Fictober Day 1

Prompt: 1 - "I need you"

Fandom: KOTOR (Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic)/SWTOR (Star Wars the Old Republic

Rating: M (torture, death, manipulation, and mentions of genocide)

The woman who once took the name of Revan hung limp only being held upright by her bindings. Blood both dried and fresh covered her.  Her once long hair was cropped short towards her scalp. Burns from lightsabers and lighting covered her arms and torso. Her legs were shattered from failed escape attempts. Revan was barely holding on to consciousness. 

"Elane..." A voice that she hadn't heard in so long, but craved, said. Warm gentle hands were placed upon her battered and bruised cheeks. Revan managed to look up at him. Pink tears began to roll down her cheeks attempting to clean the blood.

"Carth." Revan whimpered. Using his thumb he wiped away her tears. 

"I'm here," Carth said. Revan's bindings were removed causing her to collapse against him. She groaned as her battered body moved for the first time in so long. His body was warm and solid. He set her down. This allowed for her to see his eyes. They showed his concern and love, but there was something...

"How?" Revan whispered

"Shh, it doesn't matter. I need you. The Republic needs your help." Carth said

"What?" Revan groaned. She tried to sit up but was stopped by Carth's hand. 

"The Empire is attacking the Republic. I heard them mention that they had you imprisoned. I had to come and save you." Carth said

"The others?" Revan asked

"Here, they are making sure that the way is clear," Carth said. Relief flooded Revan's body. Everyone was ok. 

"We need to go," Revan grunted.

"Give yourself a moment to rest, Elane. You've been tortured for stars know how long." Carth said. Revan frowned slightly at that. Carth was practical he would rather drag her through the halls than risk the Sith was catching up to them. 

"Carth..." Revan huffed.

"I know," Carth said with a slight smile. It then disappeared. "The Republic is being slaughtered. We need something like the Star Forge." Revan's eyes widened in horror. 

"I..." Revan started

"Please, if you don't everything we worked so hard for will be destroyed," Carth said

"Alright," Revan said. She closed her eyes. "Come closer. I'll tell you, but I don't want to be overheard."

"Of course," Carth said. He moved closer. Close enough that she could feel his breath on her shoulder. Like lightning, she struck without warning. With her bare hands, she began to choke him. He moved his hands up to stop her, but her grip remained firm. Revan kept her eyes closed. Tears began to pour out of her eyes. Finally, he fell limp on top of her. With the last of her strength, she laid him on the ground. She opened her eyes and looked at Carth. Revan couldn't stop the sob from leaving her mouth as she collapsed against the man she loved. She heard footsteps that headed towards her. Revan looked up and saw him.

"You'll pay for this, Tenebrae. You and all the Sith. I will destroy you all no matter what it takes." Revan growled. Tenebrae laughed and the illusion faded. The man she was crying on was now a Sith Pure Blood. She kicked away the corpse. 

"You are pathetic, nothing but an insect." Tenebrae laughed. Revan bared her teeth at him. He shot force lightning at her. She collapsed with screams being torn from her throat. 

Revan surrendered to the darkness.
