MEET THE BLOGGER - MOSSWISP

(featuring Mistah Bonefall, who I held hostage one time.)

Mosswisp ('Pafumsaisi' in Clanmew) is a SkyClan warrior known for being absorbed in her hobbies. She loves arts and crafts, as well as learning new things about cultures and cuisines. Generally, she's very socially awkward and is a bit of a clown, but her jokes are well-received by clanmates and her crafting skills are invaluable to SkyClan.

Mosswisp was named for both the peculiar markings on her legs and her crafting abilities with silk and twine.

She has some odd interests, including Twolegs and burial rites.

Terrible hunter and only a decent fighter. She's a bit self-conscious about this, so she tries to "compensate" for this with her crafting abilities.

Born a molly and generally identifies as one, but she also really vibes with being a gib. Ironically, she's very butch/tom-like (at least by Forest Four standards). Uses she/they pronouns.

(whether she publicly identifies as a gib or not depends on if Skyclan's perception of gender and transitioning differs from the Forest Four's)

The mark on her chest is meant to vaguely resemble the triple moon symbol.

Is surprisingly spiritual for someone who seems like a goofy oddball. Very devoted to her ancestors and does her best to foster a close relationship with them. I imagine she'd invoke Skywatcher often.

Many cats wonder why she didn't decide to train as a Cleric, since she often has such strong ties to the supernatural.

The answer is that she hates learning about medicine and doesn't want that level of power and responsibility lmfao.

I want to make her a sort-of afficionado of kitty witchcraft (as an actual practitioner), but idk if SkyClan/Skypelt has the same taboo towards those lmfao. Either way, she had the makings of a priest, but shes a girlie who just wants to make stuff lmfao.

Very fond of Twoleg hats. If she gets her paws on one, she'll keep it and wear it to Gatherings and public events.

Also very fond of food, especially Twoleg food. She's crazy about butter, and will gleefully join raids just to get a chance to nab a stick lol. She likes eggs and sweet foods as well. Enjoys ThunderClan's foods the best out of the other clans'.

Is extremely curious about the culture of the Forest Four, but at the same time, she has a general disdain for the cats there. She hates how violent and bigoted many Clan cats tend to be, and thinks their code is very harsh. She particularly dislikes ShadowClan they were mean to her one time :'( due to not vibing with their particular Brand of humor. Also cannot stand their food, but in typical SkyClan fashion, she's very polite about declining.

Struggles with self-esteem issues and anxiety, but receives medication for the latter.

Likes to weave trinkets/clothing of silk for loved ones during special events.

The Skyfall AU Masterpost

This post will be an archive of sorts for the information posts for the Skyfall AU.

The goal of this AU is to hammer out a solid timeline for warrior cats, emphasize the downfall of Skyclan and the aftermath as key drivers in the plot, and better flesh out the characters and clan culture(s)! Additionally, I hope to address some of the more problematic elements of the canon text to make a narrative that is more satisfying and lives up to the potential the warriors world has. I also want to pin down a setting (at the moment I am leaning towards SW Scotland) for the books in order to make the names and environment consistent and accurate.

This AU will focus primarily on the the time frame from the fall of Skyclan to the end of OotS, since those are the books I read as a kid/teenager and are the books I have the best grasp of. I stopped reading the series consistently several years ago, but have re-read TPB recently. As such, I probably won't do much work on anything post-The Last Hope. Perhaps later, but certainly not anytime soon.

I hope to tackle DotC at some point, since I got about halfway through that arc before stopping reading the books.

Goal of the rewrite

This AU is inspired not only by the canonical warriors books that I read as a kid/teen but also by the work of @bonefall and @cryptidclaw, both blogs I absolutely love reading through because the ideas in their respective AUs/rewrites are superb and get the creative juices flowing. In particular, I plan on using the clanmew language system developed by bonefall and @troutfur and drawing from the clan culture bonefall has numerous posts about. This is also inspired by other animal fantasy books I read in my childhood, including Tailchaser's Song, Guardians of Ga'hoole, and Wings of Fire.

Skubibauss en Pao

To try and regain motivation to work on my translation of Starkit's Prophecy into Clanmew (the Warrior Cats conlang of @troutfur and @bonefall), I wrote an original story in Clanmew, set in the Better Bones AU and inspired by a story I read in a book of Filipino folktales from the 1920s.

