5, 9, 12 and 13 for OC interview;)
Got'cha! Note: Her answer to 13 has some fictitious people and media 🩷
----------
5. Do you have any role models? Tell us a little bit about them.
My #1 role model is Marie Curie, no question. Not only a woman that said "screw the patriarchy" when it came to women being involved in the scientific field, but she did so by making incredible contributions to the world - discovering radium and polonium, helping pioneer chemotherapy for the treatment of cancer, and even helped to develop the modern day x-ray. So, yeah, she's my inspiration for life.
9. What's your greatest achievement? Why do you consider this your greatest achievement?
If we're talking about general achievements, creating my laser gun. While I still need to make some adjustments, it's leagues better than where I was months ago. But Don helped me with it, so it's not a solo achievement.
If you want a solo achievement, it was probably when I successfully taught myself high school math when I was 12. I felt invincible and on top of the world - but when I tried to teach myself calculus, it...wasn't the best moment, so I'm holding back until I get to junior year of high school.
12. How would you define your style?
Um...soft? Is that a style? Well, whatever, I'll just show you what I mean.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
13. What's your favorite song?
It tends to change each day, but currently, it's "Close Call" by my favorite band, Salem's Witches. Second place is Liliana del Lago's "Autumn and Winter," and third place is "Scarlette" by Salem's Witches.

And there we go! Thank you for the ask 🩷

The 58,000 Member Mess
Tumblr media
New York City calls itself a Sanctuary City. And I was surprised to learn that it's been that way since the 1980s when Democrat Ed Koch declared it as such to support people fleeing political oppression and looking for political asylum. The government tells us this week that there are now over 58,000 criminals who also happen to be illegal aliens in New York City.
I doubt Ed ever thought things would turn into the mess that it now is.
Eric Adams, on the other hand, saw the mess and campaigned on it. Not on fixing it, but importing more of it. We love the mess! Send us more mess! Mess is good!
Now that there are 58,000 criminal illegal alien contributors to the mess, not to mention a quarter of a million illegal aliens who are not committing crimes (as far as anyone knows) but are draining off resources, Eric has suddenly flipped.
We need government help! Please, government, even though we gave you the double-barrelled bird with our sanctuary policies, we now beg for your money so that we can clean up our mess.
"Ms. Jones! Book me a flight to Mar-a-Lago so I can pay homage to the new King and lick his wingtips to get money to clean up some of my mess, make my voter approval rating go up, and get reelected! Ms. Jonesssssss......!"
Ugh. Barf.
In reading about Eric Adams' 180 FlipFlop, I surely missed the part where he said to New Yorkers, "I'm sorry. I'm sorry I aided and abetted this mess. I'm sorry I campaigned on expanding it. I'm sorry I imported more mess to add to the mess we already had. I'm sorry I made you pay for gift cards and hotel rooms and meals to sustain this mess. I'm sorry I encouraged 58,000 messes to live here who want to intimidate you, hurt you, and grab your stuff. I'm sorry.  I Was Wrong."
Nope. Didn't see or read that anywhere.
OPINION: Urban Decline Continues in New York: Teens Attacked Over Language Barrier
WATCH: Chicago Residents Let Loose on Mayor Brandon Johnson Over Illegal Aliens
Why is it so hard for progressives to admit they're wrong or at least apologize for it? It won't kill them. The American voter is not blind and is usually pretty forgiving if you say, "I screwed up" (as long as you follow up with: and now I'm going to fix things.) But they never learn. They always run from the problem by blaming someone else. Usually Trump.
I say they should lean into it and say, "I was wrong, and now it's my responsibility to fix it." That's political gold right there. And if they actually do fix the mess, they'll have voters for life. But they never do. Look at Brandon Johnson in Chicago. He's a mess, too. And among the most angry with his policies are the black voters that put him in office. They're screaming at the top of their lungs about illegals getting better treatment than economically disadvantaged citizens. Well, yeah, you get what you vote for. Eat it, folks. Maybe when the next election comes around, you'll think a little harder who you pencil in that oval for.
Oddly enough, I got a personal insight into the mindset of the citizens who voted in Eric Adams and his messy sanctuary city policies. My stepson has a father who is a pretty smart guy. At least as far as his profession is concerned, but not so much the political lightbulb he thinks he is. As a cancer research scientist in Manhattan, a one percenter, and a hard-core progressive, he told his son (who lives with us in Missouri) that "illegal immigrants" are good for the economy because they staff our hotel housekeeping crews and harvest our produce.
