Captain Morgan's Sliced Apple version.
Arrr...
Not good.
Only 25%. Not 40% like the normal (dark and white are the only good ones!) Captain Morgan rum.
Too sweet. Too vanilla.
Perfect taste for this horrible day.

Sledding Away
a reader x tony stark and morgan stark one shot by @beaubatns
gif credit: @marvelgifs
trigger warning: Get ready for a whole bunch of fluff!
word count: 1.3k
summary: It’s snowing at the cabin and Tony and Morgan loved spending time in the snow, but when dad has to help mom prepare for dinner, Morgan has other mischievous ideas.
author’s note: This my first time rewatching Endgame after I first watched it in theatres and I choose to focus on Tony’s happy domestic life instead of the sad ending. I don’t know if this has been done before, but here’s my take on this little headcanon!
“Alright, Little Miss, Daddy’s gotta go help Mommy make dinner,” Tony groaned, his own weight straining him as he pushed himself off the ground. “Are you gonna be okay here for a while?”
“Yeah,” Morgan grinned, comfortably sitting on the little bean bag chair Tony had fit inside the igloo they built while watching an episode of Doc McStuffins that was projected on the wall.
“Okay. Don’t go anywhere, okay?” Tony reminded her before hunching out of the cramped igloo.
From the kitchen, you could see Tony crawl out of the igloo he had made with Morgan. Well, Tony did all of the work with the help of Dum-E and U; Morgan mostly just sat on her little chair for moral support with some snickerdoodles and the hot cocoa that Tony had poured into a small thermos cup lid. Then again, Dum-E mostly knocks holes into the walls while U records the whole thing, so really it’s just Tony.
You smiled as he spotted you staring out into the playground from the kitchen. Tony glanced back one more time into the igloo to make sure Morgan is safe before heading into the house.
“She’s having fun,” he chuckled, immediately washing his hands and then checking the oven where a pie crust was blind baking.
“Is she gonna be okay there alone?” You asked, placing sliced Granny Smith apples into a bowl to start the pie filling.
“Yeah, Dum-E’s feeding her snickerdoodles as we speak,” Tony eased your worries by placing his phone on the countertop which displayed your daughter lounging on her tiny bean bag chair with blankets and dolls watching her favourite show and drinking some cocoa while Dum-E held a small plate of snickerdoodles right next to her.
You smiled, your worries assuaged because of course Tony knew to put his surveillance cameras as baby monitors inside the igloo before leaving his daughter alone there to help you out in the kitchen.
“Where do you want me?” He asked.
“Get started on the pasta for me,” you said. Tony was not exactly the best cook, but the chances of burning pasta is minimal and all he has to do was get them out of the box and wait for 8 minutes, so you knew it was a task you could trust him with.
“Alright,” Tony obeyed and began to work. Once a while, he glanced at the monitor displaying Morgan and then out the window at the igloo.
You continued with the apple pie filling, combining all the ingredients in a pot. “Oh, I walked by the tower the other day,” you told him. Although you were living the quiet life now, you still come to work every now and again just to make sure things are in order and you happened to walk past the Stark Tower. “People were coming out dressed as Elvis Presley, I think they’re having a contest or something,” you laughed.
“What?” Tony looked at you, incredulous.
“Maybe there’s a lookalike contest or something,” you giggled.
“Jesus Christ,” Tony shook his head. “That tower used to be where a puny deity from outer space gets his face bashed in, but sure, Elvis Presley is a legend,” he remarked sarcastically.
You and Tony very invested in the Elvis Presley lookalike contest and laughters that the two of you missed the scurry of little snow-boots-clad feet leaving the igloo and making its way into the garage. You turned around as the oven dinged, signalling that your pie crust was done and took them out, placing them on the counter when you noticed the flash of a familiar red and blue against the white snow.
You looked up to see Captain America’s vibranium shield floating on tiny little legs. The scene did not register to you until Morgan set the shield down on the snowy ground, star spangled-side down.