Provided here is that story, an English translation, and an interlinear gloss.

I've kind of simplified the gloss? I still say, like, jussive and genitive, but I've also used "verbed" rather than "verb.PST" and such. It's mostly in the interest of legibility.

In the gloss, a full stop . represents multiple English morphemes being part of the same Clanmew morpheme, and a hyphen - represents the boundary between two Clanmew morphemes.

Lacking words for "give" and "take," I commandeered "prreerreerr," extending it in meaning from "to bring" to "to bring forward, to present" and from there to "to surrender or give," and "hageeshi," extending it in meaning from "to bring" to "to bring with or take."

Blackwater! (Originally known as Darkwater)

A pure black molly with bright amber eyes, a nicked ear, a scar along her back left leg, and long, thick, glossy fur.

Blackwater is born a pretty famous couple, Tangleburr and Waterfern. Waterfern is Leopardstar's sister who managed to survive birth and thrive. She is a trans molly, transitioned in the middle of her apprenticeship. Tangleburr, Lizardstripe's daughter, was brought to Riverclan during Tigerclan times, and ended up falling in love with Riverclan's ways. She LOVES fish, she loves weaving with reeds, she loves the shell collections.

They, along with a few others, helped free the cats who'd been imprisoned. She has done some crappy things in the past, like being on Brokenstar's side for a while and fleeing Shadowclan with him and others, she feels horrible about it, and works to free the other cats in Riverclan.

Their first litter is Mintwhisker, the renamed Mintfur. Their second litter is Flykit, Whistlekit, and Blackkit. Blackkit was the only survivor, her brothers in that litter being stillborn. She was born during late Long Shadows, and is on the cusp of the Omen Generation. She is a relatively good hunter, specializing in deep water to grab muscles and clams. She has a good interest in cooking, and very romantic dreams of wooing a pretty molly.

Blackpaw was trained by Rainstorm and suffered terribly during the Drought. Her long black fur was NOT doing her any favors. Her new friend Cloudpaw at least had thinner fur and was almost pure white. She began having strange dreams afterwards, a pretty mottled gray molly was offering to teach her to be stronger. It would help her find a mate, like how Mintwhisker had a gorgeous mate in Icewing. She wasn't jealous of her older brother, she wanted to be like him...

She accepted, and was soon training in The Dark Forest under Mistfang. She didn't realize Hawkfrost's daughter Cloudpaw was here too. Blackpaw soon earn the name Blackwater under the new leader, Mistystar, and a while latter, after Russetfur's death, Cloudpaw earned her name too! She... Didn't like it as much.

Fun fact, in Bonefall's Clanmew, Blackwater's name is "Urrnhoeba", meaning Stormy, Abyssal Water. Fitting for a cat that dives into the deepest parts of the river.

Blackwater and Cloudsnap grew close, though Cloudsnap was getting really into her Dark Forest training... She was really starting to believe what Mapleshade had been telling her...

When The Great Battle came, Blackwater fought for the Clans, thankfully convincing Cloudsnap to join her. The two fighting off Dark Forest cats together, even managing to shatter one - an old spirit known as Raggedthorn (when I say old, I mean this guy came from the "Leadership is inherited, not for the deputy" era).

Later on, while trying to keep up with her career and process her trauma and grief, as both Tangleburr and Waterfern died during the Battle, Cloudsnap proposes to become mates with her. Finally, a win for this lesbian.

Then the Kin showed up, and Mintwhisker died. 🥲

Then she and Cloudsnap got exiled by Mistystar at the command of Bramblestar. How easily some could forget that Blackwater was technically half-Shadowclan.

It only gets better when Mistystar finally kicks the bucket. Though she and Cloudsnap aren't in on it, they can finally raise their family in some quiet, both taking care of 2 new kits in the nursery. No one knows who gave birth to them, but they both take time off to care for the babies, Poppykit and Sootykit. Riverclan can sort itself out without us.

Frisk - Kindlepaw (Kagnampwyr)

A former kittypet who joined the clans out of curiosity, Kindlepaw was named for their striking tortoiseshell markings (being brown with patches of deep, fiery ginger, the most prominent of which being a heart-shaped marking on their chest). However, they initially regretted their decision, thanks in part to their immense dislike for combat and hunting. Eventually, they found success in acting as a forager of sorts, successfully locating a bunch of prey and herbs during a particularly harsh leaf-bare. Full name will be the honor title Trailblaze (Shofiswarfyf, “path has burned”, after the fact that they managed to create their own path in the clan without learning how to hunt or fight or become a cleric).

