Random headcanons that won’t leave my head and prevent me from writing fics

George is the one to wake up most nights to comfort Logan. He’s a lighter sleeper and can hear when Logan is waking up and about to cry.

Logan models baby clothes for Williams, Mercedes, Ferrari and his dads’ personal brands. He’s so cute and smiles for the camera as long as his dads are behind the camera. He doesn’t respond well being left along in a studio with strangers, large lights and cameras.

Logan loved to crawl and cling to his dad’s feet. This becomes a problem when they’re walking and don’t want to trip over him. He’s a fast crawler and doesn’t understand things can fall on him when he hits them.

Oscar also models baby clothes for McLaren and Quadrant. Getting him into Ferrari clothes were too much of a hassle so they gave up and took Logan instead.

Carlos takes Oscar to see a karting race at 8 months old. Oscar can’t race because he’s too young but he wants to so bad and cries when they have to leave the track.

Lando, despite his fears and screams, killed a giant wasp with his hands when it was flying near Oscar. He screamed the whole time which only freaked Oscar out and made him cry. Carlos was on the phone with Lando at the time and thought something awful happened.

Logan and Oscar get sick together a lot. When one is down the other is down and it becomes a nightmare especially during a race weekend. Logan will cry loudly because he’s sick and uncomfortable and scared and wants his dads. Oscar is the opposite and just whimpers miserably half the time. The tears don't stop but he's too tired and miserable to wail.

Logan’s first step was when he didn’t want George to leave to go to Brackley. He toddled over and grabbed onto George’s leg. George cried the entire drive to Mercedes HQ. He also called Alex for the entire drive so he could apologize for having to leave while Logan was crying in the background for “dada”

Oscar’s first step was because Carlos has come home from a week-long trip to Spain. Oscar was playing in the living room when Carlos walked in with his suitcase. He was ecstatic and stumbled his way over to Carlos while Lando and Carlos cried and filmed the whole thing. Oscar also tried to pull on the suitcase so Carlos wouldn’t leave again but it just ended up falling on him.

Sometimes, when Lando is bored, he’ll text Carlos things that will absolutely get him in trouble (the best kind of trouble) later. Usually it’s funny. Less frequently, it’s funny and also just really sweet.

- no way. i miss everything about u. i miss ur face, i miss ur eyes, i miss ur smile, i miss ur cheeks, i miss ur neck, i miss kissing u and holding u and making love to u

Lando blushes fiercely. But, because he is an unrepentant piece of shit, he swallows what he wants to say (come over here n make love to me right fkn now) and instead types:

- wow i cant believe ur love bombing me

There’s a pause. Then:

- idk what that means

- wowwww. google it. 🙄

There’s another, longer pause. Lando almost decides to get up for a snack. And then Carlos’ name pops up on his phone as a FaceTime call.

Ah, shit.

Lando picks up and Carlos’ face, all furrow-browed and chewed-lipped and jutted-jawed, appears.

“Lando. Lando. I promise I was not love-bombing. I would never. There is no one else. You know this, no?”

So, okay, he went a little too far that time. But Carlos was the sweetest. And Lando thought the lengths he went to to reassure Carlos that no, he’d never accuse Carlos of love-bombing, he knows Carlos isn’t like that, were pretty sweet too.

And eventually a little spicy.

Dont' know about you but my headcanon(calling it headcanon for now) for this pic is that they were both checking their schedule for this week to plan something to do together and Fred came there to have a cheeky toast with his beer. Lando was heading out with his backpack, we know that he's already in Japan, while Carlos was still there celebrating with the team and we know he went out last night so, yeah.

Cellphones in their hands, checking schedules, planning things...I'm so normal about them.

About 4 days now into my new obsession with Detroit: become Human, and im getting fic ideas.

Android Lando, Human Carlos. Lando as a servant to the company Carlos works at, and they treat Lando like shit.

Carlos goes along with it too, never physical like the rest of them, but he wont defend Lando either because he was told "androids are not alive"

Lando is alive, and with the revolution starting up and more deviants showing up, he is beginning to question his own mental stability.

He was to clean the office, to provide food and drinks, to run calculations.

Not fall in love with one of the men who make his life miserable

carlando headcanon that i really want to turn into a fic. cw for drugs/alcohol

Lando is in his early 20s and flunking out of college because of a drinking problem. He’s been going off the rails throughout his childhood but always manages to hide it well enough to at least function in society, well, until he doesn’t.

His mother threatens to cut him off, tough love and all that, so he decides to go into rehab. But he’s scared about what happens after rehab. How is he gonna be able to function when he’s back in the real world and has to start taking care of himself again?

