It can be caused by various factors, like bacteria, virus, fungus, parasites, and others. Most of the time infection is usually viral or bacterial. It usually starts with the infection of throat and nose. From there, pathogen goes down to lower respiratory tract. As the infection progress down to alveoli of lung, pathogens start multiplication and proliferation. In response to infection, body’s immune system increases blood flow towards the infection suite. This causes the lung to fill up with mucous, white blood cells and fluid. Congestion in lungs interferes with normal air space which causes difficulty in breathing. Types of Pneumonia: Pneumonia is a very common infection that can affect anyone, but it's important to know the type of pneumonia you have in order for your doctor give accurate care. "There are many types of pneumonia, and they can require very different treatments," says Thomas Monaco.
"One group might not respond better than another because it's caused by a bacteria while others need antibiotics." "For us, it's really helpful to know the type because that influences our therapies for that specific patient," says Dr. Shweta Sood at Penn Medicine and Health agreed- once your doctor can figure out what kind of pneumonia you have they will be able get right treatment which helps make people feel like themselves again sooner. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) say that pneumonia is an infection of the tiny air sacs in your lungs, called alveoli. It can cause mild to severe illness among people regardless if they're children or adults. There are many different types of pneumonia, and each form has its own unique cause. Here is a breakdown on the most common ones: 1. Bacterial pneumonia: There are two types of pneumonia, bacterial and viral. Bacterial pnemonia can be caused by bacteria such as Streptococcus palniae which normally live in your upper respiratory tract but may make their way down into the lungs to cause infection there . This form has an estimated 908 thousand cases per year across America with about half being severe enough for hospitalization according The American Lung Association (ALA). You can develop this form of pneumonia on its own or after you've had a virus, like the cold and flu. Not only does Streptococcus pneumoniae cause bacterial pneumonia, but there are other types of bacteria that may lead to this condition as well. Dr. Casciari lists off Mycoplasma pneumoniae, Chlamydophila pneumoniae và Legionella pneumophila as other possible causes. In this type, all 5 lobes of lungs are inflamed due to bacterial or viral infection. It is the infection of lungs due to bacteria. Usually all healthy persons have some or other types of bacteria in nose and throat. Due to strong immunity they remain there silently and do not produce any kind of symptoms. As the immunity goes down these bacteria can enter in lower respiratory tract and cause inflammatory reactions, which lead to production of pathogen mix mucus. Thus, it reduces air space. There are lots of bacteria which can cause bacterial pneumonia, but most common is Streptococcus. Symptoms of this type are little but serious compared to viral pneumonia and usually there is sudden onset of symptoms with high grade fever, severe cough and chest congestions. 2. Viral pneumonia: It is more common and less severe condition of this disease. Symptoms of this gradually start with mild fever and running nose. It worsens as days pass. Symptoms of this type can be similar to common cold and flu, or it can be said common cold or flu can turn into viral pneumonia in person with weak immunity. This type is the most common in child from age 1 to 5 year. There are many different types of pneumonia that can make you sick, including viral ones. Some examples include: Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV). Influenza virus. Parainfluenza virus. Adenovirus. Measles virus. Coronaviruses, including SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. Unfortunately, antibiotics don't treat viral pneumonia. However there are some medications that may help if the infection is caught early including antiviral drugs and corticosteroids to try reduce inflammation - though in more severe cases you may need supplemental oxygen as a treatment option for your doctor recommendation on how best handle it at home with rest or fluids depending upon their severity. Luckily, there are vaccines for the flu and COVID-19 available to protect against severe illness. 3. Chemical pneumonia There are many causes of chemical pneumonia, but it's most commonly caused by an inhalation toxin. "Classic cases were seen during World War I when chlorine gas was used as a weapon," says Dr Panettieri- director at the Institute for Translational Medicine & Science at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School." However there may also be
instances where people get this condition from things such cleaners or even air fresheners if they're sprayed directly into your throat. You may think that chemical pneumonia is only a threat to those in health, but it's also possible if you breathe in large amounts of fumes from cleaning supplies or pool equipment. This type can cause physical irritation which leads to inflammation - resultinginubaDoctor Casciari says "these things will irritate your lungs." To get better, you'll need to leave the source of your injury behind and seek out professional medical attention. "If there's smoke in my lungs or burning sensation when I breathe," says Dr., Casciari this could mean that they're injured too--and until then just give yourself some relief with supportive care like supplemental oxygen (or even mechanical ventilation). 4. Aspiration pneumonia Aspiration pneumonia is a serious infection that can happen when you accidentally inhale substances into your lungs, like food or stomach acid. The inflammation causes damage to lung tissue and sometimes leads to bacterial complications." Without proper care, pneumonia can be fatal. It's more likely in people who have a brain injury or neurological disorder because of their difficulty with swallowing or have used drugs or alcohol; if you're struggling from this condition try Dr Casciari’s advice about how to keep yourself safe. 5. Fungal pneumonia: Fungal pneumonia is not common in most parts of the US, and people usually get infected when they breathe out fungal spores. However there's a condition called valley fever which can cause this type from fungus called Cocciidoides - it lives southwest U S soils (In Arizona specifically). Fungal pneumonia is a serious lung infection that can occur to people with weakened immune systems, such as those who have diabetes or cancer. 6. Walking pneumonia: Walking pneumonia is not a true medical diagnosis but it's often what people mean when they say "walking sick." Doctors will tell you that whatever the cause of your illness, there are some activities which allow them to stay active despite feeling too weak to do much else. Walking pneumonia is most commonly caused by an infection with the Mycoplasma pneumoniae bacteria, which produces milder symptoms in your respiratory system. The CDC says this type of infection can come from any one (or all) main causes—bacterial; viral or fungal -and that it's also likely there are other pathogens waiting to be discovered. How do you get pneumonia? Pneumonia is a contagious disease. It spreads through touch or indirect contact like using same towel or sitting near to infected person. Nose discharge or sputum of person has thousands of spores of bacteria, fungus, and virus. These pathogens spread through sneeze. How to diagnose pneumonia? First diagnosis of pneumonia is done through clinical examination. Your physician would do auscultation through stethoscope. Whistling sound during every breath is suggestive for lung congestion. Blood examination: There would be an increase in white blood cells and E.S.R level. Sputum examination. Chest X Ray. How to treat pneumonia? Treatment for pneumonia in adult and children is very different as this condition is not very serious for adults, but can be fatal to a child. The treatment depends upon severity of symptoms. General symptoms with good immune person can be treated at home only; where as severe pneumonia with weak child requires hospitalization. 1. Antibiotics: All cases of pneumonia need a complete course of antibiotics. Your physician may advise for sputum examination for diagnose of causative factor for the disease. Symptoms usually subside with two doses of antibiotics but it is always advisable to complete the course of antibiotic. 2. Anti-inflammatory and Antipyretic: Paracetamol or ibuprofen is the drug of choice for patient suffering from this. Syrup drops and tablets all form is available for these drugs. Doses
of these drugs depend upon weight of patient so please consult the doctor before taking any medication. 3. Supportive care: Hydrate yourself with sufficient water. Take nasal decongestant. Inhale hot vapour. Take good nutritious diet. All these play important role in treatment of pneumonia. Severe case may need hospitalization. Patient with severe nausea and vomiting cannot take oral medicine and children with severe chest congestion and blue discoloration need urgent medical care with I.V fluids and oxygen supply. Conclusion: Although pneumonia can be a life-threatening illness, it is also highly treatable. With early diagnosis and proper treatment, most people make a full recovery. If you or someone you know displays any of the symptoms of pneumonia, please seek medical attention right away. With prompt diagnosis and treatment, most people with pneumonia make a full recovery. 5 pulmonary diseases that have symptoms similar to COVID-19 but are not
With every passing day, we hear something new about the ongoing viral outbreak, COVID-19. May it be its new symptoms like loss of taste and smell or an assumption that it will stay on as an endemic, every day, scientists around the world are pushing further to decode new facts about this mystifying virus.
With so much that is yet to be known about this, people are increasingly getting anxious and misinterpreting other diseases or symptoms for COVID-19.