Flowey/Asriel - Flowerpaw (Ponmapwyr)

A golden and white tom who seems to hate everyone and everything, Flowerpaw is the only surviving child of Lightseed and Loststar after an accidental forest fire. Having lost one of his legs and all of his siblings, he went from kind and loving to a jaded jerk. Thankfully, his mentor seems to be helping him through his issues, and he’s slowly been growing nicer over time. Full name will be Flowerbloom (Ponmamwar, “flower will bloom”, after the fact that he’s working through his trauma and the hope that he’ll be able to heal from it).

Toriel - Lightseed (Shayuhi’i)

A white molly with striking pink eyes, Lightseed was named for the fact that she was always interested in kits and tending to the nursery, to the point she immediately got with the first tom she liked and became a permanent queen. She had at least eight kits, spread across three separate litters. Unfortunately, she lost all but one of them in a fire her mate accidentally caused. She never forgave him for that, and even temporarily left the clan so that she could deal with her grief without having to see her ex-mate. She eventually returns with Kindlepaw, who she adopted once she processed everything.

Sans - Bluebone (Luparbaben)

A small and round cat who is quick to crack a joke, Bluebone was named for the bone-like markings on his fur. While he tends to laze around camp like he’s lived there forever, nobody knows exactly where he came from, and he’s always quick to dodge the question whenever anybody asks. Some theorize that he is kin of the disappeared cleric Boneberry (Babenlepe), given their resemblance, but nothing has ever been confirmed. He mentors Kindlepaw, teaching them about the things clan cats do besides hunt and fight.

Papyrus - Redbone (Reybaben)

A tall and lanky cat, Redbone was named for his bone-like markings just like his brother. Unlike his brother, he’s always looking for work to do, whether it’s around camp or all throughout the territory. Part of this is likely to come from the fact that he was made a warrior late due to failing his first assessment. Despite that, he always tries to keep a positive outlook on things no matter what, believing that even the worst cats can change. This is why he was given Flowerpaw to mentor, much to everyone’s (including his own) surprise.

Undyne - Scaleclaw (Weeshkach)

A blue and ginger tortoiseshell with a large scar on her face, Scaleclaw is the current deputy. Fiercely loyal to Loststar, she is quick to lose her temper and attack, even without orders. This gets tempered whenever she’s with Redbone, an odd friendship born when they were both just kits. She’s been given a dishonor title previously for her temper, though (Floodstrike, or Worrlkubo, for how she tended to attack indiscriminately and ruined a diplomatic visit because of it).

Alphys - Lichenheart (Aweewababun)

A small golden cat, Lichenheart is currently the only cleric, having taken over after the disappearance of Boneberry. However, her connection to StarClan is incredibly weak, to the point that she often fakes signs to make herself look more skilled than she actually is. Her biggest shame is getting a large number of her clanmates killed with one of her false signs, though because she’s the only cleric she’s too afraid to come forward with the worry she’ll be forced to step down and leave her clan without one. However, she’s technically already breaking the Cleric’s Vow by being in a secret relationship with Scaleclaw.

Mettaton - Halfmask (Kanochpihaba)

A tall, silver tom with distinctive black markings (the most prominent of which being one covering half of his face) and quite a few scars, Halfmask is a very handsome tom. Being a former outsider, he was invited to join by Lichenheart, who created a set of leg braces for him due to the fact that he was having a hard time walking without being fully paralyzed. He’s definitely quite the showoff, especially after discovering that he was incredibly attractive by clan standards. That being said, he’s also incredibly loyal, often being the first to leap into action during a crisis.

Asgore - Loststar (Mwiskshai)

The current leader of the clan. Despite his imposing size and heavy scarring, Loststar is really a big old softy with a heart of gold. He used to be called Goldfluff (Rreenpfefi), the kind deputy and mate of Lightseed. However, when he was trying to get a cooking fire started, he somehow managed to set his tail on fire. In his panic, he causes the fire to spread and ends up destroying the entire camp and killing most of his children (as well as the leader). As penance, he takes on the name Loststar as a self imposed dishonor title when he claims his nine lives. He doesn’t blame Lightseed for leaving, nor does he get upset upon seeing her come back with Kindlepaw.