I didn't miss a beat. "Well, somebody has to pick our cotton." Damn, that felt good.
But if they're "good for the economy," why does the government consider them a net drain?
Because if you're a business that relies on low-skilled labor, it's good for you. If you're a consumer, the low prices are good for you. And if you're a virtue-signaling progressive, illegal aliens are good for you, too, because you can go home at night and hug yourself in the corner while sipping hot cocoa. But generally, for the country, they're bad. Especially when you cannot escape the unavoidable fact that when you suck in millions of illegals, you are going to get a lot of bad people along with them. It's akin to drinking tainted water from a well. Your immediate thirst will be quenched, but later, your body will regret it.
Well, 58,000 illegal alien criminals, all in one city. A self-inflicted wound. A real mess. A mess helpfully expanded by Eric Adams. If Trump does do something to help him, it should come with conditions. How about we start with an apology to New Yorkers and, second, a renunciation of sanctuary city status? I have a feeling the majority of New Yorkers would have sense enough to agree. At least, I would hope so.

Improving Biopsy Services in Nigeria: Overcoming Challenges for Better Healthcare
Biopsies are critical diagnostic procedures used to detect diseases, particularly cancer, by extracting tissue samples for laboratory analysis. In Nigeria, as in many developing nations, biopsies play a vital role in improving health outcomes. However, the accessibility and efficiency of these procedures face several challenges, which have a significant impact on patient care.
The Importance of Biopsies
Biopsies in Nigeria are essential for accurate diagnosis, enabling targeted treatments and better patient management. In Nigeria, where diseases like breast cancer, prostate cancer, and gastrointestinal cancers are prevalent, timely and accurate biopsy services can significantly influence survival rates. Despite this importance, the infrastructure to support these diagnostic procedures remains underdeveloped in many parts of the country.
Tumblr media
Challenges
Limited Access to Facilities Access to biopsy services in Nigeria is largely concentrated in urban areas, leaving rural populations underserved. This disparity results in delays in diagnosis and treatment for patients outside major cities like Lagos, Abuja, and Port Harcourt.
Inadequate Infrastructure and Equipment Many healthcare facilities lack the advanced equipment required for safe and accurate biopsies. Laboratories equipped for histopathology analysis, essential for processing biopsy samples, are insufficient across the country.
Shortage of Skilled Personnel Nigeria faces a significant shortage of trained pathologists, oncologists, and medical technologists. This shortage contributes to long turnaround times for biopsy results, which can delay treatment and worsen patient outcomes.
Financial Barriers For many Nigerians, the cost of biopsy procedures is prohibitive. Without widespread health insurance coverage, patients often bear the full cost of these diagnostic services, limiting their accessibility to lower-income populations.
Cultural and Educational Barriers There is a lack of awareness about the importance of early detection and diagnostic procedures. Cultural stigmas and misconceptions about biopsies can also discourage patients from seeking these services.
Opportunities and Progress
Despite these challenges, there are promising developments in Nigeria's healthcare sector that could improve access to and the quality of biopsy services.
Government Initiatives and Public-Private Partnerships the Nigerian government, in collaboration with private organizations, is working to expand healthcare infrastructure. For example, initiatives to upgrade diagnostic laboratories and invest in equipment for tertiary hospitals are ongoing.
Training Programs for Specialists Efforts to train more pathologists and laboratory scientists are gradually addressing the workforce gap. Scholarships and international collaborations have been particularly impactful in enhancing local expertise.
Advancements in Telemedicine and Digital Pathology Emerging technologies in telemedicine and digital pathology offer new possibilities for Nigeria. Remote analysis of biopsy samples can connect rural healthcare providers to experts in urban centers or even abroad, reducing diagnostic delays.
Community Awareness Campaigns Non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and health advocacy groups are working to educate communities about the importance of early detection and diagnostic testing. These campaigns aim to reduce stigmas and promote better health-seeking behaviors.
Conclusion
Biopsies remain a cornerstone of effective Diagnostics services in Nigeria. Addressing the challenges in accessibility, infrastructure, workforce training, and public awareness will be critical to improving outcomes. By leveraging ongoing initiatives and embracing technological advancements, Nigeria has the potential to significantly enhance its diagnostic capabilities, ensuring better health for its population.

