Lobco nervously stood in front of her house, slowly twirling her hair in her fingers. Behind her stood her parents, congratulating her on her first date and saying to her that we were so proud of her finding someone she loved. Her cheeks were flushed and a little embarrassed by her parents’ enthusiasm, but she was also flattered and felt good about her decision, despite her usual low confidence and the earlier unsure feeling of her choice of partner.

A shade of black zoomed down by the front yard, zipping by too fast to stop, causing wind to shoot over the lobsters, holding their arms up to protect themselves a bit. Slowly, the black blob slowly backed up, becoming clearer with pointed cat ears and long hair put into a low ponytail secured by a belt, dark eyes staring as the broom she sat upon arrived back to the front.

“Haha, sorry. I got a little excited there..~” The witch waved in dismissal, but she looked nothing like a witch right now. Her oversize hat and dress were gone, instead replaced with a black rose clamped into her hair by her ear and a tight, silky dress clinging around her body, long enough to touch her ankles with a slip up to her thighs. Lobco flushed at the sight of Chlomaki’s more shapely appearance, before beginning to yell at her for going to fast, asking about what if she went too fast, what if she hit the house, blah, blah, she went on and on.

Chlomaki rolled her eyes at Lobco’s scolding, resisting the urge to taunt her about being a familiar and that she shouldn’t be giving orders. Instead, she quickly turned her broom and zipped into Lobco, the lobster squeaking loudly as she was roughly picked up by Chlomaki and slammed onto the back of the broom.

“Now, now, if you keep complaining like that, we’re never going to make it to the party on time.”

“P-Party?! You s-said it was a dinner reservation!!”

“Well, uh, I didn’t lie.. Technically. Besides, if you’re gonna be dating me, you gotta be more social than you already are. I want you to make some more friends so you can be happy with more than one person, y’know? Anyway, see ya, Lobco’s mom and dad!”

Chlomaki waved down to the parents as they waved back, Lobco not even getting a chance to talk back as they suddenly zipped off into the water, Lobco screeching at the top of her lungs from the sudden increase of speed. Once they were out of sight, Cherryblod wrapped his arms around Doloz, the large mom immediately sobbing happily into her husband.

“Shh, now, honey, it’s okay.” He cooed to her, gently taking a handkerchief from his suit and carefully wiping away her wholesome tears. “They grow up so fast.. I’m just as proud as you are. I feel like she’s going to be very happy for a very long time with a girl like that.”

General Opinion: Chlobco used to be my OTP. I absolutely adored it and delighted what I played with my main Chlomaki and tried to dig up every fanfic and fanart I could find. I still hold it very fondly and still think the build up I had with Kime was the most fun I’ve had roleplaying as Lobco but over the years I’ve become a little.....frustrated? Jaded? about it.

Like don’t get me wrong...as I said I DO like it but I think my problem is with how the fandom at large tries to pretend it’s this super cutesey perfect relationship between two saint like lesbians and erm.

Chlobco has a lot of problems. Chlomaki HITS Lobco repeatedly. Lobco repeatedly gets upset and asks her again and again to stop which Chlomaki doesn’t do. This is not ok. Chlomaki FORCIBLY makes Lobco drink alcohol--as in not just pressures her, but manhandles her and physically forces her to drink it against her will. Chlomaki constantly belittles and degrades Lobco, someone who already had horrendous self esteem. She gropes her chest and....the cauldron thing. The cauldron thing is Very Bad.

Unlike certain other popular ships for Lobco, however, I think this is something that can be worked through. Chlomaki’s actions I feel like could easily come from a place of trying to cope with her own abuse. We’ve seen her tease people like Samekichi and Kurotsuno a bit but no one else the same as Lobco. In the manga it also says that her actions come from a place of trust and affection which uh. Im not sure if that’s the best way to put it but basically what I’m getting at is....sorta like how Chlomaki gives control to Fungas at times as a seeming way of coping, I think she exerts control and power over Lobco for similar means and I think she could come to learn why this is not a good thing if the person does not agree to it, like she and Fungas have agreed to.

Anyway TL;DR I like the ship a lot but fandom has really kinda tainted it for me.

because the only witches we really know anything about are Chlomaki and Wadanohara and Meikai, if you count him. Everyone else is just a........ background-filling design, to us, so far.And Chlomaki is fucking horrible towards Lobco, abusing her like.. every instance they show up together. But somehow no one cares because uwu muh sweet pure lesbians uwuI cant take anyone seriously whos against satanivlis/salwada/robco/any of those ships but sucks up any chlobco content.its the same fucking thing.

General Opinion: I love all combinations of these characters and of course love the OT3 most of all.

Those who have been following me for a long time know that I’ve shipped Chlobco for a really long time. Some anons also put the possibility of Fungas and Lobco in my head, but I’ve never gotten the chance to properly RP it. Then Chlocodile became canon and I was very intrigued by their dynamic and came to ship it as well.

OT3 in a way seems more feasible to me than just outright Chlobco since I think Fungas acts as a good conduit between Chlomaki and Lobco whom I feel would have a LOT of difficulty overcoming communication problems. Lobco being reticent in expressing her discomfort at some of the things Chlomaki does between her shyness and need to be an obedient familiar, Chlomaki not realizing the gravity of what she does to Lobco, Chlomaki being unable to speak directly about her feelings, Lobco needing that reassurance. 

With Fungas there they’d be able to overcome these much more easily, and I think he does good by the both of them. I could honestly talk for a LOOONG time about this but I have a whole lot of other asks and drafts to get to |D;; but if anyone is curious let me know and I’ll try for later.
