gn! Reader I some gore I angst I just a short lil' drabble I can be read platonic or romantic
Your betrayal happened slowly.
There was neither that one dramatic moment that revealed your true intentions, nor a complicated scheme reaching it's end. It was merely an accumulation of barely noticeable sabotages and data breaches.
Things were never supposed to end this way.
But Iscariot - no, the face of your whole church - had changed into something unrecognizeable, something so vile and malicious that your conscience couldn't possibly identify with anymore.
Each and everyone of them had long since stopped serving the true faith, let alone the word of your Lord and Savior. Instead they were twisting the religion to fit after their own sick and selfish desires, leaving a trail of suffering and carnage with no regard of the consequences.
Nonetheless, those people were your allies, friends, the closest thing to a family you might ever have. Indirectly harming them was eating you alive, and yet there was no other way to keep them from committing further sin against innocents.
It started with you secretly slipping informations to the enemy, like that one time you informed Sir Integra that the Judas Priest would invade their area in Ireland.
Anderson noticed early that there was a traitor amongst their rows, his methods of finding the leak unnecessary cruel and without method...
...not once he suspected the informant could be you, though.
At some point however you unveiled Maxwell's plans of using the mayhem caused by Millenium to purge England instead of liberating it - and much to your shock the only person you dared confiding in was already well aware.
After confronting Anderson about this insane operation without him showing any hint of hesistance or remorse, you fled and never looked back, seeking refugee at the Hellsing manor.
Even Alucard's new weapon, forged with the sole purpose to destroy the regenerating priest, had been directly built after the top secret files you had stolen for them.
Too late for any regrets now, you were already in far too deep. You always knew that shall you ever meet again, you'd inevitably find yourself at the other end of his bayonet - and you had made peace with that fact.
Everything has led you to this moment of absolution.
You had been separated from what was left of the Hellsing organization, worn out by aimlessly slaughtering yourself through both nazis and crusaders in this neverending war.
Eventually you just had to run into your former brethren - but for the Paladin himself to cross paths with you was an irony of fate only God could understand.
They say every human has a cardinal sin their soul is especially prone to, and for Anderson that sin has always been wrath.
A flash of recognition made his face drop shortly before his whole stance tensed again, expression contorting through several emotions at once.
He was oozing bloodlust from every pore, like water from the little stream near the orphanage you wished to see again so dearly. You had witnessed this state of his so often yet it had always made you feel oddly safe - but then again, it was never directed to you before.
The priest was calm, too calm for the situation at hand, but you knew him better than that: Beneathe the surface he's close to bursting from all the hatred and rage that's been rotting him from the inside like the poison it is.
He mutely, pitilessly raises his weapons as you fall to your knees in sheer exasperation, the cold stones a huge contrast to the otherwise burning city. You want to explain yourself, cling to his coat and beg his forgiveness - but at the same time you knew you had no right to.
So you decided to gift him one last, heartbroken smile before lowering your head in defeat, voice only a breathless whisper as you apologized for having caused him such trouble and pain.
You wince as you sense the momentum of his blade, but much to your surprise the blow failed to deliver. No, that wasn't right either. It hit the target it was meant to - right into the visage of a SS soldier that had lunged at you from behind, splitting his skull in two.
Anderson's judging stare never left yours as he pulled the weapon from the bloodied carcass, wiping the steel clean on his cassock. For a moment he just stands there, gears in his head visibly turning before he wrings out a shuddered exhale, shaking his head.
He walks past your frozen, trembling self until he turns around one last time, eyes softening ever so slightly. You see his mouth open and close several times in an attempt to vocalize what he had bottled up ever since you left - but even after all that happened, the fact that he missed you so excruciatingly much outweighted anything else.
Ultimately, he feels sorry for having driven you to do this, and even though he cannot forgive you he understands. Yet all he could bring himself to say is:
"Get out of my sight, apostate. Go save yourself."

Okay okay hear me out: Anderson and Iscariot had a giant snowball fight with Alucard (mainly) + Hellsing organization.
Anderson wore his cardinal simar because "shit is about to get real!".