He wants to take this seriously, so he gets into a sober living arrangement. A group home for adults who have finished rehab but are either) not ready to live alone/go out into the real world, or b) are on probation and have to stay there

It sucks, or that’s Lando’s first thought, at least. The people there are weird, and most of them are so much older, and a lot of them are drug addicts. Lando never did drugs, and he kinda looks down his nose at them.

There’s this one guy, though, who definitely doesn’t look like he belongs there. He’s cute, no scratch that, he’s hot and kinda aloof, which makes Lando want to get to know him more.

But Lando has a boyfriend out in the real world who is waiting for him, so he’s def not interested in anything more with this hot, aloof guy.

And, plus, relationships between housemates are forbidden.

Lando manages to break down the walls that hot, aloof guy has set up. turns out his name is Carlos.

Carlos is recovering drug addict, pills, powder, you name it. He's also on probation for stealing and destroying his boss' car in a drug-induced rage after he was reprimanded at work.

He's incredibly remorseful and wants to do everything to make things right. that included breaking up with his drug-addicted girlfriend before he went to rehab.

The thing is that Lando makes it incredibly difficult for Carlos to keep a distance and keep his heart safely tucked away. Everything Lando does makes Carlos' heart either flutter or race.

Carlos is older, in his late twenties, and he's basically been a functioning addict for a long time until he isn't. until his girlfriend gets addicted to heroin, and he does all that he can to stay with her during that time, even if it means being off his face. Their co-dependency is toxic, and he knows it. He never shoots up, though. There's something stopping him from doing that, this voice in the back of his head that sounds like his mom.

One day, he shows up wasted to work. there's a big corporate thing that day, and he embarrasses both himself and the company he works for.

it's the first time he's ever done something like that, and everyone is shocked. his boss really likes him, he's a good worker, a good human being, and so he only reprimands him. he should be let go, realistically and according to company policy, but his boss just can't do that. Not to Carlos.

Carlos goes home that evening and feels so much remorse, that is until his girlfriend gets into his head, telling him that he doesn't deserve what happened, that this was unfair on him, on her as well because he's gonna lose his bonus this year, and who's gonna take care of her then? She can find somebody else if Carlos isn't man enough to do that.

It fucks with his head and he gets angry. not angry at his gf but angry at his boss. His millionaire boss who owns a penthouse suite and drives a Ferrari. Carlos feels like he deserves more. He deserves that Ferrari.

So the next day, in broad daylight, he smashes the window to the Ferrari as it sits in the executive parking space, manages to jumpstart it (a bad idea since it fries the electronic systems) and barely manages to drive it out into the streets before he's being rammed into by another car.

He's fired.

Carlos gets off with probation since it's his first offence, but he has to complete a 9-month rehab stay and then live in the sober house for a year.

So it's safe to say that Carlos has been burned and doesn't need any more empty smiles and dead eyes to fall in love with. Except Lando is the opposite of that. He's excitable like a puppy, earnest and loving and cares so much about others, too much even. So yeah, Carlos falls in love with Lando, probably even before Lando falls in love with Carlos. But there are still a couple of things.

Dating in the sober house is not allowed. Not under any circumstances. The worst thing an addict can do is start a relationship while in recovery. And Carlos needs to take his recovery seriously.

There's also the slight problem of Lando's boyfriend, Daniel.

Daniel, the party boy, who keeps trying to tempt Lando with alcohol. He visits him with vodka in a water bottle or jellos that have been soaked in liquor. "Lando treats" he calls them, but Lando doesn't ever take any. But he's not strong enough to push him away, to tell him to stop. and it's not Carlos' place to do it.

And then there's Carlos' ex, who finally decides to get her life back together only to show up at the same sober house two months into Lando's stay there, and Lando feels nothing but jealousy coursing through his veins as he sees the bond between her and Carlos.

How could Carlos ever want him? He doesn't act like that around Lando. He doesn't have a special smile just for him. It's a game that Lando isn't quite sure he's ready to play. He's not sure he can withstand the pain.

Carlos' ex-girlfriend can't function sober, and she ends up leaving. If you leave, you can't come back, and Carlos frantically tries to search for her so that she can get a second chance. Lando comes with him, and they find her where she and Carlos used to live together, and she's too far gone, strung out again. Carlos realises he has to let her go for the last time. He can't keep saving her, but it really fucks with his head, so he pushes Lando away.

He pushes Lando back into Daniel's arms, and that's kind of dangerous cause, stupidly, Lando has attached his sobriety to Carlos, and if Carlos doesn't even want him sober, then what's the point?

Lando almost breaks his sobriety as he goes to a party with Daniel, but he calls Carlos instead, who comes and helps him from the situation. Lando cuts all ties with Daniel in the process.

