I mean we have met up recently and I do not want to say it wasn’t fun. For a moment it felt just like being home and finally among equals.

But just for a moment. Then the reality hits - nobody in this world is thinking about their actions. It doesn’t matter if you are some weird kid from Veronaville, a scientist from Strangetown.

It can happen to everyone. No wonder I am still unkissed and unrecognized in my perfection and glory. They’re all too blind for this, too caught up in their own excuse of a decent life that they do not even notice how much they are wasting it. But me? I’ve realized it.

I only needed to take one look to come to the most obvious conclusion. When it comes to this world - be it Strangetown, Veronaville, Pleasantview or anywhere else, one thing is true...

CHISBI - Update 1

It’s Wednesday, my dudes and we are here to start with a first step right into this wonderful, wonderful, wonderful ISBI! Chester has decided to take a step against stupidity and find a spouse for himself!

Aaaah, the fresh mountain air! Thank goodness we have all the time and place to enjoy it. Purchasing one gigantic lot on top of a mountain, Chester has freed himself from living or breathing the same air as..well..everyone for most of the time. The wifi is going to be set up soon, him being a Computer Whiz after all. He’s pretty flirty too, though weirdly enough, most ladies do not share his sense of humour - maybe he’s just socially awkward. And yet, with his green thumb Chester is sure to make love blossom between him and the lady of his choice at this beautiful...

Campground? Well, he is unlucky after all! Why else would he be surrounded by idiots? And speaking of idiots...

Wanda Tinker, what are you wearing? Readers who remember my far away uberhood might remember my particular dislike to the Tinkers. So technically, Wanda is the perfect welcome wagon for our darling Chester, right?

Chester: Please be someone hot and smart, please be someone hot and smart, please be someone hot and smart!

Florence Delarosa: Oh? Like Checo Ramirez? Sounds pretty hot and smart to me!

Oh gawd, what’s wrong with Bluewater Village and why is every sim obsessed with Checo?

Wanda: Teehee, he IS certainly handsome! And a businessman, just like my darling husband!

Alright, I am slowly getting why exactly this is called an ISBI. Your opinion on this, Chester?

Chester: Wanda is HOT!

Okay, but seriously - what? WHAT? How are we supposed to make it through this ISBI if these are Chester’s choices? I am sorry but I’m never going to put up with Wanda. Never again. How about you talk to Flore-

Chester: Hearts surrounding people? Pathetic. The true way to a woman’s heart is some h2o in the face.

Florence: You know that wedding ring would look much nicer on my floor.

Checo: Aahaahahah, what?

Literally five minutes in and we are already having our first non-kiss onscreen. Poor Florence, although I am positively suprised about Checo? Who would have thought he’d be faithful to his wife? Certainly not Florence.

Of course, there is Chester who would rather have a waterballoon fight than look for romantic prospects.

Chester: Love is for losers, everybody! Miss me with that heart-shit!

In fact, this turned out to be exactly Chester’s opinion on love because let me introduce to you all the gorgeous ladies we met that Chester was not interested in in the slightest.

But no, none of the women are able to meet Chester’s standards of having brown hair (err...DJane?), glasses. Worse, how dare all of them are interested in fitness? The horror! Is there one person who makes your heart beat faster, Chester?

Chester: The carpool lady could take me anywhere she wanted.

But don’t you worry darling reader because this kind of dislike is actually quite mutual.

Goneril: Having even more brats instead of taking over the family fortune? No way!

Townie: Please, anyone but me, please! I have 13 wonderful friends you could bother instead

Well, isn’t this just...fascinating. I considered a few possibilities for this ISBI but not being able to connect with any women (damn you, Chester, why did you roll straight?) was certainly not on my list, especially since usually ACR does all the work for me is..unprecedented. Speaking of ACR, how are things going romantic-wise?

Chester: Vivian Cho, was it? Have I ever mentioned how much I value women of your kind? Sophisticated, smart and dedicated?

Vivian: Ahahaha, what?

Chester: You being a Family-Sim statistically goes so well with my wisdom aspiration! You could stay at home and take care of our 2.5 kids while I climb the career ladder and become a Criminal Mastermind!

Vivian: Honestly I’d rather...

Vivian: I’d rather take care of my own daughter, you know? And fall in love with my actual love interest than some redhead rando who I’ve literally met just today?

Chester: But...but you’re the first woman I am interested in! We're soulmates, Vivian!

Chester: We...we’ve had a one whole bolt of chemistry between us!