"Doctor Church, I think I need a band-aid." Cardinal Iscariot walks in, holding the doctor's freshly cleaned equipment in one hand ... and his internal organs with the other.
@cardinal-iscariot
She cataloging some medicine in one of the cabinets, a clipboard in one hand, and pen in another. The doctor snorted a laugh, rolling her eyes. “Ha ha, very funny. You know know I don’t have to-.” The words fall from her lips, melting into a gasp of horror. His organs were just laying in his hand like some sort of weird meat dish, and her equipment was sparkling clean in the other.
“How are you still up and moving?! Get on a cot, now!” There’s mild panic in her voice, and she ushers the Cardinal over to a cot as she grabs the equipment from his hand, tossing it onto a nearby tray without any thought.
#cardinal-iscariot#//wow wow wow there's them organs#//also i'm getting to the starter i promised in a little bit here!#Anonymous

Unsure what to expect, Ifrit is somewhat surprised to find the soap and tea in the parcel. He tilts his head curiously then brings the soap close to sniff at it. It's a soft and gentle scent, nothing too overpowering, oddly soothing. "Thank you, it's very nice," Ifrit murmurs, looking over the tea and already deciding to have Nora take a look at it just in case. Don't want to wake up to another cardinal fucking with your brain again, better safe than sorry...
"You made the soap yourself, you said?"

Ifrit is on his way back to the ghoul’s quarters, having just taken a stack of paperwork to Papa III’s study from Sister Imperator, when he’s stopped in the hallway by the cardinal. He tenses, his distrust of the human clergy having grown in the past few weeks.
“For… Me?” Ifrit looks at the parcel held out to him, carefully taking it from the cleric’s hands. He doesn’t want to seem unappreciative, but the fire ghoul can’t help but wonder what trick this might be. “Thank you… But, um, why?”

Emerald: So... the letter you sent never specified the purpose of this meeting.
Cardin: Consider this a business transaction. I have two pieces of information that I wish to trade with you.
Emerald: And what would those be?
Cardin: The true identity of Millennium.
Emerald: Who?
Cardin: The organization who assailed your compound.
Emerald: Oh yeah; there was some debate over that.
Cardin: And the whereabouts of said Millennium.
Emerald: And what could you possibly want in exchange?
Cardin: Oh, nothing major. Just two simple apologies from you and your subordinate known as "TheSilverFuckr"! Also known as Mercury.
Emerald: ...So you want an apology from me.
Cardin: I figured, but didn't want to assume.
Emerald: And, by chance, what would I have to apologize to the Iscariot Organization for?
Cardin: Well, originally I'd ask you to apologize for being a scum-sucking, blaspheming, ignorant, Protestant pig sow! But in this case, the sins of your pet vampire are of greater concern.
Emerald: What did he do this time?
Cardin: Over the last couple of years, he has sent no less than 200 death threats to the Pope. By carrier pigeon, no less! They just... fly right into the Vatican! The latest one read as such... *clears throat* "Dear Chief Replacement..."
Mercury: I wanted to send you this friendly little letter to inform you of your imminent demise. If you're curious about the frequency of which I've sent these letters, it is merely to instill as much fear as I can. As if basting a turkey. Which I will then proceed to have sex with That's right. I'm going to FUCK the fear turkey. Follow me on Twitter @TheSilverFuckr.
Cardin: Sincerely, Mercury
Emerald: I can't help but ponder the frightful headway we'd make if he put that sort of energy into his job.
Cardin: Soo... that apology~?
Emerald: *sigh*... I'm sor--