But that's when they realise that they can't happen. It's too much of a risk loving someone who is in the throes of addiction. Lando asks to be transferred to a different sober house. He needs to take his sobriety seriously, and he can't be a burden on Carlos anymore.

He can't be the reason that Carlos fails. He would never forgive himself.

Lando was only supposed to be there for six months, and he's already done four, and when he moved in, Carlos was on month six.

So they're getting out into the real world at the same time. Lando six months sober, and Carlos 12 months sober.

It's a risk

But it's a risk they're willing to take.

They meet on the day Lando moves out from the sober house and exchange sobriety chips. Six months for Lando and 1 year for Carlos.

They promise to be each other's keepers and to love and honour their relationship. It's difficult, especially when Lando goes back to university with temptations all around, but every time he feels himself about to misstep, he calls Carlos. His one true north that guides him back on the straights. And then, after a long and hard day, he comes home to Carlos, who is working from home, and falls into his arms, and that's all the high either of them ever needs.

this idea came to me randomly at 3am so it might actually suck but i am blinded by the idea of angel carlos fucking demon lando so…

essentially, carlos and lando get sent to watch over the same human on earth (probably charles), kind of like angels and devils on your shoulder but they appear as regular people, and sort of try to guide charles’ life - either towards chaos or calmness

demons and angels just… don’t mix. they don’t get along, think different things, etc

but carlos and lando are instantly taken with each other, getting along so well and joking and flirting after they get past that beginning awkwardness where they have expectations and predetermined thoughts about each other that aren’t accurate

lando makes carlos let loose and be himself in the best way and carlos makes lando a blushing mess and let’s him just relax and be loved and soft and sweet when he wants to be while still teasing and joking with each other

they are so attached, make each other so in love that charles gets sick of them

but their fellow angels and demons obviously don’t know, because they wouldn’t approve in any way…

To commemorate his maiden F1 World Championship, tattoo virgin Carlos books tattoo artist Lando to do Carlos' first ever piece. Carlos is absolutely bricking it. Lando is just trying to maintain his professionalism in the face of half-naked Carlos Sainz frickin' Jr. As it turns out, Carlos' first tattoo experience is more enjoyable than either of them expected.

It was hard to follow what Carlos was saying when he was nibbling like that on Lando’s neck. Several seconds must have passed before Lando, slightly champagne tipsy and love drunk besides, decided to say:

“Mm?”

He could feel Carlos’ smile against his skin and decided he was tired of not seeing his husband’s face. So he wriggled out from underneath Carlos and rolled onto his belly. Granted, Carlos’ smile turned into a slight frown—cute—but he was quick to smile once Lando shook his butt at him. Carlos took the invitation, running a broad hand over Lando’s still-clothed ass.

“You need to stop this.”

“Stop it? But I thought you liked my butt.”

“Not that. Never that,” Carlos said firmly, a sharp smack serving as punctuation. Lando yelped, and it was the most smug yelp in the world.

“Then what? Spell it out, I’ve had a lot of champagne.”

Carlos grinned. He hooked two fingers beneath Lando’s sweatpants, slowly, achingly slowly, pulling the waistband down over the curve of Lando’s ass. Lando gasped, fingers curling in the sheets. He felt extremely sober all of a sudden.

“You need to stop winning.”

Okay, yep, he was sober.

Lando whipped his head around to glare at Carlos. “What, you jealous?” Lando demanded.

“Yes, extremely,” Carlos said. He could see it, too, the glint in Carlos’ eyes that showed the truth of it.

Good. Lando wanted Carlos to be jealous. The day he wasn’t, they would have a real problem (and a talk about retirement, Lando assumed—but that was a terrifying thought, made easier only by its distance, so Lando decided not to think about it). “I want to win. But also, if you have to win…”

And here, Carlos leaned down, pressing a kiss to either one of Lando’s ass cheeks. Lando sighed happily, reaching back to grab hold of Carlos’ hair. Carlos grinned, holding Lando open as he pressed a kiss to his asshole. Lando hissed a yes, tugging harder at Carlos’ hair.

“But if you have to win, do it when I can celebrate with you in front of everyone.”

It wasn’t a request or a happy fantasy. It was a demand. There was an edge to it that Lando felt in his very core, felt in his cock. Any petulance melted. Lando suddenly felt one thing: a desire to please Carlos.

“Yes,” he whispered, “yes, whatever you want. With you. I want to win with you.”

Carlos’ hands again, on his ass, gripping hard and insistent. “I know you do,” he said firmly, and that was the last thing Lando heard before he was lost to Carlos’ whims.