On a Variation in Cat Language: Pfurr Clanmew, the dialect of the Sibling Bonds Rewrite.

Hi there! Many of y'all may know my work alongside my good friend @bonefall in our shared conlang, Clanmew. He does most of the vocabulary building and I devised the grammar and serve as linguistics consultant and main writer for the lesson posts.

Base Clanmew was devised with the world of the Better Bones AU in mind, however I too have my own rewrite project which emphasizes relations between siblings as the main engine behind every major conflict. It is very much completely divergent from Bone's work in plot, themes, and crucially worldbuilding.

Although I consider it a side project I fully intend its worldbuilding to bleed back into my default Clan worlbduilding for more canon-adjacent works once I get back to writing.

I of course wanted to use my creation as part of this but as stated before, given the divergences I can't just use Base Clanmew as written. This post is meant to be a masterpost of sorts so I can document all changes between Base Clanmew and Pfurr Clanmew. Think of it as a dialect springing up across the barrier of the multiverse.

So without further ado! Here are the main changes between Base Clanmew and Pfurr Clanmew:

Words relating to cooking and tool use have been almost entirely eliminated. For me personally it crosses a boundary in regards to the levels of anthropomorphism I want to portray. Some particular dishes with prep that is not as involved can of course sneak in, such as say dried minnows, but there's definitely no tunnelbuns, no soups, no stoves, nothing of the sort.

New words reflecting the system of social organization based around sleeping arrangements and polyamorous bisexual marriages, including words for nest, for types of parents, and for types of siblings.

A completely reworked system of pronouns based not on threat level but rather on closeness level, a measure of how related cats are to each other on the basis of the rules of their kinship system.

Words relating to life stages of a cat. The post I'm intending to write about that will also go on into expectations for each age bracket in regards to their place in the Clan and what they should be focusing their attention into.

A new naming system, incorporating names of matrilineal kin.

SURPRISE ADDITION i've been sick with the flu for the past week and haven't been able to go to class so I've been drawing and listening to a lot of music while I've been sick, and I've decided I'll give little tidbits about the cat's relationships and backstories as I do! So here's Snapstar and Maggotbelly, the leader and Medicine cat of MumbleClan!

Previously, they were named Shrikewing and Moonhaze before their exile. (taking inspo from @/bonefall's rewrite and using the concept of honor/dishonor titles!) In clanmew, those names are Whrrekekbeof - Red-backed Shrike's Feathered Wing (with Whrrekek being a word i made for a red-backed shrike!) and Shomsheffse - Hazy Moon

Shrikewing was ambitious from the moment he was apprenticed under Hootwhisker. The two bounced off each other incredibly well, for better, or for worse. Once Shrikewing had graduated into a warrior, he had immediately been given an apprentice, Poppypaw, as the clan was short on warriors, but bursting with apprentices at the turn of the season. His name came not only from his pelt resembling the wings of a red-backed shrike, but his cutthroat personality as well. He fiercely defended the borders, upheld the warrior code as if his life depended on it, and Eelstar took note.

Upon the death of the previous deputy, young Shrikewing was Eelstar's first choice to replace her.

But his ambition had quickly whipped into a desire for power, and, believing the leader was on his last life, began to come up with a plan to become the youngest leader in the cove.

Moonhaze, on the other hand, had been deeply shy and insecure for her whole life. Her appearance as a kit resulted in Eelstar's scorn, believing that his mate had been unfaithful, and, once she had opened her eyes, Mottledusk's horror, believing her to be a curse from StarClan. The queen had quickly returned to her warrior duties as soon as her kits were weaned, leaving the other queens to care for Moonkit, but happily tending to her other kit, Sunkit, as needed.

Moonkit's condition causing her sensitivity to light, both visually and physically, made it hard for her to play with the other kits, and she ended up spending much more time in the medicine den, being treated for horrible headaches and severe sunburns.

Her time in the medicine den lead her to earn a love for Cherryleg's work, and she soon asked to be apprenticed under her, and ended up graduating early.

As she grew, she found it clear that her clanmates held the same disdain for her, but none of it for her sibling, Sunsong, who had the attention of just about every tom and queen in the clan.