Harris is pushing joy. Trump paints a darker picture. (AP) At the top of his first speech as her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz turned to Vice President Kamala Harris and declared, “Thank you for bringing back the joy.” The next day, Harris took the theme a step further, branding the Democratic ticket “joyful warriors.” Contrast that with former President Donald Trump, who opened a news conference at his Mar-a-Lago club in Florida a few days later by saying, “We have a lot of bad things coming up,” and predicting the U.S. could fall into an economic depression unseen since the dark days of 1929 or even another world war. Democrats are playing up their sunnier outlook, promoting the idea that voters can be inspired to support someone and not just cast their ballot against the other side. The Trump campaign argues their candidate is reflecting the dour mood of the country and dismisses the idea that a growing contrast in tone and upbeat attitude will decide the presidency.
Americans’ refusal to keep paying higher prices may be dealing a blow to US inflation spike (AP) he great inflation spike of the past three years is nearly spent—and economists credit American consumers for helping slay it. Some of America’s largest companies, from Amazon to Disney to Yum Brands, say their customers are increasingly seeking cheaper alternative products and services, searching for bargains or just avoiding items they deem too expensive. Consumers aren’t cutting back enough to cause an economic downturn. Rather, economists say, they appear to be returning to pre-pandemic norms, when most companies felt they couldn’t raise prices very much without losing business. “While inflation is down, prices are still high, and I think consumers have gotten to the point where they’re just not accepting it,” Tom Barkin, president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, said last week at a conference of business economists. “And that’s what you want: The solution to high prices is high prices.”
Pentagon chief orders submarine to the Middle East, tells aircraft carrier to hasten its transit (AP) U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin has ordered a guided missile submarine to the Middle East and is telling the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier strike group to sail more quickly to the area, the Defense Department said Sunday. The moves come as the U.S. and other allies push for Israel and Hamas to achieve a cease-fire agreement that could help calm soaring tensions in the region following the assassination of Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran and a senior Hezbollah commander in Beirut. Officials have been on the lookout for retaliatory strikes by both Iran and Hezbollah for the killings, and the U.S. has been beefing up its presence in the region. Maj. Gen. Pat Ryder, Pentagon press secretary, said in a statement that Austin spoke with Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant earlier in the day, and reiterated America’s commitment “to take every possible step to defend Israel and noted the strengthening of U.S. military force posture and capabilities throughout the Middle East in light of escalating regional tensions.”
How a Mexico City hospital transforms into a coming-of-age celebration for its patients (AP) When Alexa Flores López found out she was going to have a quinceañera—the traditional celebration for a 15th birthday in Mexico—she could barely contain herself. “She got super excited, like her heart would come out!” said her mother, Carmen López Díaz. At the Federico Gomez Children’s Hospital in Mexico City, volunteers clad in white and blue nurse uniforms scurry to attend to birthday girls and boys. They curl hair, do makeup, and adjust bow ties. It’s all for the hospital’s annual “Mis XV” or “My Fifteenth” event. Whether the young patients are in treatment for a serious disease or have overcome cancer, the hospital celebrates the coming-of-age of these teenagers. After going through expensive treatments, some families can’t afford to pay for a party—with the hospital providing them an alternative. The hospital started throwing the event in 2017 after volunteer nurses caught wind that a beloved patient would turn 15 soon. They took it as an opportunity to organize a celebration for her and eventually turned it into an annual hospital event that’s been going strong for seven years.
Sidestepping Deployed Kenyan Forces, Haiti Gangs Continue Reign of Terror (NYT) In the predawn hours on a Sunday in late July, members of one of Haiti’s largest armed gangs attacked the town of Ganthier, about 25 miles east of the capital and on a road that the authorities say is used to smuggle weapons. When police reinforcements arrived in armored vehicles hours later, officers found the streets deserted, the gang members having left after destroying Ganthier’s police station and torturing and killing several residents, according to the town’s mayor and the police. Weeks after the arrival of a United Nations-backed international security force in Haiti, the gangs who have brought the capital, Port-au-Prince, and other regions in the country to their knees show no signs of letting up. The international effort to reinforce the Haitian police and a transitional government has alleviated conditions in some sections of Port-au-Prince, experts say, but gang members have refocused their attacks on the outskirts. The attack on Ganthier, a town of 60,000 people on a major highway linking the capital to the border with the Dominican Republic, is emblematic of the persistent security problem Haiti’s government faces as it tries to rebuild the shattered country.
