Y/N smirked, wrapping his arms around Sangwoo's neck and straddling him. "And I will exploit it~", he chuckled, kissing Sangwoo's nose. His boyfriend whined, his blush getting more evident. Y/N giggled, glad to have found Sangwoo's weakness. It had been unfair how flustered he got from the words, so now he had a way of making the field even.
They cuddled in bed again, because of course they did. No matter how cheesy and cliche it was, they felt better this way. Though this time, Y/N had insisted on being the Big Spoon. A choice Sangwoo soon regretted. Y/N used this new position to his advantage, leaving small kisses on Sangwoo's neck. May his soul be helped, because he felt like he was about to die. Way to much blood in one body part. Why was his boyfriend so cute?!
Y/N had a weird dream that night. He saw a Squid, and masks. Bushes and trees growing around him and covering him from everything else. Pink butterflies and symbols made from foam floated through the air. A hooded figure chasing him, calling out the word Three over and over. He ran through this eldritch forest, searching his way out. But there was none, just an endless maze of colorful trees. Up until he heard Sangwoo's voice call out for him, and a path opened up. He ran, until he could see his boyfriend's figure, arms open for Y/N to fall into, to cuddle against him. All while Sangwoo hugged him back, calling his name over and over...
Sangwoo smiled at his sleeping lover. He had tried to wake him for the past five minutes, but Y/N seemed to be deep in dreamland. Okay, maybe he could let him sleep a little bit longer, prepare breakfast or so. After all, it was not like the guards could break in without him noticing, so it was safe to leave Y/N right now. He poured himself a cup of coffee as he prepared the food. Come to think of it, he didn't knew what kind of food Y/N favored. If he even favored anything. Or what kind of thing he would enjoy as a gift. Maybe he should ask those things soon...
Patted footsteps entered the kitchen, and Sangwoo nearly spat out his coffee and dropped the cup. Y/N had entered, wearing one of Sangwoo's shirts, and doing the cutest, cat-like sleepy yawn in the world, rubbing his eyes afterward and only looking cuter. How exactly was he supposed to survive this again?
Sangwoo placed a hand under Y/N's chin, gently turning so they'd face each other. "Whatever it is, it's okay. I won't hate you or judge or leave you. I...I couldn't do those things." He meant those words. Just waking without Y/N had thrown him into a panic. Leaving Y/N behind? no, that was impossible. He didn't even knew why Y/N was so important to him. They had known each other barely a week when he "died", yet it had almost killed Sangwoo. Y/N sighed, got up, and took the bag. "Look", he said.
Sangwoo began slowly pulling out the contents of the bag, looking at each item that resembled the games of when he was apart of Squid Game. His brows furrowed. There was even little items of the games y/n wasn’t apart of. He glanced up at y/n to see him looking down at the ground. Almost as if he was ashamed. Sangwoo continued looking at all the contents, before feeling a familiar texture at the bottom of the bag. He looked down and almost stopped breathing. The 218 seemingly mocked him, their color a bright white. “Y/n is this-“ “Yes. It’s the tracksuit.” He said simply put. Sangwoo dropped it back into the bag and pulled y/n close and looked into his eyes, like trying to find out why he had it. Though y/n continued to stare down. He knew if Sangwoo found it, his reaction wouldn’t be positive. “It’s so I know I’m not crazy.” He mumbled out. “After the first game, I got told I was crazy because it didn’t exist. I believed them..”
Y/n met Sangwoo’s gaze and almost started crying. “I have proof now that I’m not crazy- that it all happened to me-“ He let out a weak laugh and rested his head on Sangwoo’s shoulder as he began to tremble. Sangwoo instinctively hugged him close. “You’re not crazy. I went through the same thing, and I watched you go through it all over again. Never think or let people make you believe that what you went through wasn’t real. It was real, as much as I hate to say it.” He looked down at the tracksuit. He hated that stupid number, along with the color. It reminded him of pure hell.