For example, most of the COVID-19’s symptoms like fever, chills, and shortness of breath are similar to that of the flu. This is adding up to people’s confusion in this already chaotic situation. Therefore, as coronavirus primarily attacks the pulmonary organs like lungs and nose, let us explore the 5 pulmonary diseases that have symptoms similar to COVID-19 but are not.
1. Cough
Let’s begin with the basic cough. It is the most common and prevalent symptom of COVID-19. However, coughing alone does not mean that you are infected with it. Other symptoms like high temperature, shortness of breath, and body pains usually follow.
It is normal to cough, especially when we are affected by the flu or allergy. It is our body’s way of eliminating unwanted stuff that is stuck in the airway of our lungs. While coughing occasionally is normal, you need to check with a doctor if you have been coughing for a while now, say at least 4 weeks.
It might be a sign of other underlying issues like the cough-variant of asthma or infection of lungs like acute bronchitis.
2. Pneumonia
These days, the viral infection caused by COVID-19 is causing Pneumonia as the condition of a few patients is deteriorating. While this is the case now, Pneumonia can be caused without contracting the dreaded virus.
Pneumonia is an infection of one or both the lungs caused by a virus, bacteria, or fungi. It causes the inflammation of the air sacs in your lungs and fills it with fluid or pus, eventually making it difficult to breathe.
Other than coughing, some of its symptoms are fever, chills, nausea, headaches, and fatigue. These symptoms can range from mild to life-threatening.
Treatment for Pneumonia depends on the severity of your condition, with few requiring medications and home care and a few others requiring hospitalization.
3. Cystic Fibrosis
Cystic Fibrosis is a serious genetic disorder. It causes severe damage to the respiratory and digestive systems.
It generally builds up sticky mucus to organs like the lungs, pancreas, intestines, and liver. Its symptoms differ from person to person and on many factors like age and severity of the condition.
The common symptoms associated with Cystic Fibrosis are wheezing, stuffy noses, consistent cough, shortness of breath, loss of appetite, nausea, and constipation among others. While there is no cure for Cystic Fibrosis, there is a range of treatments that are aimed at reducing the symptoms and its complications.
4. COPD
COPD or Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease is a group of lung diseases like the Chronic Bronchitis and Emphysema. Most people who are affected with COPD suffer from both conditions.
While Emphysema slowly destroys the air sacs in the lungs, chronic bronchitis inflames the bronchial tubes and fills it with mucus. Smoking tobacco is the most common reason to be affected with this.
Its common symptoms are shortness of breath, cough, and the constant need to clear the throat. While there is no cure for it, refraining from smoking and getting treatment can ease the symptoms and quality of life.
5. Lung Cancer
As the name suggests, Lung Cancer is cancer that forms in the lungs. Its early symptoms include worsening cough, coughing phlegm or blood, shortness of breath, chest pains, weakness, and loss of appetite.
You may also have recurring respiratory infections like Pneumonia and Bronchitis. As cancer spreads, tumors may form on other organs like the lymph nodes, bones, brain, or liver.
Anyone can get Lung Cancer, however, the most common reason for it is smoking tobacco. Its treatment depends on the severity of the stage of cancer.
Stage 1 and 2 would involve surgery to remove the tumors, while stage 3 may require both surgery and chemotherapy. Stage 4, however, is particularly hard to cure and involves surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, and immunotherapy.
All the above diseases show some sign or symptom that is similar to COVID-19, however, that does not mean that you are infected with COVID-19.
That being said, The whole point of this article is to educate you about the different pulmonary diseases that have similar symptoms to that of COVID-19. Do not base this article to take action.
As the times we live in are getting weirder by the day, we cannot afford to leave anything to chance. So, whatever might be the symptom, it is best to consult with a professional.
If you have been facing the above-mentioned symptoms for a while now, we suggest you contact us on +91 88-00-644-744 to consult with an expert Pulmonologist near you. You may also contact us if have reason to believe that you may be infected with COVID-19 and would like to check with a doctor.

I would like some fluffy Samemi x Fukami pwease!
Well, this was extremely uncomfortable.
Slimy tendrils only further squished around the girl’s body, her teeth barring as she growled angrily from the tight grip all across her figure. Her eyes aggressively glanced over at the assailant, who wasn’t even looking back at her, simply holding a teacup in one hand and spreading open a book with another hand. His eyes were dead as always, you could never see any ounce of emotion in that stupid face of his. She groaned, trying to claw through the flesh as a free tendril wrapped at her wrists, holding them out of the reach from his smooth muscle.
“Don’t you remember what Wadanohara said?” Fukami lowly said, eyes not even peering away from the pages he was studying upon. Samemi’s eyes only dug further daggers into Fukami, even more frustrated he wouldn’t even make simple eye contact. Did he really think he was so superior to her that he couldn’t even LOOK at her? He was always so plainly rude, and it only pissed her off more the more he acted so cocky.
“Yes! She told us to sit together and behave and try and get along!! This isn’t ‘getting along’!!” Her voice cracked, squirming more intensely in a vain attempt to escape his vice grip tangling around her body.
“It is. I’m keeping you in check so that you don’t cause trouble, since you always do.” He replied flatly, taking a slow sip from his tea. Samemi, only further frustrated from his response, thrashed more intensely, no matter how useless it seemed.
“I’m not an animal!! I have basic manners!! I’m only getting pissed off because you keep treating me lower than you! Why do you do that? It’s not like Wadanohara loves you more or anyth--”
Samemi’s words were cut short by the tentacle around her neck squeezing tight, choking out the end of her word. Samemi glanced back over, only to see a sharp, empty gaze piercing into her heart. No emotions present at all, but his eyes could speak for eons about the rage that rang through his body. Samemi wheezed, loosening her squirming, trying to word out an ‘I’m sorry’. Fukami stared at her for a moment, before slowly loosening to the point of letting her drop onto the couch. Samemi took a deep inhale once she was able to breathe, coughing a bit to clear of any phlegm that clumped up in her throat while being crushed. She blinked, realizing the position she was now, slowly bringing her confused gaze to Fukami, who has already returned to reading.
“...That wouldn’t matter. She’s not even the one I’m most interested in, anyway.” He muttered, a small frown finally frowning on his stone-like face, his brows furrowing. “She’s precious to me, you’re correct, but she’s not nearly as precious as someone else I know.”
Samemi only looked more quizzed, staring at him with wide eyes with an ounce of concern on her face. “Really? I would’ve never guessed, you’re always spending time with her. I thought it was painfully obvious you crushed on her. Well, I guess that’s a relie--” Samemi stopped herself half way through, tensing up. “I-I mean!! Well, I guess that’s good for her?? I wouldn’t want her to be with a jerk like you anyway!!”
“They say the bigger a jerk is to someone, the more infatuated they are with them.” Fukami’s frown quickly turned into the faintest of a sly smile. Samemi, processing what he said, only flushed further.
“I-I’m not interested in you at all!! Why would you think that?! I-I’m not interested in anyone, not like that!! W-Why are you saying such weird and creepy stuff anyway?! Are you trying to f-f-flir--” She froze again, covering her mouth and curling up a bit on the couch, feeling her face physically ache from what she was saying.
“Of course you would miss the point of what I said. You’re such an idiot, all of the time.” His plain tone returned, almost as if nothing happened. Samemi’s flustered state only worsened into extreme frustration, letting out an annoyed scream, trying to immediately attack at him, but tendrils almost immediately slapped her body down into the floor, painfully pinching her into the floor to prevent from misbehavior.
Feeling her body roughly thrash underneath him and hearing her distressed cries only brought the faint smile back. Being a big jerk to her was fun indeed.

Sunday 15/03/2020
So today I was finally hit by whatever plague has been circling my immune system. I’ve had a kind of sore throat for about 3 days and feeling like I’m burning up every now and then and this morning, I felt like I had been hit by a tonne of bricks. My body aches, I’m sweating buckets, I feel a little confused and dizzy, my sore throat doesn’t seem to be here but something is definitely up. I climb into bed and put the fan on to try and combat this hot flush I’m having. There I stayed for the rest of the day, watching YouTube on my phone all day and hoping I would feel better as the day went on. This did not happen. Unfortunately I don’t remember much of that evening other than feeling sad that this was how I was feeling.