Major wildfire rages out of control on fringes of Greek capital (AP) Nearly 700 firefighters backed by more than 30 water-dropping planes were battling a major forest fire raging out of control Monday on the northern fringes of the Greek capital. Hospitals and residential suburbs were evacuated. Fanned by strong winds, the blaze that began Sunday afternoon was racing through pine forests left tinder-dry by repeated heat waves this summer, coming on the heels of a particularly dry winter. June and July of this year were the hottest months ever recorded in Greece, which also recorded its warmest winter ever. By mid-morning, the fire was burning mainly on two separate fronts, with some parts in particularly difficult to reach areas on a mountain northeast of Athens, Climate Crisis and Civil Protection Minister Vassilis Kikilias said.
Ukrainian troops keep advancing in Russia (BBC) Ukrainian troops have advanced up to 30km (18 miles) inside the Russian region of Kursk, according to the Russian defence ministry, six days after they started their offensive. It's now the biggest and most significant incursion of Ukrainian forces since February 2022, when Russia began its full-scale invasion of Ukraine. A senior Ukrainian official told the AFP news agency that thousands of troops were engaged in the operation, with the aim "to destabilise the situation in Russia". In Sumy region, across the border, BBC reporters witnessed a constant flow of armoured personnel carriers and tanks moving towards Russia. Photos analysed by BBC Verify also appeared to show Russia constructing new defensive lines near the Kursk nuclear power plant. Meanwhile, Ukraine and Russia have blamed each other after a fire broke out at the giant Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant on Sunday.
A young generation in Bangladesh forced out the leader who ruled for much of their lives (AP) Jannatul Prome hopes to leave Bangladesh to study more or possibly find a job after she finishes her university degree, frustrated by a system that she says doesn’t reward merit and offers little opportunity for young people. “We have very limited scope here,” said the 21-year-old, who would have left sooner if her family had enough money to pay tuition at foreign universities for both her and her older brother at the same time. But recent events have given her hope that one day she might be able to return to a transformed Bangladesh. After 15 years in power, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina resigned and fled the country last week—chased out by young protesters, Prome among them, who say they are fed up with the way her increasingly autocratic rule has stifled dissent, favored the elite and widened inequalities. That Generation Z led this uprising was also not surprising: Young people like Prome are among the most frustrated with and affected by the lack of opportunity in Bangladesh
The Filipinos Living in the Shadow of China’s Military Might (NYT) For travelers flying into the tiny island of Thitu, the reality of China’s territorial ambition becomes instantly clear. There they are: dozens of Chinese ships surrounding a speck of land that a few hundred Filipinos call home. For now though, life is mostly peaceful and slow on the island. Small wooden fishing boats line a white sand beach on the eastern shore. Rough houses pieced together from plywood, scrap lumber and tarps are the main form of shelter. On a recent evening, a few people gathered near the beach to debone fish, while others waded into tide pools with fishing spears. But the calm belies the fact that Thitu is contested land. Nearby, China has stationed a flotilla of coast guard ships and maritime militia vessels. On a neighboring reef, it has constructed a military base whose lights shimmer at night like a city. The intensifying Chinese presence has startled the Philippines, which has occupied Thitu for nearly half a century. So it is upgrading its crumbling military facilities that lie on the island’s southern end. And it is encouraging more Filipinos to move in, betting more residents will strengthen its claim to Thitu, which it calls Pag-asa, or hope, and reduce hostilities with China.
Israeli Strikes on Schools Pose a Life-or-Death Choice for Civilians (NYT) A deadly Israeli strike on a school turned shelter in northern Gaza on Saturday exposed an agonizing dilemma for civilians in Gaza seeking safety after 10 months of war. They could stay at the shelters, hoping for a modicum of security in the desperate conditions of Gaza. Or they can flee, knowing that the shelters themselves can become targets. The school year has been abandoned in Gaza, and tens of thousands of civilians have flocked to the compounds since the earliest days of the war, trying to build temporary lives in classrooms and corridors, or pitching makeshift tents in schoolyards. Conditions are atrocious, residents have said, but the schools, which offer walls and access to limited plumbing, are attractive for the simple reason that the alternatives are worse. Israel’s airstrikes and ground assaults continue around the territory. Extreme hunger is widespread. And diseases are spreading fast in squalid, crowded camps and the ruins of former homes. As a result, schools have been preferable options for many because they have offered the promise of better security in a conflict that has killed nearly 40,000 people, according to Gaza’s health ministry.

