Analyzing Cog in the Machine

Okay so now that the new song for IEYTD 3 has been released I want to analyze it, so lets jump right in.

[Verse 1] "You showed me the door While I'm breaking it down Even you can't ignore The new world that I found"

( this describes how Dr. Roxana Prism was kicked out of the agency, maybe after discovering something she shouldn't have)

"Forging a fire While I'm searching within All that's left is who's right And who pays for the sin"

( this most likely shows how she view the agency as people who carelessly wast human life without consequence)

[Chorus] "No breaking down, no giving up No more accepting just good enough I have a world to make Unbreakable rules to break I'll build a castle, I'm the queen You're just a cog in my machine"

( this shows us her outlook on life, that she is done being a cog in the machine and that if the agency wont let her make her perect world than she will do it herself)

[Verse 2] "You're the best of the best Well, let's see if it's true I'm less than impressed I've built better than you"

( this verse has her specifically addresing the player, agent Phoenix, taunting them)

"I'vе made you before I can takе you apart I'll reach into your core And I'll rip out your heart"

( this part of the verse is very interesting to me as it makes me wonder if at some point in the game she will do just that, she was the one to give us the implants that allow for telekinesis, will she at one point take it away?)

[Bridge] "Gears of change will grind in strange ways Tearing down the walls we make Now for you Another form of control Understand what I do Is the work of a soul"

( I think this line is her justifying her actions saying that what she is doing is for the betterment of people and that she herself has a soul unlike the agency)

Thank you all for reading! To conclude, I think in the game Dr. Roxana Prism will be a far more sympathetic villain than those in past games, a woman who only wants to save people with her machines but has gone too far and needs to be stopped. Hope you all enjoyed and I cannot wait to see the full game.

The first New Year || TS!Loki x Reader ||

A/N: I am writing this because I would really like to have something out tonight! Happy New Year to everybody!

Warnings: fluff, parent!TS!Loki

Since it was New Year's and the first one that you will get to experience with Haven and Loki, the latter had rented out a room in a hotel close to the river where the fireworks would be clear to see.

Loki had decided to take you and Haven down to the river to be able to watch the fireworks and your daughter had not stopped chattering with excitement since you all occupied a space on the grass and camped out. The city lights covered the sky, preventing the night sky that Haven was used to while living in the Cabin back in Norway but she didn't care; it kept her awake - sort of.

When the clock showed 11:50, you turned to find Loki lying back on the green blanket with Haven lying on his chest, her eyes shut and her breathing even. She had fought off sleep as much as she could but her tired eyes had shut an hour ago and Loki didn't have the heart to wake her.

This was her seventh year and you knew that she'd remember this moment for the rest of her life, the grandeur of New Year's celebrations in the capital city of England. Since Loki was banned from America for his invasion, he couldn't take you both to Times Square but he could give you this.

You rested your hand on Loki's bicep and watched his emerald eyes snap away from his darling girl to you and you pointed to the clock. 11:59.

With a smile, Loki looked down at the sleeping girl on his chest and slowly blew on her face to wake her and his heart swelled at the sight of her beautiful nose scrunching up at the disturbance. Her emerald eyes slowly opened to stare up at her daddy and a small smile spread across her lips as she whispered out a tired, "did I fall asleep...?"

Loki let out a small chuckle and nodded as he pressed a soft kiss to her nose and sat up. Just then, an idea clicked in his mind and he looked over at you before his fingers gleamed a beautiful emerald and without warning, your feet left the ground with Loki and you were now standing above the trees, the best view in London.

As everyone began the ten second countdown, Haven pushed the hair away from her face and her eyes looked toward the sky, mumbling the numbers beneath her breath before everyone screamed 'HAPPY NEW YEAR' beneath you and your little family and fireworks soared into the air.

The immediate surprise on Haven's face when she saw the colours lighting up the sky was so worth the wait that you all had made. The cracks, fizzles, pops and bangs of the fireworks amazed the little Princess of Asgard as the fireworks reflected in her eyes so full of wonder and excitement. The girl raised her hands aloft, as if to reach for a firework, and tiny fireworks sparked from her hands and fizzled in the air along with the other fireworks.

You pointed your phone at your daughter and husband, amazed at how both of them reacted to the fireworks. Loki looked completely intrigued by the spectacle and a childish smile pulled at his lips while Haven was laughing eagerly and applauding the fireworks exploding before her eyes.

Once the fireworks died down, Haven's arms lowered and she released a tired laugh as she sunk further into Loki's arms. "That was fun," she whispered tiredly against his shoulder, yawning cutely as her eyes drooped, "thank you, daddy."

Loki smiled lovingly and held her close and in the next moment, you were in the hotel room and Loki laid Haven down on the second bed with a gentle kiss to her head.

