Caritina Morana
Masterlist
Summary: Caritina has met the most kindest ghost, who has a story to tell the tale.
Warnings: None
Word Count: 791
AN: Another post done! I am very happy, that's all.
Ghost Stories
Ever since Caritina arrived in this world with a second chance as a Necromancer, she came to notice how many ghosts, from the most malevolent to the most timid, were drawn to her, following her every move. At first, it seemed pleasant to assist them in moving onto the afterlife, but the most violent tend to take it too far. That unfortunate incident resulted in her becoming distant from them.
It came as a promise to never assist a ghost and their purpose unless they came prepared to move on from their world of limbo. She never broke that rule unless it was an innocent child spirit, just like she did with Elspeth. Somehow they always return here for a specific purpose, including the true spirit of Halloween.
Where the weather drops into a chilling sight of gold and orange taking over the castle grounds, it all leads to a certain holiday where all the ghosts roam freely, whether to spook anyone in their sights or camouflage themselves amongst the crowd of mortals in the outskirts of Kelkirk. Some things never change here when it comes to a holiday like Halloween and the season of Autumn.
Recently accompanied with only a ghost for tonight, Caritina found herself simply bored. Since she had nothing to do for the moment, it would be best for her to stargaze outside while the foxes played with one another. Within this nightly hour of midnight, she came up with a quick idea to cure this boredom, which led her to focus on something else.
“Delphia, I would love to hear a simple ghost tale from you!”
Caritina came to a discovery that this lost spirit was roaming aimlessly until she stood by her side since the beginning of this month and befriended them in the process to learn their intriguing name. Most spirits felt unclear how and why they died, but this one barely remembered the ghost of her memories, including the night of her demise.
Sweet silence stretched into a minute until the female spirit let out a thoughtful hum before responding, “Well, I had heard from another fellow ghost, but I wouldn't mind sharing with you.”
Clearing her throat, Delphia prepared to speak in a different tone as if she were some sort of narrator. Specific ghosts do remember many conversations spoken or heard from people in their past or the present. She simply memorized it word for word, offering it to share with a Necromancer on this fine night.
“There was a time where many inventions were created and unveiled to the public to see, rewarding themselves with a legacy in the history books. This mortal wanted to follow his dreams to be the next Albert Einstein. It took him years to invent one, but it malfunctioned in the finishing process as he prepared to call his friends, who doubted him and his creations. There was a simple accident where he fell into the machine. It took him a few minutes to survive before accepting his imminent death.
“They were a little too late, only finding his remains inside the machine. Rather than revealing it to the public for the sake of his living legacy, they dismantle it into absolutely nothing. Till this day, he roams around with a purpose in order to find someone who finished what he created.”
After carefully listening to the entire story, Caritina felt the spark of intrigue in how this tale began and ended in the most amazing way. It doesn't come quite as a surprise how mortals would end up like that in the most brutal way possible. They always tend to do the most predictable things, which clearly doesn't work in their end. Moving along from the story, it led her to break out of her own reverie and return to focus on Delphia.
“Did my story interest you, Lady Caritina?”
Exchanging eye contact with Delphia, she readied herself to answer until a noticeable sight caught her by surprise. A glint of hope unveiled in her eyes, but concealed it back to sadness. It stunned Caritina in utter silence because she had never witnessed that sudden minor change from this particular one. She could depict deep sadness in her eyes, which later changed within the minutes, slipping away before anyone knew it.
“Pretty much! Thank you for keeping me company.”
Noting the ghost of a smile gracing Delphia’s lips, the Necromancer knew this spirit wouldn't be so lost at all. She finds it enjoyable with the company of this certain individual rather than the others. There was a simple change that furthered down the line, which led to this one closer to the stage of moving on. Perhaps they are not that bad after all.