The more I read about some of the obscure and arcane judicial decisions handed down by our federal, state and local judges, the more I realize that the judicial system is badly fucked up. (And, by the way, I am a lawyer, retired, but nevertheless, a lawyer.) Our system of “vetting” lawyers who want to be judges, whether by appointment or election, is just a closed-circuit system wherein the judges are judged by those would be judges or by lawyers who want to make sure that each reviewed judge knows that the reviewing lawyer has kissed the royal robe and should be thus remembered. Sure, there are honest, credible, reputable, good reviewing lawyers and judges out there, but the bad ones seem to be grabbing all the attention these days. And it starts at the tip top. The percentage of Americans who “approve” the US Supreme Court is really low and getting lower, and that isn’t good. (My view: US Supreme Court isn’t broken, but the three recent appointees, engineered by McConnell, are horrid.) What to do? Invigorate the impeachment process and start calling out the bad ones, top to bottom, and get them off the bench. Also, reform the judicial system. One example: in all family law situations, whether divorce is involved or not, take away the jurisdiction of the existing courts, and create family tribunals overseen by healthcare professionals, educators, social workers and the like. Our kids deserve better than a system in which lawyers in a closed-circuit system do nothing constructive except protect each other.
This case is just an example. Excerpt from this story from EcoWatch:
Environmental justice advocates and other progressives on Friday condemned a federal judge's decision Friday to sentence human rights lawyer Steven Donziger to six months in prison — following more than two years of house arrest related to a lawsuit he filed decades ago against oil giant Chevron.
The sentence, delivered by U.S. District Judge Loretta Preska in New York City, represents "an international outrage," tweeted journalist Emma Vigeland following its announcement.
Donziger's sentence came a day after the United Nations Working Group on Arbitrary Detention said it was "appalled" by the U.S. legal system's treatment of the former environmental lawyer and demanded the U.S. government "remedy the situation of Mr. Steven Donziger without delay and bring it in conformity with the relevant international norms" by immediately releasing him.
Donziger represented a group of farmers and Indigenous people in the Lago Agrio region of Ecuador in the 1990s in a lawsuit against Texaco—since acquired by Chevron—in which the company was accused of contaminating soil and water with its "deliberate dumping of billions of gallons of cancer-causing waste into the Amazon."
An Ecuadorian court awarded the plaintiffs a $9.5 billion judgment in 2011—a decision upheld by multiple courts in Ecuador—only to have a U.S. judge reject the ruling, accusing Donziger of bribery and evidence tampering. Chevron also countersued Donziger in 2011.
In 2019, U.S. District Judge Lewis A. Kaplan of the Southern District of New York—a former corporate lawyer with investments in Chevron—held Donziger in contempt of court after he refused to disclose privileged information about his clients to the fossil fuel industry. Kaplan placed Donziger under house arrest, where he has remained under strict court monitoring for 787 days.
In addition to Kaplan's own connections to Chevron, the judge appointed private attorneys to prosecute the case, including one who had worked for a firm that represented the oil giant.
Preska, who found Donziger guilty of the contempt charges in July, is a leader of the right-wing Federalist Society, which counts Chevron among its financial backers.

The caffeine content in bitter kola makes it a good stimulant or psycho-stimulants for the central nervous system; as it helps to improve awareness, mood and elevated mood.
These nuts, specifically bitter kola are regarded as cognitive boosters.

romotes diuresis
Kola nuts and bitter kola contain bitter chemicals such as caffeine and theobromine which serve as natural diuretics. This implies that the bitter content in these nuts helps to increase water and salt expelled from human body; and some minor sicknesses in the body are flushed out through urine in the process which makes them beneficial to human health.
13. Bitter kola boosts fertility
Nigerian women who experience infertility problems sometimes eat bitter kola to improve fertility.
14. Bitter kola helps staying awake
One of the things bitter kola is commonly abused of is its intake to prevent sleep which is possible because of its rich caffeine content, and when it’s taken regularly and in excess can at a point cause insomnia including other related problems such as stomach irritation, nervousness, restlessness, and more.
