COSPLAY PROGRESS ARCHIVE : THE MACHINE HERALD ⚙️

HI JAYVIK NATIONNNNNN!! I mean… EGG DOG NATIONNNN!!!

I’m just posting this to archive my progress on my Viktor cosplay! I thought it might also be useful to anyone else who wants to cosplay this version of Viktor too!

As of right now, I’m just painting this body suit! I got a gray bodysuit and am using purple and black fabric paint to do the details! For the gold details, I’m using gold puffy paint! However, I did mess it up a bit trying to lay it back somewhere safer for it to dry! Detailed here vvv ( ；∀；)

Thanks to problem solving with my friends, I think I’m gonna try to clean it up a bit more with rubbing alcohol and then paint over it with my black and purple paint! I might also draw some gear details with the puffy paint to distract from the mess BAHAH

OVERALL!! I’m having fun making my own cosplay (as usually I purchase them!) Once the bodysuit is finished, I’ll be draping and sewing the cloak! I’m not the best at sewing, so I plan on making a simple skirt for the bottom and then draping the rest around me, sewing the top parts in place where I think it looks good! I was inspired by CeeLeeCosplay on YouTube (see their video here!) so I’ll be using their method for the cloak part! It seems like something I can do! >:D

I’ll be wearing this cosplay for Katsucon on Saturday! (On Friday I’ll be Jeff the Killer and on Sunday I’ll either be Tori Himemiya or Finland depending on if my Tori cosplay arrives on time! :0c) I’ll definitely take some pics at the convention! I’m so excited!! >w<