Caritina Morana
Summary: This is the beginning of the apocalypse, where Caritina had unintentionally caused it all.
Warnings: Dark Theme
Word Count: 818
AN: This is the beginning of a apocalypse AU series for one of my OCs.
Prologue
Power can change a person once they wield it. It demands many sacrifices and pain for them to endure. Their lives changed in the blink of an eye overnight for the worse when they reigned for the suffering of others. Somehow, they influenced others to spread their nefarious ways. That was what Caritina felt when she stumbled into the world of death, allowing her to transform into a monster.
A deep loneliness has been on Caritina's side ever since she could feel darkness creeping on her. She clearly didn't want to cause harm to anyone in her life, no matter if they wanted to help her or not. In the end, she felt alone for the second time, but with a darker purpose. This was far worse than surviving in the dreadful realm of Limbo. Shaking her head to dispel the past from her memories, she glanced down at another catastrophe that caused all these problems in her life.
The markings on her skin were nothing but a painful reminder, mere mistakes, of the past. It has been a worrying problem since it changed at an alarming rate. She shuddered at the horrid memories of mistakes doing things for good rather than bad. No matter what she does, it doesn't satisfy enough for the sake of others. Even with the many punishments that came to mind, she does want to deal with them ever again.
One for disobeying a direct order
Two for ruining the balance of life and death
Three for challenging the right and wrongs
Four for the ultimate betrayal
As a Necromancer, she didn't foresee it coming, but rather the future of the lives of the deceased. Mingled emotions of shame and regret were swelling inside her chest. Tears escaped her eyes and trailed her face as she thought of the times when she did great things in her life, but they did not achieve enough to make her feel again.
As a result, it all leads to a dire punishment she can't endure.
The markings spread so quickly enough before Caritina noticed them a little too late. Panic settled on her when she channeled her sorcery to fight against it. It was a never-ending battle between herself and this power that threatened to take control of her humanity. It burns her, and physically hurts her, even if she puts a stop to it all. She desperately swept her gaze at anyone nearby, hoping for a miracle that would never possibly come. However, she still tried to.
“What is happening to me?!” She cried out, distressed for her loved ones who had a remedy for her problems. Silence returned her desperate pleas for help, but she remained hopeless in the end, allowing the pain to creep in.
When the situation got even far worse, chilling laughter was heard somewhere in the background as she frantically whipped her gaze for the source. A shadow-like figure stood there with an aura surrounding them, proud to witness her creation by making havoc in the most disastrous way possible. It was all Hel’s doing, and the Necromancer takes the blame for it all.
Battling everything to control her necromantic magic, it spread like a wildfire—everything from her reach—buildings and beings that slowly decayed into nothing. Her eyes widened in shock over the mass destruction and chaos she had caused. Since there was nothing left to fix, she stumbled over the ground, admitting defeat. A single tear escaped and slithered down her face—the last of her humanity.
A divine transformation ensues, overtaking her appearance when red bleeds into black. Her eyes color, which once ignited with a brilliant blue, now darkens with an onyx black. The markings on her arms spread into blackness on her fingertips, corrupting her magic even further. She now exuded a beauty and horror reminiscent of the deity of death herself.
Awakened by the death magic coursing through her veins, the necromancer chanted an incantation through her lips, allowing the dark magic to flow and ebb through. It spreads even further, reaching toward any human who disappeared into nothingness within seconds. As the lustrous blood moon rose into the sky, she had risen every living being into nothing more than their hollow selves. They lured themselves to stand by her side, bringing her amusement to kneel down before their queen of the dead.
She had started the apocalypse, reigning in glory with a bone crown placed on her head and an undead army by her side. Their inevitable fate is in her hands to control and take complete advantage of for her own amusement. She swept her gaze onto the place that was once called her home and has become her kingdom of damnation. The corners of her lips creep into a smile as the necromancer restores a lifeless world and claims it as her own, similar to Helheim itself.
Nothing shall ruin her own happiness.

Beautiful Moments Like This

Caritina Morana
Summary: Caritina had an exhausted day with two important errands and something has changed her mood for the better.
Warnings: None
Word Count: 200
Author's Note: Hello everyone! It has been awhile writing here. This is just a drabble I had written and finished on the 23rd of this month. Hope you enjoy reading this!

A long, grueling day has been as exhausting as Caritina thought it would be. Taking the greatest care of farm animals and confronting troubled souls doesn't normally drain the Necromancer, but it did today, of all days. However, she loved those jobs more than anyone could.
Immense relief overtook her features when she caught sight of her house many steps ahead. It feels more than pleasant to be home again. Even the thought of her own bed sounded more comforting than ever. It quickened her pace, closing the gap between her and the doorstep. As soon as she reached the doorknob to open it, a surprise happened in the blink of an eye.
“Woah!”
Everything was almost a blur when two energetic creatures lunged at the Necromancer. It took her a second to recognize them at the sight of their wagging tails and colored fur. A low chuckle slipped through her lips when she enjoyed the playful moment between them. Ever since they managed to be on her doorstep as fox pups, she has always considered them her own children.
Moments like this always seem to brighten her day and mood.

"The taste of death enlightens me.."
Caritina Morana lived her life as a Light Sorceress. She gets pretty along well with everyone in the lands of Norway, except for one. A huge argument lead to a dangerous outcome between Caritina and her best friend's untrustworthy lover. It led him to open a portal to Limbo and pushed her in it so she could never be seen again. Monstrous and demonic creatures roam the lands to devour anything with a soul. The chance of survival turned out to be slim to none.
Days turn into weeks. Weeks turn into months. Everything else? Who knows. She prayed for the gods to hear her desperate calls for help and escape, but on one came for some assistance. After almost giving up and accept her fate there, only one mysterious person emerged to save her...
...With a price that could affect her life.
Resurfacing back in Earth, Caritina was given a second chance of life with a new Supernatural identity as a Necromancer. Everything drastically changed revolving around her new life. It took some time for her to control and understand the dark magic that flows through her hands.
In the present, she lives in a peaceful life upon the land of Orrinshire Castle located in Drammen, Norway with friends and loved one. Helping out good spirits either move on the afterlife or revive their soul for a second chance in life. Limbo was the least of her worries now, but her mind remained on the so-called savior that may never been seen again.
Many questions burned in the back of her head. Will she ever meet the mysterious person again? Will ever trust the person who rescue her from that hell? What are their true intentions for her? The story awaits soon for the generous and helpful Necromancer.