“Oh my God, Tony. Babe!” your right arm flailed around to catch Tony’s attention from across the room and pointed out the window. Abandoning the strained pasta on the countertop, Tony looked out the window with you to see Morgan sitting on the concave of the shield and pushed herself down the little hill of your cabin.
You yelled her name and Tony cursed, immediately running to the door and ignoring the fact that neither of you were wearing anything thick enough to keep you warm against the freezing weather. It was too late, however, because the little Stark spawn was already zooming past you and Tony with her gleeful giggles echoing across the property. U was right across from the two of you, recording everything as the two of you ran after Morgan. It would have been comical if it was not for the fact that you are getting a heart attack over your daughter’s antics.
“Tony, do something!” You pleaded in panic, but he was already one step ahead of you. Red and gold flashed right next to you, enveloping Tony’s form and he flew off in high speed to catch Morgan before she could make it to the barriers of the property.
You slowed down and stopped running as soon as Tony caught up to Morgan, floating right in front of her and putting his hands on the rim of the shield to overcome the inertia as smoothly as he could.
“Where do you think you’re going? Didn’t I tell you to wait in the igloo?” Tony reprimanded her with the gentlest warning tone a parent would ever use. It is part of the reason why Morgan was as mischievous as he was, because not only did she inherit the trait from him, but she also knew that her Daddy did not have the heart to be stern with her.
“Hehehe, hi, Daddy,” Morgan giggled as Tony lifted the shield off the ground, carrying her back towards you in it.
Tony landed in front of you as you put two hands on your hips. God, you were turning into your mother; you always hated when she did that because you knew what was coming, and Morgan did too. She put on the best puppy eyes and little pout that she could muster to get into your good graces.
“Morgan H. Stark, what did you think you were doing?” You lifted her off the shield and onto your hips.
“I’m sorry, Mommy,” she hid her face in the crook of your neck. Tony’s suit disappeared to reveal a smirking and proud father as he brushed the snow off the shield. You shot a look at him, not wanting his proud smile to encourage the behaviour.
“Do not do that again, okay? Not when there’s no one to watch you, because you might have been hurt,” you told her, brushing her hair back in order to look her in the eye.
“Does that mean I can do it again now?” Morgan reasoned now that the two of you are there to supervise her.
It took all your strength not to laugh. “No, because dinner is almost ready,” you said and Morgan pouted, leaning her head on your chest to look away from you. No matter how hard it was, you had to let her know that what she did was not okay and letting her do it again would only encourage her more.
You turned around and trudged back into the house, Tony right next to you, gently poking on the girl’s waist to catch her attention. Morgan’s head did not move, but her eyes were trained at him.
“Tomorrow,” Tony mouthed quietly and Morgan’s face lit up with a smile. You looked at the two of them and shot them a warning look, but your lips could not hide the smile you have been holding any longer. Tony pressed his index finger to his lips and Morgan stifled a giggle as the two of you entered the house.

Whether your a scholar, or perhaps a parent looking to get their drink on at a barbecue, Smirnoff serves as a go-to make drinks. Smirnoff includes a crazy amount of different tastes, various kinds of alcohol, and also recently arrived with a fresh gluten-free, normally sweetened vodka. In order to commemorate the launch of Captain Morgan Sliced Apple Spiced Rum, the company has commissioned a group of talented street artists from across the country to spotlight their home cities in a creative campaign.
One of those artists is the Big Apple’s Mason Eve, who created two colorful murals that pay tribute to Queens and The Bronx.
“For me, New York City is inspiring because of all the different communities that make it what it is,” explained Eve. “It’s a vibrant, eclectic, art-filled space that is always shifting while still staying true to its core. And I wanted to capture the electric energy that fuels me as an artist in my designs.”
The Bronx mural is located at Webster Avenue and East 175th Street in Mount Hope, while the Queens mural has found a home at the intersection of Metropolitan Avenue and 70th Road in Forest Hills.
“I love the familiar, tight-knit vibe of the area and the architecture found throughout the neighborhood, and I wanted to capture that in the mural,” said the artist. “Forest Hills’ historical association with tennis is also something that really stood out to me, so I made a point to incorporate elements to highlight that connection as well.”
