Rp status
;; 6 big rp's to get to in my tracker.
I want to apologize for how scattered my rp attention has been lately. The ADD has been a burden IRL as well. So rest assured I'm not intentionally being inconsiderate or trying to stretch people thin or frustrate anyone with my small attention span. I am trying to do better and making a conscious effort.
So I'll be attempting to focus on one (or two in the cases of favorite partners) games per partner until those games complete before moving to another. Seems like a sound plan.
I usually avoid this because I don't want guff from people angry at me for not including them in the rp tracker. But people in there rn include but aren't limited to:
@theplottingtrio /@ahayculeanfeat - a lot lol. Thinking we could focus on the Everfree verse thread to wrap it up and the Haycules thread.
@cloudhoppinggriffon -maybe finish up the Moon thread and I'll reply to our Ammon thread.
@whentheworldwasmine -probably wrap up the Almas/Carol thread soon.
@freedomisbeforethee -the siren/Gel thread on sirenesmaris.
@courtcomposer - the songbird thread with the magic instrument. I replied but I'm noting it here.
@musarxm - the library thread.
@scnsetting - thread on sirenesmaris with Aria confronting Sunset.
@theseasofsiebreas -Tidal Wave on snakehorses.
@bigiguanas - Sonata meets a dino!
There's others I'd like to reply to as well in my tracker but those are the ones I wanted to point out to my partners.

New York Times Lists Hundreds More Artists Who May Have Lost Tapes In UMG Fire
Just recently, the estates of famous musicians including Tom Petty and Tupac learned some of their original master recordings were destroyed in a 2008 warehouse fire. Universal Music Group, the label responsible for preserving the material, has since been slapped with a class-action lawsuit representing the estates, as well as Hole, Soundgarden, Steve Earle, No Doubt and more.
The New York Times uncovered the story of the 2008 Universal fire in the article titled The Day the Music Burned. As more of the disaster comes to light, we’re learning of the other plethora of artists from all different genres who lost their master recordings. Many were unaware of the extent of damage caused by the fire — until now.
The publication has released a long list of the hundreds of musicians that may have been affected. According to the report, “it is not possible to assert definitively which masters were burned in the fire, nor can it be said categorically that all of these artists did in fact lose masters. It also cannot be determined exactly how many of the destroyed masters were primary-source originals.
“What can be said with certainty is that these are artists whose material UMG believed had been lost in the fire and whose recordings the company spent tens of millions of dollars trying to replace.”

First bill emerges this year to legalize marijuana in Illinois — would allow up to 24 plants at home
A Democratic state lawmaker has filed a bill to legalize recreational marijuana in Illinois that likely goes further than other legislators prefer, but it has officially started the debate over complex legislation that will need to serve many interests.
The bill, introduced Jan. 25 by Rep. Carol Ammons of Urbana, would allow licensed businesses to grow and sell pot, and residents to grow up to 24…

Day 211 / Jul 29
Isa. 9-12
the tense is hard to keep straight with all these prophecies and what not
9: Those who suffer right now won't suffer in those days Before, God had contempt for Zebulun and Naphtali, but then, he will make it glorious, Galilee and other lands The people who lived in fear of death will have light and joy They rejoice because God takes off their yoke like he did in Midian In those days, a child will be born and he will be called the Prince of Peace[1] And he will establish a kingdom on David's throne and God will perform this
Even though Israel and Syria were punished, they will not learn They'll still keep doing the same things So God will send Aram and Philistia to punish Israel He will cut off it's head and tails He will not have compassion for anyone, not the men or women or fatherless or widows For all the people are wicked because their leaders lead them astray Everyone is evil There will be cannibalism on a personal and interstate level
10: Woe to those who are corrupt and make evil laws and exploit the poor Where will they be on the Day of Judgement? They will not escape, they will be crushed like all the rest God will use Assyria to punish Israel for their wickedness But Assyria won't know they're being used by God, they just want to conquer Assyria will think that because they've conquered everything else, they can conquer Zion too One day, God will destroy Assyria as well A tool can't rebel against its owner, and so Assyria will go the way God makes it His coming shall be like a great purifying fire that levels the trees (population) so that only a few will remain There survivors will turn to God[2] Yes, he will strike Assyria like he struck Egypt Yahweh of Armies will level the trees, the tall trees of Lebanon will fall
11: Out of the stock left will come a shoot of Jesse[1] God's spirit will be on this person and he will be like God He will not judge by human standards, but by God's right and wrong In those days, friend and enemy shall live together in harmony To use a metaphor, it'll be like Zootopia/Beastars/BNA All the peoples of the earth will come to this root of Jesse God will bring together the Israelites from all corners of the earth to Zion Ephraim and Judah will overcome their differences and unite to conquer their neighbors the Philistines and Edom and Moab and Ammon and so on Yahweh will evaporate the Mediterranean sea so that people can walk across it?? (v. 15) There'll be a highway for all the exiled of Assyria to come back[3]
12: In those days, the peoples will sing hymns to God like "I will give thanks to you, Yahweh; for though you were angry with me, your anger has turned away and you comfort me. Behold, God is my salvation. I will trust, and will not be afraid; for Yah, Yahweh, is my strength and song; and he has become my salvation." and "Give thanks to Yahweh! Call on his name. Declare his doings among the peoples. Proclaim that his name is exalted! Sing to Yahweh, for he has done excellent things! Let this be known in all the earth! Cry aloud and shout, you inhabitant of Zion; for the Holy One of Israel is great among you!"
[1]: A lot of these characteristics were ascribed to Christ in the christian tradition and all of these are present in the carol "Veni, Veni, Immanuel" which was originally written in Latin about 1200 years ago. A pretty good version of the song [2]: This is basically God being a lawyer and getting around the rules. After the flood, he promised that he would do a flood again, but seeing that the world is just as corrupt again, he decides to something different. [3]: Given that the 10 northern tribes are still lost, it seems that God has not delivered on his promise yet.
dear God my upload schedule is abysmal, i need to fix this shit
"He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me." 2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB

Some members of the University of Delaware Board of Trustees, which has sole authority over Joe Biden's Senate archive, have close ties to the former vice president, Fox News reported.Calls to make the archive public have grown over the past week as former Biden staffer Tara Reade's allegations of sexual assault, which Reade says occurred in 1993 when Biden was a senator for Delaware, have garnered increasing media coverage. The Biden campaign has denied the allegations.Biden deposited his Senate archive at the University of Delaware in 2012. Initially, the university promised to open the archive two years after Biden's last day in public office. However, in April 2019 hours before Biden announced his presidential campaign, the university decided to keep the archive closed until December 31, 2019 or until Biden retires from public life.The chairman of the university's Board of Trustees is longtime Biden donor John Cochran. In 1996, Cochran bought Biden's home for $1.2 million, shortly after which Biden's son Hunter was hired by MBNA, where Cochran was vice chairman at the time.Board member Terri Kelly, former CEO of W.L. Gore & Associates, donated the maximum legal amount to the Biden presidential campaign in 2019. Carol Ammon, another board member, has given $10,000 to the campaign and related PAC's. Five additional board members have donated upwards of $1,000 to Biden and affiliated PAC's.While the Biden campaign has denied the allegations from Reade, Biden himself has not directly addressed the allegations, including at a virtual town hall on Tuesday on women's issues during which he received the endorsement of Hillary Clinton. Democratic politicians including Senator Kirsten Gillibrand of New York and former Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams have up to now backed Biden."I think the [Democratic National Committee] is a sham and their silence around what happened to me as a Democratic staffer is unconscionable," Reade told National Review on Wednesday.