Today was hard. Today was the anniversary of my mum passing away. I felt really horrible mentally and physically today. My soul ached not just because she was gone but also because I felt too crappy to do anything to remember her by. I planned to bake some cupcakes and B had given me a wonderful gift to remember her by, a video message that can be sent into space and he was going to record me and pay to send it into space through a company he found last year and had been keeping it a secret until today. It was so sweet of him. I cried for hours that day. I spent this day in bed again, feeling sorry for myself and also a little angry as my online food shop had arrived and half of my order was missing because of those asshole panic buyers swiping all the things. I took a turn for the worse tonight. I felt as though my face and body were pressed against scalding radiators and I felt very tired and delirious. B said I didn’t feel as though I had a temperature but my cheeks felt like they were going to catch fire any second. We tried to call 111 but we couldn’t get through. A lot of other panicked people it seemed. At this point we had been convincing ourselves that there was no way I had coronavirus, I had only seen one person and I was housebound anyway due to my agoraphobia. It must’ve just been a flu. I was drifting in and out of sleep as my body battled all these horrible feelings, my arms and legs felt so heavy and ached heavily. I managed to get to sleep with a cold flannel on my face.
Tuesday 17/03/2020
I woke up feeling a little better. I didn’t feel as though I was burning up anymore but I did feel shortness of breath and I messaged my friend who I had seen around a week prior to see if she had this feeling. She did. Granted her feelings were a lot more cold based where as I primarily had a fever and an achy body. She recommended I call 111 and see what they say. I decide to do it later when B had woken up (he had stayed up really late the night previously). Thankfully B had brought my Xbox into the bedroom for me and I began a playthrough of L.A.Noire. A game I adored but had never fully finished before. I will be talking about this a lot. I flew through Traffic and Homocide that day but before I could even think about starting Ad-Vice B had woken up. He was very anxious. He takes medication for his anxiety and was late in taking it so he was in rather a bad state mentally but called 111 for me anyway as my symptoms had started to worsen again. My ear was bright red and was burning up and that slowly traveled to my cheeks again. We got through this time and the woman was rather rude to me. She said because I had a fever and shortness of breath, they were going to transfer to me to the coronavirus specialist phonelines. I was sure I didn’t have it because I don’t have a cough. And that was the main symptom. They gave them my number and eventually called me back, she was the loveliest woman ever and said that they would keep me on their radar in case my symptoms worsen or anything but until then all I can do is self isolate and rest up. I fell asleep that night struggling to breathe and woke up many times in the night because of it. It was horrible.
Wednesday 18/03/2020
I don’t remember much from today. I remember feeling short on breath all day and feeling incredibly lonely. Self isolation is incredibly isolating, who would’ve known. I miss my friends and my boyfriend. He’s being cautious with me but is still managing to be a loving and caring boyfriend. My dad visited me but didn’t come into my bedroom, was the first time I had seen him in weeks. We don’t really have the best relationship. I remember eating more than I had done the day previously. And I remember that drinking had been a problem, I was struggling to force myself to stay hydrated, I only managed to force myself to drink one cup on one of the days but today I managed to drink around 4-5 pints of water (and a couple of them had orange squash in ☺️). I didn’t feel as feverish today but I did briefly that night. I was mostly very scared because the doom the media has been churning out had kept convincing me I was going to be put in hospital or that I was going to die.
Thursday 19/03/2020
Today was bad but for a different reason. After 5 hours of sleep I was rudely awoken by my own body. I was cramping. Hard. My period had arrived and wasn’t going easy on me. I managed to go and clean myself up and get back in bed. Unfortunately one of the symptoms I get with my period is that I get bad hot flashes. I burn up. So on top of my fever, it was hard to tell if it was my fever or my period causing me to toast marshmallows. And I couldn’t even have a hot water bottle to combat the cramps without completely overheating myself. I pushed through and it got better as the day went on. My shortness of breath felt a little easier but my sore throat had returned. Win some lose some. I finished L.A.Noire properly this time. And oh. My. God. I cried. I cried hard. The ending was so... unexpected and FUCKING SAD???? I have so many thoughts and feelings and although I’m really upset with the ending, it did make me love the game even more on a deeper level. I wasn’t in the mood for another game after that and ended up spending the entire rest of the day watching 2 Broke Girls on Amazon Prime. I’m actually really enjoying it. The writing is a little off and after a while it gets very repetitive. Caroline whines about how far she’s fallen and Max says vagina. There that’s the whole show. Fr though I am enjoying it. It’s a good distraction. B went out today, we know he wasn’t supposed to but we desperately needed some groceries that our online shop couldn’t get us. He was cautious, covered his mouth and tried not to touch ANYTHING he didn’t have to or wasn’t going to purchase to keep chance of spreading whatever I have to the absolute minimal. He also got me a present to cheer me up AND as an early birthday present. It was a Yachemon plush from Overwatch, I laughed so hard when I saw it my shortness of breath got worse. Oops.
Friday 20/03/2020
Today was the best day by far. I felt so much like myself, I barely felt hot at all, my shortness of breath was practically non existent and I actually felt a lot more human, however, I do have a lot Of phlegm in my throat and have had to cough and clear it a few times, still wouldn’t say I had a cough though. I’m a little wary of the people that have said it gets worse before it gets better so am keeping to the bed for a few days longer just in case. I feel so much like myself and was even able to get up briefly without feeling like I was going to pass out! It’s a step in the right direction at least! I was still mourning the L.A.Noire ending and was feeling incredibly lonely again (a common theme, I complained of loneliness to B a thousand times even though we both know he should only really come and see me if he HAS to). But he came down to hang out with me briefly to help me pick a few games to buy from the Xbox store. We picked some that were on sale, the first 5 chapters of Life Is Strange and Mafia II. I decided to start with Life Is Strange and I’m sadly really unimpressed with it. I’m not a massive fan of games where your choices effect certain things because they make me anxious I will choose the bad endings! I’m a little disappointed that it’s a supernatural storyline, I was hoping for something a little more realistic but it doesn’t ruin the game. I love the art style and voice acting, it’s a beautiful game with a promising storyline (even if it’s not specifically my cup of tea). I think the chapters were a little short considering how much they are at original price separately but I guess I’m just lucky I caught it on sale. I’m not itching to play more but I will anyway, I just hope it gets a little better :/.
We’re all caught up. I’ll try and write a diary entry every evening. It will mostly focus on reviewing the entertainment I have and describing my symptoms and just what I get up to. I’m writing for myself and people reading it is just an extra. It’d be nice to have something to talk at like a diary for a while. Even if it’s not talking back I appreciate the social effects it’s having on me.
Anyways. I’ll post today’s diary entry either tonight or tomorrow morning. Until then we take it easy. ✌🏻

First things first, I am a huge fan! Your Riverdale fics give me life. I share your love of making Jughead suffer. So I assume you have a whole bunch of request/prompts lined up but if you ever feel like it: I would love to see Jughed with pneumonia/bronchitis. Whichever you prefer and however you prefer :)
(Thanks so much for the kind words anon!! I am so glad you share my love of making jug suffer. I absolutely love researching illnesses so this was a lot of fun to do! This became very angsty but a whole lot of tooth rotting fluff in the end! Here’s jug with pneumonia and a worried Andrews fam.)
For most of his life the bright, warm light of the sun was a beacon of hope for Jughead. The summer was a sign of hope, a signal that he had made it through the cold winter, and that everything was going to be okay. He could be with Archie and Betty all summer, and he didn’t have to constantly go home to the darkness of his own family.
However when this past summer, Betty was away on an internship and life decided to take Archie Andrews away from him, Jughead had never felt this lonely in whole life. His mom and Jellybean left him to the darkness that was surely engulfing his father, and he didn’t even have his rock, Archie to cling on to. He felt so alone, so cold in this darkness, the sun seemed to be mocking him. He’d watch all the happy people bask in the sun while he felt trapped in this personal rain cloud that would never leave him.
To keep himself alive Jughead had told himself that the winter would be better for him, for everyone. However as the winter approached and arrived, things got worse. He had been homeless, Jason had actually been murdered, his father had been arrested and there was definitely darker things in Riverdale.
It had started with a cough, a typical winter ailment that he got every year, no biggie. But a cough wasn’t meant to last this long, Jughead was convinced it wasn’t meant to hurt this much.
