I am now the owner of a small stash of later 20th century pharmaceutical memorabilia, after my dad’s passing in March, and the house clean-out in July. I’m going to keep those desk tools, they are crafted from some great quality steel, and not unlike my fabric shears which have only ever cut fabric, these desk scissors of my dad’s have clearly only ever been used to cut paper. Some test snips through thicker envelopes and card stock required very little effort. As blunt as the letter opener is, it’s murder-weapon strong.

I am short enough the belt buckle is too large in scale, and as for the finer logo accessories, these come off as cheesy (being late 60s-early 70s) compared with the schmancy cuff links and money clips that Dad affected in the later 80s and early 90s. Once I figure out how much of this stuff I really have, I’ll find a place to move it along.

Finding out that one of the earliest uses of "assigned sex/assigned gender" is from a book detailing intersex conditions that then advocates for our mutilation is horrendous. I wish perisex people would stop using AGAB words. They're not trans words, and they're not inclusive

Those weird red squares are apparently from the ribbons. I guess I kinda broke it when I tried to mark the mesh??? But I had no problem coloring it so it's ok LOL
