Now, hop on over to your Venmo app and open it up. Click on the three horizontal lines, aka the menu icon

Once you’re all verified, you’re ready to roll. You can send money from Venmo to your Cash App account using the info you copied earlier

This is one of the most direct methods to transfer money from Venmo to Cash App – but it’s not always the fastest. 

Since Cash App functions like a bank account, your transfer will be treated as a standard ACH transfer with a timeline of 2-3 days – but it’s free. 

Need it faster? Pay Venmo’s instant transfer fees of 1.75% of the amount.

Method #2 – Linking your Cash App Card

Already have a Cash Card (the Cash App debit card)?

Don’t want to mess around with direct deposits?

Simply add your Cash Card details to Venmo and load it up with the balance you hold in Venmo. 

Here’s how you can go about it:

Add card to Venmo’s Payment Methods

Open up your Venmo app on your phone. You’ll see a menu icon that looks a bit like a mini hamburger. Tap on that to get to the app’s settings. 

From there, look for “Payment Methods” and give it a tap.

Next, you’ll see an option that says “Add a Bank or Card.” Tap on that and then pick “Card” to move on to the next step.

Method #3 Linking Your Bank Account to Both Platforms

Link the same bank account to both services as an intermediary. 

This will help you:

Withdraw your Venmo balance and then add it to the Cash App

Here’s how you can do that:-

1. Add the Bank Account to the Cash App

First things first, let’s add a common bank account to your Cash App

Verify it to start adding money to the Cash App

2. Switch to Venmo

Transfer your Venmo balance to your bank account. Look for a button that says “Transfer Money” and give it a tap

3. Back to Cash App

After the balance has made its way to your bank account, open up Cash App

On the home page, find the Balance Tab and tap it.

Now, click on “Add Cash” and punch in how much you want to add.

You’ll be asked to verify this activity with your Touch ID or your PIN 

You can do the same thing in reverse to add your Cash App balance to Venmo. 

Standard deposits with this method can take 2-3 days but if you want to get your money faster, you can use the instant transfer feature on Cash App. This will let you deposit your money right away, but you will have to pay a small fee.

Potential Problems

You should be able to move money seamlessly with the methods we’ve shared above. 

However, transferring money between Venmo and Cash App may not always be the best idea. 

Here’s why:

Transfer limits: Both Venmo and Cash App have limits on how much money you can send or receive in a given period. If you’re not aware of these limits, your transaction may fail.

For example, you can only withdraw up to USD 400 per day from Venmo or USD 999 per week (unverified users).  If you verify, you can send up to $19,999.99 per week. Cash App also has limits on how much you can add per day or week. 

Fees involved: If you use standard withdrawal from Venmo to Cash App, your transfer may be free. However, if you want to withdraw the money instantly and then add it to the Cash App, you’ll pay about 1.75% of the amount per withdrawal. 

Funds not protected: The funds you hold on Venmo or Cash App are not usually protected by the FDIC in case of theft or fraud (or if the company goes out of business). 

Your money on Cash App is only protected if you apply for a CashCard (Cash App debit card) – which is issued in partnership with an FDIC-insured bank. 

That’s why we recommend only holding small amounts for daily expenses on either app and withdrawing the rest to your bank account.

Safety and Security

Transferring money between Venmo and Cash App through your bank account or using your Cash Card is generally safe, especially since both apps use solid security features like two-factor authentication and high-end encryption.

However, holding large amounts of money on either app, paying people and businesses you don’t know, and linking someone else’s bank account to move money between your Venmo and Cash App can potentially get your account blocked. 

Keep an eye on the limits while transferring money and on the balance you hold regularly.

Oh man everyone's getting attacked right now. Laney's pushed into the glass table, the tank's moved or something, someone took out the lights. The drummer with video sight helps Laney outta there; he's got infrared so he can see in the dark. He was actually in the last chapter but I figured he was just a small detail.

As expected, Rez is totally fine and basically just completely unfussed about being attacked and a tactical unit apparently on the way to defuse the situation. His mind's not entirely present in the physical and real, which I mean figuratively but I'm not ruling out literally. Also, he finally introduces himself to Laney and gets the name wrong. Heh.

The last two chapters have been much better about things cliffhanger wise than the previous sets.

Chapter 28: A Matter of Credit Back to Maryalice & Chia at the love hotel. Poor Chia, way in over her head. She's accidentally stolen the goods, but according to Maryalice, noone believes it because they think she's working for Rez. Apparently Rez has an interest in these goods, of all things. Considering the Russians were tracking Chia, that explains why they're suddenly after Rez. Chia now off the map, they think he's got the package.

Ah, Maryalice was smuggling nanotech assemblers. She doesn't like it cos it seems alive. Builds whatever you program them to, if you have enough. I have a feeling I know what Rez wants it for. He wants his wife to be 3D. The Russians just want it badly because apparently it's illegal to sell this powerful toy to them and Maryalice's boyfriend is doing a black market gig here.

Goddammit her pistol is just a lighter. Guess that's why it was described last time as "little square gray" with a handle of "pearly plastic". Still a cool moment though.

CALOOCAN CITY, March 14 (PIA) -- The Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) has started releasing LandBank cash cards to students eligible to receive cash aid under the Social Amelioration Program (SAP) for students.

A total of 7,266 PLM students who are bona fide residents of the City of Manila will now have more convenient access to their monthly allowances through cash cards from the Land Bank of the Philippines (LandBank).

Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso has approved the release of cash grants.

Those who previously applied for the cash cards are notified via e-mail advising them on how to claim the cards. Latest data show that 3,875 students are eligible to receive their cards, giving way to electronic distribution. The remaining students who have not yet applied may do so online by submitting the requirements through the SAP portal of PLM’s Computerized Registration System.

As of 2 p.m. today, 2,906 students have received their Landbank cash cards.

Students who have been notified that they can claim their SAP cards today, March 13, 2021, were told to bring a copy of their student enrollment record and the signed cash card application form, which they will submit to the validators. The form must have a 2” x 2” ID picture attached. They also need to accomplish a health declaration form before entering the campus, and to sign a Data Privacy consent form prior to card issuance. 

“We are happy to shift our SAP releases to cash cards for a seamless experience in delivering help that’s urgently needed by our students. This is just one of many ways we adapt to the new normal,” PLM President Emmanuel Leyco said. 

“We thank the City Government under the leadership of our beloved Mayor Francisco ‘Isko Moreno’ Domagoso for making this possible,” he added. 

The University reminds students that the cash cards will only be released to them and not to authorized representatives, in keeping with banking regulations. Other cash card recipients will be notified for claiming in select Landbank branches within the city. 

The releasing started at 6:45 a.m. on Saturday. Students are required to wear a face mask and face shield properly, practice social distancing, and to refrain from talking, eating, or drinking while within campus grounds for protection against COVID-19. Students were also advised to bring umbrellas. 

The cards contain the allowances for January to March, while succeeding benefits will be transferred to the bank accounts directly. 

The Manila City Government's SAP provides direct aid to students who are able to present proof of residence in the city. This is different from the national government's household-based SAP during the lockdown period. (PIA NCR)