His cough had worsened as him, Kevin and Betty investigated the death of Jason Blossom, Jughead desperate to bring some light to Riverdale and uncover the truth. It had been a cold, cold night, the air dry and unforgiving, frosty and painful to his lungs. It rained too, the droplets of water seeming to be from a frozen lake, icy and soaking him to the core. There, they found Jason’s jacket, and the truth he found was horrifying.
The stress of the next few days did no wonders to Jughead’s declining health and mental health. When he should’ve been getting better, he lay wide awake at night, afraid to shut his eyes in fear of the nightmares that plagued him. He clutched his small blanket in the Andrews garage, shivering, wanting it all to end.
The one thing the freezing cold garage did in his favour was the fact he could cough freely, not afraid of waking Archie had he been in the air mattress. However, he couldn’t quite ignore the nagging thought at the back of his mind telling him that coughs were not meant to hurt his chest that much, that they weren’t meant to be that deep, that wet, this teeth-chattering.
The phlegm certainly wasn’t meant to be tinged with blood.
The next morning, as Jughead awoke to Archie swinging the back door open, presumably to wake him, he hadn’t felt that awful in his whole life.
His head caused the world to spin, and he couldn’t lift his head up because of how heavy he felt. His entire body was shivering, he felt so cold, literally frozen as if he had just fallen through the frozen Sweetwater River, and his teeth chattered with the cold. However, if he was so cold, he shouldn’t be radiating off heat, should he? The hot air coming out of his nostrils felt so uncomfortable.
Archie opened the door slowly, shivering lightly as he made his way into the freezing garage, immediately nervous that Jughead had spent the night here.
“Jug? You awake.”
“Yeah,” Jughead croaked out, his chest hurting, unbelievably tight. His breathing shouldn’t be this fast.
“Woah, you okay dude?”
“First thing in the morning, dude, calm your face,” Jughead joked forcefully, honestly not finding itself in him to be his regular, jokey self.
Archie noticed, worried that Jughead couldn’t even make a joke. When times got hard, Jughead could at least make a joke of his horrible situation. The fact that he couldn’t didn’t sit right with him.
“Get out of my face, Andrews. I’m going to get changed–unless you want to watch?” Jughead teased, trying to not sound congested.
Archie looked reluctant, but left anyway, making his way back to the kitchen.
Jughead walked into the kitchen, wearing one long sleeved t shirt underneath a hoodie, and a thick, shearling denim jacket on top, obviously trying to stop his shivering. However he still shook slightly, looking very pale besides his very pink cheeks and nose. His eye bags very dark against his pale skin, and his blue eyes dull and bleary.
“Morning Jughead,” Fred greeted, back facing him as he cooked the eggs.
Archie couldn’t even greet him, shocked by his appearance.
When Fred turned around, he was slightly surprised, “..Are you cold, Jug?”
Jughead shrugged, “Just a little. It is the winter after all.”
Fred didn’t even know what to do, “Jughead..uh..how are you feeling?”
Jughead looked up from the food he was playing with and gave him a forced smile, “Fine. Ready to seize the day.”
Archie and Fred didn’t even know how hey let Jughead out of the house and walk to school in the snow.
School would be a tricky situation because this was the worst possible day Jughead could be sick, Archie didn’t have any classes with him until Lunch. Meaning Archie had no way of having eyes on Jughead, and this worry prevented Archie from concentrating on any of his classes.
Jughead had spent his classes huddled going the radiator, grateful he sat at the back of the class, shivering and shaking. He felt extremely fevered, not able to concentrate on anything his teachers would say.
He was so bad, his coughing sounding so chesty and raspy that some of his classmates who had just been currently treating him like a murderer were concerned with him. Jughead squeezed his eyes shut, a hand to his chest as he struggled to breathe, his airways blocked by phlegm. He shivered with his fever, pulling his jacket closer to him and wishing he had worn more layers.
As the teacher let the class go off doing pairwork, she approached Jughead and looked at him with concern.
“You have to promise me that you’ll go to the nurse after this class, okay?” She said, worried.
Jughead’s teeth chattered, finding it hard to reply to her, “Y-yes, miss. I will.”
Of course, he didn’t.
Come geography Jughead was feeling worse, the pain in his chest as he coughed like he was being stabbed repeatedly. To make things worse he couldn’t breathe, choking on his own phlegm that refused to come out. He gasped for air, his chesty and phlegmy gasps sounding horribly weak and awful. He continued to choke, his vision growing hazy.
Ethel looked over at him and watched the pathetic display, managing to pat his back as he spat the phlegm out into a tissue she had offered him. “Jughead, please, I don’t think this is normal.”
Jughead knew at this point his voice was gone, so he only gave her a small, reassuring smile.
At the end of that class, Jughead had been wheezing yet again, walking out as he held a hand over his aching chest. He could barely breathe, his breathing short and rapid. Hell, he could feel his heart beating fast.
Jughead hacked pathetically into his arm, when a familiar pair of strong arms were holding him in place, to support him. Just a bit ago those same arms were pushing him into a locker. He looked up blearily, blue eyes watery and completely void of life.
“Go away, Reggie,” Jughead wheezed, his voice almost completely gone, a weak, raspy whisper.
“Jughead, please! You’re so sick, this isn’t normal,” Reggie pleaded, taking his shoulders. He wasn’t rough or cruel like he normally was, he was so worried and concerned, as if Jughead could just break into pieces in his arms right there. His actual name coming out of Reggie’s mouth was so weird, and his vision was just so blurry nothing felt real anymore. Jughead pushed past him, his chest on fire as he pushed himself on to the cafeteria where his friends were.
***
Kevin Keller was a hundred percent sure he had just seen a ghost.
It was the ghost of Jughead Jones, who looked like he was about to die just there, his body ready to succumb to death. The ghost of his friend approached the four of them, and the sight was so disturbing he gasped.
“Jughead?!” He yelped, causing the other three of his friends to whip around and watch as what was left of their friend approach them. He looked so awful that they didn’t even know what to do.
Jughead took his seat next to Kevin and Veronica, as if absolutely nothing was up. He didn’t say anything, looking off into the distance like his conscience was in some other plane of reality.
They were frozen, not knowing what to do.
“Jughead..?” Veronica finally said, voice quivering with fear.
The sight of him was horrifying; ghost white, looking like he was on the brink of death. Eyes sunken, with a pair of dark purple eyebags. His cheeks were flushed a horrible shade of red. He slouched, completely drained and unable to sit upright His entire frame shook like some sort of epicentre for an earthquake. He was the perfect image of illness. It was haunting.
Suddenly, Jughead erupted in the most horrendous fit he had yet, entire body convulsing like he had been possessed by a demon. He hacked, choking on his own phlegm. His entire body was shivering, gasping for air, short and rapid. His chest was on fire, someone was stabbing him with a flaming knife, viciously and brutally. It hurt so much.
He felt a ringing in his ears, all he could sense was the pain of his chest, and could faintly feel Kevin slapping his back, and Veronica feeling his pulse.
“Guys, it’s so fast!” Veronica screamed.
Jughead finally spat out the phlegm, tinged with blood.
“Oh my god!” Archie yelled and jumped out of his seat and ran, with Reggie Mantle running after him, hot on his heels as they ran for help.
“Juggy!” Betty screamed, crying.
Jughead looked up to see his hysteric friends, and all the worried other people, making out Ethel, and hell, even Cheryl Blossom looked terrified. There was screaming, too much was happening. His head pounded, vision shaking and blurring, breathing short and rapid. His attempts to breathe for longer hurt his chest, a sharp, stinging pain. His entire body ached, he felt like he was on fire, and yet shaking and shivering. Suddenly, he became void of all senses. He couldn’t feel anything.
Then there was darkness.
***
Archie paced the hospital hallway, his chest feeling right. He felt so anxious, breathing heavily. The hospital was so white, it was terrifying. So clean and orderly.
“Yes, Sheriff, I understand you can’t just allow random calls at random times, but please, FP deserves to know,” Fred argued on the phone, just as anxious as Archie.
A few minutes later, Sheriff gave up and handed the phone to FP.
“FP? I don’t even know how to say this,” Fred whispered guiltily.
“What is it, Fred? You here to finally admit I was better at the guitar than you?” FP joked.