9 layers of hell
1st Circle - Limbo
Dante’s First Circle of Hell is resided by virtuous non-Christians and unbaptized pagans who are punished with eternity in an inferior form of Heaven. They live in a castle with seven gates which symbolize the seven virtues. Here, Dante sees many prominent people from classical antiquity such as Homer, Socrates, Aristotle, Cicero, Hippocrates, and Julius Caesar.
Pool of Blood, 血池地獄 Those who do not respect others will find themselves soaked in blood.
2nd Circle - Lust
In the Second Circle of Hell, Dante and his companion Virgil find people who were overcome by lust. They are punished by being blown violently back and forth by strong winds, preventing them from finding peace and rest. Strong winds symbolize the restlessness of a person who is led by the desire for fleshly pleasures. Again, Dante sees many notable people from history and mythology including Cleopatra, Tristan, Helen of Troy and others who were adulterous during their lifetime.
Chamber of Scissors, 剪刀地獄 if you steal someone’s husband/wife and break their marriage your fingers are eternally cut off.
3rd Circle - Gluttony
When reaching the Third Circle of Hell, Dante and Virgil find souls of gluttons who are overlooked by a worm-monster Cerberus. Sinners in this circle of Hell are punished by being forced to lie in a vile slush that is produced by never-ending icy rain. The vile slush symbolizes personal degradation of one who overindulges in food, drink, and other worldly pleasures, while the inability to see others lying nearby represents the gluttons’ selfishness and coldness. Here, Dante speaks to a character called Ciacco who also tells him that the Guelphs (a fraction supporting the Pope) will defeat and expel the Ghibellines (a fraction supporting the Emperor to which Dante adhered) from Florence which happened in 1302 before the poem was written (after 1308).
Chamber of Mortars and Pestles, 舂臼地獄 Those who voluntarily waste food will be forced to be feeded by demons with hell-fire.
4th Circle - Greed
In the Fourth Circle of Hell, Dante and Virgil see the souls of people who are punished for greed. They are divided into two groups – those who hoarded possessions and those who lavishly spent it – jousting. They use great weights as a weapon, pushing it with their chests which symbolizes their selfish drive for fortune during their lifetime. The two groups that are guarded by a character called Pluto (probably the ancient Greek ruler of the underworld) are so occupied with their actions that the two poets don’t try to speak to them. Here, Dante says to see many clergymen including cardinals and popes.
Chamber of Dismemberment, 磔刑地獄 Tomb raiders will find their body being torn into pieces.
Mountain of Flames, 火山地獄 Thieves, robbers and corrupt will be thrown into the flames in a hellish volcano.
Yard of Stone Mill, 石磨地獄 Those who subdue the weak, abuse their power and oppress the people will be crushed and pulverized in a stone mill.
Chamber of Saw, 刀鋸地獄 Those who exploit the loopholes in the law and engage in unfair practices in business will be sawn into half by demons.
5th Circle - Anger
The Fifth Circle of Hell is where the wrathful and sullen are punished for their sins. Transported on a boat by Phlegyas, Dante and Virgil see the furious fighting each other on the surface of the river Styx and the sullen gurgling beneath the surface of the water. Again, the punishment reflects the type of the sin committed during their lifetime. While passing through, the poets are approached by Filippo Argenti, a prominent Florentine politician who confiscated Dante’s property after his expulsion from Florence.
6th Circle - Heresy
When reaching the Sixth Circle of Hell, Dante and Virgil see heretics who are condemned to eternity in flaming tombs. Here, Dante talks with a couple of Florentines – Farinata degli Uberti and Cavalcante de’ Cavalcanti – but he also sees other notable historical figures including the ancient Greek philosopher Epicurus, Holy Roman Emperor Frederick II, and Pope Anastasius II. The latter, however, is according to some modern scholars condemned by Dante as a heretic by mistake. Instead, as some scholars argue, the poet probably meant the Byzantine Emperor Anastasius I.
Chamber of Tongue Ripping, 拔舌地獄 for those that gossip find their tongues ripped out.
Chamber of Iron Cycads, 鐵樹地獄 for those that cause discord between family members of others will be speared through the center by long iron stalks or cycads.
7th Circle - Violence
The Seventh Circle of Hell is divided into three rings. The Outer Ring houses murderers and others who were violent to other people and property. Here, Dante sees Alexander the Great (disputed), Dionysius I of Syracuse, Guy de Montfort and many other notable historical and mythological figures such as the Centaurus, sank into a river of boiling blood and fire. In the Middle Ring, the poet sees suicides who have been turned into trees and bushes which are fed upon by harpies. But he also sees here profligates, chased and torn to pieces by dogs. In the Inner Ring are blasphemers and sodomites, residing in a desert of burning sand and burning rain falling from the sky.
Town of Suicide, 枉死地獄 People who commit suicide will find themselves wandering in the city . The wind of sorrow and the rain of pain lash day and night this desolate place. They are those who have voluntarily altered the karmic course of the Incarnation.
Forest of Copper Column, 銅柱地獄 Arsonists for retaliation will be bound to columns of glowing copper.
Mountain of Knifes, 刀山地獄
Those who kill sentient beings with knife without a reason or for pleasure will find themselves climbing a hill of knifes. Sinners are made to shed blood by climbing a mountain with sharp blades sticking out.
Cauldron of Boiling Oil, 油鍋地獄 Rapists, thieves, abusers, false accusers will be boiled in fried oil.
Chamber of Ox, 牛坑地獄 Those who abuse animals will find themselves being bullied by animals.
Chamber of Rock, 石壓地獄 Those who abandon or kill babies will hold a heavy rock (and eventually crashed) and will be surrounded by putrid water.
8th Circle - Fraud
The Eight Circle of Hell is resided by the fraudulent. Dante and Virgil reach it on the back of Geryon, a flying monster with different natures, just like the fraudulent. This circle of Hell is divided into 10 Bolgias or stony ditches with bridges between them. In Bolgia 1, Dante sees panderers and seducer. In Bolgia 2 he finds flatterers. After crossing the bridge to Bolgia 3, he and Virgil see those who are guilty of simony. After crossing another bridge between the ditches to Bolgia 4, they find sorcerers and false prophets. In Bolgia 5 are housed corrupt politicians, in Bolgia 6 are hypocrites and in the remaining 4 ditches, Dante finds hypocrites (Bolgia 7), thieves (Bolgia 7), evil counselors and advisers (Bolgia 8), divisive individuals (Bolgia 9) and various falsifiers such as alchemists, perjurers, and counterfeits (Bolgia 10).
Chamber of Steamer, 蒸籠地獄 Hypocrites and troublemakers will find their punishment in a steamer.
Hill of Ice, 冰山地獄
Schemers, deceivers of elders (including parents) and adulterers will be left naked in freezing cold.
9th Circle - Treachery
The last Ninth Circle of Hell is divided into 4 Rounds according to the seriousness of the sin. Though all residents are frozen in an icy lake. Those who committed more severe sin are deeper within the ice. Each of the 4 Rounds is named after an individual who personifies the sin. Thus Round 1 is named Caina after Cain who killed his brother Abel, Round 2 is named Antenora after Anthenor of Troy who was Priam’s counselor during the Trojan War, Round 3 is named Ptolomaea after Ptolemy (son of Abubus), while Round 4 is named Judecca after Judas Iscariot, the apostle who betrayed Jesus with a kiss.
DEMON CREATION:
Chamber of Mirrors of Retribution, 孽镜地狱 To those who managed to escape the punishment for their crimes during earthly life will be shown their true shape.

