as much as clarice had said it to tease him, she also simply wanted to hear it. there was a span of time between them where clarice was sure will didn't want her at all, in any capacity. she was simply around, keeping an eye on him while he decided whether or not he wanted to live or not. her stubbornness to stick around seemed to frustrate will, more than anything, but she had decided to stay. it had all paid off. she'd gotten her way just enough under his skin that will decided to let clarice in. and he was trying, she could tell. the way he softened over time, knowing now that she wouldn't abandon him.

unlike her other relationships with men, clarice had allowed will to lead to keep him comfortable. she understood why it had to be that way, at first, and she would have been content to keep it that way. now, with will on the counter, clarice once again at home in her strap, she realizes how much she's wanted this. how strong she feels when she's in control. eyes wonder over will's features as he fights himself to answer the question properly. clarice doesn't say anything, simply watches, taking a breath as she sees the wetness ( the want ) between his legs and the way he looks up at her through thick lashes. 'y'think your eyes can just get you anything you want?' clarice murmurs, stepping closer, hips pressing against the counter and tip of the toy pressing against will's warmth, just enough for the top to disappear. hands land on will's waist, and for a moment she just stands there, gazing at him. wondering how they got here. not caring for the answer as long as they're together, and then she moves one hand to guide herself into him, her breath fluttering as she waits for will's expression to change. @cravedeeper / cont.

will is so fucking intelligent its actually insane. i never realized that he suspected seizure after his first case of sleep walking. immediately after that he's in hannibal kitchen theorizing about physical disease. its so heart breaking to see the way he feels so sure of the problem from the start but lacks the confidence to take action when his support system doesn't see eye to eye with him. how many times in his life has he known something with aching clarity, only to be denied by those around him that doubt, dislike, or infantilize him?