For Eve, the process of creating the Captain Morgan murals from start to finish was an affirmation of the connection with communities that is at the core of her art.
“I’ve loved meeting the mothers walking by, the owners of the street stands, the painters bringing my work to life, and the people passing through the neighborhood to get to their next stop,” she said.
“We exchange a look, a conversation, an idea,” Eve continued. “These are the moments that inspire me.”

To Peter ‘Baby Shark’ sounded a lot like a Piltchard’s commercial jingle, ‘the Blip’ causing him to miss the latest crazes and memes most of his current classmates were raving over; but knowing Mr Stark, it was probably a song from that really old band he liked, the band’s heavy beats and guitar solos having always blared over the speakers in Mr Stark’s personal labs, whilst they were tinkering with Peter’s web shooters or fine-tuning the latest modifications to the Iron Man suit—Led Zepplin or Van Halen or something. Peter couldn’t really recall, but it made him happy knowing that the hero managed to transfer more than his obsession over greasy, cheese burgers to the little girl currently swaying on her stepping stool. The teen’s cheeks hitched up into a smile, his hands quickly coming up to twist into a dish rag to swipe his tomato-tinted fingers clean, before he offered the littlest Stark a grand salute. “Aye-Aye Captain. Miss Stark knows best.”
After pouring over the cluttered trays within the fridge, Peter finally managed to come across a half a carton of cream nestled between a juice box and a plate of sliced apple wedges, before making his way back to the stove. As soon as the milky substance made its way into the pot Peter was surprised (and equal parts pleased) to see the red broth thicken to resemble what it was supposed to be—tomato soup. “You know…this actually doesn’t look half bad…good job Morganite!” Peter’s brown hues then flickered away from the pot to glance at his assistant once she came up just behind him, her small arms filled with two types of cheese and a big tub of butter.
He hesitated only a moment when her innocent query floated between them; her wide, puppy eyes and hopeful grin managing to tear straight through the horrible mental images of her burning her hands or them burning down the very nice, very expensive Potts-Stark cabin. He might not have known her for all that long, but already Peter surmised that he just might let Morgan do and get away with anything if she kept up ‘the look.’ He wondered if it was a talent she inherited from Mr Stark, the man notorious for getting out of board meetings and press conferences he didn’t want to attend and if it was a power handed down from Mrs Potts herself, the only person who could ever get Mr Stark to destroy his Mark series—Maybe she was a bit of both? Her skills of persuasion sure as heck were powerful enough, causing Peter to relent with a sigh as he turned off the heat. “Well…Okay…but you gotta be extra careful, it’s still really warm and I honestly can’t handle a hurt Morgan or an angry Mrs Potts right now. Your mom is really scary. She would definitely stuff me in the naughty corner for hours—If not worse.”
Whilst the teen rambled, he lifted the girl back up onto her stepping stool after a single twirl, before he made sure to tie an apron he found perched next to the dishrags about her middle. You never know, the girl’s super powers might extend to her mixing arm so it was in everyone’s best interest to avoid any unnecessary stains, even though Peter already knew some of the best dry cleaners in New York. He then handed her the wooden spoon, hovering close by as he proceeded to grate the cheese for their sandwiches. The two of them continued with their snack preparations in relative silence, the only sounds filling the kitchen being the music Friday was still playing, the sizzling of warm cheese and the occasional clank of a spoon against the brim of the pot. It was only once the teen flipped the toasties into two Dora the Explorer plates did the heavy rock notes give way to a chorus of cheery ‘Doo Doo’s’ causing Peter to snort in an attempt to hide his surprised laughter. “Wait—what…this is Baby Shark?” The teen’s hand came up to clasp around his mouth and nose, whilst he leaned over to inspect their soup intently.
