Man is from Louisiana! (Like me!!) Café au laits and beignets for breakfast every day on his way to the radio station those early mornings!

The sun is barely peaking, the drunks and partygoers from Bourbon Street & the French Quarter rising with the morning sun, businessmen that are trying to look tougher and more awake than they are, school going kids that just got off their morning paper route, their beloved Radio Broadcaster, all equals, all piling over to City Park, all trying to fit under the awning of Cafe du Monde to avoid the early drizzle, all in need of a coffee and a sweet breakfast.

Café Du Monde, 800 Decatur St, New Orleans (French Quarter), LA 70116

When I think of New Orleans, Cafe Du Monde is the first food place that comes to mind. The iconic French Market location opened in 1862. They’re open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It feels like if you’re ever feeling low, a plate of hot beignets with a cup of coffee might do a lot of improve your outlook on life.

Choose an open table and someone will come up to you to take your order. You pay when the server brings your order. The menu is simple, beignets, café au lait, black coffee, iced café au lait, frozen cafe au lait, soda, juice, milk, and water. The au lait is mixed with half and half and hot milk and the coffee is French roast mixed with chicory. They always serve the beignets and café au lait with a glass of water (you don’t have to ask for water).

Beignets (3 French doughnuts covered in powdered sugar, $3.85): Very nice, served warm, soft pillows with crispy edges and lots of powdered sugar on top

Café au lait (small, $2.94): hot, milky and really good with doughnuts

The café does close on Christmas and when there’s a hurricane passing through. There’s a takeout window for takeout orders. You can also buy the coffee in cans, mugs, and beignet mix there.

There are other Café Du Monde locations around NOLA, including at the airport, but this one on Decatur is the iconic one. There’s powdered sugar all over the floors. I don’t know if locals ever go there since the area is very touristy. There’s live “music” seemingly non-stop and street performers. Jackson Square is a few steps away. It's easy to get to Cafe Du Monde if you take the Canal Street Streetcar.

tbh my favorite thing about beth and iris as foils is that iris doesn't put a lot of effort into her appearance but because she uses actual shampoo and conditioner and gets regular time outdoors, she looks like a model compared to pale beth with dry hair (because she uses 3-in-1 soap) in old, stained clothes (because she just wears whatever hand-me-downs she gets from uncle henry)

it's not even a money thing she just has no idea where to even begin with getting fashionable, like why are there so many types of soap?? what the fuck is dry shampoo? She's so stressed just getting used to living in society again, the fewer decisions she as to make the better, so iris putting in a middling amount of effort is just miles past anything beth bothers to do

I’m not saying you or anons are wrong, just posing an alternative hypothesis that fits the data points. I do agree post in French is a smidge off, linguistically. What if anon is CM, and she is stalking SH and planting these things herself to achieve notoriety or maybe finagle a meeting. (Hey we are rumored to be dating so let’s go on an actual date 😉) and yeah, full disclosure, I’m still sad about KE - the yenta in me thought they were perfect.

The English translation was from Google because I was going to bed and too tired to translate it myself. The Anon's French is perfectly fine French. I lived in Paris, I speak French. Please tell me where "linguistically" it is not from someone who speaks French. Also, if it's someone who is trying to pass off as French, wouldn't they have used a translation app and made sure their French was perfect? Or, written in English and said their English wasn't good?

I have an IP app that tells me people's IP addresses, the cities from where they're sending me Anons, if it's a real IP or a VPN, the electronic device they're using, and how many times they've visited my blog. The 3 Anons I've gotten about Chloé are all from different IP addresses, using 3 different devices. This last one was from Paris, France like I posted. So, unless one Anon has 3 different devices they're using to send me Asks AND they are both an Android and iPhone user, these are NOT the same person.

As far as Anon being Chloé, c'mon now, that's ridiculous. For that to be true, Chloé, who is busy always traveling the world and has a LIFE full of fashion, food, friends, would have had to somehow find my blog, be so obsessed with Sam and so fucking immature at age 31, to then send an Outlander gossip blog a plant about herself with Sam? Read how dumb that sounds. Chloe comes from money, she has a ton of connections, if she wanted a "meeting" with Sam all she would have to do is hit up one of her friends who knows a friend who knows a friend and voilà. Mademoiselle Montana does not need to finagle any dates; they come to her. Trust.

Since both Sam and Chloé self-admittedly use Raya, the exclusive celebrity dating app, my money is that that's how they connected.

As for Karina Elle, I understand everyone has their favorite Sam ex-girlfriend/date, but that doesn't mean you need to subscribe to conspiracy theories. FACT: the Anon Asks I received about Sam and Chloé sightings in Paris a few months ago are all from different people. And they were all sent from Paris. So, unless there's 3 Parisians who decided to take time out of their insouciant la vie en rose Paris lives to try to pull the wool over my eyes, I'd file this under #samtana did happen. Oh, and also Chloé is not in Paris right now, so she couldn't have sent this Anon Ask. You referenced data points; there they are. Facts.
