Rambley Review (Indigo Park)

After going through the new mascot horror game Indigo Park, I can say that it is a very charming game, that you should check it out and support everyone who works on it, and that I can't wait for Chapter 2.

And we're back! These pages were done in collaboration with my dear friend mia @demonkix who took the script I gave her and did the page layouts, which I then finished off myself. She's so so so much better at laying out long conversations than I am and these pages would not have looked even a fraction as good without her help. If you want to see her original sketches, she's going to be posting them herself.

something about Hephaestus saying "you're a good kid, Annabeth" really stands out to me. he didn't point out the very obvious about her, like her intellect and interest in his creations, or her hubris in thinking she could dismantle the chair. he said that she's a good kid. because Hephaestus was mistreated by the gods. because Annabeth was shunned by Athena. because he believes that gods shouldn't treat their own children like that and he wants to be better. because he knows how much it means to a little girl who's fought for approval from her own mother her whole life, whose father neglected her. because he wants to break the cycle. don't touch me

This was a fun one, albeit very difficult. Ragathas patches...her hair...why are you soo hard to animate!!! All has to look 3D, like its Turning in space.

There were many, many very funny cursed frames that I might share soon. But either way I'm really happy how this one turned out aswell, its less exaggerated than Pomnis animation but I was really aiming for cuteness and appeal with Ragatha here.

i don't think some of y'all understand how significant it is that annabeth chase, the leading lady in an IP/brand as big as percy jackson, is played by a black girl. she is not some sidekick or comic relief. THEE annabeth chase, one of the wisest, intelligent, brave demigods and love of percy jackson's life, is played by a BLACK GIRL!!

but you're so hateful and caught up with book inaccuracies and changes that you can't even offer a sliver of hope for things to improve in continuing seasons, and instead immediately resort to wishing the show gets cancelled because they didn't do that specific thing in that specific scene in the books. makes me think there might be another underlying reason as to why you want it to fail.

and before someone starts, this isn't to say you can't have criticism, but if you really love percy jackson, why wouldn't your hope be for things to get better?

Ok so their main gist of the story is it’s basically normal DT till the apple incident (when they’re about 15-17?)

At the apple incident, the villagers storm the tree attempting to get a golden apple. They injure NM, not caring if he lives or dies.

To save the tree, the apples, and himself; he eats a black apple (not a golden apple corrupted by his magic).

This overwhelms him with extreme negative emotions. He surges with power, taking out the villagers and turning Dream to stone (temporarily, only somewhere between a few hours or years, not nearly as long) . He was too late to save the tree, but the apples are fine enough. Im his surge of magic he accidentally teleports out of Dreamtale to the nearest negative AU-

He ends up hurriedly buying a coat to disguise himself and cover his newly broken skull.

Then realizing the apples may still be in danger, returns, and takes the apples to an empty AU (where his castle now is)

When Dream returns to normal, all he sees are the piles of bodies, the missing apples, and the remaining trunk of their tree. Inferring from the little information he has; Dream believes Nightmare’s “fully�� corrupted, He ate all the apples, and fled. Though, Dream does find a single remaining golden apple, “forgotten” by Nightmare.

That’s not a huge amount of info but it’s the brief synopsis of my DT