“..No, Forsythe, it’s Jughead. He’s really sick, he passed out. We’re at the hospital–I don’t know what’s wrong, but he was coughing blood..”
FP was silent.
Eventually he’s spoke, “That’s my boy, Fred.”
“I know, FP, you just deserved to know.”
“No, no, you don’t understand. That’s my boy who never gave up on me. That boy who’s kind to everyone but what did he do to deserve this? This ain’t fucking fair! I can’t lose him! I love him so much, Fred! I don’t even think he knows that, Fred.”
“He knows that, FP. Listen, we’ll keep you posted, okay? The doctors will be out in a little bit.”
They continued to speak for a while but Archie couldn’t listen anymore, way too afraid. Once Fred hung up, Archie looked at him, tears in his eyes.
“Dad, he’s gonna be okay, right?” Archie whimpered, sounding so young.
Fred swallowed, “He’s a tough kid, Archie. He’ll pull through.”
“He shouldn’t have to be the tough kid,” Archie choked, tears streaming down his face.
“Arch,” Fred cooed, coming close to his son and holding him, kissing his forehead.
“I know Archie, he shouldn’t. I shouldn’t have made him feel unwelcome, I shouldn’t have let him go this morning. I’m so sorry Archie, blame me all you want, but I care for him too. I will do all in my power to make him better again, okay?” Fred whispered softly as Archie cried into his chest.
“I’m so scared,” Archie cried.
Fred sniffled, swallowing, “Me too, Arch.”
***
Half an hour later, one of the doctors came out of Jughead’s room.
“Mr Andrews?” She said softly.
“Yes, that’s me,” Fred piped up, as Archie who was asleep on his shoulder woke up immediately, rushing to her.
“I’m glad to be informing you Mr Jones will be just alright,” She smiled brightly.
Archie made an overwhelmed, happy noise, he lunged and hugged the doctor, “thank you thank you thank you thank you!!”
Archie pulled away and blushed, “Oh, sorry.”
The doctor laughed, “That is quite alright.”
Fred cleared his throat, “What’s wrong with him, doc?”
“Pneumonia. He had it pretty bad, as you know from what happened at the school, but we’ve patched him up enough so that there will be no negative effects later in life and that he should be better in two or three weeks.”
Fred sighed softly, “That’s great.”
“He will need continuous usage of antibiotics and must not leave the house, must get good sleep and rest,” She explained.
Archie looked anxious, “When will he be discharged?”
“He must stay for about a week for now, but he will be allowed visitors. In fact, would you like to visit him now? He’s awake.”
“Yes! Please!” Archie said excitedly.
“This way, then,” The Doctor instructed as she held the doors open for the two of them and let them in.
“Oh my god, Jug!” Archie exclaimed as he saw Jughead sitting up, joking about something with one of the doctors.
Jughead looked over to see Archie and smiled, and gasped softly as Archie tackled him into a hug.
“Arch–” Jughead said softly, slightly suffocated.
Archie gasped, “Sorry!”
Jughead laughed, still raspy but a lot less deathly sounding, “It’s fine.”
“You really scared me, Jughead! The whole school thought you were dead!” Archie exclaimed.
Fred chuckled, “That really was quite a scare, Jughead.”
“Sorry about that,” Jughead said sheepishly.
Fred looked at Archie then sighed, “no kid, we should be sorry-no, I should be. I’m so sorry I made it seem like you weren’t welcome here, you are just as much of family as Archie is to me. Y'know, when FP called me to say Gladys was having his child Mary and I drove to the hospital with little Archie. When you were born, we were all together, we were all a family. We still are a family.”
Jughead smiled softly, but scrunched his nose, “Ew, so you’re telling me that this rat here is one of the first things I ever saw?!”
Archie laughed heartily.
Fred laughed, “That’s quite right. Jughead, FP and I made sure that as blood brothers, we had to take care of each other’s sons. I told FP that what if his son was a little shit? Well, you are a little shit, but you really are a great kid, Jug. We care about you so much. When you get discharged, I’m going to make sure that when you go home, it is a home.”
Jughead smiled softly, “I’m sorry for pushing you away and withdrawing.”
Archie shook his head, “We never should have let you disappear.”
Jughead groaned, “Stop fighting with me, I’m sick, let’s just all agree we all fucked up!”
They all laughed.
Just then, Jughead began to cough again, eyes squeezed shut at the burning sensation of his cough, wet and deep. Before he started to choke, a nearby doctor coaxed the coughs out. He spat out into a tissue and threw it into the wastebin, finally resting against the pillow and took a good minute to catch his breath.
“Poor kid,” Fred muttered softly, taking in the pale features of his second son and approached him, pushing back the messy black curls that had fallen into his face as he coughed.
Archie watched in concern, wondering how he could help when his phone buzzed, opening it to see Veronica was facetiming.
“Ooh! I think they want to see you!” Archie grinned.
Jughead flipped his hair, “Of course they want to see the absolute beauty that is moi!”
Archie answered the call, coming close to Jughead so they could see him, to see Kevin, Veronica, Betty, Reggie, Ethel and oddly, Cheryl in the frame.
“HE’S ALIVE!” Kevin squealed.
“Lookin’ good, Wednesday Adams,” Reggie teased, pointing at his hospital gown and all the tubes in him.
“Jughead, you scared the shit out of us!!” Veronica exclaimed.
“Juggie, I’m so glad you’re okay!” Betty cooed.
“Get better soon, Jughead!” Ethel smiled.
“Ugh, he’s alive, guys. Can we all go now?” Cheryl rolled her eyes, but they could all see that Cheryl was secretly relieved and happy.
They spoke for a while, and as the call ended Fred started to call the Sheriff.
***
“Fred! Is my boy okay?!” FP breathed out through Fred’s phone.
“Hi dad,” Jughead said softly.
“Oh my god, Jug..Jug! You’re okay..thank god! I was beginning to think..it’s so good to hear your voice..”
“I’ll survive, dad.”
“You just might.”
Jughead could faintly hear the Sheriff telling FP he didn’t have much time.
“Listen–Jug, I don’t have a lot of time..”
“I love you, dad,” Jughead whimpered.
FP froze.
“I love you too, Jug,” FP choked, clearly teary.
“I miss you so much,” Jughead sniffled, one tear rolling down his cheek.
“I miss you so much Jug, there’s not one day that passed by where I wish we were all together. But I did bad things, Jughead, inexcusable. I need to pay for what I did. You understand that, don’t you, Jug?”
“I do.”
“..I am so sorry, Jughead. For not being the father I should’ve been, the one you deserve. I’m so sorry about this, but please know that I never for one second stopped loving you,” FP whispered.
“I know dad, I know. I never gave up, I never will,” Jughead cried.
“You’ll be okay, you’ll pull through. C'mon lion, brave through it and seize the day, I know you can,” FP chuckled.
“I will dad, I always do,” Jughead whispered.
“I’ll come home to you someday,” FP managed to say before Sheriff Keller took the phone back.
Jughead bit back a sob, whispering to himself, “I know you will.”
***
The morning he was to be discharged, Jughead began to gather all his Get Well Soon presents. He coughed, not quite as chesty or deep as it had been, and certainly did not feel like he was being stabbed repeatedly. He smiled fondly as he looked at them.
A beautifully crafted handmade card from Ethel, a not so beautifully crafted handmade card from Reggie, a fancy card from Veronica with some luxury gourmet chocolates and snacks, a simple, pretty card from Betty and a container of her signature soup, a nice card from Kevin who had sent some snacks, and a bit of money from Cheryl who helped pay for some of the hospital bill and medicine. The family was loaded, and her parents didn’t even notice she took some.
Jughead hadn’t felt so loved in so long. The winter seemed to be just a bit brighter.
And finally, a picture of Jughead, Archie and Fred during movie night on top of an application for Legal Guardianship.
“Ready to go home, Jug?” Archie grinned.
“Born ready.”

Submission - Dash and Harv fic, alien preg whump etc.!
Ripley: @thethespacecoyote wrote a lil sum sum for me and it is excellent. Happy reading folks:
I come bearing gifts of surgical angst and incubation mixups and poor Dash’s organs getting wrecked. I just enjoy hurting the pretty boys. :P
————
“So…?” Dash rasped, one hand resting gingerly on his swollen stomach, “what’s the deal, doc?”