Alright, that’s it, Chester, we’re going home. Maybe we should just focus on making money instead! We all know that money can attract quite a few different women, right?

Elder Lady: Oh, my! Why do you have such a big and strong mountain of chips? Mind if I sit down ;) ;) ;) ;)

Chester actually manages to rob both Elder Lady and John Mole of all the money they carry with themselves and, just as prophecised, finds a new romantic interest right away...

...who is MARRIED? Opal, Chester? Opal Contrary? I thought you had standards?

Chester: A woman who has once experienced childbirth displays she is an excellent canditate for being my spouse! And her being married means she already knows what she’s getting into :D

....Opal seems not disinterested which means I have to brace myself. Are we ready for this? Breaking up a family for the sake of this ISBI? Are we able to do this? To commit to adultry?

Opal kind of takes that choice right from us. Not only completely underdressed but also bringing her husband and the Jocques along with them! Dare I say...power move?

Chester: Bringing your husband to make your commitment to me official? Opal, now, that’s really attractive if I dare say so~ Opal: Actually...

Opal: You being so into me kinda really saved my marriage. I mean, it’s so flattering to know silly young boys like you can appreciate my beauty and it’s kinda a kink for Eddy and me that I flirt with young strangers but like...you didn’t think I was really interested in you, did you? Because honestly, that would be kinda dumb.

Chester: B-but...but we had one whole bolt together!

History repeats itself I guess.

The rest of the evening Chester chills out on the dancefloor, crying his heart out while singing along to Bring Me To Life as Opal and her husband make out in the photobooth.

Chester: It’s just like Pleasantview all over again! I knew it, I clearly am surrounded by idiots! Why else would these married women with children not be interested in a young and single stud like meeeeee?

Deciding to distract Chester and also earn a little bit of money, we are heading to Club Indigo to join a dance competition. And not only are we leaving with Cash in hand..we are also making quite an interesting new person...

Chester: Honestly, this biker attire is really attractive. Especially that colour coding! Red and black is an ensamble that I prefer myself. And those glasses are vintage, aren’t they?

Chester: Don’t you think so, too, Herb?

Herb: What?

Chester: Sorry, ignore him, he’s simply trying to imitate our style. But speaking of us, would you like to hang out tonight and discuss more about us being possibly superior to the rest of this town, m’lady?

Clarette: ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Chester: That’s definitely counting as consent!

Chester is Surrounded by Noobs!

Hello everybody and welcome to the MADNESS! I’ve been craving playing premades and also doing something with my own sims for quite a whilte and finally found the perfect solution for myself - why not start an ISBI with Chester Gieke, an unkissed virgin who knows he’s better than the rest of us?

The links to ISBI rules can be found here - yes, they have not been updated for things after pets but it’s kind of obvious what you need to do:

1) You only play one Sim until you pass over the torch. The torch can be passed down once they have their first birthday announcement when they are Teens. You loose this challenge if your Torchholder dies before passing the torch.

2) You get one command per lifestage for each non-playable Sim - just one and it has to be simple!

3) No looking at wishes or needs. (Here I allow myself to look at Traits and Zodiac Sign bc...honestly, why not? Where’s the harm in that?)

4) Townies as well as Premades are okay as long as they have are “untouched” - meaning I have not played with them yet. Since these promo pictures are lazily posed in a different that means everything goes. I’ll be using maxis premades, @simotonin​‘s Townies as well as @moocha-muses​ and @mikexx2​‘s Dormies once I am adding Universities. Basically - everything goes!

So - it sounds easy and hard all at once, doesn’t it? I’m kind of excited and hope you will accompany me and the Giekes for 5-6 Generations (passing the torch from 5 to 6 will end this challenge)! After all, with someone as brilliant as Chester...what could be going wrong?

It’s (almost) Wednesday, my dudes and that means it is time for another CHISBI Update as well as me regretting the tags I choose for this experiment while being too lazy to fix them. Last Update we watched Chester developing his fetish for married women and found the one townie whose standards were low enough to go on a date with! Who is this mystery woman? And why is Chester wearing his athletic wear? Let’s find out!

Chester, after deciding to take it slow, has also to the decision to kick this ISBI up a notch. Clarette is everything one could wish for in a potential spouse - well, aside from the black hair that’ll completely eat up any chance of having redhaired children. However, she seems capable. Unmarried. Well-mannered.

