anyway!! joel and ellie cuddling on the couch together!! a quilt over top of them as ellie fiddles with one of the corners!! joels arm around her shoulders or her hand in his!! little moments of teasing between them!! joel poking her side when she makes a stupid joke!! ellie falling asleep against him!! ellie transitioning to her head in his lap just like sarah did!! joel bringing the quilt up higher to cover her shoulders!! joel carries her to bed and kisses her head just like he’d do with sarah!! or they stay there the whole night and joel falls asleep with her asleep in his lap!!
