How did Calett deal with raising a baby Tiefling, having no experience?

Calett never planned to have kids before baby Wilde stole his heart and he was pretty out of his depth in his opinion. Hes a genuinely good person but definitely defaulted to the parenting style that was used on him which became a problem pretty quickly as it revealed the only two ways you can raise a tiefling when it comes to their hellish rebuke.

1. Fear. You double down and make them understand that if they use it on you theyll get hit worse.

2. You find an alternative to corporal punishment altogether.

Maybe hes spoiling his baby, maybe hes worried about their windows and mirrors breaking from Wildes thunderous rebuke, maybe theres been enough pain between the two of them and he cant find it in himself to add to it. Regardless of the reason Calett takes the second method and affectively breaks a long generational cycle of abuse. Raising Wilde is hard, but the migraines and gray hairs are worth the solid fact that Wilde has never flinched from his touch.

Im sorry this is the second thing of art with a crying young Wilde. I promise he had a happy childhood/upbringing all things considered. Lol

-He’s very professional at his work, but he is also a dad struggling terribly with keeping up with technology. It's pretty common for Wilde to get a call during work from Calett asking him how to use the computer at his office.

-Has an impressive record collection that he’s very proud of.

-After Meeting Panya started inviting him over for dinner with her and Oba and to some of the Pantheon’s charity events. It wasn’t long before he was propositioned by her and Oba and the three have been in a polyamorous triad for some years now.

Panya Divine

-Half elf(mixed heritage), transwoman (she/her)

-Former Drag Queen, runs The Pantheon with her husband Oba

-Dedicates a lot of time to a persona of elegance and ease, but she has a quiet history with the unsavory parts of the entertainment industry that she talks to very few about

-A true community mother with more than a few unofficially adopted kids including Wilde

-In a Polyamorous triad with Oba and Calett

Oba Divine

-Half Orc Transman (he/him)

-Former Bouncer, currently runs The Pantheon with his wife Panya

-Shares a similar history of abuse as Panya(both having been exploited by the same man many years ago), however Oba is very vocal about his experiences and apart from club work is really active in community politics(getting resources for sex workers and those facing homelessness).

-Has a Nana upstate that has farm animals and he wants to retire upstate and own chickens…He really loves chickens.

-After meeting Calett, he was very ashamed to admit to Panya that he had a terrible crush on him, to which Panya admitted the same. The three have been in a polyamorous triad for a few years now and to Wilde’s dismay are somehow still in the honeymoon phase.

-After a few years and with Calett’s help, Wilde presented Oba and Panya with legal paperwork to formally adopt Wilde. Wilde has a lot of family pictures at his desk, but his favorite is the shaky polaroid of Oba violently crying over the paperwork while Panya and Calett comfort him.

-He’s the reason they’re a Mets household.