After an hour of sitting on the sofa in silence, listening to the soft breathing of your daughter, you turned to Thomas and whispered, "Mr Sharpe?"

Thomas hummed softly from behind you, his nails scraping through your hair as he read a novel.

"I'm pregnant."

Thomas's book was on the floor in the next moment and he was on his knees beside the sofa as he stared into your eyes. "Truly?" he whispered, tears brimming in his eyes as his hand covered his mouth.

"Yes," you replied with a laugh, yelping with surprise as Thomas pressed his lips to yours.

After a very passionate kiss, you pulled away from him and whispered, "happy new year, my love."

Thomas released a happy laugh and kissed all over your face before whispering, "happy new year to you and to our new little treasure."

His hand fell to your stomach and his thumb caressed the skin there gently with a dopey smile on his face, "I love you."

Online visitor registration for ITMA ASIA + CITME 2024

Visitors to ITMA ASIA + CITME 2024, Asia’s leading business platform for textile machinery, can register their visit online to take advantage of early bird rates. The combined exhibition will be held from 14 to 18 October 2024 at the National Exhibition and Convention Centre, Shanghai, China.

Visitors who pre-register on the combined show websites (itmaasia.com and citme.com) by 13 October will enjoy early bird rates which are at a 40% discount. The early-bird rates are US$9 (RMB 60) for a five-day badge and US$5 (RMB 30) for a one-day badge. Standard onsite rates are RMB 100 for a five-day badge and RMB 50 for a one-day badge.

The combined show owners - CEMATEX and the Sub-Council of Textile Industry, CCPIT (CCPIT-Tex), China Textile Machinery Association (CTMA) and China Exhibition Centre Group Corporation (CIEC) are pleased with the positive response received for space application. Compared to the previous edition, the size of the exhibition is expected to be bigger.

To-date, about 1,700 leading textile machinery manufacturers have applied for space. Among them are CHTC, Cixing, Fadis, Groz-Beckert, Itema, Karl Mayer, Memminger-Iro, Murata, Picanol, Rifa, Saurer, Savio, Shima Seiki, SPGPrints, Staubli, Tsudakoma, Truetzschler, Toyota, Vandewiele and Yoantion.

The previous edition - ITMA ASIA + CITME 2022 – was successfully staged, grossing over 160,000 square metres of the exhibition venue. It featured more than 1,500 exhibitors from 23 countries and attracted visitorship of 100,000 from 105 countries and regions.

ITMA ASIA + CITME is organised by Beijing Textile Machinery International Exhibition Co., Ltd and co-organised by ITMA Services. Japan Textile Machinery Association is a special partner of the combined show.

random but do you know when was the first time h did the citm dance? was it at parahoy?

i think it started during tour two. she first did smth very like it at the sioux city date and then from oakland onwards she did it at almost every single show throughout the rest of 2017 and 2018 tours.

here's a mini compilation of the evolution. i didn't include every date from 2017 cause it would've been too long, also didn't include tour four cause the clips weren't great at all (but she did do it at every show for that tour too!) also if there are errors then whoops! citm is burned into my brain so blame that

see a big reason I'm making this playlist for my sister is because I got thinking about how CITM applies to someone her age and how much I would have LOVED to have some like... slightly angstier music to listen to and process my feelings with when I was her age and now I'm like well. in my case digging around in different music genres behind my parents' backs didn't end up too well but something I can do now with the perspective I have is give her access to the songs that have helped me at this time in my life and that can apply to her stage of life as well in a safe, curated way. does that make sense

how was the concert? i hope you had so much fun!!

It was incredible!!! i had so much fun and it was so exciting and the band was so happy!! I had the best night ever. 🥰❤️💓

I'm still sad they didn't play Pool but we got CITM so it isn't that bad.

Everything hurts tho.

CitM, redux

Another day, another city: here is San Francisco. 

Gotta confess that this CitM doesn’t feel quite as clean and oasis-like as the one in Seattle did. But the room is still great, the hoteliers adorable (all tiny Youngs with bomb-ass customer service), and the Vibe is pretty close to pristine once you’re up here in your little Kubrick cubicle. 

It was great to see (some of) my family--some got their flights canceled and couldn’t come. I’m relieved that I somehow eluded some extremely rough weather on both ends of my journey. 

And now I am bushed. 

Pending a negative Covid test, I return tomorrow, via ferry, train, and car, to my undisclosed location in the wilderness.

Loki: *he lowers the illusion and smiles down at Haven* but look at her!

Haven: *cuteness intensifies with puppy eyes*

Everyone: awwww!

Thor: ...fine she can stay!

Loki: thank you, brother! *he smirks as he thinks "how else can i use Haven to manipulate the Aesir?"*