He was pretty pissed off, but tried not to take out his anger on his friend as Harvey took his blood pressure and temperature before proceeding with the rest of the checkup. But that didn’t mean he was going to be a frikkin’ peach considering this crappy turn of events.
Just because Dash was used to being rushed to the hospital didn’t mean that he resented it any less. Especially when he’d been curled up all nice and comfortable with food delivery punched in and on the way. Sure, he’d been having some chest pains for the past few days since the incubation had started to encroach further and further on his organs, but that was largely par for the course until he’d wobbled to his feet towards the door to pay for his food—only for his consciousness to cut out like a light-switch the moment he’d keyed in the code for the door, sending him crashing over the threshold.
He’s just grateful he hadn’t ended up crushing the twenty-thousand dollar payload sitting inside of him.
“Give me a second….I have a bit of an idea, but lets see what exactly’s going on in there first.” Harvey hummed as he snapped on a pair of protective gloves, looking at his pouty charge on the bed and shaking his head.
“You know…you’re lucky that delivery guy had enough of a conscience to call you an ambulance. Maybe this will teach you to try contacting me first, before you push yourself to passing out?”
“You know I never learn my lesson,” Dash smirked, lips breaking into a grimace as a tight pang throbbed through his torso, “a-and c’mon, how was I supposed to know that would happen? I’ve…had coughing and chest pains before…”
Admittedly, though, they’d never been as stifling as these ones seemed to be. He felt like he was breathing through pebbles, cluttering up his respiratory tract from lung to throat and rattling around painfully against tender flesh. Coupled with the occasional twisting movement in his tightly packed stomach, and the dizziness smearing his vision, it was basically hell.
But now Dash was here in the hospital, and in Harvey’s care, and he was definitely gonna fix it, so he tried to let himself relax at least a little bit, even if he was still pretty pissed off.
“This sucks,” Dash groaned, glaring accusingly down his body, “I…I had plans this weekend…”
“If by plans, you meant sitting around and eating your weight in take out…” Harvey hummed as he pulled the hem of the gown up and over Dash’s tight abdomen, checking his skin and palpating lightly against it.
“Hey, that count as plans…” he winced as the slight twinge of pressure against his stretched skin, “…’n now I gotta be here…the food is s-shitty and I just wanna go home…”
“I get it,” Harvey shot his friend a sympathetic look, “but trust me, if you’ve got pneumonia or something like that, it’s best to just get it squared away before it gets worse, sport,” he hummed, satisfied by the lack of serious bruising or abnormal discoloration on his friend’s belly. Outwardly, everything seemed normal, but of course if he’d learned anything from being Dash’s physician it was that first impressions could be extremely deceiving.
“Sport,” Dash groaned distastefully, scrubbing his fingers over a bit of phlegm that’d collected in the corner of his mouth “please, never say that again, oh my god….you sound like a sitcom dad…”
He took in a breath, as deep as he could manage with this stifling weight inside his chest. It felt like someone had packed his whole torso with concrete. Except in the most extreme circumstances he’d at least been able to look forward to his chest being spared the same writhing, painful pressure that regularly bloated his stomach. But nope, this time around he felt packed to the lungs with something dense and hard and suffocating.
“Well, if you stop complaining so I can listen to your chest, then maybe I can send you off with a diagnosis and some antibiotics, okay?” Harvey unwound the stethoscope from around his neck, bracing one hand against the arm of the hospital bed as he gingerly pulled the bunched hem of Dash’s gown up further, sliding his hand underneath the garment to press the cool disc of the stethoscope against his chest, frowning as his fingers brushed over a couple of ribs that hadn’t been tangible last examination.
This week’s assignment wasn’t anything major or high risk, he knew that much. Hell, Dash had even incubated this same species before with fairly—at least, according to their standards—mundane results. They were Sirillian Toothed Slugs, a species that tended to just chill around and feed and grow, with the occasional straggler needing to be dislodged from Dash’s intestinal lining. They were pretty low maintenance, and when he’d checked in with Dash earlier in the week the younger man had seemed content to go it alone, largely brushing Harvey off and assuring him he’d be fine. Harvey had been pretty content to just let him do that, you know, up until the whole passing out and hiding chest pains and worsening coughs from him for days.
So, Harvey was pretty confident the slugs had little to do with what was going on. None of the known complications of Toothed Slug incubations reflected what Dash was complaining about, so he figured it was some kind of additional bug he’d either picked up in the last week, or one that’d lingered and been exacerbated by the current incubation. Harvey knew first hand that the guy didn’t exactly take the best care of himself, and intermittent chest pain, difficulty breathing, and a hacking cough did sound like a common respiratory tract issue rather than something born from the foreign bodies cruising in Dash’s innards.
Harvey listened closely to his friend’s chest, trying to ignore the reedy wheeze of even his resting breaths as he asked him to inhale deeply, hold, and exhale. Dash complied to the best of his ability, breath shaky as he held it for barely three seconds before letting it tumble from his lips.
“There’s definitely something restricting your breathing…” Harvey spoke lowly, trying to focus on the sounds he was hearing, to properly locate and determined where exactly that strained rattling was coming from. He was about to open his mouth and speak again when suddenly a loud and deep burble caused him to startle.
Okay, hearing Dash’s belly gurgle wasn’t totally unusual, but typically he couldn’t hear them so clearly when he listened to his chest. These were pretty loud, intermittently cutting over the rattling of Dash’s breath.
Harvey’s brows furrowed in confusion.
“W-What’s up?” Dash spoke, his voice buzzing against Harvey’s ears.
“It’s nothing,” he lied, shifting the stethoscope a little lower, until the disc rested over the bottom of his sternum, “just, um, are you sure your assignment was for Sirillian Toothed Slugs?”
“Uh, yeah? I don’t have….fucking brain damage or something…”
“Well, you did collapse…”
“Okay, do you want me to recite the alphabet backwards or something to prove it?” Dash spat before twitching in pain, his hand going to cup the side of his stomach, right over where it was starting to bulge and shift. Harvey’s eyes flicked to his friend’s distended abdomen, watching the skin ripple and stretch to the movements of the brood inside him.
“Do they move around a lot?”
“I…I dunno…I guess…maybe a little less than last time? But I just…I feel so heavy…everything feels so heavy…like my stomach and chest are full of rocks…” he moaned, “…wouldn’t that just be my luck…accidentally getting filled with fucking rocks…”
“They’re not rocks, rocks don’t mov—.”
Harvey started as he heard a loud, squelching noise that was definitely not his heartbeat nor his stomach, followed by a vibrating thud against the stethoscope—and Dash’s ribs—that made the younger man exhaled sharply.
“W-What the hell was that?” Dash’s eyes widened, falling to his chest. “D-Did you just? Did I just—?”
“I…” Harvey honestly didn’t have an answer for him at this point. He pulled his hand out from under his shirt, unhooking the stethoscope from his ears.
“Let’s…lets get a closer look inside you.” He rose, retrieving the ultrasound quickly and returning to his friend’s side. He turned it on with hurried fingers, trying to calm down and focus as he spread the gel and pressed the wand against Dash’s belly too harshly at first, easing the pressure when the young man hissed and crunched his fist into the sheets.
“Sorry, buddy, sorry…”
The image flickered up on the screen, giving Harvey a clear view of what was packed deep into his friend’s insides, and…
Those….that…sure didn’t look like Sirillian Toothed Slugs.
He shock must have shown on his face, because the next thing he new Dash was trying to sit up, even as his body clearly protested. Harvey was quick to place a gentle, staying hand on his friend’s upper arm, trying to get him to lay back down until he could figure out what exactly he was looking at.
“Nothing, nope, everything’s fine, just….just getting a better look at these little guys…” Little, ugh, no whatever this was it was far from little. He kept the ultrasound monitor turned far away from Dash, though after being pushed back into the bed he showed little interest in doing anything but lying there and looking forlornly at him.
Wow, he looked really pale and thin and not at all good. You should have been more worried before—stupid, Edmund, stupid—
Harvey felt his worry wind up tighter inside him as he steadily moved the wand of the ultrasound up and over his friend stomach, concern only clenching as he saw the thick, dark grey protrusions of the incubation winding up from where they had initially latched, not in his intestines like the slugs would be, but instead blooming outside his organs, worming up from the abdominal cavity and—and—
“Holy shit.” Harvey breathed, forgetting himself.