He honestly couldn’t picture his snarky mentor singing along to the song at all, but then a lot has changed over the past five years. It was only natural that Iron Man had to change with the times as well, that he had no choice, cue Morgan’s puppy-eyed super power. Peter had half a mind to ask Friday if she had any visuals stored on her server, but then he thought better of it; not knowing if he was quite ready to glimpse anything which had his mentor in it just yet. It was still a nice thought however, the wide grin lingering behind his palm as he hummed. “Alright, assistant. The toasted cheese is ready, the soup looks ready. ‘Whaddya say we forgo all formality and manners and we eat in front of the tv while watching some cartoons. You know like rebels.”
stark-industries-intern:
—“Thats an excellent choice…” Peter nodded in accord, making a mental note to check for any cool colouring books next time he got off from patrol, maybe one of those with the sticker-packs and additional activity books, definitely one with robots— awesome, girl robots. The teen took a hold of both of the cans which was proffered to him, brows lifting as he gave each can a firm shake, almost as if calculating how many bowls a can could fill up, before fixing his young charge with a determined, little grin. “Alright Miss Stark, here’s the plan…” Peter leaned forward, calloused fingers pressing the tins against his chest, while he reached into the lower cabinet for a third (because less was definitely not more when a super-teen metabolisms came into question). “Today is the day that we are gonna’ make tomato soup history, no tomato potage to come out of a can will ever taste as good as it’s going to taste today, but to do that, we are going to need a killer soundtrack. Think you can be in charge of picking the music for us?”
Peter then proceeded to edge toward where he vaguely remembered glimpsing a good, soup-sized pot, switching the stove to a mild heat as he passed. He considered warming up enough of the ruddy broth so that Pepper would have something to eat when she came home, but a quick glance out of the large, cabin windows revealed a still, pretty, orange-tinted sky, signalling that it would be a few hours more before Mrs Stark’s heels would clank over the threshold. By then the soup would be really gross Pete reckoned—it might even be gross right after he heated and dished it up for them—despite his former, positive remark to Morgan. It’s not like he had the best tutor growing up when it came to anything kitchen related. Ben was a fry-up eggs three times a day kind of guy and Aunt May had a knack for burning even spaghetti (Peter’s usually iron stomach clenched as a suspiciously detailed mental image of her date loaf flashed beneath his lids.
Morgan seemed pretty confident in the instruction label however, so Peter resolved to treat it like he would any Chemistry experiment, opening each can carefully before emptying the condensed contents into the crock, the teen scrunching up his features in the young girl’s direction once red splattered and sploshed against the pot base and sides. The soup was soon followed with three cups of water, before Peter mixed the contents together with exaggerated, cooking show flair. Judging the first step to be a raging success, the teen then shifted gears in search of a skillet to toast their sandwiches in, computed, brown hues trailing along the expensive counter-tops, before settling back onto the mop of brown tresses hovering near Cecelia.
“Bread, Morg…we need it, you’re supposed to be my amazing, lab assistant here.”
Morgan had decided that Peter was dramatic but in a good way. A way that was silly and made her laugh. She liked it about him. “ Friday, play the cooking playlist,” Morgan instructed the AI after hearing Peter’s request. The playlist contained songs that everyone in the Potts-Stark household liked so it didn’t have any real cohesiveness to it but it was fun all the same. “ Just wait until Baby Shark comes on, Daddy used to sing it but he’d say baby Stark instead. It’s funny.”
As Peter began to cook she dragged a little stepping stool to the spot next to him so that she could watch what he was doing. “ If you add some milk or cream it tastes better,” Morgan suggested as she looked at the red liquid. Admittedly she wasn’t a huge fan of the soup just by itself but it was good for dipping her sandwich in. She wondered breifly if Peter would make her eat all the soup even if she didn’t want to. Her eyebrows scrunched up at the thought but her attention was quickly called for another task when Peter mentioned the bread. “ Right, I’ll get it,” she called back already stepping off the stool to go grab the loaf of bread.
She grabbed the loaf before scurrying back and setting it on the counter next to Peter. “ I’ll get the butter and cheese too.” She was supposed to be a helping lab assistant after all. She pulled the two items from the fridge before bringing them back to Peter. “ Can I stir the soup?” she asked hopefully before looking up at the brunette to offer him her best smile. “ Please Petey?”