15. Bitter kola serves as natural therapy for cold
This is one of the ancient uses of bitter kola which extend till the recent times. These nuts have been found to be medicinal since the olden days as natural remedy for chest cold. 16. Bitter kola can help balance blood sugar levels
Bitter kola isn’t just useful for treating malaria. It can also be effective for individuals who have type 2 diabetes as a means of keeping their blood glucose levels stable.
Studies have found that the seeds from the plant are capable of reducing elevated blood glucose levels. This makes it ideal for both treatment of type 2 diabetes as well as for any complications that can arise from the condition.
In addition to that, studies performed on rats that had type 1 diabetes found that bitter kola could actually prevent the cognitive and motor dysfunction that is typically associated with the disease.
Side effects of bitter kola
Consumption of bitter kola nuts is completely safe. I personally haven’t experienced any sort of side effects or anything like that with eating bitter kola.  As with any form of natural supplement or remedy however, you should definitely consult with your family doctor before use.
With that being said, there have been reports of certain side effects that can occur due to bitter kola usage. As bitter kola do contain caffeine and can affect the central nervous system, most of the negative effects are felt by individuals who are sensitive to caffeine in general.
The most common side effects associated with bitter kola include:
Dry mouth
Insomnia
Rapid heartbeat
Nausea
Stomach cramps
Diarrhea
Hives
If you experience symptoms such as hives or any other sign of an allergic reaction, you should immediately stop taking bitter kola and consult with your doctor.

Biopsy Services in Nigeria: Challenges, Progress, and Future Prospects
Biopsies are crucial diagnostic tools used in the medical field to detect and analyze diseases, particularly cancers. In Nigeria, the practice of performing biopsies has evolved significantly, reflecting the country's broader healthcare challenges and advancements. This title explores the current state of biopsies in Nigeria, highlighting the practices, challenges, and recent innovations that are shaping the future of diagnostic medicine in the country.
Biopsies in Nigeria involve the removal of tissue samples from a patient for examination, typically under a microscope, to diagnose diseases such as cancer. In Nigeria, the demand for biopsy services has been on the rise due to the increasing prevalence of cancer and other chronic illnesses. However, the availability and accessibility of these services vary significantly across different regions of the country.
Tumblr media
In urban centers like Lagos, Abuja, and Port Harcourt, well-equipped hospitals and diagnostic centers offer a range of biopsy procedures, including needle biopsies, endoscopic biopsies, and surgical biopsies. These facilities often have the necessary infrastructure and trained personnel to perform these procedures safely and effectively. However, in rural areas, the situation is markedly different. Limited access to healthcare facilities, a shortage of trained medical professionals, and inadequate infrastructure pose significant barriers to the provision of biopsy services.
One of the major challenges in the biopsy landscape in Nigeria is the shortage of pathologists. Pathologists are essential for analyzing biopsy samples and providing accurate diagnoses. According to reports, Nigeria has a significantly low number of practicing pathologists relative to its population, which delays diagnosis and treatment. This shortage is further exacerbated by the brain drain phenomenon, where skilled medical professionals migrate to other countries in search of better opportunities.
Despite these challenges, there have been notable innovations and improvements in the field. Telepathology, which involves the transmission of pathology data and images electronically, has emerged as a promising solution to address the shortage of pathologists. Through telepathology, samples can be analyzed by experts in other parts of the country or even abroad, reducing the turnaround time for diagnoses.
Furthermore, collaborations between local and international organizations have led to capacity-building initiatives aimed at training more pathologists and improving the overall healthcare infrastructure. Initiatives such as the establishment of more advanced diagnostic laboratories and the provision of specialized training for healthcare workers are gradually enhancing the quality and accessibility of biopsy services in Nigeria.
In conclusion, while Nigeria faces significant challenges in providing widespread and effective biopsy services, ongoing efforts and innovations are paving the way for improvements. Addressing the critical shortages of medical professionals and infrastructure, alongside leveraging technology, will be essential in ensuring that more Nigerians can benefit from timely and accurate diagnoses through biopsies.