“W-Well that’s not exactly what I wanted to hear…” Dash chuckled grimly, hand cupping the underside of his stomach as he tried to sit up, “…uh, Dash to Harv, you’re breaking up, mind if you clue me in on what’s going on? Since it’s y’know inside me and al—“ Harvey’s eyes snapped up from the shocking pictures on the monitor at the sound of his friend’s voice choking off into a strangled silence. Before his eyes he watched as frantic, heaving movements began to thrash around inside of Dash, more violently than before. It jerked and punched against his tight skin, as if realizing that it’d been discovered.
“S-Shit…” Dash managed several small, wet breaths as he clutched at his stomach, pain clearly tearing at his features, “H-Harv, help…”
Harvey barely had time to react when suddenly the sound of hacking and vomiting filled the room. Dash kicked uselessly at the sheets on the bed as his body seized up. Thick, bloody chunks spilled down the front of his shirt, some still connected to his mouth in a stream of viscous, red-black fluid. It’s a terrible enough sight to make sweat break out under Harvey’s collar, though what Dash rattled out next makes his perspiring run cold.
“Nnngh, I—fuck, fuck, it’s moving in my chest—“ Dash managed to choke out before a vicious, visible movement kicked upwards in his stomach, cutting off his air as his spine arched towards the ceiling despite the heavy weight on his middle. His fingers clench into the swollen flesh, trying in vain to contain or calm it or simply hang on for dear life. His stomach bulged outwards, pressing cruelly against his skin before rolling in one long wave up towards his chest, and for one brief, horrid moment Harvey’s nearly expected his friend’s ribcage to crack upwards and out in a wicked, visceral vault.
Though the terrible scream it tore from him was little better.
There wasn’t time to get Dash to pre-op, barely enough time to communicate a call for assistance and proper equipment. Harvey did his best, snapped an oxygen mask over Dash’s face as he choked for breath, more chunks of blood and foreign flesh heightening a risk of aspiration. There was a brief moment when their eyes locked, and while Harvey’s not entirely sure that he could see him fully anymore—Dash’s pale blue eyes were glassy and dazed—it hardens his resolve against the mounting panic as he steeled himself to remove the parasite that had become so closely interwoven with his friend’s body.
————
Dash wakes up feeling so light that at first he assumes that he’s probably died.
Considering his last coherent memory is his entire torso being thrashed and his lungs being squeezed by long squirming tendrils he figures the assumption isn’t too unlikely.
In fact the only reason he decides he’s alive is from the ache in his head and the receding numbness creeping from his chest down.
He lets out a groan, shifting slightly even with the sluggishness begging him to keep still on the bed. His eyelids flutter open, blinking against the bright lights of the room. Distantly, he hears a drone of pacing shoes stop in their tracks.
“Dashie…”
He feels a nice, warm palm against his clammy forehead, brushing hair out of the way as his eyes focus on the face swimming into clarity above him.
“Oh…hey…f-fancy meeting you here…” He murmurs sleepily, eyelids shuttering closed again. Part of him wants to slip back into sleep, to avoid This, but the shaded fear and relief he’d caught a glimpse of in Harvey’s eyes pull him back to the surface.
The hand that’s touching his forehead is now idly petting his hair, Normally he’d try to push his hand off, deflect and snark away any Mother hen-Harvey instincts but he’s pretty tired and Harvey probably hasn’t shaved or showered and most likely spent the past god knows how many hours untwisting whatever had nearly killed him from his guts and then glueing him back together.
“S-so, uh…” Dash takes a long, healing breath, relishing in air that’s free and painless, “those definitely weren’t…Sirillian Toothed Slugs…were they?”
Hey, there’s a little smile. It’s not too much, but hell, Dash’ll take it. Too bad it’s pretty fleeting, anyway, with Harvey’s expression dissolving back into a stiff, guilty grimace.
“Dracunculine Tissue Worm. It…wasn’t supposed to be there. To say the least.” Dash tilts his head to the side as Harvey takes a seat by his hospital bed, finally retracting his hand from his hair to rest over his forearm. He looks the way he sounds, bedraggled and hellish, stubble caught on his chin and hair stuck up through hours of fingers scraping through those grey-brown locks.
“There was a mix-up…already yelled at them for you, but feel free to do some more…it latched onto your omentum and infected your digestive tract, absorbing your nutrients…eventually penetrated up through your diaphragm…wormed its way into your thoracic cavity…filling up the space and attaching onto your lungs,” Harvey sighs, rubbing his eyes before pinching the bridge of his nose, “in another couple of days, it might have gotten into your heart.”
Dash’s chest twitches in memory.
“Ooh…well…that would’ve been pretty bad, huh…”
Harvey is quiet for a moment, and when he leans back and speaks, his voice aches.
“…Yeah. Yeah, it would have been bad.”
More quiet lingers between them, the beep and breath of the machines pushing oxygen in and out of Dash’s lungs the only thing sounding in the room and it’s making him antsy.
“Ugh….everything hurts…” Dash hisses to break the silence, “I’m telling you, Harv…I-If I don’t get compensated for this shit, then….believe me, I’m going to quit.”
Harvey laughs—the sound hollow, twitching like a nerve raw and achingly close to the surface—and Dash can’t help but wince, because he can tell that Harvey doesn’t believe him.

Homeopathy Treatment for Acute And Chronic Bronchitis!
Chronic bronchitis is defined as a long term inflammation of swelling of the bronchitis. In bronchitis the tissue lining the bronchi becomes irritated and inflamed, causing increased secretion of mucus and a narrowing of the airways. This produces the characteristic cough. For many people, the cough itself becomes an aggravating factor and worsens their condition.
Up to 95 % of cases of acute bronchitis are caused by viral infection, with most of the rest caused by environmental irritants. The most common viral causes are influenza, parainfluenza, and the common cold viruses. Unfortunately, in many cases (up to 70 percent), antibiotics are prescribed for acute viral bronchitis, making it one of the leading situations in which antibiotics are misused.
Unfortunately, there is little that can be done to stop an episode of acute bronchitis once it begins. The most common recommendation for treatment is to wait for the inflammation to subside naturally, which will relieve the coughing and other symptoms.
Types of Bronchitis
Bronchitis may be classified into two types-acute or chronic. This classification is based on the duration of the presence of symptoms. Bronchitis is called acute when it is present only for a short period of time or acute bronchitis recovers within a few days. Bronchitis is called chronic when it is present most of the time in a year or prevails for a long time.
Symptoms of chronic bronchitis:
There are many sign and symptoms of chronic bronchitis:
Persistent cough producing yellow, white, or green phlegm (for at least three months of the year, and for more than two consecutive years).
Sometimes wheezing, sometimes breathlessness.
Shortness of breath aggravated by exertion or mild activity
Frequent respiratory infections that worsen symptoms
Wheezing
Fatigue
Ankle, foot, and leg swelling that affects both sides
Headaches
Causes of chronic bronchitis:
Chronic bronchitis is caused mostly by cigarette smoking. When cigarette smoke enters the lungs, it irritates the airways, causing mucus to form. People who have been exposed for a long time to other things that irritate their lungs, such as chemical fumes, dust, and other substances, can also develop the chronic bronchitis.
Repeated exposure to harmful fumes at the workplace.
Air pollution
Homeopathy Treatment for Chronic Bronchitis:
Homeopathy is very effective in the treatment of bronchitis. In reality, it is the most promising medical technique for treating bronchitis. Bronchitis can be treated with homoeopathic remedies, which are both effective and safe.
The nurse said the doctors thought that his pain was due to his was just trying to get better. It would take him months to fully recovery.
He finished his whole tray of food. His pain level decreased to 1 or 2 with less blood in his phlegm. He was able to rest all day today. The nurses wanted him to blow the IS to exercise his lungs.
We had a discussion about his situation, and we both agreed that we should wait for the coronavirus result to come back before we could determine the cause of the worsening pneumonia. We wanted to know if there was any remaining virus that was still attacking his lungs.
The doctor was giving him double dose hydroxychloroquine without any test result. It didn’t seem right to me that they were putting him on the same drug again without testing him. I was angry about this medical system because people of importance could get their results within hours while patient who needed it get it in days (he had been in the hospital for 3 days already without getting any results).