Shrikewing had easily picked up on this, and made an effort to spend time with her. As soon as he'd heard about her own contempt for her father, told her about his plan to get rid of him so that he could be leader, promising her she'd be shown the respect that she so deserved.

The next moon, Moonhaze lead her father out of camp, insisting they visit the Starpools ( a bundle of tide pools the shoreline clans use to speak to StarClan ) due to a dream she had, only for Shrikewing and Hootwhisker to ambush the leader partway there. Moonhaze told him everything she had wanted to say to him, all the vitriol and curses she'd hoped would strike him down. Shrikewing happily told Eelstar that he'd take care of the clan, and his daughter, in his absence, before landing the killing blow.

Though, much to their surprise later that night, that had not been Eelstar's last life.

Upon their exile, Moonhaze was given the dishonor title of Maggotbelly, Eelstar comparing her to a rotten piece of prey, flipped over to reveal it's full of nothing but bones and maggots. He'd followed it up by telling her that would have been her name all along, had Mottledusk not already named her Moonkit.

[CM] Pronoun Expansion

Bonefall recently revealed the “we��� form of pronouns for base Clanmew, so I decided to update Claymew’s pronouns to match. I’ve been doing lots of translation work for plants recently so this was a nice easy detour.

Close family - prr, prrs, prrp, prrsk

Indirect family - mya, myas, myap, myask

Clanmate (close) - rrup, rrups, rrupup, rrusk Rrup runs into the issue of already ending in p, so its “we”s are unique! Rrupup repeats the end sound to clarify what form its in, while rrusk replaces the p with sk.

Clanmate (generic) - mao, maos, map, mask Map and mask have shortened over time from their original forms, maop and maosk.

Godly - shaf, shafs, shafp, shafsk Shafp and shafsk are exclusive to storytelling because using shaf for a normal cat is blasphemous. It only shows up in dialogue between gods (or if a particularly bold cat were pretending that two religious sculptures are chatting with each other). It should also be noted that, if these were pronouns for regular cats, they’d be shortened to shap and shask - this will never happen, though, because shortening shaf would be considered blasphemous as well.

Trusted non-Clan cat - mwao, mwaos, mwaop, mwaosk Unlike map/mask, mwaop and mwaosk remain in their original forms. This is due to the fact they’re not used very often - it’s rare to be referring to yourself and someone else as “trusted non-Clan cats”, rather than using closer pronouns. If they were in more frequent use they’d shorten to mwap and mwask.

Non-Clan cat - mwrr*, mwrrs*, mwrrp*, mwrrsk* Mwrrp* and mwrrsk* are very rare in Claymew, rarer even than mwaop/mwaosk. They’re so rare that I actually considered leaving them out entirely, buuut I decided to preserve them. They’d likely be seen in stories related to exile or broken relationships - a pair of cats emphasizing what they’ve lost by calling themselves mwrrp*, as opposed to closer pronouns. They are utter strangers to each other. 

Objects - yin, yins There’s no “we” for yin/yins because these are pronouns for non-cats. Objects, plants, and other animals don’t speak Claymew.

It should also be noted that, due to the relational nature of Claymew pronouns, “we” has a slightly different weight than in base Clanmew - it communicates the relationship between you and the cat you’re referring to, without referencing the pronoun of the cat you’re speaking to (in the case of exclusive we). Here’s some examples to explain:

Let’s say you and your brother are eating duck together - “rrawk prrpnomna”. Using the prrp pronoun here indicates your shared relationship as siblings. 

If you’re telling a Clanmate that you and your brother are eating together, you’d say “rrawk prrsknomna”. Your relationship to the other half of the inclusive we is considered more important than your relationship to the cat you’re actually speaking to, so you continue using prr (prrsk in this case, since you aren’t speaking to your brother).

As a final note, it can be assumed that rogues, loners, and kittypets have their own dialects that are related to but distinct from Claymew. Since ClayClan accepts other cats into their community, I’d like to explore loanwords and ways that these dialects have influenced each other... but that’s a topic for the future.

Speaking of the future, I’ve been exploring Claymew slang, so expect a post on that soon enough! That’ll be a fun one.

Kithood

Flamepaw was given birth to by Sparkstorm, along with Finchkit, and Flickerkit. Though, Flickerkit was stillborn, and died shortly after his birth, but not before getting to meet his dying mother, Larksong. Because Larksong died right after he was born, he never got to meet his other parent.

