what a weekend!!!

babe and I got all fancy for his coworker’s wedding on saturday - he was actually in the wedding party, so I obviously had to up my game to match. I finally used my blowout certificate, and was so pumped to wear this gorgeous dreeeeess!

I also had a facetime interview saturday (!!) for an overnight summer camp that works with youth aged 6-26 who have autism, ADHD, fragile x, etc. they do specific programming related to preparing for the workforce and on using communicative devices. they were looking for an RN/RPN who basically runs the show as far as meds/as needed assistance is concerned.

.......and I just got an email a couple hours ago that I got the job!!! 

I'll be starting work toward the end of june for 3.5 weeks, off for ten days, and on for another 3.5 weeks. while I'm not making a ton of money, I am still making more than I would be working my 30 hours/week at the nutrition store, plus I'll be working and not spending anything so it’s all worth it.

plus it totally combines my degrees, I'm actually HELPING people (instead of just fixin them in the hospital and away they go), and it gives me paediatric experience!!! AND it sounded like I get a good chunk of free time to do whatever I like as long as I can be found/reached on the walkie talkie 😎

AND I already booked off work for my graduation week and we’re staying at my cottage (an hour south of school) so I get some good cotty time with my fam and then just me and my dude too for the weekend!

part of me was a little bummed because I was looking forward to having the summer with my dude and our chickens and our (almost finished) raised veggie garden etc. etc. etc. but we have a lifetime of summers!!!!!
