I Sell Plants By the Way!

My dragonfruit cacti are growing like champs, even at just a bit over a year old. And to add to that, they are branching prolifically!

If anyone reading is interested, I can offer a baggie of dragonfruit cactus cuttings for sale, to be shipped at the earliest safe date for your area (concerning temperature, since freezing temps will kill the cuttings). The variety is a standard pink-skinned and red-fleshed dragonfruit cacti (pitaya) and they’re very healthy with no signs of issues.

I’m offering packages of of a minimum THREE cuttings taken and prepared from 1.5-year old pitaya cactus plants, each about three inches in length--literally just stick the cut end into moist potting soil and they take off. They’re beautiful vining ornamentals that enjoy warm humidity and direct sunlight, and if allowed to grow outside in a tropical environment where the ground never freezes (such as Florida, South Georgia, Northern Australia, North Africa) they bear night-blooming flowers and delicious dragonfruit in about 5-10 years of growth. If kept well and fed a balanced plant food on a regular basis,they can thrive in a greenhouse environment and bear fruit as well much further north of the tropics (what I’m working towards with my base plants). The red-fleshed variety is generally regarded as being high in anthocyanins, sweet-flavored, and of higher quality than the generic pink-skin but white-fleshed type available at grocery stores.

I also have nice indoor plant starters for purely air quality and ornamental purposes--they’re much easier to clone and can be thrown into the deal for an extra $2.00 or so. Crassula inulata, Spider plants both plain and variegated, purple-heart vine and caladium vine, and preorders on Molokai Purple sweet potato vegetable slips are all currently available, with others available depending on season.