Chester: Clarette, lovely, ordering a plate full of whipped cream was obviously the perfect choice! And it goes so well with my nectarine tartelett! Now, do you think their consistencies match well?

Clarette: ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Chester: AHAHAHA, I *love* the way you talk!

Chester: Truth be told, I am usually a man who takes it slow. But they always say, when you know, you know. I’ve been hurt, Clarette. Hurt by females who dared to play with my heart.

Chester: I mean, I’ve learned from them. Wear athletic wear for dates to try not too hard. Stay away from women who have kids. But, Clarette, so far none of them listened. They all just laughed at me and humiliated me. But you...you’re so good at listening, Clarette.

Clarette: (｡♥‿♥｡) 

I have to say, they are very cute - most of all because Clarette is patient enough to let Chester do, whatever he wants to do and Chester finally getting that first kiss he wanted to snatch a while ago! After a perfect date it’s time to go home and relax, maybe work a bit on finally getting into the criminal career and-

I can’t believe it, this Unlucky Trait really is working a bit too well for Chester.  How can we pay our bills like this? After finally having a house to live in? Well...there’s always one way...

Chester: So you see, it might be a bit fast to take this step but I mean I literally told you that you are the one for me. And I’ll be honest - I have no health insurance and I am suffering from a deathly illness so not only would you be so lucky to be my wife, your money would also completely safe my life!

Clarette: (｡◕‿◕｡)

WHAT ONLY 1k?!

But hey at least we will not die!

And gosh, I have to say, a winter wedding like this is quite romantic. We did sadly not have enough to throw them a wedding party but with 1k of funds we at least get to refurnish our house a bit and hopefully be ready for babies soon. But first...let’s take a look at our beautiful spouse!

Clarette is a Family Sim who dreams of becoming a Predistigator! She’s a Virgo (9/2/6/3/5) who tends to be so shy she prefers to spend her Friday nights at the fishpond rather than at the nightclub. Not only does she have gorgeous brown eyes and wears glasses, but her leather jacket is more than just an accessory! Our sweet Clarette is a vehicle enthusiast and gosh, now I get the whole biker girl look! She is a born salesperson and knows as a mooch how to save a few simoleons when you buy something at the gas station. According to most of her townie friends, she does not have a sense humour but people just sometimes simply do not get how good hers is.

More importantly, our Clarette has a job!

In the Criminal Career Track of all things! She gets paid around 800 simoleons so I will not be using her free command to quit something that pays so well. Sorry, honey. It’s not like being an ISBI spouse is a nice kind of future anyway.

Clarette: ᕦ(ツ)ᕤ You go, Clarette, you independent career monster, you!

As this is an ISBI I will not be controlling Clarette! Everything she does will be what she wants to do as currently demonstrated by her deciding to just sit right next to Chester and watch him sleep. Creepyute!

Chester, himself feels independent enough to wish to quit for his job and have Clarette bring home the money. Not happening, Chester!

I noticed I do not have a direct post make-over look for Clarette because she and Chester managed to get pregnant pretty fast. However, her being such a neat sim means she’s actually cleaning up after herself! I love her so much already.

Unlike Chester, Clarette knows being pregnant is not so fun at the moment. Her aspiration and mood are slowly but surely spiraling lower and lower which is why she’s often found worrying about something. She’s the one who earns so much more than her husband and now she’s all stuck at home! Or, to use Clarette’s words...

Clarette: ( 　ﾟ,_ゝﾟ)

Clarette: ヽ(๏∀๏ )ﾉ 

I am a bit shocked I did not really document much here but most of Clarette’s days were spent between the fridge and her bed while Chester worked his way up? Still, I got super excited because BABY! We’re going to have our first baby! A potential torchholder for Gen 2!

Clarette: (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧ 

Baby: UNHAND ME WOMAN!

Aw, she got Chester’s eyes! This little girl is named Lightning - named both after Lightning from Final Fantasy as well as Lightning McQueen from Cars. This is supposed to be a happy marriage after all :D

More importantly, another good reason for having Family Sims as spouses - instant platinum mood when having a baby. For those of you wondering why Clarette seems to have aged half her life-span within five days - I kind of screwed something up with an age mod and she had 66 days of adulthood left when she moved to the household so I manually adjusted it back to my original length :)

Chester: Clarette, now that you’ve been so lovely and gave us our beautiful daughter Lightning I think you and I should try with phase two of our lucky family - have another child! I know I am rarely at home but, you know, you were so cute being pregnant with MY baby, I kinda wanna see it again? What do you say?
