Polres Tanggamus Beri Pengobatan Anak Yatim Disabilitas Bengkok Kaki CTEV

Tanggamus - Polres Tanggamus Polda Lampung lakukan pendataan guna melakukan pengobatan kepada anak yang menderita disabilitas berusia 6 tahun bernama Elmira Dwi Nafisa di Kecamatan Kota Agung Timur Tanggamus. Pasalnya, anak tersebut mengalami cacat bawaan lahir yaitu kaki terpelintir dari bentuk atau posisi normal, sehingga kondisi Elmira Dwi Nafisa sangat memprihatinkan terlebih saat ini ia adalah anak Yatim setelah sang ayah meninggal dunia. Sebelum dilakukan pengobatan, Polres Tanggamus melalui Urusan Kesehatan (Urkes) dan Dokter Mitra berkunjung ke kediaman Elmira di Dusun Tulung Gistang, Pekon Kampung Baru guna memeriksa fisik sehingga dapat diambil langkah terbaik penanganannya. Menurut keterangan Meriana, selaku ibu dari Elmira, bahwa putri keduanya tersebut telah mengalami kelainan tulang sejak lahir dan sebelum kelahiran memang sedikit sulit namun berhasil lahir dengan normal. Mengetahui anaknya mengalami kelainan, pihak keluarga mencoba untuk membawanya ke dokter untuk mendapatkan pengobatan medis. "Kakinya cacat sejak lahir. Sempat kami bawa ke Rumah Sakit Batin Mangunanh kemudian dirujuk, terakhir melakukan pengobatan di Rumah Sakit Imanuel," kata Meriana di kediamannya, Sabtu 10 Juni 2023. Meriana menjelaskan, karena keterbatasan alat di Lampung kala itu Elmira harus dirujuk ke Solo. Namun keluarganya tidak dapat berangkat lantaran keterbatasan biaya. "Karena keterbatasan biaya, waktu itu enggak bisa berobat ke solo, sesuai arahan dokter yang menangani di RS Imanuel," jelasnya. Atas upaya Polres Tanggamus itu, Meriana berharap sang putri dapat berjalan dengan normal kembali. "Terima kasih atas upaya Polres Tanggamus. Saya berharap anak saya bisa berjalan dengan normal biar sama kaya anak-anak lainnya juga," harapnya. Sementara itu, menurut Dokter Finda selaku Dokter Mitra Polres Tanggamus bahwa Elmira menderita penyakit CTEV yang merupakan kelainan bawaan dari struktur tulang. "Kita nanti akan coba upayakan agar bisa kembali normal walaupun nanti sedikit memakan waktu," kata Finda. Dirinya menjelaskan, nanti pihaknya akan konsultasi kepada dokter anak terlebih dahulu juga kepada pihak dokter tulang. Sehingga baru bisa diputuskan akan melakukan operasi atau menggunakan sepatu khusus untuk anak tersebut. "Nanti setelah konsultasi baru bisa diputuskan akan melakukan operasi atau menggunakan sepatu khusus untuk memperbaiki struktur tulang," jelasnya. Finda menjelaskan, tidak dapat memastikan berapa persen anak itu akan sembuh atau kembali normal. Sebab kesembuhan pasien tergantung kepada pasiennya dan hasil ronsen dari tulang pasien tersebut. Pasalnya, pasien tersebut terakhir melakukan kontrol pada saat usia 3 bulan. Sedangkan usia pasien saat ini sudah 6 tahun dan perkembangannya sudah tidak terkontrol lagi. Karena pihaknya juga harus mempertimbangkan hasil ronsen terbaru dari si anak. Finda juga tidak bisa memastikan kapan anak tersebut bisa melakukan pemeriksaan lanjutan. "Karena setelah ini kita akan lakukan konsultasi bersama dengan Kapolres untuk tindak lanjutnya," tandasnya. Kapolres Tanggamus AKBP Siswara Hadi Chandra, S.I.K mengungkapkan, bahwa sebagai bentuk kepedulian Polres Tanggamus kepada disabilitas akan melakukan langkah konkrit dengan mengupayakan yang terbaik dalam penanganan Almira. Kemudian, khususnya pada HUT Bhayangkara ke 77 Tahun 2023 perhatian kepada disabilitas merupakan perintah dari pimpinan Polri terlebih Almira berdomisili dekat dengan Polres Tanggamus. Physical model

I started by looking into inspiration from Pinterest and Designsperation. Both of which are useful websites where you see other peoples work for inspiration. I found a lot of these deconstructed approaches to spatial design and architecture, I thought this would be an interesting way to interpret the project because it means that each layer can hold meaning. As well as the separated aesthetic helped separate ideas of minimalism and maximalism whilst also embracing the idea of them being combined to form balance. 

Furthermore, I started sketching up concept ideas. I started on the idea of doing three separate models, one for minimalism, one for maximalism and one for balance. Then I moved on to the idea that they should combine, I thought about separating the walls and details from each other. Through this sketching process however I did end up developing an ideal balanced workspace for myself, I then decided to think about it in parts, what made these things maximal, and what made them minimal. The minimal approach I decided should be the extreme, a completely stripped down version, the base floor on its own. Maximal I thought can then be any layers that are added until it forms a whole sculpture.

I then went on to developing physical prototypes and using Fusion 360 to develop these ideas further. It helped to visualise the concept in a 3D and tangible way. It allowed me to see function and movement which turned out would be essential. I seemed to fall on the idea of the separated layers and then I was thinking about how to give this illusion of perhaps floating to create that merging effect. I looked back on the physical scaffold I made and realised it would be a perfect literal deconstruction. Bringing ideas of construction sites which I feel links in perfectly with my approach with spatial design.

Through this process, there was a lot of iteration in the design. I started working with MDF laser cut prototypes. I decided that I wanted the end result to be laser cut acrylic because it is clear and it offers this idea of the unnoticeable noticeable. Practising the fit of the wall and floors using the same 3mm width for MDF as I would with acrylic helped me troubleshoot issues in the early stages. I made templates in Adobe Illustrator to create these models.