Impotence Medicine Associated With Reduced Long-term Risk Of Death After Heart Attack -
Option 2: you took an effort to quit smoking and/or abandon drugs (e.g. went on a rehab). The men filled out questionnaires indicating, for example, how long it took before they engaged in sexual intercourse or became aroused. Tadalafil should not be combined with Adcirca (another form of tadalafil) or other PDE5 inhibitors, for example, vardenafil (Levitra) or sildenafil (Viagra, levitra pen Revatio). Tadalafil also exaggerates the blood pressure lowering effects of some alpha-blocking drugs for example, terazosin (Hytrin) that primarily are used for treating high blood pressure or enlargement of the prostate (BPH). Viagra increases the effects of the blood pressure lowering medications. Keep a safer distance not to be harmed by the drug ingredient if you are under the capture of heart diseases, heart attacks, kidney problem, liver disease and blood disorders. Now days though the market has been flooded with various anti-impotency solutions but you should keep your mind open to take the correct decision during the selection. I had noticed my vision was a little blurry after the heart attack but I just could not identify what was causing this problem (now I think it was from the Toprol). PDE-5i drugs were originally designed to treat pulmonary hypertension and are now used extensively in the treatment of erectile dysfunction (ED). But what if this same drug (and others like it) also could be used to treat cancer? One can buy doxycycline to treat a variety of possible infections. Levitra is only one this kind of medicine which has was able to manage ED in contrast to some other erectile dysfunction tablet. He is associated with many Pharmacies for whom he writes articles based on generic drugs like Generic zyvox, Silagra, Kamagra soft tabs, Viagra jelly, Levitra. In 2005, he published reports of 14 patients who went blind shortly after taking Viagra. Boucher is an ear, nose and throat specialist for the FDA who reviewed reports of sudden hearing loss in patients taking these drugs. The risk of death was 33 per cent lower for the patients who had been given impotence drugs compared with those who had not received this treatment. In the present study, the researchers looked at how impotence drugs affect survival after a myocardial infarction, something that has not previously been known. McGwin acknowledged limitations in the study, including the limited sample size for tadalafil and vardenafil, concerns over under-reporting of use of PDE-5i medications and confounding factors such as pre-existing conditions that might also contribute to hearing loss. This one is a bit difficult to pin down but is a defensible statement, given that estimates vary widely over the actual cost of a border wall. This is an extremely exciting development and one that has taken several years of hard work. So here you have it. If you have been around for any amount of time, there’s a good chance you’ve heard of the drug Viagra. Diarrhea can have many different causes, from tainted food to irritable bowel syndrome. Can CBD Oil Boost Your Health? Yes, it’s a tired cliche that smoking, drugs, and alcohol can cause erectile dysfunction among dozens of other health problems. You can try and become a fitness/yoga trainer wherein you may need some training first in them. Within the drug class of selective phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors, it is generally the first line of treatment for erectile dysfunction. Meagan Lutz, a VA spokeswoman, didn’t comment about the reasons behind the increase in erectile-dysfunction drug spending or prescriptions. The Journal of Sexual Medicine study showed that some recent war veterans were receiving the erectile-dysfunction medicine without clear medical diagnoses. “Needless to say, he was overwhelmed by this issue and started on a medical journey to nowhere. Will Viagra cause blindness among some who take it? So should you stop using Viagra? North America dominates the global erectile dysfunction drugs market and it is expected to show the same results during forecast period due to the presence of Cialis and Viagra in U.S. 95% of the market in North America. North America constituted the largest share of approximately 55.0% in 2013 of the total erectile dysfunction market. 84.24 million total on erectile dysfunction prescriptions — last year. How long does levitra last? Levitra stays effective up to 5 hours. Levitra is co-marketed by Bayer, Schering-Plough and GlaxoSmithKline. The online company also sells other prescriptions drugs to patients. Those patients are urged to see their physicians immediately. July 2005 - I went to new (third) Ophthalmologist that specializes in the retina and he could not see any problem with my eyes. February 2005 - I saw my primary care physician (internist) for my annual physical and during the physical I told him I was still having trouble with my vision. Opening as well as being truthful using the physician is very important, more he'd be unable to provide a suitable medicine necessary for the person. The side effects are minimal and usually, the man will experience flushes or a feeling of being flustered. Usually men are shy of sharing such intimate details about themselves to the public and hence, they prefer not to visit doctors for consultation and treatment. Some are already gone. Check out Utterlyuselessinfo They are were taken near my mom's home in Austin, Texas. Yes, Trump's multiple weekends at Mar-a-Lago likely cost taxpayers millions.