@cardinal-iscariot reblogged for a starter!
Why was it that Ghoul’s were so similar, yet so... different to humans? She thought she’d gotten this down, and made some progress in her knowledge of Ghoulish anatomy. But it seemed as if she hadn’t... and that was what had led her to his office. Knocking hesitantly, the doctor cleared her throat.
“Cardinal? Might I come in? I have a question about something and I’d rather consult you, than you books.”

The spectral child wanders the halls, sniffling and weeping. "Papa, where are you?" She cries. (cardinal-iscariot)
Spark hears the little girl and peeks from his chambers, tilting his head. He sees the girl and recognizes her slightly "Hello, you're that ghost girl I met in dad's room, right? Nice to see you again miss!" He says as he comes out of his room to stand in front of her "I know where dad may be, want to follow me?"

"Scuzzi, I have a gift for you. Well, for your baby. Both? Both. May I come in?" ~ cardinal-iscariot
@cardinal-iscariot
Mint’s ears perked as she studied the man. She recognized him by his uniform- a higher clergy member. Her heckles raised, thanks to her current condition but she kept calm. Surely he wouldn’t be there to cause her harm?
“Oh, yes please- come on in! Can I get you something to drink?”
The den mother stepped aside, Void quietly perched on her hip. The kit chirped curiously at the new comer.