The infectious disease doctor came and clarified his situation. From a patient’s perspective, he came in for chest pain. From the doctor’s perspective, the ER did not communicate with the doctor who discharged him. They took a CT scan only because he said he felt internal bleeding and the ER doctors weren’t sure what to do. The worsening result was normal because his lungs were in recovery stage. His blood test and vitals were fine. In terms of fluid, it was not internal bleeding, but mucus. The ER department admitted him and gave him a lot of drugs because his second scan was worst. He explained that coughing and chest pain were both normal. He should only return to the ER only for emergency. He also said that whether he was infectious or not was not the hospital’s concern. They only focused on getting him back into good health.
It sounded irresponsible to me that no one knew what was going on and what was after that. Doctors were just assuming he was recovering and didn’t want to monitor him afterwards. Once he’s out of the hospital, he’s on his own. It just seemed uncaring for me. It was also irresponsible of them to not able to find out if he was infectious or not. His result could benefit future research, but nothing was done.

What Is Peppermint Oil?
9 Uses and Benefits of Peppermint Oil
Composition of Peppermint Oil
How to Make Infused Peppermint Oil
How Does Peppermint Oil Work?
Is Peppermint Oil Safe?
Side Effects of Peppermint Oil
History shows a wide range of uses for peppermint essential oil, which has been used as far back in time as ancient Rome and Egypt.1 Various cultures have used this oil not only for its minty fragrance, but for its therapeutic benefits as well. In addition, peppermint oil is known to symbolize hospitality.2
What Is Peppermint Oil?
Peppermint oil is derived from the leaves of the peppermint plant (Mentha piperita), a hybrid of the water mint and spearmint plants, and M. arvensis var. piperascens, a plant from the Labiatae family.3 It is often used as a home remedy for stomach problems, muscle pain and headaches. Peppermint oil can be utilized in capsules or supplements as well.4
9 Uses and Benefits of Peppermint Oil
Peppermint oil is used in aromatherapy, the practice of using essential oils to support health,5 where it is found to be effective in relieving pain6 and nausea,7 and in improving memory and raising alertness.8 According to published research, peppermint oil exhibits antiviral, antimicrobial, antifungal, antioxidant, analgesic, radioprotective and anti-edema properties,9 and may be useful for:
• Providing relief for stomach problems — Peppermint oil is a safe and effective alternative to medications in reducing colonic spasms.10 It may help ease abdominal pain11 and provide relief for indigestion and upset stomach.12
Research has also shown that peppermint oil is effective in improving symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).13 Another study reveals similar findings.14 Peppermint contains large concentrations of menthol15 that may assist in decreasing smooth muscle spasms and blocking calcium channels in the gut.16
• Easing respiratory problems — Peppermint oil can be used as an expectorant and decongestant.17 It can help clear up phlegm in your respiratory tract18 when used as a chest rub or inhaled through a vaporizer.19
The essential oil may also benefit individuals with tuberculosis. Researchers found that when inhaled, the oil can help decrease tuberculosis-induced inflammation and minimize the risk of the disease from worsening or recurring.20 Peppermint oil can also relieve asthma because it contains rosmarinic acid, an anti-inflammatory compound.21,22
• Relieving pain — Peppermint oil may help relieve sore muscles when added to a massage oil blend or to bathwater. Dabbing a few drops on your wrist or inhaling the aroma can ease headaches. You can also massaged the oil onto your temples.23,24
• Promoting positive effects on cancer-related treatments — Peppermint oil may help address chemotherapy-induced nausea. It may also help treat hot flashes in women receiving treatment for breast cancer.25
• Helping ease herpes infections — Peppermint oil was found to have a beneficial effect against drug-resistant herpes simplex virus. Because of its lipophilic nature, peppermint oil can pass through the skin, making it potentially useful against recurrent herpes infection.26
• Enhancing hair and skin health — Mixing peppermint oil into massage oils,27 shampoos and lotions28 may give these products antiseptic29 and antimicrobial properties. The oil can also help cool skin and eliminate dandruff30 or lice from your scalp,31 or contribute to hair growth.32
• Improving dental health — Peppermint oil extract may be more effective than the mouthwash chemical chlorhexidine in preventing development of biofilm that may lead to cavities33 and bad breath.34
• Providing comfort for stress and nervous system problems — Due to its energizing effects, peppermint oil is used to help manage stress and treat nervous disorders and mental fatigue. Studies suggest that the essential oil may have an effect similar to psychostimulants, as shown in an animal study.35
• Acting as a natural insect repellent — Peppermint oil may work in repelling insects,36 while the cooling sensation it provides can help relieve itching by blocking the irritating sensation.37
Composition of Peppermint Oil
The two major components of peppermint essential oil are menthol and menthone,38 which are why it’s widely used as an ingredient in lozenges, toothpastes39 and rubs.40 Other constituents found in peppermint oil are menthyl acetate,41 1,8-cineole, limonene, beta-pinene and beta-caryophyllene.42
How to Make Infused Peppermint Oil
There are several ways to make your own peppermint oil infusion at home. Here is one recipe from eHow.com you can try:43
Ingredients
Fresh peppermint leaves available in supermarkets or health food stores44 (You can also grow your own peppermint leaves, as the plant is easy to grow45 and you avoid ingesting chemical additives46)
Carrier oil
Colander
Clean dish towel
Mallet or mortar and pestle
Cheesecloth or fine mesh strainer
Glass bottle or container with a lid
Procedure
Place leaves inside the colander. Gently spray them with cool water, and spread on a clean kitchen towel to air-dry.
Using a mallet or mortar and pestle, gently crush the leaves and ensure they have a strong peppermint smell and are slightly bruised. Refrain from overgrinding or over-pounding. If you’ll be using a mallet, place leaves on a cutting board or counter first, then gently tap the leaves with it. If you’ll be using a mortar and pestle, use the pestle to gently press the leaves.
Fill the glass bottle with peppermint leaves. Pour carrier oil into it until the leaves are thoroughly submerged. Tightly close the jar and shake lightly so the oil covers the leaves.
Place the sealed jar away from direct sunlight for around 24 to 48 hours so the peppermint leaves may steep in the oil.
Carefully pour the steeped oil through a cheesecloth or fine-mesh strainer into a new glass jar. Discard used leaves and store finished oil in a cool, dark area. Use within four to six months.
How Does Peppermint Oil Work?
While it is tempting to buy products containing peppermint oil, using it in its whole state without additional ingredients may yield more positive results.47 However, it should never be utilized undiluted because it can cause irritation, especially to those with sensitive skin.48 It must be diluted in carrier oils like sweet almond, jojoba, coconut and olive, and used under the supervision of a qualified practitioner.
Peppermint oil is sensitive to heat, and should be stored in a cool place in tightly sealed bottles.49 Avoid using peppermint oil alongside other supplements and drugs, since it may trigger negative effects. For instance, peppermint oil can disrupt the rate at which your body processes cyclosporine, causing more of the medication to stay in your bloodstream.50
Peppermint oil is also known to interact with other drugs like felodipine (Plendil), simvastatin (Zocor), antacids, calcium channel blockers and blood pressure-lowering medicines.51
Is Peppermint Oil Safe?
Peppermint oil is safe in low amounts in most adults, but it can trigger side effects in people with sensitivities. It is important for the following individuals to either avoid using this essential oil or to use it carefully only with the help of a health care professional:52,53
• Pregnant and nursing women — Peppermint oil or other similar products may have emmenagogue and abortifacient effects, so it would be wise not to use peppermint oil without your physician’s approval.54
• Infants and children 7 years old and younger — Peppermint oil must not be used undiluted because there isn’t enough information regarding its safety for them.55,56
• Diabetics — Using peppermint oil may raise your risk of low blood sugar levels or hypoglycemia.57
• Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and hiatal hernia patients — Peppermint can relax the sphincter between the stomach and the esophagus, and cause acid to move up to the esophagus.58
• People with gallbladder problems — Peppermint oil may cause gallbladder inflammation; those diagnosed with gallstones should consult a physician before using peppermint oil.59
• People taking antacids — These drugs can cause peppermint oil capsules to break down easily, increasing the risk of heartburn.60