This caused Sparkstorm, his other mother, to fall into a horrible state of depression, not bothering to care for her last two kits. Because of this, he was instead nursed by another nurser, Sorrelstripe, who had her kits coming soon. He and Finchkit were spoiled by the caretakers and Sorrelstripe when he was very young, but then when he was seven days old, ready to open his eyes, Sparkstorm decided to take care of her kittens.

When he grew around one moon old, the caretakers would tell him stories of Firestar. Fernsong told him stories of the mythological clans, while Daisy told him stories about legends that had spread around the twolegplace she had visited once.

They both then told him stories of Firestar, and how he was a legend and a hero to all the clans. Flamekit admired Firestar, his eyes shone everytime they spoke highly of him.

He thought; maybe one day, he could be like Firestar, too. When he asks Sparkstorm if he was named after the legendary warrior, a few heartbeats of silence echo around the nursery for a moment... until she finally answers;

"...No, I didn't name you after Firestar," xe told him. "It wasn't even my idea to name you Flamekit. Larksong thought that if we ever had a tom, we could name him Flamekit. I don't know the meaning behind your name... Only Larksong does."

Flamekit was disappointed. He felt sad that he wasn't actually named after Firestar, it also just... Didn't make sense to him. Everyone else thought he was named after Firestar, so why wasn't he actually named after him?

Flamekit pushed those thoughts away. He thought that Larksong must have named him after Firestar, that's why she chose his name as Flamekit!

For once he felt important. He believed, or he hoped, he was named after the legendary Firestar...

Apprenticeship

When he was later made into an apprentice during the imposter's reign, having Berrynose as his mentor, who had later died tragically in battle, so Lilyheart replaced him. He and Finchpaw both trained hard to become a warrior, but every time, Finchpaw would always win. She'd hunt better than him, she'd fight better than him, she even climbed better than him.

He felt jealous, how was he supposed to be the second-coming of Firestar when he lost everything to his littermate? He grew resentful of his siblings' success, and she was constantly praised by senior warriors, Myrtlepaw and Baypaw, and the elders.

But, something distracted him from his hatred, which was the reign of the imposter. He grew horrified once he found his mother, covered with blood and scratches, limping back to camp, and then flopping helplessly down.

He'd heard from some warriors that Bramblestar was being unfair, but he didn't listen to them, even after all of that. He could never believe Bramblestar would do such a thing to his mother, he just couldn't!

And then, his mother confronted Bramblestar, deciding to leave ThunderClan. He felt betrayed, she was abandoning her own clan! Firestar wouldn't want this! Worst of all, his sister was coming with her.

Sparkstorm turned to look at Flamepaw, and asked him if he'd like to join her. He declines, Firestar wouldn't want this.

Timeskip, after the events of ALitM, but before River, Flamepaw was finally good at something; hunting! Cats finally praised him for his catches, and he was starting to earn the respect from the senior warriors!

Though, he started to get a little cocky about the fact he was named after, and that he had the hunting skills of Firestar. And by a little cocky, that meant he was very cocky; constantly reminding Finchpaw, Myrtlepaw, and Baypaw of that fact, and when he was starting to grow a slight hint of dark orange, he took it as a sign... He was the second-coming of Firestar.

Hello hello! I've had these questions in my head for ages :3

I speak Filipino, and when I was made to learn a language I picked Spanish bc 70% of Filipino vocab comes from it so it was overall easier for me lol. Would a cat from another country have a similar experience when learning Clan/Townmew, or would they be completely in the dark and have to start from scratch learning a completely new language? How easy or difficult would it be for someone to do that? And do other cat languages have loanwords?

Your conlang is insanely structured and detailed, and as someone studying linguistics it tickles my brain. Keep going! <3

I went in-depth about this once before, explaining exactly how hard or easy it is for speakers of Seamew, Guardmew, Tribemew, and Townmew to learn Clanmew!

The simple answer is that the further you go from the White Hart/Forest Territories, the more distant the languages become. Clanmew and Tribemew share an ancestor, Townmew was influenced by Clanmew twice, and Seamew and Guardmew are in completely different linguistic families.

The other languages do have loanwords, but we haven't actually built them at this moment since one single language is already a huge project lmao. Maybe Someday
